So pretty! My first Syngonium. I've been eyeing them for a while, specifically for the Pink one, but this one called out to me at Home Depot. Also got a little succulent for my smaller crochet hanger upstairs and my co-parent joined us and picked up a cactus. It's been a great weekend.
I also ordered a Chinese Evergreen for my grandmother. She used to have plants when my mom was growing up so I'm told. I figured it's a fairly easy and rewarding plant. I love her very much. I know she isn't at the end of life phase, but her kidneys are worsening and she has had a history of heart issues. That being said I will continue to keep our strong bond, especially since I don't live close.
Although my trip to Lowe's today was upsetting (the plants were super sad), I did find this beautiful Pink Cochin Aglaonema! Her pink is so vibrant, her growth is nice and healthy, no signs of any pests or disease, so I took her home. I'm so glad I did...look at those roots!
My Chinese Evergreen Aglaonema was one of my first indoor plants. She has done nothing but thrive, so I am very excited to add another one to the collection.
🐝 Me! I'm becoming addicted to plants 🪴! I feel like that would have made my Great Grandma Mel proud 🥰 . I'm taking it one plant at a time though, I need to make sure my ADHD can keep up with the plant load lol 😆 if I haven't killed any in a few weeks or a month then I have succeeded and it's time for a new plant baby 😅
New plant, she’s a succulent! Her name is Aubrey Chikorita Spoon(to match the fact that my friends and I named my spider plant Spork Bulbasaur Basil) and also the fact that I’m back to being obsessed with kinning Aubrey from omori lol. I got her from a school event my friend did where we also got to decorate the pots, so I(badly) did a design of generic flowers in the aromantic and asexual flag colors!
