Untitled artwork 7 is a few little designs I have for a post LU Legend, for a comic I may or may not get around to making…

He’s cut his hair short and his outfit has a lot less flair. This is because, well, I feel like he’d be very lost after the adventure with the chain, especially if it was his last. He might struggle with his sense of purpose (hence the outfit changes; he doesn’t feel like himself), and also would definitely miss the others a lot.

So he’s kinda a lil bit depressed, and has kinda retreated into himself a bit, pushing people (notably Ravio and his Zelda) away. He begins to dwell on Marin again, wishing he could go back to her, and has kinda fallen into a metaphorical hole.

If I ever do make the comic, this would be resolved, at least temporarily, but for now all I’ve really got is his design hehe

WIP Word Train and Last Line

Got tagged by @statichvm to do a little word train with various wips and then give the last line I've written which is Clídna centric. The word if you wanna do word train I bestow is SHIELD. Have fun!

Last Line:

“I do wish you’d reconsider our offer,” she grunts, “You wouldn’t be forced to fight, you could have a choice in what you do.” “And when it all comes tumbling down once more? What then?”

Word Train - SIGH

S - She hears the others begin to draw their weapons, senses the knight’s watchful gaze study them, hand moving to grab his own. “Clídna,” Clive warns, “I don’t think this companion of Shiva is as friendly as you are.”

She looks over her shoulder at them, frown forming, “Just….give me a minute. Maybe we don’t have to fight him.” When they lower their weapons she faces the knight once more. “Forgive them. They mean no harm. May we speak?” He remains silent but still looks down at her, Clídna feeling his yet to be seen weapon lower. “We are alike, you and I. Our wards blessed us with their power so that we may have yet another means to protect not only them, but others as well.”

I - “I see. Well I can’t say I recognize the variation you were just teaching.”

Alma tilts her head, “You know Rosarian waltzes?”

“I know a great number of them.” His gold gaze falls back to Joshua, “Would you be opposed to me showing you the version I know, Phoenix?”

Prince Dion gives a knowing look that Joshua picks up on, offering up Alma’s hand, “I would not, so long as Alma does not oppose a change in dance partner.”

G - “Go. I’ll catch up once I’ve treated their injuries. That includes you Stasia, help them find Lucia and her sister.”

Stasia gives one last glare to the man before turning on her heel, “Let’s head towards the ice field. If I were to run away from people that could harm me that is where I would go.”

“Once there we’ll split up, with you sticking by Siberite.”

She keeps quiet as the three rush towards the frozen river, splitting off with the warrior and Stasia going left. “You were pretty harsh back there,” Sib says, eyes scanning the ground for any trace of recent movement.

“It was the truth though. Their fantasies need to meet up with the reality around them. These people want to see their loved ones again and you lot have a way to make that happen, they just need to live to see it happen.”

H - Her fingers lightly trace the design, “A lance and some kind of holy symbol maybe?” She traces a rough copy of the design into the ground without the lance, studying it, “But you’re right, nothing I can recognize past or present in the political world.”

“And you do know a lot more about that stuff than anyone.”

“Well we hardly touched on Meracydia during my studies, so it's possible it's from there, but hmm….” She brushes back some of his hair, tracing along his stubble clad jawline giving a frown, “Whoever did it ruined a really handsome face, probably been on him a long time.” Demos gives a small eye roll, Sib giving a quick glare, “Don’t judge me, I know you were checking him out also.”

His jaw tightens and arms cross at the accurate observation, “I assume you and Thancred are planning on inviting a third?”

She huffs, “Just help me flip him over. I’ll even let you search him for any additional identification.”

I still have not actually quilted my scrap quilt but I spread out the backing fabric to see if I have to piece it together* and look at this!!! I saw it and started cackling. It’s magnificently loud and clash-y and every color at once and I love it so much

🎲! Wait should I pick a specific WIP? How about speed AU?

So, I actually probably shouldn't have added the Speed AU because I'm still figuring a lot of the main things out (as in who is gonna be who from the movie/what changings I'm going to be making to the movie's plot to how I'm seeing it in my head) BUT I've got no self control when it comes to wanting to focus on things I know I shouldn't for now lol.

Rolled an 86.....and I definitely do not have that much to share but have this snippet from the last thing I added:

"STOP THE BUS!" Jake yelled, eyes flicking from the speeding cars of the interstate to the bus he desperately needed to listen and stop. "Watch out!" The stranger's car he'd taken nearly shrieked in his ear. Not that Jake could really blame the guy, considering he'd held him at gun point to get the guys car. But did he really need to almost burst his ear drums on top of all the other shit Jake was currently dealing with? "Goddammit," he snarls as he refocuses on the cars before him. Thinking quickly, he tapped the breaks, slowing the car down as he turned the wheel, cutting someone off as he moved behind the bus and slammed his foot down again, speeding up to reach the driver's window instead of trying to get his attention through the door.
