DGM India projects 30-40% topline growth for 2024-25

DGM India, a leading provider of converting solutions for the folding cartons and corrugated segment, hopes to close the financial year 2024-25 with an impressive 30-40% growth in topline. This substantial growth is underpinned by robust demand for the company's machines in the Indian market, Puneet Agarwal, managing director of DGM Automation India, said in an interview with Packaging South Asia.
Agarwal expressed confidence in the company's growth trajectory, stating, “In terms of growth, this year will be excellent. Our topline will likely grow by high double digits, anywhere between 30-40%, driven by strong demand for our machines in India. We are now a well-established brand in the country, and our portfolio of solutions is very strong. Angad Enterprise from Kalaamb, Himachal Pradesh, ordered a DGM SmartFold 1100SL.

Ahmedabad-based Rightway Packaging ordered a DGM SmartFold 1100SL.
Jammu-based Mapple and Pune-based Dolly Print opted for the SmartFold 1100SL and TechnoFold 1100SL, respectively.
SAPCO signing a deal for the 1100SL with bump n turn.
Baddi-based KN Industry went for a TechnoFold 1100PC.
Mumbai-based Jayant Printery purchased two machines: a Technocut 1050S and a SmartFold 1100SL.
DGM showcased its flagship SmartFold Servo X 1100-SL folder gluer and Technocut 1050S die cutter at drupa. The SmartFold Servo X 1100-SL, an automatic high-speed intelligent folder gluer, is suitable for various box types including straight-line, crash lock bottom, double-wall, and 4- and 6-corner boxes. The Technocut 1050-S is a fully automatic flat die-cutting and creasing machine designed for large-format cutting with precise centering and stripping. It features an automatic feeder with a non-stop system capable of handling a wide range of materials from paper (80 gsm - 2000 gsm) to corrugated board (5 mm).
Agarwal concluded by reflecting on DGM’s overall performance at drupa, “For DGM overall, drupa was excellent. We did excellent live demonstrations of our machines and processed some high-quality jobs at our booth. In the eight years since the last drupa, DGM has grown and expanded its footprint and customer base globally and improved its technological capabilities. DGM India was established in 2018 and then DGM set up a subsidiary in Vietnam recently. We also now have a European subsidiary based in Spain. So, DGM has come a long way since the last drupa. We had a lot to show and talk about, and we did a good job. Yes, the number of visitors was significantly lower this year compared to the last edition.”
