I was asked recently what my favourite perfumes were, and I knew right away what to say. I absolutely love fragrance and have quite a few that I like and love, but there are always 4/5 that will stand head and shoulders above the rest. I've been wanting to try this for a while but the brand doesn't ship samples all the way over here, I guess it's too expensive. The Fragrantica database has info on the 2020 launch but that's not the one I'm interested in, I want the 2023 version. The way Josephine from Jus de Rose described it caught my interest. I have it written on a whiteboard that I see every day.

WEEEEEE miller harris set came in!! so far..i am somewhat kindof meh on the stuff i have tried like its all honestly nice but not WOW ! but still pretty nice just not for me yet. i will update. but i tried the stuff i thought i would like less first to be honest…here are thoughts on the stuff i have tried so far

dance is like a bright minty strange take on an herbal green/citrus verbena fragrance..very unique i thought i really liked it but then my grandma told me i smelled like fucking garlic

rose silence is a beautiful fruity delina/eau rose/wet dewy rose frag its nothing special but it is classical and lovely

scherzo was definitely something ik its like their most popular fragrance but im just not a rose and oud girl im so sorry……..i can appreciate it but its just so heavy and syrupyand overwhelming to me always im just so blegh about rose and oud

lumiere doree is my fav so far but im not in love w the dry down its a bit heavy on the musk for me..the opening is a beautiful bright neroli and citrus i looooooooooooooooove neroli but its a bit biting after it sits i wish it was a bit rounder.

also i tried peau santal it was very stinky to me i did not like i will update on the rest! 💃🏻

vetiver insolent is too powdery for my liking. I enjoy the vetiver but it’s like if Chanel did a vetiver perfume. These miller Harris fragrances are really a hit or miss for me. the British perfume sensibilities don’t suit me

Beloved by Stone & Wit layered underneath Rêverie de Bergamote by Miller Harris would probably get the smell but that'd also be like eight billion dollars. I might suggest grabbing a roller of Villa Diodati by Poesie (4.50 per sample vial!) and pairing it w/ your bergamot/brandy area of choice? Aside, Poesie also has a fragrance called Maria Montessori that features similar notes. Bergamot, rosemary, etc. Might do it for 'ya. Academy of Pleasure by Alkemia? Maybe? Perhaps Amor Intellectuals. Everything else I Have in my cheap zones tends to run super sleazy-slutty so i hope this assists. Happy New Year 🎊 This year was for me a year of insight and self care, with a lot of introspection and personal growth. I focused on the path towards the best version on myself, preparing for the future in the best way possible. I learned a lot and I’m slowly figuring out my own way and healing from trauma and negative beliefs. Some of the things I did were: - Yoga courses and Sadhana, - Trying snowboard and working out daily (restarting going to the gym) - Krav Maga exam - Save Soil movement in Venice and Rome - Getting a lot of products (candles, fragrances, skincare, beauty, incense, etc.) - Became 25 Years Old - Biennale and learned daily, also reading new books - Re-started modeling - Interviewed on Radio Wow and Rai TV - Experienced Gardacon, Lucca Comics, Giorgio Vanni Live, Festival Oriente, etc. - Got to be a Miss judge - Opened new English channels and started new social media strategies - Esxence, Pitti, and got into the fragrance world more (also meeting influencers - Met good old friends - Home reconstructions - Rimini, Naples and Cilento - Other events (Zhor, L’Oréal, Miller Harris, Welton, Movieland, Gardaland, etc.) - Changed diet and 21 days challenge - Learned about myself and saw that I’m INFJ - New collaborations (massages, beauty, etc.) - Trained guitar and singing - Learned from courses (coaching, self-esteem course, HU, chess, Bo-staff, etc.) - First time ballet (Lago dei Cigni) And maaany other things that made me grow a lot. I noticed that in order to grow we can’t escape the bad things, we have to fight and transcend them. I became more conscious and noticed many patterns I was into that made me feel stuck, and I’m slowly unbinding myself towards freedom and success in any way possible. Let’s make this 2023 a year full of growth, freedom, peace, joy, love, strength, success, consciousness, and virtue.
