i had a really quick question. if one wanted to change the font size in classic HD either through settings or mods how would they do so? i tried that upscaled mod on nexus but it doesnt fit my screen and shifts everything around weirdly. i want to try and experience classic hd but the font is so tiny it genuinely hurts my eyes

I'm sorry to say this may not be a really quick question... basically, patho1's .ft font files are a custom format that do not have known editor software. A colleague in the Pathologic Modding Discord has I think worked out most of the file format's structure though! You should be able to find enough information to change a font file in the p1 #modding-discussion channel history (this information is OVERDUE to be ported to the wiki).

Otherwise, the only suggestion I have is to extract your game files (here's a text/video tutorial), go to the "Fonts" folder, and try copying and renaming every .ft file to be the largest one. (The renamed files will be installed automatically). I'm not sure if the format will read the replaced files correctly re: "undocumented format", but it might be a good shot!

Ok so magic anons are events or things that happen to a muse for a period of time or until a certain event happens, as determined by the anon sending it.

The best example I can think of for magic anon would be, say that Diluc has transformed into a dog for the rest of the day. If the mun accepts the anon, then you’d be free to RP how Diluc would feel as said dog for that amount of time until he returns back to normal.

I’ve seen quite a few hilarious ones and a few tragic ones (and some very bizarre ones that I’m not sure I could put into words properly), but like I’ve said before, it would fully be your choice if you wish to accept or decline the Magic anon’s ^^

The first year of the revived Boromir Week is officially over, and I am so grateful to all of you!

Whether you submitted stories, art, moodboards, crafts, gifs, or headcanons... Whether you read stories, liked/kudosed (That's a word, right? It is now.)(Or is it kudoed? Hmm...), commented, or reblogged... this event would not have been possible without every single one of you.

Unable to finish everything on time? DON'T PANIC! Just because the event is technically over, you can still submit things in the coming days/weeks/months (I know of at least a couple of people who had computer issues, so they will be submitting things as soon as they sort that out).

If you have submitted something and I have not reblogged it, PLEASE make sure you have tagged @boromir-week somewhere on your post so that I will get a notification. The #Boromir Week and #Boromir Week 2025 tags do not show every post in searches.

For those of you who just found out about the event, you can submit things throughout the year (be sure to tag the blog) or start brainstorming for 2026. Since this was the first year, I'm going to keep the prompts the same in order to give people a chance to choose a different prompt, to do the same prompt again if you had a second idea you wanted to do, and to allow people who may not have been able to participate this year to take part next year. The dates will also remain the same (June 14-20, 2026).

Again, thank you all so much! I loved all of your creations and ideas (I'm still making my way through everyone's submissions, so if I haven't commented either here or on AO3, I promise I will get to yours soon!). I look forward to seeing what you come up with in future years!

JD grew up with his mom and dad traveling around due to his dads work, up until he was about 10 when his mom killed herself in-front of Jason by walking into a building his dad was about to explode. This incident left serious issues in Jason’s mind that derived from trauma. Growing up his mom constantly talked about world issues, the good bad and the ugly. He assumes that’s one of the things that pushed his mom over the edge, the bad people in the world (one of them being his dad). That among other things. So as Jason got older he’s grown a hatred towards society and all the ugly people in it. Jd also often blames himself for his moms death knowing he might’ve been one of the many reasons his mom killed herself, so he resorted to self harm and smoking, things he often now uses to soothe himself of other issues that may pop up.

My JD is based off movie jd and Dan domenech (my skibidi 💔)

core beliefs (saw luma do this so :)): People don’t change. People like to take the easy way out. I can fix the world. It’s not me it’s society

Headcanons:

Lower middle class, he was middle middle class till his mom died

-Heather. He hates Heather and wants to kill her as soon as he can. Though with this whole marriage thing he’s concerned for her (AND HE HATES DAVID WITH A PASSION).

-Heather. He feels Duke is mistreated by Heather, and feels sort of bad. Duke has never done anything that JD feels is “wrong” (minus being a Heather which he does dislike) Duke is walking a thin line on being on jds list of “people he’d kill” but isn’t quite there.

-Heather. Same thing with Mac with the people he’d kill thing. Mac doesn’t really have anything against her from what JD has seen (minus of course being a Heather)

-Veronica. Jd is lowkey obsessed with Veronica, and genuinely loves her, but he is quite manipulative when it comes to murder and doing things that other people consider morally wrong (he enjoys flirting with Veronica cause it gives her butterflies and makes her nervous [if lumas ok w it :)])

-Kurt and Ram. Hates them and their guts hopes they die.

Motivations:

Scanlan: Done the most for the cause by never letting his height stop him from being a big personality. Speaks up against people disrespecting him and his personal space bc he’s small. I will forgive the meat man being tall because it was a secret identity made to throw off suspicion, and because of his overall positive footprint. Chose to not make his gnome body proportionate to his horse body as a centaur (weird but honourable).

A

Orym: Expertly using his height to his advantage in combat, jumping blocking and pushing people twice his height around like chess pieces, however just a little bit too happy about being enlarged that one time.

B

Vax: Short king tall queen couple rep. Also using lithe form to his advantage as a rogue. FCG: Short automaton rep. Could have prioritised body mods that gave him more height but didn’t. Luc: Smallest reoccurring character on cr yet (as a child). Also using his size as advantage as a rogue. Really cool guy. Groon: Short brickhouse rep. Fucked up Grog real good. General badass.

C

Dariax, Yeza, Assum, Wilhand, Kerrek, Sprigg, Wensforth, Aggy: Tbh these are all good guys who haven’t really done anything in particular for the cause but also have not harmed it. Overall good rep, could join the barricades tho.

Chetney: His stance that “the alpha comes from within” is positive for the cause as it removes focus from external appearance, but his association with the “alpha” ideology is still questionable. Taller in werewolf form?

Thorbir: It’s not that he’s actively harming the cause, I just don’t think he’s very good rep either:/ like what are you so grumpy about all the time? Plus for being loving father tho.

Spurt: Perpetuating stereotype that small characters are mindless hive creatures, dies splatted by a giant, bad rep.

Larkin: No-show.

Essek: Even if it’s unintentional, he is actively harming the cause by constantly floating. Come down here bud the weather is fine.

The three kobolds known as madam musk: I respect the hustle, but it needs to be addressed that they’re constantly hiding their true height. Short people can be scary too. Also I don’t know their genders so unclear if they have the potential to be short kings at all.

Otis: Pros: short evil rep. Evil people can be short too! Cons: being evil:/

Zorth: Short disabled rep. Bad boss tho.
