right now i only take magnesium & it has absolutely made my life better in so many ways. i started because i was in PT for chronic pain in my shoulder & after pairing the magnesium with PT my pain improved so drastically they said i no longer needed PT.
its not like a miracle thing i just think many of us ARE actually mineral deficient. and magnesium not only helped with my pain, it helped my digestion, which was another problem area for me. magnesium helped me so much so fast that i actually wanted to cry in thanks to it.
magnesium glycinate is what i take. there are several types of magnesium. i suggest looking them up and finding a magnesium that would suit your specific problems the best. and then start the dosage small. i should raise mine since i’ve been taking it so long but im always hesitant. most people can handle about 500mg i think(?) from people’s experiences that i’ve read. but i’d start at around 200mg.
and yes i use an expensive brand. like with how much it helps me, i consider it a necessity. NOW, pure, and thorne are all decent brands. but you can always try a more affordable brand and see if it helps. if it doesn’t help the magnesium probably isn’t the best quality or there isn’t enough of it
i also drink dandyblend a lot for my digestion & general health instead of coffee. like i love coffee but i have to quit it every now and then
