since both mydia and baatu seem to travel around a lot, it wouldn't be too far-fetched to say they bump into each other occasionally while on the road. Every time it happens dia greets him with a smile, before checking him over for any injuries (and giving chiding him about being more careful, or bringing more food with him, or wearing warmer clothes-) it's gotten to the point where dia has lil gifts prepared for whenever they bump into each other again, a travelers kit here, a scarf that reminded them of baatu there, and any other trinkets they would usually pass over but it seemed like baatu would enjoy.

I absolutely love this!! Oh my god,,, They absolutely would meet up from time to time and Baatu would want to keep contact with them!! They have only been friendly and caring and he honestly owes them so much for healing him. AND GIFTS?? Baatu would get Mydia gifts ;-; Honestly, idk what kind of gifts he'd give, but Baatu would definitely cook for them if allowed.

🔥 a headcanon about a time in my muses life that felt incredibly chaotic or out of control around them.

You're getting a drabble because I haven't been able to stop thinking about this prompt since you sent it -

"Do I need to be here?"

The sound of footsteps crunching against frosted gravel cease, the creak of well worn leather armor filling the empty air between the two lone figures. The rest of the gang had already gone ahead to surround the area, the same well practiced maneuver to make sure no survivors slipped pass their lines. "We've been through this," the voice was low, boots crunching gravel once more as the steps came closer to the Viera standing stock still in hesitation. "Thought we already worked past this problem o' yours."

Rough fingers pulled down the linen covering milky hues and suddenly the world was far brighter then Mydia preferred it.

"I-" The words caught in Mydia's throat, tongue heavy and eyes flickering from the frost covered gravel to the moonlit trees surrounding them. The world around them was blurry, a smudge of colors and black spots threatening to overwhelm them in a moments notice. Without the blindfold they couldn't discern which way was what, where the light was coming from or what the stones beneath their feet looked like. They were naked, bereft of the covering that made them feel safe.

"I'm not a soldier, I shouldn't be here." At last their voice forced itself free, the words quiet and fingers twisting into the front of their robe.

The man, their boss- no their friend - simply laughed, a loud, guttural sound that made it seem as if the ground itself trembled with its force.

"You're our insurance," the man laid a thick, gloved hand on their shoulder. "We go in, get our money, remind them why no one fucks with our lot, then get out - and you," his hand squeezed their shoulder, leather creaking. "Make sure none of us die in the process, use that blessing a' yours."

The man let go, slapping Mydia once on the back for good measure. "Stay in the perimeter, listen for your signal when we're ready for ya." He dropped their blindfold back into the viera's cold hands, head tilting. "And Dia, remember what to do if one of the bastards wiggles past us and makes it to you?"

Quiet engulfed them for a moment, the blindfold heavy in Mydia's hands as they slowly brought it back up to their eyes and tied it in place. It was instant relief.

"I kill them."

((Went to a sanrio art party the other day and was inspired to draw my regular art party crew's (even tho some couldn't be there) FFXIV characters as Sanrio inspired! ))

hm okay. as of right now (halfway through season six) i think my ideal pairing are sciles (duh) and… mydia? (would that be their ship name? that’s…. that could be better lylia? hm.) but scott and malia are were-besties and stiles and lydia have something deeper and weirder going on than can be classified by science. like they go on double dates and people are like. “oh huh. wait… huh??” and not just bc of heteronormativity. sciles and maldia (i think that’s the winner) arrive at the bowling alley together as a couple but then scalia leaves together to howl at the moon and stydia leave together to solve a mystery, and also sciles and malydia are making out but stiles and lydia are holding hands?? and earlier lydia was leaning on stiles’ shoulder while he played with her hair, and stydia and scalia spend like 5 minutes each looking deeply into each other’s eyes without saying anything. stydia are like, holding hands while buying tickets to seethe barbie movie together (scalia can’t be there bc the premiere is on the full moon, tragic), and someone’s like “aww you two make such a cute couple <3”. and theyre like “HA uh-what?? no. obviously we’re not dating. yeah i was in love with her for several years and i was the first person she would ever drop her mask around but we’re not DATING that would be insane 🙄” and stiles turns to lydia like “some people make the wildest assumptions” and lydia’s like “ugh i know” and leans her heavy head against his chest

to kinda placate myself and not rush the other game I have on my streaming schedule I decided to do a woodelf rogue run.

She'll keep feral hissing and yowling at Astarion (and he back at her) until the game lets me change characters classes lol

She's currently plucked Gale out of the rock he noclipped himself into and went to camp and then it was like

Astarion: So we had to pull a wizard out of his own rune. Not the best introduction.

Mydia: ......... He's kinda cute tho.

Astarion: ......... 🙄 Woodelves.
