完売となっていました大竹伸朗 “ニューニュー” が再入荷しました。

2013年に香川の丸亀市猪熊弦一郎現代美術館で行われた同展の公式カタログ。 ─ 「大竹伸朗展 ニューニュー」（7月13日─11月4日）は、 高松市美術館で行われた「大竹伸朗展 憶速」、瀬戸内国際芸術祭2013での展示「女根」とともに、瀬戸内地域でほぼ同時期に開催された大竹の3つの展覧会のうちのひとつとして注目された。 ─ 「ニューニュー」では、タイトル通り、新作・近作・未発表作だけが選ばれており、丸亀市猪熊弦一郎現代美術館の特徴的な立地環境と建築空間を存分に生かした構成となっている。 ドクメンタ13参加作品の「モンシェリー：スクラップ小屋としての自画像」を含むインスタレーション作品と大型彫刻、コラージュ作品と油彩、大型のドローイング、小型のグアッシュのシリーズなど、作品内容も実に多様なものとなった。 - カタログは、シート、冊子、DVDに分かれていて、着脱可能なペーパーファスナーでまとめられている。 作品は、技法あるいは展示空間別に、冊子とシートへと分冊形式で収録。 DVDでは、美術館前の風景から展示室の奥に至るまで、ビジターの鑑賞経験に沿った映像がおさめられている。 - A3を超える大きな8枚のシートには、それぞれ大型のインスタレーション作品を収録。 表には各作品の全体像の裁ち落とし写真が掲載され、ポスターとして掲示することも可能。 裏には細部写真、関連作品、キャプション・データが掲載されている。 サイズの異なる3つの冊子には、絵画的な作品（油彩冊子とコラージュ・ドローイング冊子）とテキスト・資料を収録。 -

Manga haul – weeks of Jan. 31 - Feb. 7, 2017

New manga arrivals were a little behind, having not shipped in a few weeks, but when they did arrive, there was plenty to choose from, with fifteen volumes from Yen Press, Seven Seas Entertainment, Vertical Comics, and Viz Media.

Starting things off with the first image, on the top row, four new releases from Yen Press. Starting on the left, the eighth volume of Kenji Saito and Akinari Nao’s Trinity Seven, the second volume of Konosuba: God’s Blessing on this Beautiful World, from Masahito Watari and Natsume Akatsuki, the fourth volume of Makoto Kedouin and Toshimi Shinomiya’s Corpse Party: Blood Covered, and the third volume of Mizuki Mizushiro’s Psycome light novel series (published under the Yen On imprint).

Moving down to the second row, one new release from Vertical Comics, on the left. The deeply disturbing, and yet highly entertaining, Dissolving Classroom, from Junji Ito.

Still on the bottom row, three more new manga from Seven Seas Entertainment. The fourth volume of Takafumi Nanatsuki and Risumai’s Shomin Sample, the fourth volume of Tsukasa Saimura’s Hour of the Zombie, and the second volume of Re: Monster, from Kogitsune Kanekiru and Haruyoshi Kobayakawa. I have been looking forward to the next volume of Re: Monster, as well as watching the Shomin Sample anime, which was recently released by Funimation.

Working down to the second picture, seven new releases from Viz Media. Starting from the top left, Yusei Matsui’s Assassination Classroom volume eleven, the seventh volume of Kohei Horikoshi’s My Hero Academia (both published under the Shonen Jump imprint), the sixth volume of Keiichi Hikami and Shin Yamamoto’s Monster Hunter: Flash Hunter, and the eleventh volume of Tokyo Ghoul, from Sui Ishida, and published under the Viz Signature line. In the bottom row, three new manga published under the Shojo Beat imprint; the eleventh volume of Kazune Kawahara and Aruko’s My Love Story!!, the thirteenth and fourteenth omnibus volumes of Hiro Fujiwara’s Maid-sama!, and the fourth volume of Yona of the Dawn, from Mizuho Kusanagi.

It may have been quiet for a few weeks, but once my latest arrivals got here, there was a lot to choose from. With this much variety, I should be busy until the next box arrives.

作品のための構想メモやスナップ写真、初期ドローイングなど、現地下見から資材の発送までの準備期間における、大竹の思考と制作のプロセスを読み取ることができる様々な資料を01から07のカテゴリーに分けて収録しました。

スキャンされ、レーザー出力された、様々な資料。

そのコピー紙の束が、特注の窓つき封筒に分類され、特注の書類ケースに収納されています。

初版100部にはサウンドCD “dOCUMENTA(13) materials: 08_#67/2″ がバンドルされています。

各資料のカテゴリーは以下の通りです。

01：メモパッド

準備期間に使用された4冊のメモ帳からドクメンタに関連するページを収録

02：スケッチブック

準備期間に使用された2冊のスケッチブックからドクメンタに関連するページを収録

下見に訪れたカッセルでの風景スケッチや構想のためのドローイングなど

03：ペインティング

カッセル訪問ののち、宇和島で一気に描き上げ上げられた、カールスアウエの森をモチーフにしたペインティング33点のシリーズ（未発表）を収録

04：コラージュと壁紙

小屋の室内の壁紙として使用するために宇和島であらかじめ制作された、コラージュのシートと染色やドローイングを施された布を収録

05：スナップショット

準備期間に備忘録としてデジタルカメラで撮影されたスナップスショットの画像データ205点を、サムネール出力とともにCD-Rに収録。

06：ドローイングと模型

大竹が自己の制作現場をマーキングしたカールスアウエ公園の地図や初期・後期のプレゼンテーション用の水彩ドローイング、小屋のマケットの写真、宇和島のアトリエで組まれた原寸模型の図面、構造スケッチなどを収録

07：カッセルへの資材リスト

カッセルに送る作品の部品やインスタレーションに使用するための様々なオブジェを備忘録として撮影した写真のアルバム全ページを収録

次に、会場近くの黒目画廊を拠点に活動する詩人・辺口芳典が、展示空間でイベントを行うことで‘状況’を変化させます。

さらにそれを受けて、最終日に秋山が〈模様替え〉＝‘状況’の更新を行います。

＊本作は開館時間に、外＝窓から覗くスタイルの展覧形式になりますが、イベント時には空間内に入ることができます。

–

先日に続き、展覧中の秋山伸 [edition.nord] : ブルノ国際グラフィックデザイン・ビエンナーレ2016 帰国展の構成要素としても特徴的なedition.nordのアイテムよりご案内です。

こちらの『大竹伸朗 ドクメンタ13 マテリアルズ：09 “スクラップブック#67 / 宇和島バージョン”』も版元(edition.nord)では完売となっておりラスト・ストックの販売となります。

大竹が80年代以来継続して制作しているスクラップブックは、現在67冊が完成しています。 なかでも、最新の#67は、これまでの日常的な営みとしてのスクラップブックと平行して、もう一冊、ドクメンタに向けた大きなサイズでも制作が進みました。 先に完成したその巨大な分身は、最終的にインスタレーションを形成する上での中心的なオブジェとなりました。 畳1枚分を超える面積を持つページが400以上連なる怪物的なその本は、宇和島での制作開始からカッセルの現場でインスタレーションに組み込まれるまで、常に手が加えられ、変化し続けました。

- このブック・エディションは、変容する「スクラップブック#67」の、宇和島からカッセルに向けて輸送される直前の姿をとらえたものです。 - 無数のコラージュとインクとペイントの集積である巨大な紙の束は、常に重力の破壊力にさらされています。 自重に形を歪め、はみ出し、光り、波打つページをそのままの姿で全ページ撮影しました。 - 420ページにもおよぶ本文の色調整とレーザーカラー印刷は、チクチク・ラボによる社内作業で行われました。 製本はPURとENバインディングとの混合技法を用いています。 主にヨーロッパへの出荷を目的としたハードカバー版もあります。 - 277mm x 180mm x 40mm / 422 pages illustrated in full color
