i never ever want to hear people talk about the raijinshuu as though theyre his cheerleaders/worshippers because that's not true! theyre his friends forever and always and im about to talk about it ad nauseam. its honestly going to sound pretty aggressive but idc its so annoying that after a decade theyre still interpreted this way!! also very ramble-y again

first and foremost, its the best way to view them and they were taken seriously. to put it plainly, the raijinshuu were created for laxus. theyre his team and his accomplices to his crimes! laxus at the beginning of the series is nothing short of selfish, arrogant, and rude. these are traits that not a lot of people want to hang around with for good reason! but yet he has 3 people who would hurt their own guild mates for him? even so far as to kill? like in evergreens case SHE lives with many of the girls that were in the Miss Fairy Tail Contest! erza, levy, cana, and bisca all live in fairy hills along with evergreen. she's dedicated to laxus and his cause and was willing to murder women who she slept right next door to!!! (under the assumption she lived there pre-BOFT, if not its still crazy considering theyve known these people since they were teens)

what must you do to garner that sort of support? that mere idea alone should be indication of a deep bond. and it's not manipulation or any threats made by laxus! its not mean to say this because mashima says this too. laxus is not a genius (his intelligence is a 3 from the GMG stats, so average), hes not a master manipulator who tricks them into following his lead. he also never threatens them, its very obvious from the get go that they agree with his idea! because theyre bad people too! so if YOURE an asshole and IM an asshole, then hey! were like 4 peas in a pod! theyre similar to laxus, they seek power, fame, and recognition for their skills (also fun!.. by beating people up). it makes sense laxus would be drawn to them. if they didnt have traits he liked in the beginning, he wouldve never given them the time of day because hes a dick who pushes people away

laxus is very socially awkward and never got close to the other members of fairy tail. in flashbacks, hes always on the outskirts of social events. laxus was raised in fairy tail, every one else were orphans who came in like as 10yos or something. laxus was alone in terms of children his age since birth until the raijinshuu came around. like obviously he'll end up anti-social, he's surrounded by kids 5 years younger than him or adults (they literally never show kids going to school, maybe laxus did but they definitely didnt stick around!) by ages alone they have a better chance of getting along with him

and they have time!!! so so much time to get close to one another. lisanna referring to them as the raijinshuu at first sight and them welcoming her with familiarity confirms their formation BEFORE her death which is in X782. BOFT is in X784. thats AT LEAST 2 years to get buddy-buddy with each other!! and whats more is that its mage work. not some office job. you can work a job and not know the name of the person right next to you but not in this profession!!! literally you eat, sleep, and fight side by side!! you cant expect laxus to be around them for that long WILLINGLY and think he doesnt form a genuine connection with all of them!! idc if it takes months, he comes around! he couldve broken it off any time he wants, i know he saw strength in them but laxus is so moody he wouldve said fuck it and got rid of them anyways. but he doesnt!!! because he likes them!!

and hey lets just say maybe they barely hung out besides doing jobs Pre-BOFT, i'd say fair! laxus was pretty bad back then, but post-BOFT, they'd become close no matter what. they continue working together and with everyone's more mellowed out personalities, then it all leads back to them to being friends!! stronger than ever too. laxus getting touched by their love and vise versa is inevitable

thats a big thing to note too! he likes them because theyre strong, he doesnt pass that around lightly. he says this about s-class mages of course but he thought the same of them as well! i have touched on in another analysis about his comment on ever v erza. but to reiterate he thought ever could take on erza and is incredibly angry his expectations were not met!! he doesnt even think "maybe she was weak from the very beginning" No!! he thinks its a fall from grace!!! that says so much about him and the respect he has towards her! he glazes them too its a two way street!

sigh its true in the sense that mashima didnt care about them as much since their initial arc and made jokes creating this narrative and some people just took it and ran. but if you really think about it, theres no way they do. remember that they work together? so they spend numerous days with him and see him act like a regular person.. they met him as a teen boy like ofc the spell breaks the first day. laxus is strong but cmonnnn the image fades fast. theyre teens too, you dont think they find him like nightmarishly annoying some days. they cant be blind fanboys/girl because that would require some parasocial relationship but how does one have that if the person you are a fan of in question is telling you he forgot his sleeping bag when he was packing....? like 2+ years is a long time to get to know a guy

fans are annoying in the sense that THEY DONT KNOW YOU!! but they know laxus!!! the problem is how mashima presents them and ugghhhh i get where people get it from but if you take literally 2 seconds to think about the logistics, its all for show. like pls guys just trust me on this. they've went bar hoping, they've gone to festivals, they throw each other birthday parties, it was never a casual work relationship (disregard this part, im getting into hc territory)

but genuinely if not the raijinshuu, then who else? dont bring up fairy tail team b becaus then why doesnt he want to go on jobs with them (the ones who still do)? why arent they the ones he's drawn with in numerous group official arts? so youre saying he goes on jobs for days, weeks, months with his coworkers and OTHER people are his best friends? what???? sure team b can be his friends, but then you have inner circle friends, which in this case is the raijinshuu

it is hard to see laxus reciprocating this love, i understand, but thats just how he is. he's terrible at emotions, its how he ended up nearly blowing up magnolia!! despite all that he can admit to loving people because he does it in canon. the words are right there. you can hear it too in the anime if you want! like you see him hug them so close to himself the second he wakes up from a coma. he was just as worried as them!!! he thinks lowly of himself because he's not doing enough FOR THEM!!

also patrick seitz (laxus va) says verbatim "you 3 are the world to me. i cant keep you safe" like are you kidding me sure dubs can deviate but it just supports the original even more. its so direct, he loves them! he thinks the world of them!

im gonna get atmospheric on your ass because literally this man's breathe is tickling your face as he says he loves you and he needs to do better for YOU!! he's burying his face in their's!! its sooo sweet and it was fast too! he was overcome with emotions that he had to immediately tell them this and physically let them know. its so so important that he initiates too!! hes not usually touchy like this, hes never hugged except here!! (side hug for jellal during GMG wasnt heartfelt, he was being a tease, also it was nothing like this)

like the pure rage he felt after what wall did could not be compared!! he wasnt even this angry during his fight with raven tail. and we get another hint at how he views himself. hes changed a ton since BOFT, he used to think of himself as an arrogant god but now he admits hes barely worth his friends' lives. i find it a little much and the raijinshuu would probably say something about that, but it really shows that he feels deeply for them too. he wouldnt do this for "worshippers" or part of the "creed of laxus" (gray watch yourself)

also another point, if they really were mindless meatriders, laxus wouldnt even like that. sure old him probably wouldve sucked up all the attention, but since his exile, his ego has been reign in and wouldnt enjoy people blindly praising him up and down. genuinely think about having 3 people have a fan-idol dynamic with you and you work with them for YEARS in life and death scenarios. that is legitimately an insufferable experience, you'd quit! unless you are an ego maniac (which laxus kinda was before) it does not last long!

they dont do these things because its deeper than that. they tease and poke fun at him! its points to the idea that theyre regular people who joke around with one another! like they know him enough that he gets lost easily? i get intense cuteness aggression from them THIS IS WHAT I WANTED it is the tiniest glimpse of their dynamic when theres no over looming threat or serious job and i love it a lot! seriously what would have happened when laxus just got to come back normally and drop off the groceries?

is that not significant too? it was bickslows idea to do more casual things for cash and laxus goes along with it? that would be boring for him no? he loves fighting yet hes willing to hang around at a restaurant? the people he works with must be enjoyable then no? evergreen says the place is lowkey dead so its not even busy. like they just like experiencing life together its not hard to understand. when fairy tail disbanded for a year they all stuck together and worked in blue pegasus of all places. laxus always had the chance to tell them to go away

more teasing :3 im making this thread with strictly canon moments from the manga to make a point, it's more important to focus on moments mashima made canon in the og series. secondary content (anime only scenes, ft game dialogue, their gaiden volume) could be saved for another day

this has been going on for a while so one last thing and its my favorite thing, theyre physically affectionate!

when they glomp laxus its from pure joy that hes back!! BOFT is in october while tenrou island is in december, its only 2 months theyre apart but they missed him so much!!! its a lighthearted jokey tone but is them hugging him not indicative of a friendlier bond? it implies that BEFORE he got exiled he had a relationship with him that made them think it was okay to hug him. if they know him and he didnt like being touched like that, it doesnt matter how much they miss him, they wouldve respected his boundaries and not hug him. but they did! they mustve been affectionate before these events, they just didnt let anyone see it!! but since he's back they couldnt help themselves! freed's nuzzling his face its all very cute

also hes so harmless all he does is say stawwppp, they never push the joke further by making him push their faces away or anything. he says get off but doesnt really do anything beyond get embarrassed

like this moment is even better since its not played off as a joke as much! evergreen still hugs him and this time he doesnt even say anything!! this is still fresh off exile, so its not like their relationship developed in that time to making physical touches okay. no, it was before exile that this development occurred!! when the raijinshuu began opening up to people, it made them more bold to show that side of their relationship. its again really close too! her cheek is right on his arm and shes hugging him close to her chest!!

shes literally about to throw her arms around him if we had a second panel youd see it ugh AND HE WOULDVE LET IT HAPPEN!! not as intimate but bicks has his arm on him too

i think it misses the messaging of fairy tail, which is an anime about love, friendship, and family if laxus lacks that and the raijinshuu are nothing more than cheerleaders who arent actually that close to him. it makes 0 sense realistically, the existence of a couple one off jokes are that, just jokes. in canon laxus has stated he loves them as much as they love him! i find that laxus' main charm points is the idea that despite having difficulties with connecting to people, he still found love! if him being an asshole didnt scare people off, it was how socially clumsy he is! but the raijinshuu didnt care, they liked that about him because it made him, him

it really diminishes his closest platonic bonds and honestly a fundamental misunderstanding of his character to dismiss his friends like this. he'd hate you for saying shit like that!!

TDLR; the raijinshuu are not "a fanclub", "laxus whorshippers/fanatics/idolizers", "a parasocial relationship" or whatever else people want to say about them them! laxus is grown, he has complete autonomy in who he wants to spend most of his time with, in and out of work, and guess who he picks! its freed, evergreen, and bickslow!

GOD DAMNIT. i saw this ask n then got some stuff done but now i been thinking about this. its the cannibalism aspect that got me.

vague ideas i been thinking of. but where sampo is Technically the 'beauty'. but he's cursed too. sampo being a once well known thief who was cursed with obscurity, where as soon as he leaves peoples view everyone forgets about him entirely, he is only ever perceived if he has peoples' full attention on him.

initially thinking maybe jade cursed him with this, but then i got the funnier thought of sparkle doing it. where sparkle was his previous questionably human 'partner' and fellow thief, and when he dipped on her with the spoils after she tried to marry him she cursed him until someone would love him 'even though they see you for the piece of shit snake you are'.

but sampo? hes chilling. like ya ok losing his fame as a world renowned thief sucked and also that his home as brughel in epsilon was sold to someone else cuz everyone forgot she lived there and ya if he puts his things down too long and leaves people will take it from him, or also that he always has to mend his own wounds and cooks for himself and not to mention that one time he bought a room in a tavern only to be woken up by the grossly drunk and flirty couple that just bought his room. but its FINE. he uses it to his advantage, robbing people blind, swiping wares from stores when the shopkeepers back is turned, keeping to the peripherals of peoples vision until he wants to sell them on something and vanishing as soon as he scammed someone.

at some point he ends up travelling to Belobog. Im unsure what way id want this but one thing im thinking is that belobog has or had a mining town in the mountains overlooking it, with a massive fortress built by the founders of the town. It Had been abandoned, until years ago when a monstrous creature started attacking anyone that approached the mining town. Or at least just attacking and consuming anyone who approached the fortress, maybe leaving the mining town idk.

a 'curse' was placed on the mining town, creating a barrier that keeps any humans from entering or leaving. (but really, cocolia placed it) the two towns are kind of at a standstill, with cocolia offering a huge reward to anyone who can break the 'curse'. im thinking either a) belobog knows the mining town is still alive, as they trade minerals for food with the town through the barrier which is Heavily controlled by cocolia, or b) they assume the entire town has been eaten by the monster.

either way sampo doesnt give a shit about the cash reward, but the idea of an abandoned fortress is tantalizing monster be damned. he discovers that hes not just cursed to not be seen by people, but the 'curse' doesnt see him either. hes able to get into the mining town and the fortress, but trips up and somehow the monster is able to See him fully. Somehow this hulking thing is able to chase him down even when hes out of view, is hyperaware of him and starts to learn sampo's tricks every time he breaks into the fortress.

basically just. gepard, cursed by cocolia or something after she thought he was asking too many questions or something and she tried to use witchcraft to corrupt him into an thrall and under her complete control, but gepard's willpower causing it to fail and his protective nature becoming toxic and having him unthinkingly trying to protect the mining town and everyone from the dark magic cocolia was performing in the fortress. And sampo just.... being technically cursed but chill with it when he shouldnt be and constantly getting chased away by the beast.

and gepard eats people. very important

last november i was in china when my little brother called me and told me to come home. over summer my nan, my mums mum, had passed away before i had managed to get back to see her and my mum, my best friend in the world, had a heart attack soon after. i was with her then. we went to the funeral. she got better. we saw robbie williams live. we went out drinking and to the beach and watched coyote ugly and la la land together, our fave movies.

when my brother called me to tell me mum had cancer i knew it was bad. i lost my best friend to cancer when we were just 16 years old. thats never a good word. but its my mum. and to quote her days after her own mums death 'i always knew one day my mum would die but i never knew she would, like, actually die'.

i knew in the back of my head why i was going home but i didnt believe it. i watched spiderverse for like the third time on the plane. i went to grab my suitcase and laughed when i realised i was at the wrong shanghai - gatwick conveyor belt. who knew there were two at almost the same time.

then my brother, my baby brother, who is 30 next year but was 28 and always our baby brother, called me and my life is never ever going to be the same. i knew the moment he called. and i sat on the floor at gatwick airport shaking and people kept coming over to ask if i was okay and finally my sister and my aunties, my mums sisters, arrived and they were let into the baggage area when they explained and picked me off the floor.

i dont think this is a grief that has settled yet. i was meant to see louis that night. i havent listened to a song by him since despite his music getting me through some of my hardest times. my denial, she'll walk through the door and say this was all a joke, phase went on for months after we planned and executed a funeral and wake on the beach in malta. i made a great playlist, i wrote a great eulogy. i did that but it didnt properly sink in why.

i still, almost a full year on, wake up and think about messaging her to tell her how im feeling and check in on her.

my mum used to send me one direction news she found on facebook every day. harrys got a new album emmy did you know? and i was like no mum wow thank you (of course i already knew). she loved niall and we were going to see him live together. she wasnt a big fan of louis' music but ached for what he'd been through. i woke up the day after hearing about liam expecting a text from her checking in because she got me 1d tickets in 2014 for my 23rd birthday and she brought me merch and the dvd of the movie -

my mum who hated the beatles because they were too mainstream but loved what i loved because i loved it and was passionate about it. god she would have been crushed for me today. she would have been heart broken.

and i think this has hit me like a train not only because everyone who knows me knows how much i loved liam as if he was my own friend, but also because this past year has been so full of grief i dont always know how to get out of bed. my dads mum passed a few months ago. my family are wrecked with it. this past year has been a nightmare we can't get out of.

i always related to liam as someone who was bullied at school and as someone who suffers from mental illness and has suffered from alcoholism, thankfully, for me, something ive managed to come back from and im sober and i always hoped for that for him. its such a hard fucking mountain to climb and i didn't have to deal with the fame side of it and this whole other thing he had to carry. i always wanted him to get better but in the back of my head i had this feeling, i had this fear that i would one day log into tumblr and see the worst.

i still cant, and im sure for a long time won't, believe this real. thats one of my boys. we were very much meant to get old together. i wanted to see him get better. i cant begin to comprehend the fact he wont have that chance. this still doesnt feel real to me man. thats my boy.

just a few days ago I was in a convenience store and they were playing heart meets break and i was jamming and excited to hear my boy in a store. i keep remembering its happened, and i look at the photo on my bedside of me and my mum at the robbie williams concert and i could really do with her right now. a link to a facebook article and her over use of emojis - a shocked and crying face and a broken heart. because what else can express this?

i know i didnt know him but i always had the comfort of knowing of him, of listening to his music and watching his videos and feeling less alone in a cruel and lonely world.

its okay to be a fucking mess, if you can take time out please do. i wish this world allowed more of that. after my mum everyone had to go back to jobs and life and it still blows my mind that i was walking down the street then and today and everything was the same. the world should pause but it doesn't.

at the end of all of this, one day this might settle and make sense but right now it doesnt at all and thats how these things work. i love you all, this is not something i thought we would have to face until we had all grown old and spent all of our money on reunion tickets and seen our boys grow old and live their lives.

give people you love a hug, tell people you love that you care about them, work out problems and differences if you can and make the most of it. you never know how much time you have.

my personification of sally came to me a long time ago in the form of short glimpses of the future…. i didnt care for her much and actually felt irritated at her character 😅i hated her pop singer gimmick and wanted to transform her into something different for fun, like a complete switch of musical genres just to see how i’d feel with the design transformation. thats where it ended for a long time, i didnt add any personality other then her thinking shes hot shit when shes really just a weird kid teenager finding her place in life. just a random redesign for fun one day when i was bored in class.

but recently (a couple weeks ago idk) in the middle of the night, me and coasty randomly thought of a what if; “what if sally had a funny parasocial attachment to nya and harumi.. especially harumi.” i usually sit on my headcanons and “what ifs” for a couple weeks/months before telling coast, then my little space on the internet .. but this time i wasted no time and drew sally fangirling over nyas punk riot grrrlness lololol

to me, my interpretation of sally is lighthearted and not meant to be taken too seriously. just a girl who’s finding her identity, and has the money (and the compulsions.. and graying moral compass bc a main joke of hers is buying fast fashion and switching “aesthetics” often) to mess around, also with a taste for chasing fame as a small musical artist ^^

sally admires harumi and nya because of their respective coolness and the fact that both of them are sorta celebrity figures who are constantly surveillanced and their every action is presumed and thought upon. sally just longs to be just like the cool girls she sees on tv — she doesnt actually know who they are as people, she only knows them as the water ninja and the quiet one..the idealized and shown parts of themselves on tv. also, sally just thinks harumi’s documented plight as the jade princess turned evil is #relatable (when the worst sally has ever done is run away from her parents to pursue singing)

like i said.. sallys supposed to be a lighthearted joke character to me, like somebody on tiktok who is really invested in subgenres/cultures like punk, but don’t actually take the time to know the history and commit to what it means to be that subculture.

Something that i find really funny about the Vivziepop fandom, is that they baby her and her actions, and get mad at people who doesnt.

I once saw this post on twitter from a fan bitching about how they had to take away their like in a post of redesigns of the Hazbin characters, because they discovered that the artist who did these "was a Vivzie anti". They went on a rant about how people shouldnt shit on Vivziepop's designs because "why do you have to bring down another artist's work? We artists should stick together and support each other!".

Okay, first, the "artists should support each other! 💖" doesnt apply to "artists" that are terrible fucking people, just like Vivzie. They dont deserve support, especially because they use said support and fame to hurts others, period.

Second, is it just me or Vivzie defenders live in a completely different world from us? Because by the way they treat and talk about Vivziepop and her "getting attacked" (aka, facing the the consequences of her actions) by others, they seem to think she is some 14yo who does nothing but post her OCs on Deviantart and need proctection from the "antis" because she will quit art if she gets more than 5 mean comments on her South Park fanfic.

But, newsflash for those people, she isnt.

She is a grown ass woman, who's making a shit ton of money from making not one, but two cartoons about her ugly OCs by abusing and overworking her workers and producers, and internet criticism couldnt affect her career at all anymore.

The only reason hy she would been affect in any way by stranger's criticism, is because she is a huge baby with a fragile ego who throws a big fit on Twitter dot com every time she sees that people have enough braincells to see that her shows arent the masterpiece she thinks it is.

helloo.... garden of eden posting.... vkei band that mostly plays vocarock and metal (i dont really know specific genres Heart emoji.) very much inspired by leia by yuyoyuppe I LOVE LEIA.

they don't really shoot for a huge goal like the other units they are all learning to love playing music for themselves and not for fame or whatever. they play together just for the sake of it ^_^ ive posted everyones profiles but here are their ref sheets

as for story ......... idrk how to summarize their story on a surface level WHAHA . ruri is a vocaP and recruits the others to form a band for fun. tsubaki is her childhood friend, sumire is a huge fan of her music and brings kanna along (BAD IDEA) 99% of the problems in the band are caused by kanna arguing with everyone over nothing

at first the focus is on tsubaki and the others helping her search for her true passion before she graduates. she joins the band to spend time with ruri, she doesn't actually gaf about music (she doesnt gaf about anything) but slowly learns to love it and enjoy being in the band.

everyone else has their arcs, kanna is very annoying and pretentious and wants to be popular while the other three are like "hey man. maybe being in a band isnt all about fame ^_^;;" sumire is a total beginner at music and is seen as "weird" but finds friends who accept her, ruri arc happens much later cuz everyone else is just learning things she already knew. but she learns to be more honest with everyone.

basically they all join for superficial reasons and eventually learn to really truly love music ^_^ also the sekai is haunted mansion ish and the vocaloids are all ghosts Here is miku and flower probably. i am very indecisive on how they will look

mae valentine : most terrifying woman youll ever meet except shes a pathetic mess but she is still very much the most terrifying woman youll ever meet dont misunderstand . the concept for her character was "subverted girlboss trope" ; shes been moulded into the image of a callous violent uncaring woman and she wants to keep it that way . thats who she is . totally . she has to be this infallible fighter , because otherwise shes a lonely scared girl who doesnt know who she is . she hates herself , hates hurting her loved ones and innocents . she doesnt have to dig herself into this horribly spiky hole that harms everyone who goes near but she does . her journey isnt about finding who she is but starting the journey of finding who she is , opening the tiniest of wounds in herself to let in discovery

FOR TANG, okay so tang, finally feeling important and famous for once, feels almost entitled to keep people cheering for him, forcing himself to help anyone he can, just like MK can. he finds himself becoming tuckered out, wondering if feeling important is really what he wanted.

(for my freenoodles homies, i can imagine that tang never really wanted to be famous but wanted to be loved, by PIGSY SPECIFICALLY OFC, but pigsy being busy cant spend time with tang, so on and so forth)

MK MEANWHILE, is trying his best to not be in the spotlight and tries to live a more secluded life, especially with his monkey form being just around the corner??

FOR MEI, i'de like to think that while she enjoys the fame, she can't help but feel split about MK not liking the attention, but man, she sometimes just cant help but spend a little self-indulgent time to just show off to everyone and be praised.

i think it's a little bit dangerous to imply that caiti wanted to sleep with certain people as a career boost, especially when she talked about being inexperienced and nervous/wary about sex. even more so when she apparently considered georges actions to be something sexual when objectively they really weren't. it doesnt feel right to me to demonize women for being attracted to dream or george in the same way i don't like dream and george being demonized for being attracted to women. it feels a little misogynistic to think caiti wanted to sleep with george for content reasons when no one from the group ever publically associated with them before or after this party.

Okay this is fair and I don't think caiti was intending to sleep with them for clout or anything like that. However she did imply in her twitter statements that she was willing to do A Lot to be around big creators and she was very focused on george's fame and status so I really think she needs to reevaluate her priorities because she clearly didn't have the right ones going into that night.

BASICALLY tldr its mtmb if it fit into the lm universe, so imagine alice's mansion with minibosses and keys etc, except theres parts where youd play as mario trying to find out how to beat alice while luigi tries to catch up to them. AKA mtmb if it was tamer and under nintendos watch (mostly)

now the longer explanation. like a step by step of the plot in my brain:

lm mtmb is, as mentioned, an au i guess? of mtmb where the initial concept of 'mansion with ghost in a music box who possesses mario', except with far less dark themes to keep in the 'vibe' of the luigis mansion games. mario finds the music box, winds it up (because he's the first to die in any horror movie ever), accidentally releases alice who is incidentally connected to him since hes the one who released her (though partially). more explanation to the connection to mario later

so alice freaks out after being free, realizes mario essentially has her cage in his grasp, queue chase scene up to the second floor, at which she catches him and realizes she can possess him and break the music box to free herself. she realizes the music box is basically indestructible, and after some contemplation realizes she can use it to trap others instead of herself. and even better AGAIN, having possessed mario she can see through his memories vaguely and realizes hes got connections to a princess!! and she LOVES a lavish life. so she decides not only does she want to be free, she wants to use marios body to escape the mansion, overthrow the mushroom kingdom, and reign as queen so she can basically be pampered and spoiled.

she can only possess mario and/or be out of the music box for a short amount of time, and then will need to sing/play the music box from within it, in order to 'recharge'. this often gives marios location away when hes hiding from alice's minions, the other ghosts in the mansion. mario's half of the story relies on a run and hide and dodge kind of gameplay rather than luigi's usual attack head-on gameplay in lm games.

then luigi is sent over because the mushroom kingdom realizes they sent the guy who got captured by ghosts several times over to an abandoned mansion, and yes, luigi brings the poltergeist. he goes through a normal lm first floor experience, then when he gets to f2 he confronts alice who is in the midst of possessing mario. luigi is unable to use his poltergeist on alice in time before she sends ghosts to stall luigi while she runs forward in the mansion, and this routine continues through the story.

mario works on hiding from ghosts and researching the music box through the house much like in the original game, and luigi works on making his way through alice's forces and catching up with them. alice is desperately trying to find out how she can reverse the music box and use it to trap others whenever she can possess mario or just appear outside the box.

final battle is on the roof, alice reveals that shes possessing mario to luigis complete LACK of surprise. the glowing eyes and mouth gave it away, alice. luigi has to dodge beams of music from the box, as well as avoid damaging mario when alice hops out of his body. a very precision based boss fight, id like to imagine

at the end of the day, luigi weakens alice enough to grab the music box and seal her back inside of it, then settles to take it to egadd for safe-keeping so some guy doesnt. idk.. wind up a creepy music box in a lone room without reason. who who do that right mario. Mario

as for alice's backstory, she was wealthy and from a noble family, but not necessarily royalty. and she loved to sing! but when she moved into her new mansion, it ended up being haunted, primarily by riba. riba complimented her voice and promised to immortalize her in music forever, which alice took to a promise of fame, and happily followed rita's plans, only to realize he was leading her into a trap.

riba traps alice's spirit in the music box, taking 'immortalizing in music' quite literally, and then possesses her empty body and runs off- they never see each other again.

riba mainly has a small part in the story because i feel like he never fit in too well with mtmb to begin with?? like hes an immortal demon or whatever but also marios gay lover???? something something chicken farm IDK. i feel like he serves better as a vague villain that was the catalyst to the current villain u know?

And for Olly's Quest for Fame... i feel like one things clear;

He definitely has some childhood trauma going on.

Him being sensitive about the hate comments, causing him to believe what they're saying about him, and doing what they say and getting and causing him to be more obsessed with everything.

I think he might've been bullied as a kid. I said this before but in this world if your a guy who's passion is clothing and fashion or something un-man like, you get called things (cough looking at you insta comments cough). I also feel like he might've not had as much money growing up; like his family was lower middle class at best, so that might be why Olly was so... controlling? Obsessive? About money and fame.

For his craving for fame, money, being recognized; him being bullied (troll comments), money (not having a lot growing up, his parents having trouble with money), and him wanting to be seen. He wants people to know what he's doing, that's he's doing something important something that people love and admire him for. Something I doubt he got as a child.

And for the way he's treating Paisley... it's obvious that he doesn't mean too. He never, ever, EVER will hurt Paisley on purpose, and we all know that. He's just blinded by the thought of finally being seen to realize that Paisley doesnt want to do any of it...

Another thing I was to talk about what he said; "My outfits are my identity!" That's not just something you just say, without any meaning. Designing outfits is his passion, one of the things he's loved all his life, and something thats always been there for him. And if what I said about his childhood is true, he's probably feeling very provoked and insecure about himself now, and he feels like he needs to be better.

Not saying this excuses how he's treating Paisley; Heck, I love love Paisley but she herself has to try and speak up to Olly but she's afraid she's going to lose him. And Olly thinks he's helping Paisley do what she loves, but he's gotten caught up in it with himself and now he can't see what's right in front of him.

On a different note; ZAC. This dude has come a long way from the first episode. He's literally AMAZING. His character development>>>>>>>>>>>> He's being such a good friend to Paisley, and they're friendship is so pure and kind <3 (but it better stay platonic, lego. gimme some friendship that stay friendships!!)

Also Aliya and Liann now know who Ley-La is!! I dunno if this is good or bad-

Olly's talk with Zac and then Aliya, I feel like this proves that he has something internal monsters to deal with but instead is projecting them onto the whole Ley-La thing.

But thats it. I NEEEEEEED Olly to apologize to Paisley and for him to see his mistakes; it better be REALLY good Lego, and it better be one of the BEST character arcs of all time.
