Pacific Rim Is Stomping Onto TV With New Prequel Series
Tumblr media
An 'origin story' series for Legendary's giant mecha franchise is part of a new TV deal between the studio and Eric Heisserer.
By James Whitbrook [gizmodo.com]
The world of Pacific Rim is making a giant-robot-legged leap to the small screen. Variety reports that Legendary Entertainment and Shadow and Bone‘s Eric Heisserer are teaming up on a new TV series set in the world of the kaiju-vs-mecha franchise.
“We are thrilled to launch our partnership with Eric, Chronology, and Carmen [Lewis, co-founder of production company Chronology], with a new entry in the epic, globally popular Pacific Rim universe,” Jason Clodfelter, president of Legendary Television, said in a statement provided to Variety. “We are certain their vision will make for an enthralling expansion to Legendary’s beloved franchise.”
The Pacific Rim series will be the first in Chronology’s first-look TV deal with Legendary, designed to “develop and shepherd IP-driven and related projects” for the studio, according to Variety.
Little was revealed about the series, other than that it will act as an “origin story” for the franchise. Set in a near future where much of the world has been devastated by the emergence of giant monsters called Kaiju—flooding into the world via an interdimensional rift discovered in the Pacific Ocean—Pacific Rim follows the establishment of the “Jaeger Program,” an international military force that develops giant robots operated by multiple pilots with their minds synced together. The first Pacific Rim movie launched in 2013, and was followed by a maligned sequel, Uprising, in 2018, but the franchise has flourished beyond the box office since, with the Netflix anime Pacific Rim: The Black and several comic series.
Whether or not the series will cover the early days of Kaiju-kind’s appearance on earth, or the development of the Jaegers and their initial battles against the monsters, remains to be seen. But if Monarch: Legacy of Monsters proved you could do the kind of scale and scope of Legendary’s other big monster series, Godzilla, on a streaming series budget, then maybe there’s hope for a lot of fun monster and robot action here, too.

Recap: SEGA and Rovio still in the “dating” process, SEGA exec says at RovioCon 2023
Tumblr media
SEGA's transmedia president Shuji Utsumi took to the stage at RovioCon, a gathering for all Rovio developers and partners in Helsinki, Finland, and gave hints on SEGA and Rovio’s future collaboration plans.
He was approached with the idea of future Angry Birds and Sonic crossovers, a detail sure to fuel fan speculation; and revealed SEGA's ambition to offer more on game subscription services like Apple Arcade, even though Sonic Dream Team’s Apple Arcade exclusivity was not positively received by some fans.
Future crossovers
Utsumi was asked about a possible crossover between Sonic the Hedgehog and Angry Birds, SEGA and Rovio’s biggest franchises. While not giving a specific answer, he joked that the two companies were still “dating”, with the comment being met with laughs from the audience.
Tumblr media
Longtime fans of the Sonic franchise might remember a past Angry Birds crossover, namely the Sonic Dash and Angry Birds Epic crossover event from 2015. Utsumi also revealed that SEGA and Rovio were working together to produce new animated projects for Angry Birds, and to bring future Rovio games to PC and consoles.
Transmedia ambitions
Referencing the success of the Sonic movies, Utsumi reaffirmed SEGA’s ambition towards bringing it and Rovio’s franchises out of the gaming sphere, adding that the company was “deeply committed to Angry Birds animated projects in the future”.
SEGA has a strong portfolio of numerous IPs and characters which become much more attractive by welcoming the Angry Birds IP. To maximize the value of these great IPs we have implemented a transmedia strategy which comprehensively approaches a global fanbase through digital and also physical channels.
Moving towards mobile and other game platforms
Currently, SEGA and Rovio have been working on new mobile game projects based on [each companies’] own IP…but Sonic is not the only IP [that could] benefit from the mobile platform expansion. It will be a potential strong tailwind for other key SEGA IP such as Yakuza and Persona.
While SEGA’s console and PC games will still be here to stay, Utsumi commented that mobile was a “massive platform” for the company, with SEGA looking to leverage Rovio’s talent to bring its franchises into the mobile gaming scene.
Utsumi also commented that SEGA would be putting out more offerings on subscription-based game services like Apple Arcade and Netflix Games, and on creation platforms like Roblox.
The metaverse & SEGA’s Super Game
Utsumi briefly talked about SEGA’s Super Game initiative at the RovioCon panel, revealing that it could take the shape of a platform where players can play and communicate with each other, possibly in a way similar to the Roblox platform.

so I finished watching the netflix three body problem show over the weekend, I've only read the first two books so far so this is from the point of view of a partial book reader. That and coming from the point of view of a book fan who thought d&d did a horrible job of adapting a song of ice and fire into the GOT show. While it had some great moments through out and some changes did make for a better viewing experience over all I think they were just so interested in the big moments and made changes to make things easier for them rather than what narratively and thematically worked for the characters and the series as a whole.
The remembrance of earth's past trilogy unlike asoiaf series is not character focused at all each book has new characters each book, while there is cross over of characters its not like huge expansive character arcs. The series is far more interested in the science and the ideas being expressed. the science is complicated and the books take their time to explain them so that a non science person can understand them in a full more complex way.
This show on the other hand is far more interested in these characters they create called the oxford 5. These characters are meant to be the protagonists of the different books in the series. The issue is that to develop them and their relationships we are focused more on them than the actual plot of the show and the science of what's going on. I have no idea what they will do with book 2 seeing how crazy and different that book is than book 1. it has so much going on and there isn't much time to explore other characters that aren't in that book itself unless they want to cut storylines.
Another issue to bring up is changing it from China to England. I saw an interview where they said they talked with them and he said to make it they probably would have to make it a more global story and change the genders of some characters. While I don't have any issue with that but they do keep one character Chinese and they really change her and her story despite it being the start of the whole series. She's no longer the character she was in the book. The books are rather bleak and look at this whole situation as dark and scary. This show is more interested in compassion and love which is fine but why adapt this series then.
I've seen a lot of praise for this series so i'm in the minority here so I have to imagine we will get the rest of the series and there's some crazy moments I'll be interested to see how they do. I'm going to read the third book then watch the Chinese show which is apparently more book accurate but lower budget.

Netflix Subscription BD: A New Era for Streaming in Bangladesh
In recent years, the global entertainment landscape has undergone a significant transformation, largely driven by the rise of streaming services. Among the various platforms that have captured the world's attention, Netflix stands out as a leader. This article delves into the specifics of Netflix Subscription BD, examining its impact on the Bangladeshi market and highlighting the role of local facilitators like Amader Cart in enhancing the streaming experience.
Tumblr media
The Rise of Netflix in Bangladesh
Netflix's global expansion strategy has been remarkably successful, and Bangladesh is no exception. With a growing middle class, increasing internet penetration, and a youthful population keen on digital entertainment, Bangladesh presents a fertile ground for streaming services. Since its launch in Bangladesh, Netflix has attracted a substantial number of subscribers, drawn by its vast library of content, including movies, TV shows, documentaries, and original productions.
Factors Driving Netflix's Popularity in Bangladesh
Content Variety: One of Netflix's biggest draws is its diverse content library. From Hollywood blockbusters and critically acclaimed TV series to niche documentaries and local films, Netflix offers something for everyone. This variety appeals to Bangladeshi audiences with varied tastes and preferences.
Original Productions: Netflix Originals, such as "Stranger Things," "The Crown," and "Money Heist," have garnered a global following. These high-quality productions attract Bangladeshi viewers looking for exclusive content that is not available on other platforms.
User-Friendly Interface: Netflix's intuitive interface, personalized recommendations, and multi-device compatibility make it a preferred choice for users seeking a seamless viewing experience.
Affordable Pricing Plans: Recognizing the price sensitivity of the Bangladeshi market, Netflix offers a range of subscription plans to cater to different budgets. This flexibility makes it easier for a broader audience to access the platform.
Challenges and Solutions in the Bangladeshi Market
Despite its popularity, Netflix faces certain challenges in Bangladesh. These include payment method limitations, competition from local streaming services, and internet connectivity issues. However, innovative solutions have emerged to address these challenges.
Payment Solutions: The Role of Amader Cart
One of the primary obstacles for Bangladeshi consumers has been the limited availability of international payment methods. Many potential subscribers do not possess credit or debit cards that are accepted for Netflix subscriptions. This is where Amader Cart comes into play.
Amader Cart is a local service provider that facilitates the purchase of Netflix subscriptions using local payment methods. By allowing payments through bKash, Rocket, and other popular mobile financial services in Bangladesh, Amader Cart has made it significantly easier for consumers to subscribe to Netflix. This convenience has been a game-changer, expanding access to Netflix for a wider audience.
Amader Cart: Bridging the Gap
Amader Cart has positioned itself as a crucial intermediary, helping to bridge the gap between Netflix and Bangladeshi consumers. By offering a hassle-free payment solution, Amader Cart ensures that users can enjoy uninterrupted streaming without worrying about payment issues. Their service is not limited to Netflix alone; they also facilitate subscriptions to other global streaming services, thereby enriching the digital entertainment ecosystem in Bangladesh.
How Amader Cart Works
Easy Subscription Process: Users visit the Amader Cart website or app, select the desired Netflix subscription plan, and choose their preferred local payment method.
Payment Confirmation: Once the payment is made, Amader Cart processes the transaction and activates the Netflix account.
Customer Support: Amader Cart provides customer support to assist with any issues related to subscriptions, ensuring a smooth user experience.
The Future of Streaming in Bangladesh
As internet infrastructure continues to improve and more people gain access to affordable smartphones and data plans, the demand for streaming services in Bangladesh is expected to grow. Netflix, with its strong brand presence and extensive content library, is well-positioned to capitalize on this growth. However, local competitors and emerging platforms will keep the market dynamic and competitive.
Impact on Local Content Production
The popularity of Netflix in Bangladesh also has implications for the local entertainment industry. The platform’s success has encouraged local filmmakers and producers to create high-quality content that can appeal to both domestic and international audiences. Netflix's interest in acquiring and producing local content can provide a significant boost to the Bangladeshi film and TV industry, fostering creativity and innovation.
Conclusion
Netflix Subscription BD represents more than just access to a streaming service; it signifies a shift in how Bangladeshis consume entertainment. The collaboration between Netflix and local facilitators like Amader Cart has democratized access to high-quality content, making it easier for people across the country to enjoy global and local productions. As the market evolves, Netflix's ability to adapt to local needs and preferences will be crucial in maintaining its leadership position. With the continued support of services like Amader Cart, the future of streaming in Bangladesh looks promising, offering endless possibilities for viewers and content creators alike.
Exploring the Netflix Subscription BD Ecosystem
To understand the full impact of Netflix Subscription BD, it’s essential to explore the broader ecosystem that supports this service in Bangladesh. This includes the role of telecommunications companies, internet service providers (ISPs), and government initiatives aimed at boosting digital infrastructure.
Telecommunications and ISPs
Telecommunications companies and ISPs play a vital role in ensuring that Netflix can reach its audience in Bangladesh. With the advent of 4G and the anticipated rollout of 5G technology, streaming high-definition content is becoming more feasible. Major ISPs in Bangladesh, such as Grameenphone, Robi, and Banglalink, are continuously upgrading their networks to provide faster and more reliable internet services, which are crucial for an optimal streaming experience.
Government Initiatives
The Bangladeshi government has been proactive in enhancing the country’s digital landscape through various initiatives. The "Digital Bangladesh" vision aims to transform Bangladesh into a technologically advanced nation by promoting digital literacy and expanding internet access. These efforts are instrumental in creating an environment where streaming services like Netflix can thrive.
Content Localization and Cultural Relevance
For Netflix to maintain its growth trajectory in Bangladesh, content localization and cultural relevance are key. Understanding the preferences of Bangladeshi viewers and curating content that resonates with them is crucial. This includes not only dubbing and subtitling international content in Bengali but also investing in original local productions.
Netflix Originals in Bangladesh
Netflix has already started exploring the potential of local content in various countries, and Bangladesh is on its radar. By partnering with local filmmakers and producers, Netflix can create original content that reflects the unique cultural and social dynamics of Bangladesh. Such initiatives not only cater to local tastes but also provide a platform for Bangladeshi stories to reach a global audience.
The Competitive Landscape
While Netflix is a dominant player in the global streaming market, it faces competition from both international and local platforms in Bangladesh. Competitors like Amazon Prime Video, Disney+, and local services such as Hoichoi and Bioscope offer alternative streaming options.
Hoichoi and Bioscope
Hoichoi, for example, focuses on Bengali content, making it a popular choice among viewers looking for regional entertainment. Bioscope, another local platform, offers a mix of live TV, movies, and original web series, catering to diverse tastes. These platforms often emphasize local content, providing strong competition to Netflix.
The Role of Social Media and Influencers
Social media platforms and influencers have a significant impact on the popularity of streaming services. In Bangladesh, influencers play a crucial role in shaping consumer preferences and driving subscription growth. By leveraging social media marketing and collaborations with local influencers, Netflix can enhance its visibility and appeal to a broader audience.
Effective Social Media Strategies
Engaging Content: Creating engaging content that resonates with local audiences is essential. This includes sharing trailers, behind-the-scenes footage, and interviews with actors and creators.
Influencer Partnerships: Collaborating with popular Bangladeshi influencers and celebrities can help Netflix reach potential subscribers more effectively. Influencers can create buzz around new releases and share personal recommendations, making the service more relatable.
Interactive Campaigns: Running interactive campaigns, such as online contests and live Q&A sessions, can boost engagement and foster a sense of community among subscribers.
Conclusion: A Bright Future for Netflix in Bangladesh
Netflix Subscription BD has opened up a world of entertainment possibilities for Bangladeshi viewers. The combination of diverse content, affordable pricing, and local payment solutions provided by Amader Cart has made Netflix an accessible and attractive option for many. As the streaming landscape continues to evolve, Netflix's ability to adapt to local preferences and collaborate with key players in the ecosystem will be critical to its success.
The future of streaming in Bangladesh looks bright, with Netflix poised to play a central role in shaping the country's digital entertainment landscape. By continuing to innovate and invest in local content, Netflix can not only maintain its leadership position but also contribute to the growth and development of the Bangladeshi entertainment industry. With the support of local facilitators like Amader Cart and the ongoing improvement of digital infrastructure, the journey of Netflix in Bangladesh is set to be an exciting one, promising endless entertainment for viewers across the country.

Warner Bros. Discovery is to significantly expand its investment and production of Japanese anime through its existing local studio in Japan.
“We have a Japanese anime studio, which has been producing five or ten anime series per year, over the last few years,” said James Gibbons, WBD president of Asia-Pacific. “We’ve approved expansion to take that to more than ten series per year.”
The studio has been operational since 2011 and delivered over 80 titles in that span, a mix of high-quality anime, live action series and movies. These include “JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure,” which was originally serialized in a manga magazine starting in 1987 and became an animated series that launched in 2012, the “Record of Ragnarok” series and a “Batman Ninja” anime movie.
“We’ve sold them to third parties. That has been one of the metrics. And they are doing very well,” said Gibbons. “And, so, because we see the appeal of the category, we are expanding it. Anime is one of the best ways to reach the 18 to 30-year-old audience, which is incredibly elusive. Globally, albeit not in every market, but certainly in the U.S., parts of Europe and Latin America, we’ve got strong anime audiences.”
Both “JoJo’s” and “Record of Ragnarok” are currently on Netflix and have ranked strongly, featuring in the streamer’s global weekly top ten.
“There is Japanese anime that comes from original IP. But there’s also anime that comes from elsewhere. And we’ve looked at our DC universe and said, ‘Can we take these characters and reinvent them in world of world of anime,’ which is not straightforward because you have to do it the right way. You have to work with the right studios to make it happen and to build your fan base,” said Gibbons.

CBS today announced a straight to series drama order for NCIS: ORIGINS for the 2024-2025 broadcast season from CBS Studios.
NCIS: ORIGINS begins in 1991, years prior to the events of NCIS and follows a young Leroy Jethro Gibbs, narrated by Mark Harmon. In the series, Gibbs starts his career as a newly minted special agent at the fledgling NCIS Camp Pendleton office where he forges his place on a gritty, ragtag team led by NCIS legend Mike Franks.
“We are elated and honored to continue the expansion of the NCIS universe in such a unique and unexpected way,” said Amy Reisenbach, president of CBS Entertainment. “Viewers can look forward to Mark Harmon returning to CBS to narrate the complex and mysterious backstory of Leroy Jethro Gibbs’ early years in NCIS: ORIGINS, which will build on the rich legacy of this character while reintroducing fan-favorite characters and meeting new ones.”
“There’s no denying the cultural and global phenomenon of the NCIS franchise for the last 20 years,” said David Stapf, president of CBS Studios. “When Sean and Mark approached us all with this exciting expansion of the universe – exploring a young Gibbs – we knew it was the next story that needed to be told. We also couldn’t be luckier to have Gina and David at the helm as co-showrunners who are not only brilliant and adept writers, but know this character and universe so well.”
“We’re thrilled to be bringing this new chapter to life along with Mark and Sean Harmon,” said executive producers and co-showrunners Gina Lucita Monreal and David J. North. “This really is the making of Leroy Jethro Gibbs. And even the most dedicated NCIS fans will discover that they don’t know the whole story.”
“The character of Gibbs has been an important part of my life for 20 years, both in watching my father craft the role and previously having the honor to play young Gibbs myself,” added executive producer Sean Harmon. “I always felt there was a tale worth telling about his earlier years, so I am thrilled to be stepping into a producing role alongside Gina, David and my dad as we tell this story and reveal a new side of this beloved character.”
NCIS: ORIGINS is produced by CBS Studios. Mark Harmon, Sean Harmon, David J. North and Gina Lucita Monreal will executive produce, with North and Monreal co-writing the premiere episode and serving as co-showrunners.
The series will reunite North and Monreal, who both wrote on NCIS for 10 years. North is currently co-showrunner and executive producer on NCIS. In addition to NCIS, Monreal’s credits include Netflix’s “Griselda,” “Star Wars: The Bad Batch” and the upcoming Dan Fogleman/Sterling K. Brown project for Hulu.
NCIS is the world’s most successful television franchise, and it is estimated that in the 2022-2023 TV season the franchise had over 300 million viewers around the world across all platforms including broadcast, cable, streaming and syndication (according to Nielsen and internal data).

"Unveiling the Unstoppable Surge of TikTok: How This Global Phenomenon is Revolutionizing Social Media, Commerce, and Beyond!"
Diving Deep into TikTok's Unstoppable Revolution: Witnessing the Phenomenon That's Reshaping Social Media, Commerce, and More - A Must-Read Journey! TikTok's meteoric rise is not only reshaping the landscape of social media, but it's also ushering in profound cross-industry effects that extend into e-commerce, digital advertising, and payments, among other areas. Let's delve into this transformative phenomenon.
Initially introduced as Douyin by ByteDance in 2016, TikTok made its global debut in 2018 and has since established a presence in 154 countries, reaching a remarkable milestone of 1 billion users faster than any other social platform.
At its core, TikTok's success is rooted in simplicity: a video-sharing app that empowers users to effortlessly create and share short videos. Its standout feature, however, lies in its algorithmic prowess, which rapidly curates videos from its expansive database based on user preferences. Unlike conventional platforms, TikTok doesn't rely on established networks for virality, allowing anyone to achieve global recognition without an extensive follower count.
Statistics underscore TikTok's influence, with users dedicating an average of over 1.5 hours to the platform, primarily comprising Generation Z (individuals born between the late 1990s and early 2000s). In the #US, TikTok has become the premier video destination, outshining its social media counterparts. The emulation of TikTok's model by industry giants such as #Meta, #YouTube, #Pinterest, and Netflix is a testament to its disruptive impact.
Expanding beyond its humorous video content, TikTok is instigating paradigm shifts in various sectors. Notably, within digital advertising, projections indicate a substantial leap in TikTok's ad revenues, soaring from $13 billion in 2022 to $44 billion by 2027. Concurrently, TikTok Douyin's revenue in China is predicted to rise from $28 billion to $76 billion. By 2027, global online video advertising is set to generate over $331 billion, with TikTok commanding 37% of these earnings, equivalent to $120 billion. In comparison, the combined presence of YouTube and Meta is estimated at 24% or $77 billion.
On the e-commerce frontier, TikTok's foray into live shops embedded within user profiles (deployed in regions like the #UK, Southeast #Asia, and the US) enables in-app purchases, potentially paving the way for live-stream shopping to become a pivotal e-commerce trend. In #China, TikTok's direct in-app sales are substantially challenging established e-commerce titans like JD and Alibaba. Douyin's strategic focus on "interest e-commerce," driven by users' passions, signifies a multidimensional approach to consumer engagement encompassing short videos, livestreams, and searches.
This seismic shift reminds us that the world is evolving rapidly, surpassing some in its velocity of change.
Join me in uncovering the seismic shifts powered by socialmedia- from reshaping social landscapes to igniting a commerce evolution. Let’s ride this wave of transformation together! Don’t miss out – hit that follow button for more captivating insights. 🚀🔥

I wish AMC had been able to be sold to a larger company. They would have been able to afford any negotiations or pay bump issues. Just speaking hypothetically.
I don't think the problem is that simple. If they simply let a larger company to acquire them, it raises the question on how far the creativity they would still have. Because lbr AMC has a lot of guts to buy rights to Anne's books in an age where media gets so sanitized. And looking at the current larger companies, I don't think they'd give AMC that much freedom.
Jumping from one Wiki page from another, i think AMC is struggling because they're not focus. they literally have eight streaming services right now, more than the number of tv channels they have. which is insane because even Disney only have four. They should trim them, making sure each service has their own unique contents and good UI. That would cut their cost a lot.
Then idk make a division that handles the distribution rights of their contents globally then sell those rights to the existing global streaming platform. They're so stubborn to depend on AMC+'s global expansion right now but it's biting them back because there's barely any expansion happening in the last 2-3 years. lbr offering AMC+ as an additional channel on another streaming service doesn't look that enticing to the customer. i had to really convince my friend to watch IWTV because in her country, she needed to pay more on top of her usual subscription. AMC already has history with Breaking Bad where the rating improved a lot after the show made available on Netflix. i thought they learnt something from that.
So, yeah trim the services, make the contents more accessible to get more money, and focus on the quality of the contents

DC Announces Batman: Wayne Family Adventures Vol. 1, Vixen: NYC Vol. 1, and Zatanna & the Ripper Vol. 1 to Be Available in Print Fall 2023
DC today revealed the expansion of its creative partnership with WEBTOON, the world’s largest digital comics platform, into the global book market beginning in fall 2023. Batman: Wayne Family Adventures Vol. 1 and Vixen: NYC Vol. 1 will go to print and be available wherever books are sold in August, and Zatanna & The Ripper Vol. 1 will hit shelves in October, introducing a new audience of comics fans to the DC Universe and DC’s iconic characters.
Tumblr media
“Fans can’t get enough of our DC and WEBTOON content,” said Anne DePies, DC’s senior vice president and general manager, “and expanding DC’s creative partnership with WEBTOON into print with books like Batman: Wayne Family Adventures reflects this demand. Each page of these new volumes is meticulously reproduced to be read seamlessly in book narrative format. DC’s continuing partnership with WEBTOON combines legendary franchises with new technologies and global fandoms, and we can’t wait to get these new print editions into your hands.”
“We’re immensely proud of the stories we’ve been able to tell with DC and thrilled to bring these narratives to bookshelves,” said David Lee, VP of content at WEBTOON. “The creative teams behind these series have given fans fresh takes on legendary DC characters, and we’re excited to give WEBTOON and DC fans a new way to enjoy these titles.”
The smash-hit collaboration between DC and WEBTOON began with Batman: Wayne Family Adventures in September 2021. Netflix Games' Geeked Week 2024 brings Civilization VI, Street Fighter IV and Rebel Moon to mobile - Information Global Internet - BLOGGER https://www.merchant-business.com/netflix-games-geeked-week-2024-brings-civilization-vi-street-fighter-iv-and-rebel-moon-to-mobile/?feed_id=205679&_unique_id=66ed3d2109a8b NewsSome major names are coming to the service Netflix Geeked Week 2024 has wrapped, but what can you expect to come to mobile?Well, quite a lot actually!Classics like Street Fighter IV, Civilization VI Rebel Moon and more! With Netflix Geeked Week 2024 wrapping up, it was only a matter of time before their Games catalogue took centre stage. And what a show it was! We’ve got all the news here on what’s coming to Netflix Games, so read on and dig in!There are several major names that you may already know are coming to the Netflix Games service. There’s the addition of a new Battleship game, Monument Valley 1 (out now) and 3 already on the way, alongside more footage of Squid Game: Unleashed. But that’s not even close to all, and there are also three major names being added.Blood Line: A Rebel Moon Game: Set in the universe of Zack Snyder’s own brainchild, this four-player co-op game is a major new addition to the lineup of Netflix’s catalogue, developed by Super Evil Megacorp.Civilization VI: This should need little introduction, as this is the most recent entry in Sid Meier’s ongoing 4x franchise that takes you from the dawn of civilization through to the space age. This release of Civ VI fixes one crucial issue with the previous mobile release, however, as it includes all expansion packs and content included with the Platinum edition of the game, no additional purchases are needed!Street Fighter IV: For those fighting game fans out there, this will be the biggest news. We’ve already seen surprising releases like SNK’s Samurai Shodown, but Street Fighter IV is an absolute classic of the genre for many reasons, and this release includes all 32 fighters, as well as crossplay between iOS and Android versions of the game! And if you’re stuck for other great games to play on Netflix, why not check out our list of the top 10 best Netflix Games to play right now?
