Surprisingly, Rio permitted Miguel to advance on her friend. Unsurprisingly, said friend only let him flirt after she dragged him by the ear to her god baby and kicked him to his knees to apologize. Miles has never been more impressed and embarrassed at the same time. Margo happily recorded and sent Lyla the video.

It all worked out in the end tho. It seemed some cross versal events can be canon if you try hard enough. Like a cute baby girl to toddle behind the curly haired little boy that thought his new step dad was the coolest. (Until miles petty self tells him what he did to his favorite cousin and for a few months Miguel is desperately apologizing to his son and miles)

I don’t see Miguel as necessarily evil but he is an antagonist still. How he treated Miles was fucked up point blank period. He really expected a fifteen year old to be cool with letting his father die and then allowed every other spider to chase him around, beat his ass, and tell him he’s an anomaly that doesn’t belong in the society.

We’re not going to sit and act like Miguel’s actions were justified cause they weren’t. Regardless hc him as a racist and having him call Miles and Hobie the hard n word is also disgusting cause not only is it racist towards black people but also delves into the stereotype that all latino people are racist towards black people.

Me walking into the theatre: Alright, time to see what all the thirst over Miguel is about. I've seen the edits and he is FINE!

Miles truly is the Ultimate Spider-Man because a common trait between Spiderpeeps is getting blamed for things that they didn’t do even though they still do everything in their power to rectify the situation.

Miles is getting blamed by all the other Spider-Man who didn’t ever think the question Miguel’s logic but Miles still pushes to do the right thing and fix other peoples’ messes like in Mumbattan.

Miles becoming Spiderman was a result of the original multiverse collider bullshit that began before he even knew what it was. He’s more of a victim than anything, but he’s being blamed by Miguel as the source of all the problems when he literally was just pulled by fate into being there. And doing an amazing job at that!!!

If anyone, the original cause of everything was The Spot who brought the 42 spider to 1610, and in that vein Miguel should’ve been going after him. Like imagine if he put the same amount of effort he did chasing down Miles as he did into capturing The Spot maybe there wouldn’t be a problem :/ but instead he was back at base looking at recordings of his daughter and angsting himself up and then he wants to get mad at Miles who is actually trying to do something about the situation other than just let people die smfh
