Really love how Intimidating they drew Matterhorn in the manga. No suprise he scares the kids!

It's easy to overlook but we really see how impressive Kroos' reflexes and more over, her preparedness is here.

Her crossbow is not visible on the preceeding page, meaning that it's either in her bag or (paranoia-style) carried under her coat, against her back. In either case it won't be drawn and loaded even if she carried it stringed.

But she produces it, loads and draws it (and remember that Terran crossbows carry much higher torsion than earth crossbows) in what is probably less than a second.

That is most impressive and really shows of the preparedness that she will later take to extreme lengths as the Keen Glint.

Ahaha, in my personal diary, in addition to a ton of entries, there are also a bunch of drawings. Today I drew sleeping kittens. In addition, I am attaching my old work from last summer and the collab with @monblan4 also from 2022.

We were sitting comfortably on a bench and painting in the park. I really miss those days right now.

For me, as a Siberian, w1nter is my favorite time of the year. Not all Northerners hold winter in high esteem, far from everyone, of course!

Very soon, in two weeks, I'm moving, so there won't be any posts yet. I love everyone very much and have a happy w1nter, friends!

He has complex feelings towards the Silverash Estate. When he was younger, he resented how his family attempted to tie up his purpose and working life entirely towards serving the Silverashes.

When he was 27, he returned home. Shortly soon after, the Silverash parents were killed and Silverash inherited the estate at 15. The Silverash Clan was unstable and Matterhorn helped Silverash navigate the estate politics and the ousting of the Clan from the Tri-Clan Council.

When Silverash was 18 (Matterhorn - 30), Matterhorn accompanied him to Victoria. Since Silverash is fairly self sufficient, he spent his remaining time obtaining various accreditations. He obtained his Higher Education Teaching Degrees, Flower Arrangement, Culinary Qualifications and Laundry while he was there in his spare time.

He never really approved of Silverash associating with the Doctor of Babel (who was 14 at the time). He felt the Doctor of Babel was trouble and sociopathic but at the same time, he realized that the Doctor of Babel was fond of Silverash and an extremely valuable ally should they fulfill their potential once they grew up.

When Silverash finished off his university degree, he sent Matterhorn back to the estate. Matterhorn taught the various members of the Silverash estate and helped them become qualified for future study. One of his regrets is that he prepared Pramanix for Victorian University but she ultimately couldn't attend because she took a gap year then was pushed into becoming the Saint.

At Rhodes Island, he acts nominally as Silverash's Valet although he now works at the Rhodes Island kitchens. He also works in educating the underage Doctor's Operators and helping them become university qualified. He spends a lot of time with Vulcan and together they parent Ceobe and Gummy. He became a father figure to Gummy because they worked in the kitchen together and he was concerned for her mental well being.

The nice thing about being back home at Rhodes Island is the fact that there's someone messing in the kitchen at all hours of the day and night.
