Legitimately though, even a lot of these “liberal” journalists want Trump back because the constant drama, chaos and dysfunction around him is simply a better sell than the relatively boring and undramatic Biden.

I don’t want to pile on regarding She-Hulk, I just want to point out that Michelle Wolf did the whole “messing with the streaming interface” bit first.
I’ve not seen anyone mention this and it bugs me.

Remember Michelle Wolf’s standup at the White House Correspondent’s Dinner or whatever it’s called and people kept getting quiet because she did not hold back on anyone… i think my favorite line from that was when she goes “Democrats, I’d rag on you too but you don’t do… anything!” That was the best thing I’ve ever seen live as it happened

Reality TV Roundup - October & November 2023
Reality TV Roundup - October & November 2023 #RealityTV #VarietyShows #TV #Netflix #StandupComedy #Review
Michelle Wolf: It’s Great To Be Here (2023) Follows comedian Michelle Wolf as she covers a wide range of subjects, including relationships, sexual harassment, racial issues, and adjusting to a new culture. – IMDB I’m not sure how many people still remember The Break with Michelle Wolf but I was a big fan of it so I’m always there when Michelle Wolf gets a stand-up comedy gig. The latest one…

You're not good enough, you're not smart enough, you're not pretty enough.
Do it anyway, you stupid idiot!
Bill Gates has never once looked in the mirror and thought "I hope I'm pretty enough to be the CEO of Microsoft today"

In Michelle Wolf's amazing 3-part comedy special on one of the streaming platforms that wants to kill writers and actors (#UnionStrong) she says true equality for women would be having cultural representation at all three levels men get: Great, Mediocre, and Shitty. Sadly, she can only contribute as great because it is bust-a-gut HILARIOUS! Clever, surprising, and often filthy as hell, but showing everyone how to punch up consistently. #ItsGreatToBeHere is worth an R-rated watch!

She later held additional positions on the same show, including, most recently, as writing supervisor. She re-appeared on numerous segments on Late Night, often as her fictional persona, "Grown-Up Annie", an adult version of Little Orphan Annie. Her first appearance on late-night television was in July 2014, when she went on Late Night with Seth Meyers. Her frustration with the imperfect and ephemeral nature of improv and the encouragement from classmates got her to audit a stand-up class at the People's Improvisational Theater aka The PIT. Around the time of the buyout by JPMorgan, Wolf started improv classes at the Upright Citizens Brigade and the Peoples Improv Theater (PIT). Wolf was employed at Bear Stearns from 2007 to 2008, later at JPMorgan Chase, working for almost four years in mutual funds and managing accounts between the two banks. Wolf continues to run, and took part in a marathon in 2005 (Las Vegas), and a 50-mile (80 km) ultramarathon in 2018 at the Bonneville Salt Flats in Utah. She was on the track and field team while in high school and college, competing in the high jump and 400 meter and 800 meter runs before an injury caused her to stop competing. She graduated from the College of William & Mary in 2007, where she majored in kinesiology and was a member of the cardiovascular physiology lab. She graduated from Hershey High School in 2003. Wolf was born in Hershey, Pennsylvania, where she grew up with two older brothers. 2.1 2018 White House Correspondents' Dinner appearance.Bridget Bentz, Molly Seavy-Nesper and Meghan Sullivan adapted it for the Web. Heidi Saman and Seth Kelley produced and edited this interview for broadcast. I would say if this is about celebrating the media, she wasn't there to celebrate the media. They came up to accept them and sat the whole time, while we all stood and shook their hands. Part of the dinner that wasn't televised is they were giving out awards and everyone was standing to congratulate the people that were getting awards and Sarah was sitting. What we didn't see at the White House Correspondents' Dinner If I was talking about a man you would've been like, "She's talking about his abilities," but because I was talking about a woman you're like, "She's talking about her looks." Because I think if it was a man you wouldn't have jumped to those conclusions. I was talking about her personality and I think it says a lot about our society that you would immediately think I was talking about her looks rather than her personality.

On comparing Sanders to Aunt Lydia on The Handmaid's Tale TV series because she's the "mouthpiece" for the administration I made fun of Mitch McConnell's neck and I did a small jab at Chris Christie's weight and no one is jumping to their defense. If there two people that I actually made fun of their looks on Saturday it was Mitch McConnell and Chris Christie and no one is jumping to their defense. I think if you listen to the joke you'll understand that it's about the fact that she lies and if it's taken another way I think you should go back and listen to it again. I think it's clear that the joke wasn't about Sarah's looks, but I don't think - to me it's so obvious that I don't even really need to defend it. I think people have a lot of preconceived notions about Sarah's looks and I think a lot of what's happening is they're projecting onto this joke. On her joke that White House press secretary Sarah Sanders' "smoky" eye shadow comes from burning "facts" But no, I don't think a man could've gotten away with saying that. I think in general when I talk about women, like in my special when I talked about Hillary, I called Hillary a b****, which you later find out is a compliment. But you know, because I'm a woman, I can say things about women, because I know what it's like to be a woman, if that makes any sense. On having more liberty to make fun of women because she's a womanĪs a woman, I have access to hit women in a way that men might not be able to hit them with jokes. I think they still have preconceived notions of how women will present themselves and I don't fit in that box. And I don't think they expected that from me. I think sometimes they look at a woman and they think "Oh, she'll be nice," and if you've seen any of my comedy you know that I don't - I'm not. make them look partisan or make them look like they're laughing at someone they shouldn't be laughing at. There's round tables and people are eating or drinking, so by the virtue of a round table, people are partially turned away from you.Īnd it's televised and there are all these people that may or may not be able to show genuine reactions and so constantly thinking, "I need to react in a way that will come off well on TV.". formal people don't laugh as much when they're dressed up. the laughs aren't very audible in general.
