New pattern alert! Currently pattern testing this. Ignore all my tension issues, my hands can’t seem to decide how wide this band should be.
I’m calling this one “Cherry Gingham”. In my chart there’s pretty clearly a shine mark on the cherry, but I’m not sure it reads well woven up. Might need to play with it a little.
Oh well, that’s what pattern testing’s for.

[Image ID: Two pictures of the same green and blue knitted moss stitch shawl with a cable going down the center. The first image shows it spread out on a bed. The second image is a close up of the center that shows the texture and cable in detail. End ID]
Finished this moss stitch shawl last week. I'm going to make one more before I put the pattern together to sell for like idk $5 or something. Going to experiment with an icord edging. It needs blocked cuz I'm still getting used to Norwegian style knitting and my tension leaves much to be desired.

I made a pattern for one of them pokeymons that’s only 3d modeled so I had to edit it myself.
Idk how tumblr affects image quality but you can get the full res free on my kofi along with other patterns I’ve made.. I’ll use this on plastic canvas when I’m not sick.

[Image description: Three photos of a plushie baby Stegosaurus. Its body is light purple, beak and thagomizer are dark purple, and plates are a gradient starting at light purple by the head and ending at dark blueish-purple by the tail.]
This was a custom request! It was handmade by me using my own baby Stegosaurus pattern.

Calling this the first "draft" of our amigurumi cat pattern. It's not too bad!
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
This one was inspired by this year's Autistic Creative Takeover prompt list by @SaltedGayFish for the Autistic Creative Festival taking place this month! It's mostly on Twitter, but I'll be cross-posting everything here, there, and on Mastodon.
The prompt I immediately zeroed in on was "animals." Find the prompt list on Twitter and join in if you'd like!
I am also sharing the actual first draft of this pattern!
I'm going to be updating it as I work on another cat or two throughout the month. When it's good and done, I'll make sure anyone who found it during Autism Acceptance Month gets the complete version, and in May it'll go up on my ko-fi and Ravelry stores for a bit of moneys.
Comments are on. You can ask questions for clarification or let me know if you changed a little something. Or you can just say hi. Whatevers. :3
Happy autism month.

I'm too tired to blog or read or socialize, but I felt like writing this up.
Toe Hats!
So from one point of view this pattern is completely unnecessary. You could just wear wool socks in the first place.
But sometimes you weren't expecting to need wool socks today. And your toes are cold. (Whenever I start looking at sock yarn, my feet immediately feel cold, no matter what the actual temperature is.) And you don't want to get up.
Here is a quick way to use up scrap yarn, which you can then keep in your office and slip on over your cotton socks when it turns out to be colder than you expected.

Fingerless Glove Pattern for sale :)
Tumblr media
I’ve been working hard on this pattern for fingerless gloves for the past few months. I would appreciate if you would check it out on Ravelry, where the PDF is $2.
Let me tell you how I used to make really simple fingerless gloves for free, though: Chain to circumference of thickest part of wrist/forearm you want to cover. Slip stitch into first chain. Single crochet until it’s the length you want. Chain and turn. Single crochet to 2nd to last sc before that row. Chain and turn. Do that for 4-6 rows, depending on thumb thickness. Sc to end of row, ch 2, sc around 2 times--treating the two chains as you would a foundation row. I usually slip stitched the last few stitches to level out the top.

making leaf / ivy garlands, super hypnotic to make! the pics show two, the first is five feet and the other is three feet, each leaf probs 2 inches in diameter
together these used up one skein of lovely thick dark green yarn, used a 7mm hook to give the leaves a bit more volume
pattern in a readmore below:
all i did was combine a few approaches i found, pretty simple overall
round 1:
ch 2, (2 sc, hdc, dc, hdc, 2sc) into second stitch from hook
(on all but the first leaf, it helps to root the first round into the stem by putting a slip stitch into the first available chain from the stem once you finish the first round, but its not necessary)
round 2:
ch 1, sc into next 2 stitches, 2 hdc into next, (dc, ch 3, slst into third stitch from hook to form the leaf point, dc) into next stitch, 2 hdc into next, sc into next 2, then slst into leaf 'center'
connecting stems/vines:
ch 10 (or more/less depending on spacing, wouldnt recommend fewer than 6 though) before starting next leaf!

I couldn’t resist
Tumblr media
I have no real ambition to actually stitch this, but I *needed* to design it so here it is if anyone’s super bored. No color lists because they don’t really matter, fill in the cats however you want.
