Beatles statue, Pier Head. Nikon F65. Orwo N74 (respooled.)

The Beatles statue on the Pier Head has become a popular attraction since it was unveiled in 2015 to commemorate the 50th anniversary of The Fab Four's last public performance in their home city.

It was cast in resin and clay by sculptor Andy Edwards and was donated by the Cavern Club organisation. There are some hidden details on the sculpture such as the number 8 on the sole or Ringo's boot (a reference to his childhood postcode L8.)

Sorry for the lack of photos, I've been on a self-imposed 60-day break from shooting.  Today begins my latest 365 project, however, so I'm back in the saddle.   

I'm shooting film again this year, and I'm shooting with a wide angle all year.   But it takes a while to go through a roll of film and then get it developed and scanned, all of which I do myself for Bnw film. 

In the meantime, here are some game day photos I took back in 2018 using a film camera.  I used a specialty film called Orwo N74 and the camera was my Canon F1, the same one I'm going to employ this year.   With the exception of one photo, these are all just right out of the scanner; I didn't do any touchup work.

Siblings of the Night: The Vatore Family Townie Makeover 

The Vatore siblings moved into Forgotten Hollow a few years ago & are striving to make it their home.  This can be quite challenging at times since they are not exactly on the best terms with Vladislaus Straud, but when asked only ever mention a difference in their culinary tastes.
