The playlist I chose to shuffle is my Work Music one. For context, the original purpose of this playlist was background music when I played Minecraft. Songs on here were chosen because they sounded appropriate for repetitive tasks such as mining and building or running around and exploring. Because of these requirements it is mostly made up of video game soundtracks. Nowadays I just listen to this when I’m at my job or doing projects, activities that require me to do repetitive tasks and/or run around.

When it first launched, Diablo II lured gamers far and wide with its addictively-clicky action RPG gameplay and dark world. All these years later the game remains uniquely compelling. That’s part of the reason why Diablo II: Resurrected is so hotly anticipated. Aside from the high-quality gameplay and visuals, the soundtrack also helped solidify the atmosphere of what a Diablo game should be.

I found this fabulous channel by Everness on youtube. Even if you’ve never played a MMO in your life, or it’s been a very long time since you’ve zapped some goblins, do yourself a favour and have a listen to the beautiful heart-melting scores from World of Warcraft.
