I saw a post about whether Tim could help or just watch Bernard when he cooks, but I offer this...

Tim "Baking is a Science" Drake and Bernard "Cooking is an Art" Dowd. STAY WITH ME

in Special Delivery (DC Pride 2022), Tim bakes Bernard a "happy first pride" cake, and while yes, cakes are not notoriously difficult to bake, it would make sense that he's more of a baker.

Instead of both of them excelling at their respective food craft and absolutely sucking at the other, I think they just have a knack for it that the other can't emulate, which makes it more special.

Sure, Tim can cook a couple of meals, but he can't make such comforting and complex flavors with spices and fresh ingredients like Bernard can.

And Bernard admires how Tim can follow recipes so well and how anything he bakes always has the perfect, most ideal texture. (Bonus if they spend evenings decorating together!!)

like that's a bombass cake with tiers and buttercream frosting and it looks moist but it's still sturdy (considering everything that cake went through) my man can BAKE

My Haikyuu HC for the no good very bad year of 2020 is that since Kageyama went pro right out of High School and didn’t even have online college classes to attend, he was not just unemployed but also bored out of his mind and lonely as shit because his bae was quarantined in fucking Brazil. And he doesn’t call up Yachi to vent about it because that’s not something he’d do, but he does end up on a video call with her through LINE eventually and she’s like, “Yeah, I’m also kind of on my own right now, I’m in my own apartment near campus,” and one thing leads to another and he ends up just kind of. living with her for the next year and a half.

And it’s still a little lonely and stressful cause the year is 2020 and absolutely nobody, not even fictional characters, had a good time, but they at least got to experience a bit of platonically domestic bliss, and come 2021 Yachi has had to replace a couple lamps due to stray volleyballs but she can at least say she has a pretty good receive.
