October Magma Event "Haunted Mansion" results!

BOO~! You didn't expect that, did you? 👻

Also you probably didn't expect that FANTASTIC result of our last session! And definitely you didn't expect our secret plan of placing all the canvases into one big mansion, nyeheh~~

The results are amazing, everyone did such a fantastic job!! Let's appreciate the details of each room, shall we?

For the haunted mansion, surely it's a very living place, isn't it? 👻✨

Also we hosted the Frame Minichallenge, where you could paint your own painting in the frames! As the small twist, we added them later to the mansion, because what's the mansion without spooky paintings on the wall? ✨

blepfrin i made in 2 minutes for a minichallenge on ISAT discord server a couple of minutes before the plush was announced... this is truly my mangnum osoouspus opusp octopus

Week 1

(unova's drag race but hoenn is here as well)

we're doing a split premiere and i couldn't get a screenshot of the first group but it's cyrus steven yuki alder n and peter

The first minichallenge win goes to Cyrus who uses his evil science man skills to perform this unholy abomination with noodles

the simulator has lots of references to noodles for some reason

But onwards we go to the first main challenge and it's a girl groups episode

for reference this is bonjour hi enjoy the canadian bop

the hoenn legends kinda dogwalk EVERYONE

hoenn is the land of contests we know that pokemon musicals do not compare and cyrus is from another land of contests so he does fine

n clearly has never seen a girl group in his life someone introduce him to spice girls NOWWWWWWWWWWW

the runway category is chaps so i assume this is a country themed episode

cyrus in chaps

ALDER in chaps oh i am living

n redeems himself from his earlier flop with the best look of the episode and cyrus surprisingly eats the chaps category as well

meanwhile yuki cooks up a harajuku chaps combo atrocity and it does not go over well

this might actually cost him the win even though he was the best along with steven

but as it turns out this is a Non Elimination Episode(tm) and instead the top 2 of yuki and steven will lipsync for the win

TEAM HOENN IS CRUSHING EVERYONE ELSE

you know n's counting his lucky stars that no one went home this episode because that was not a good showing

steven and yuki have been singing all their lives all around towns and everything

oh this is a clean sweep for steven

yuki started off really strong but then the rest of the episode was kind of a hot mess for him huh

STEVEN GETS THE FIRST WIN LOOK AT HIM GO

Since they were fighting for the win Yuki's absolutely fine after losing the lipsync aside from the slight embarrassment of being obliterated by rock boy over there

If this wasn't a non elimination episode the bottom 2 would've surprisingly been N and Cyrus

You'd think that Cyrus having the second best runway would save him but apparently he's really not the girl groups type (I mean look at him)

Yuki was the best overall despite messing up the runway but since the win was decided by the top 2 lipsync he missed out as it went to Steven

Peter was certainly here

Also you can see group 2 over there place your bets on the winner from that group

Setting: Standard current times, Europe/US standard living + Lively Underground betting/gambling deathgame system

Players get into the system in multiple ways: High Debt, Runaways, sold by family etc. Occasionally you get volunteers.

To get out you have to earn 5 wins in a row. Lose a game and the counter resets.

If you manage to get out you get a second chance of existence. Full new identity, placed into dream job etc.

Games are built around hidden information between players and unclear groundrules that allow for twists by management.

Ex.: Group of people has to chose participants in minichallenges. But minichallenges are done outside of view of group and participants are not allowed to talk about what happened. Also everyone gets personal quest to gain extra win for their win counter (allowed to disclose but at own risk)

While death and lasting injury is discouraged (it makes the logistics Departement so annoyed), unless it is directly stated as forbidden in the game rules, nobody in management is gonna interfere. Shit happens, disposal is easy

(it's been a hot minute huh)

We took a break to focus on Secrets from the Stars but let's continue

Last time Touya and Cyrus both won the game within a game and got to return to the competition, so we were supposed to be at the finale but now we're BACK at top 6

Do you guys think Steven Peter Grimsley and Scholar are gagged

No minichallenge this time let's get right into it

For this episode the remaining contestants have to record a commercial and sell a preassigned product I love how the description for this challenge is super barebones because from a production perspective it WAS hastily planned out last minute

The two standouts are Scholar and Peter which is funny because they don't seem like the type of people that would know how to parody commercials

I guess they're just REALLY quick learners

Meanwhile Steven does the worst by far which is ironic considering he's the heir of Devon Corporation but also surprisingly fitting if you consider that he's doing an actual commercial and forgetting that it's supposed to be a funny parody

Cyrus and Touya our returning legends do a decent job along with Grimsley

On the runway the category is gay icon and

STEVEN'S PROBABLY JUST GONNA BE DRESSED AS HIMSELF

Grimsley eats this runway because OF COURSE HE DOES and Scholar does a standout job as well featuring Uxie's iconic bob

Taking into account challenge performance and the runway the winner of this episode is

SCHOLAR

Grimsley and Peter do a great job as well with Grimsley's runway in particular bringing him to the top

Both of our returning legends are in the bottom along with Steven it's not looking very promising for them

Are we about to get a T H I R D Cyrus vs Touya lipsync

We don't because Touya survives this episode

He actually did a great job it's just that the only person who did outright bad was Steven

With that we have Steven's second time in the bottom 2 while Cyrus is on his third consecutive bottom 2 placement AND just returned from elimination, it's looking Cyrover but don't forget he's a lipsync assassin

yes this is why cyrus was called the space oddity in the cast announcement

The blue off BEGINS

You can't give Cyrus a song called Space Oddity and not expect him to destroy

Steven's OVER IT he thought he was in the finale and now it's top 6 again he's tired he just wanted a shiny rock and now Cyrus is blowing him off the stage it's not a good day for Hoenn

CYRUS DOES THE IMPOSSIBLE AND WINS YET AGAIN

Steven eliminated in 6th place is one hell of a twist especially since he WAS a finalist for like 3 seconds

Meanwhile in Untucked Touya's looking at his atrocious track record and says all you can do is laugh

Meanwhile Cyrus and Peter unite against the common enemy that is Scholar

Scholar's upward trajectory continues and now he's 1 episode away from tying with Grimsley which is wild considering he started off the season as a HOT booboo mess

Peter's place in the lead continues unshaken and Cyrus and Touya are looking ROUGH but that's the price of slaying several lipsyncs
