Like. City-born Chemist takes the train out to a secluded town surrounded by wilderness. The townsfolk are immediately suspicious and you're not exactly loved there. And then there's this witch doctor who can barely speak to you in any civil capacity, and he lives deep in these woods and away from the town and he hates you but you're also the only hope for this town and--

*waves hands* LIKE YKNOW... I'm also projecting what I perceived to be a kinda...victorian-esque aesthetic in potion permit so... gothic victorian romance... with a mean witch doctor who is older than you...

Like just add some more horror aspects to it, and I'd eat that shit up

Matheo had made his way into the chemists' house just to find out they had an incident with their potions!

Obviously, he isn't just gonna leave them there, but being independent, the chemist is protesting that they can handle it! Matheo clearly isn't having any of that nonsense!

Art dump of two (2) finished pieces and some wips that I probably won't finish, plus a little fella

Brain movements detailed below

1st piece: A character from my story I'm writing, Ghoul, he hasn't popped up just yet but essentially he's a vampire that died in the 1880s and dresses in fashion from the 1980s in the 2020-30s, the figure behind him is a self portrait of his alive self in the 1880s, I dropped that one for now because perspective on objects and rendering legs get tiring to draw.

2nd piece: A goddess from the same story, she just goes by the Maiden, she's the one who allowed vampires to happen after resurrecting a dead child who was sacrificed to another god and was rejected, the black figure is her unrestrained divine form, while the more human one is her disguise to hide amongst humans.

3rd piece: Ghoul's semi girlfriend, Hisako, she's a former wrestler and a licensed nurse, she and Ghoul aren't on the same page on how they feel about each other even though it's plain and simple they're meant for each other and by all means should be dating and having a spring wedding, but alas.

4th piece: smal nik, one of the two main characters in the story

5th piece: My chemist from Potion Permit, a game my brother bought me for my birthday that I was briefly obsessed with.

6th piece: An older drawing that I had sitting around that I went and rendered, it's supposed to be Snow White if the evil queen's hired man actually did kill her, but she then came back to life as a vampire, the implication being Snow actually was a threat and she wasn't entirely innocent.

This is basically a very lazy redraw minus my chemist Adrian. But the urge to draw grumpy witch doctor Matheo again was very strong and I think he turned out way better this time, so, uh... yeah, here he is, in all his dismissive glory.

Matheo sure loves using WE when he means I in reference to him and the chemist, as well as the town. “We have our duty. We don’t dwell on such things as this.” As if he's not denying his own feeling. And "We already accepted (the chemist) as one of us!" He says, pushing the chemist behind him and yelling at Myer. Sure, buddy, suuuure

? Apparently Potion Permit updated so Victor and Helene are romanceable and I can find NOTHING about it online??? I just turned it on this morning and all of the sudden they have the “romanceable” markers on their profiles

I’ve got Matheo (potion permit) propaganda!! He starts off despising you but as the game goes on (and if you befriend him) you get this lovely little story of him slowly changing his mind and growing very fond of you. Plus his hates are very sweet and always end with him shyly showing you affection.

You want a lil bit of enemies to lovers? Want a hot older witch doctor with a bit of vampire vibes? Want to watch a man struggle with his pride and embarrass himself when he thinks you’re leaving? Matheo is your dude!
