Hey guys! I'm back from my little vacation! While I was away I visited an AU where Kanto Mewtwo gave birth and has a Mewtwo kid! It was super surprising that Mewtwo in that universe can even reproduce! 👀

*Destino and Felix searched through all of the items in the room, trying to claim anything that they could want. The room was quite empty in terms of material goods, being mainly filled with furniture and decorations. A few pillows were swiped and a couple of board games that Felix had never seen before were taken too. Destino insisted Felix had to take a pillow too, to which the ghost type did. He felt bad they were doing this but he could also see the absol's viewpoint.

Of course Destino was all over taking what they felt they were entitled to. That's why they took a lot of time to carefully consider each item. Destino also wanted to delay the inevitable from happening. That damn, awkward conversation they knew they'd have to have with Felix. They had to find something else to distract themselves with.

Felix proceeded to look through the board games he had acquired and Destino took a gander through the books located on the side dresser. One particular book caught their eye, a picture of a Pokémon they did not recognise was displayed on the front.*

*Destino began to flick through the pages of the book, searching for something inside of it. As soon as it was found, they paused their flicking and looked through the contents inside. Felix stared in confusion at what their best friend was doing.*

Felix: Pal, ain't ya supposed ta read from the start?

Destino: Haha, I can tell you don't read because you don't know about this secret trick. Honestly, it's so well known that it's quite embarrassing that you aren't aware of it. In order to determine whether this book will keep my interest, especially one as large as this, you've got to turn to page 60 and read it. That way you've not gone too far into the book to spoil yourself but you can also get a feel for the writing style.

Felix: I see.

.....

Felix: That bad?

Destino: So bad. No wonder the surface world needs saving. I was clearly brought here to rescue it from awful fiction books.

Felix: If ya need somethin' ta do, you could always join me with this game. Seems fairly simple.

Destino: I'd rather continue reading this than play something like that. Board games are your thing, not mine.

Felix: Only because ya lost last time.

Destino: I didn't loose. I just let you win. A privilege of being my friend. It wouldn't happen with anyone else.

Felix: Of course ya did.

*Felix continued on with his game, picking up the small tile pieces and placing them on the intricately-designed board. Destino desperately wanted to find something else to do. But if that book was anything to go by, it seemed reading was out of the question. They hated board games so couldn't join Felix with his activity. In their room search, there were no other activities found. There was no other choice. It was time.

The absol sighed. They hated conversations like this.*

@distortionmewtwo Ultraviolet timidly approached the Dialga, shoulders hunched inward and tail wrapped around his legs to make himself look smaller. "Great lord of time," he said carefully. "Might I ask- why is it our kind causes you discomfort..?"

“It’s… complicated, dealing with the Mewtwo of this world… the first rendition of the worlds my mother created, it wasn’t anything we were prepared for.”

“It overpowered me, causing me scars I’ll never fully recover from. But that’s because it’s a machine made from mankind’s hatred and nothing else. Many other mewtwos are good natured, like yourself! Please never compare yourself to that thing.”

Opuntia shakes her head. "No, I checked her over. There was no signs of a battle," the Riogle responds. "She does have impact bruises on her chest and stomach. It seems like she fell, but from where?"

Opuntia was surprised by the change in topic from the way her ears shot up at the anon Wartortle's question. "I. I mean I could. But I don't see a point in it. They're probably a high rank."

“Hey guys, check this out!”

Lucario was holding a small piece of paper in one hand. It was decorated with fancy, colorful swirls and cursive text. Mewtwo and Mew, who happened to be in the same room, looked up at her.

“What is it?” Mew asked, curious.

“It’s an invitation for some sort of fancy interdimensional party. It’s being hosted by some legendary Pokémon from another universe!”

Mewtwo took the invitation and inspected it closer. “Looks like it’s called ‘The Gilded Gala’. It’s a formal event open to any Pokémon from the multiverse who’s interested.”

“Oooh, sounds cool!” Mew chimed in.

“You guys wanna go?”

“Eh, maybe…” There was a hint of worry in Mewtwo’s voice. “Looks like there might be a lot of Legendaries there…”

“Aw, cmon! It’ll be fun!” Lucario nudged him. “Besides, if anyone tries to give you shit for being a clone, I will knock them so far into the Distortion World that even Giratina won’t be able to find them.”

“I second that.”

“Guys, I appreciate it, but please don’t.” Mewtwo chuckled as he was looking over the invitation again. However, a look of concern appeared on his face as he continued to read the cursive text.

“What’s wrong?”

“It says here that human disguises are optional, but highly encouraged for safety reasons.”

“Oh…” Lucario’s face fell. “That might be an issue.”

Mew looked at the two of them with sympathy. Lucario seemed to be looking forward to this, and it would be a good chance for Mewtwo to connect with other Legendary Pokémon. They didn’t want them to miss out on a chance like this.

Mew took the invitation and seemed to inspect it further. Then, a small smirk formed on their face as an idea formed in their mind.

“Not if I have anything to say about it…”

The lights were somewhat dim. People and Pokémon were chattering left and right. There were food and drinks being served, and the mood was light.

Three figures entered the building…

Lucario, Mewtwo, and Mew have joined @sinnohsiblings’ Gilded Gala!

(Mod Note: So excited for this! This is my first time participating in any askblog event ever, and I can’t wait to see what kinds of cross-dimensional interactions come out of it!

However, I wanted to put in a few notes to anyone who may send or receive an ask under the cut:

-I do not have much experience drawing humans, so please keep that in mind if you send an ask with a character in a human disguise. (i can and will find every possible way to avoid drawing hands /hj)

-I may not answer every ask with a drawing. In this case, I’ll use some edited sprites instead.

-Mew is the oldest out of the three, having been alive for multiple million years, but they are mentally around 24 years old. Mewtwo is 19, and Lucario is 16. None of them will be having any alcoholic beverages.

She hesitated, looking uncomfortable at whatever she was thinking.

Lief: “Also what?”

Pikavee quickly shook her head. Scared was an understatement regarding the face she briefly made; it was more comparable to the expression one would have upon recalling a particularly harrowing memory.

Pikavee: “N-never mind.”
