Possible Our Wonderland Fanwork Contest (please vote!)

HEY ALL

So I've never done anything like this before. Mostly because I am super awkward and anxious and also assume no one would join and then I'd be super sad and look like a doof. So I wanted to do a poll and gauge interest first.

Since this month I'm so out and about with family stuff and also am just a bit burned out so am a bit slow and quiet on posting stuff so I feel a bit guilty, I began ruminating on whether some kind of fanwork contest could be fun over the next month or so. However, I don't want to do it if no one would be interested, thus the poll:

My initial idea for it would be something where people could submit either art or fic (i guess other types of writing would also be fine, too, like if you wanted to write some sort of essay or analysis LOL unsure if anyone would ever want to do anything like this but thought i'd keep it open just in case), and everyone who submits would get a small quick sketchy head-shot of someone of their choosing from me (so like an OC or a non-OC or fanart or whatever) as thanks. And then I would do a random wheel spin thing to select 2 people from everyone that submitted to draw a more polished art piece (there'd be some restrictions on things I'm not super comfortable drawing but would be mostly pretty open; i'll include more details if i actually go ahead with the contest). Unsure yet if I would allow for multiple entries for more draws... I'd have to think. I'd maybe do it but restrict it to two or three or something. And it would have to be a fanwork(s) created specifically for the contest to make it more fair for everyone. And it would last maybe from mid-September to mid-late-October-ish (leading up towards Halloween, which could be fun and spoopy alkdjfalsd).

S1 Mulder is still a teeny distrustful; but Scully breaks down his last barrier with a fake-out and mutual terrible movie experience for his birthday.

Mulder’s birthday is one of many star-mentions throughout Season 1 and 2.

(**On a personal note: 10/13 is the best birthday, and I am thrilled to share it with such an iconic character... mostly because there will always be new fanfic and fanart for me to enjoy, heehee.**)

Okay, now that I'm not on my essay account, I have some Cringey Middle School shenanigans to admit to you guys. The majority of these have to do with Rush, but there are a fair few that don't:

Remember the 2112 All Star parody that was submitted to prog-rock-confessions? That was me, I'm sorry. I also did an All Star parody about the periodic table for my science class. The opening lyrics were "My science teacher told me / the world is made of atoms".

I drew Shrek x Hamilton nsfw fanart to piss off my friends that were into Hamilton at the time. I also did this IN MY ART CLASS.

I used my art class in general to draw Rush fanart. I would find a way to bend the rules of almost every assignment to let me do that, like I did a comic strip of Cygnus X-1 that was really cool. I have no idea where it is now.

I wrote a 3 1/2 page essay to my 7th grade English teacher convincing her to let me use a class period to make my English class listen to 2112 and connect it to the book we were reading. Looking back, it was doubly cringey and also incredibly insensitive because that book was Malala Yousafzai's autobiography, I Am Malala. I made the incredible observation that the Taliban were just like the Priests of Syrinx because they banned music. I was a fucking moron. My teacher actually agreed to let me present, and I ended up roping my friend into it, and we spend the entire class period listening to and going over 2112. I had a whole presentation. This was completely unprompted, by the way.

I went as Freddie Mercury to my school's Halloween dance in 7th grade. The next year, I roped my gf at the time and my best friend into a group costume... and to no one's surprise, we went as Rush. I gave my bestie a pair of these gimmick pencil drumsticks, and we taped on a mustache, and my gf had an inflatable guitar... and yours truly carried her actual bass around with a pair of fake glasses and a wig from Party City. I look back at least once a week in horror.

Wrote a South Park fan script that was meant to be a trilogy. If that wasn't cringey enough, it involved traveling back in time and Queen. I also showed this to my friends at School of Rock when I went there.

When my school did an event called Teach the Teacher, which excused kids from their classes for a couple periods in order to give seminars on usually their talents or stuff... I used this to give a seminar on the history of progressive rock. Of course. If I remember anything else from my cringey middle school experience, I will make sure to write it down because I am just scratching the surface of all the weird shit I did. If you want me to elaborate on anything, I will too.

Everyone looking forward to the next episode of Bleach? I certainly am! 😁 As I have said previously, I’m drawing six Captains in celebration of Bleach’s return. I’ve drawn Aizen already, it’ now time for one of my favourite Captains, the Kenpachi himself! 💛 As I’m sure most of you agree, I can’t wait to see Kenpachi in the new series. The fights I’m sure are going to be a sight to behold with the clean animation, especially now they aren’t censoring the gore, we’re finally going to get the bloody fights this man deserves! 🤟

My art recap for 2022! (LONG POST)

(I can't save drafts anymore over on Twitter so uhh guess I'll have to do this earlier than I would have wanted XD )

I was busy this year, and that’s why I didn’t get to make as much art as I did the previous years. My goal was to make at least 1 piece a month, but ended up cutting it down to having enough for this collage. I could go on about how I wish I could do more, but doing this recap made me think about the things to be grateful for, which I’ll focus on instead: 

1) I was able to pick up on old concepts and finish them. 

My initial sketch for this Klarion piece may have been from around 2020, but this design along with all my Klarion ideas were much, much, older. It feels good to be able to follow through on old idea. 

2) I made art for fandoms I hadn’t before. 

I’ve been into Sandman and Hellblazer for years but it’s only now I’ve made fanart for them. FOTF is out of my comfort zone and I often struggle with fanart for live action shows (which Desire here is from), yet I’m happy with the results. I think it shows that back then I wasn’t there YET, but I am NOW. 

3) I challenged myself and came through. 

This Keykid piece is my most complex from this year. I had a hard time with the details and foreshortening. I could have gone the easy route several times but kept pushing to achieve my vision. In the end, I’m happy with the result. 

4) Things did get better. 

This food piece is nothing special and I could have swapped it with my much nicer Keykid piece. But I did the food one during an art block when I felt hopeless and thought I wouldn’t be able to draw anymore or have time for it. But by the end of the year, I did achieve more than I thought I would, so I kept it in. 

5) I was still able to do things for my CT AU. 

I finally posted a 2-year old WIP fanfic (read here!), and also started doing asks and occasional RP-ing. I also made this Halloween idea I’ve had for just as long. Even though the AU didn’t get much this year, I was still able to accomplish some firsts. 

6) In the end, I had more than enough for the collage. More than I thought I’d have at the start of the year. 

So what’s my takeaway from this year? Sometimes we don’t achieve things because it’s not the right time, but that doesn’t mean never. It just means NOT YET. So at the end of the year 2022, I will think not about what I “didn’t do”, but instead what I did, and what I didn’t do YET.

On that note, I capped this year's art this month to focus on busy life stuff and also prepare a bunch of concepts in advance for next year! I'm excited for it and hope to make great stuff.

If you use song lyrics, which artist’s songs did you pull from the most?

It's not often I use song lyrics but this year I did for chapter 3 here for "Green Flames, White Fur".

The chapter is inspired by Kehlani's Honey. And I got some cute, amazing fanart to go with it by @vyathacov ! When I saw I almost cried... or I did. XD

What's WIP are you taking into next year with you?

To name a few "Tragedy Wives" and "THERE IS NO RATIONAL EXPLANATION FOR THIS". The original plan for the first fic was to finish it by Halloween but that didn't happen. I'm not ultimately disappointed though. Honestly, I felt like it would be a fic I would have rushed on and I hate that.

Your favorite character to write this year?

Like I can choose one! I really like writing for Miruko and Midoriya. With Miruko, it's about exploring more than what she's seen as first glance in canon. Not saying my interpretation of her is better than anyone else's though. Hell, I don't even expect for people to like how I write her. It's more so... just giving her more. I guess it comes from her being my favorite character overall.

Midoriya is also a favorite, tied with Miruko. He's probably the easiest BNHA character to write because our personalities are similar.

A surprise though for me is Iida and Bakugou. I don't think I'll ever get both characters down, but how I write for them isn't bad. I enjoy writing them, too.

For Iida, it's keeping embracing more of his lesser known traits. Often in fics, he's written as so stricken with rules and having no fun. In my fics, he does still have that leader role, he's still "by the book". However, he has a little sass to him, cracks joke. He does have fun.

For Bakugou, he is definitely a challenge, but I have fun with it. Sometimes, I feel like I don't capture that aura of his, but I like trying new things. A lot of his lines in my fics do be my favorites.

Which work has the most comments?

I am honestly shook that it's "Beware of the Bunnies". I know I say it a lot, but I'm surprised I got more feedback than expected for that fic. Hell, at a time I didn't think people would touch it.

After that, a fic that started this year, is "THERE IS NO RATIONAL EXPLANATION FOR THIS".

Nicknames To Call The Royalty And Nobility Of Hazbin Hotel/Helluva Boss & Theories And Other Stuff To Talk About...

 first I want to say that it was too bad I didn’t get to post any “Halloween Fanart” like either a video game character or cartoon character or both on Halloween...

I did get to watch a movie during that time, a DVD of Nightmare before Christmas.....I was going to start with Corpse Bride first and then go to watching Nightmare Before Christmas, but at some point in the movie where Victor was in that netherworld....?

well I think there is something wrong with the DVD and no matter how many times I stop the movie, and then go back to the chapter it had stop on...well it kept freezing up, so might have to try to fix it sometime...

I know we have one of those items that is suppose to help fix a disc when that kind of thing happens, or if it is dirty.

also even though it was Halloween, it just didn’t....feel much like it to me during that day, I guess it was one of those days maybe...?

where you might feel in a little in a “Meh” mood...

anyway we know that Asmodeus, Mr. Playboy Heart-Breaker of Lust....

is also known by his nickname Ozzie...

one of the nicknames I would like for Charlie’s Dad,

would be Eon-Boomer, and  Sugar Apple Papa...

 I did do a drawing of Charlie’s Dad wearing a shirt with the words “Sugar Apple Papa”....

and I know that Mammon hasn’t appeared yet in Helluva Boss,

but I still want to call him by the nickname Manny, and even Mona...

but Manny seems to fit the most...

besides messing with Lucifer by giving him a shirt that reads Sugar Apple Papa.

messing with Mammon by giving him a shirt with a arrow pointed up at his face that reads This Dork For Rent, was the best idea I ever had when drawing a fan art of the Mammon from Helluva Boss, even if we don’t know what he will officially look like yet, and only know a little bit of how he looks from his picture on the money....

but once we do see him appear in a episode, I’m still gonna call him “Manny”

and if some theories about Beelzebub is true, I know I had watched a theory video that has to with the Hellhounds that had to do with her...

I forgot the name of the video but if I find it again, I will re-watch it...

and well we know that Asmodeus’s canon nickname is Ozzie, and Mammon’s fanon nickname is Manny (because I started to call him by the nickname Manny, I would like to tease him with that nickname. XP )

but as for Beezlebub, well I can’t help but have a certain nickname in mind for her even if it might never be canon...

and well it’s a nickname that I’m gonna kind of censor in this....

so yeah, anyway....her nickname would be Beezleb*tch.

not sure what her official appearance will be or when she will be in a episode, but in my fan headcanon, her nickname is Beezleb**ch.....

I do have a theory that the episode was suppose to be in Season 1 of Helluva Boss, where Blitz and Loona go to some party...?

that has that Male Hellhound that was being friendly with Loona that showed in a preview clip...

my guess is that it is possible that episode might end up being part of Season 2, because of certain reasons...

I don’t mind waiting for that episode, and I’m sure the Team that works on the show are doing there best and hope they are making sure to take some breaks, like for food, sleep and well, maybe even watching a movie or playing a video game...

anyway back to the whole nicknames....

Belphegor, would be called Bell or Belph....? the Prince of Envy, could be called Levy... and well as for Satan, I am still sticking with Stan as a nickname...

I know that Moxxie and Millie live in the Wrath Ring, which is suppose to be ruled by him....

well, I guess we might end up seeing him in a future episode, don’t know when or what season...

and is it weird to have thoughts of me wanting to flip him the double bird...?

well at least the Hazbin Hotel/Helluva Boss version of him, didn’t end up having some Toxic Followers that harmed one of my past life selves...

yeah, I’m so going to hope that in my next reincarnations, I never end up being reborn in to a Toxic-Satanist Family, there should be some kind of freaking rule that forbids Earth Angels, even Defective ones like myself, from having their soul placed in a body, that is just gonna be used in one of those rituals.

and yeah, Toxic-Satanist are but only one of the names of the Toxic-Religious people on my list....like those disgusting Toxic-Priests and Toxic-Nuns who did some pretty messed up stuff and crossed a line that should never be crossed...

I think it is possible that while maybe some people are Satanist, I think some have some sense not to cross a certain line....

and it might be for the best that past life memories, are only remembered in a bits and pieces and not the full picture, because for some who had something really bad happen to them in one of their past lives....sometimes it is best to NEVER remember it, because it could be bad.

but with luck, some memories you have will just be copy memories from your soul parent or parents that your soul was born from...

you will still have your own memories, but it is likely some copy memories from your soul parents or soul parents, will be stuck to your soul’s memory.

also after thinking about the episode that Striker appears in,

I got to say that it was awesome for not ending up like certain shows that portray those who live in a place where everyone is viewed as a “hillbilly”

still, jokes on some people, I might technically be a Hillbilly...

but my parents weren’t, because they were born elsewhere.

I mean, the whole “backwards hillbilly” trope could still be used in some shows and movies, but some humans should have common sense to know that not everyone who is a hillbilly, will be like that.

and there can be other reasons why some might end up missing some teeth, which by the way, wouldn’t be for whatever reason that is shown in the backwards trope...

don’t know how many go through it, and plus some who aren’t even living in the places where they are called hillbillies...

there could be different reasons why it can happen, but even if it does happen, don’t give some the right to just assume whatever it is they are thinking, no matter if it is “hillbilly stereotyping” or something else...  

 anyway, we know that Blitz did give a stereotypical comment about Imps from the Wrath Ring, but it’s possible that he knows that some of the stereotyping of the Imps from the Wrath Ring, is not 100% true.

it could be possible that some Imps from each ring, will marry other Imps from other rings, and if Striker is a hybrid type Imp...

then it could be possible that at some point in the past, Imps started to marry or had some kind of affair with other non-Imps, and ended up having Imp Hybrid offspring together.

also one of my Helluva Boss theories, is that a Female Imp’s horns are made out of some type of obsidian, well that is a weird theory but not all theories have to be correct...

it could be possible that we wont see the other princes right away in Helluva Boss, but we might end up seeing Stella’s brother and even Mammon next at some point in the future.

a weird thought pop into my head just now, picturing Stella’s brother doing that whole hand to the wall and leaning to a person who’s back is to the wall trope...

and the one he is doing that to is Collin....

that ship might only stay in the fanon, but I guess I would be surprised if that ship ended up becoming popular, but how many would end up shipping Collin x Andrealphus together...?    

just picture Stella screaming at Andrealphus “Not You Too?!”

all while he is hugging Collin, who is trying very hard to escape but can’t because of how tightly Andrealphus has a hold on him.

one of the nicknames for Stella’s brother, can be Andy and Andrea.

also I have tried to look up some form of info that has to do with the info I read before that has to do with Jesus purposely causing some kind of bad stuff, but with any luck that information is just not true and is myth...

but if he so much as does try to actually try to cause a war between some nations, that would pretty much peeve me off...

there is still no proof that he would technically be my ancestor, because even if his blood type is different from O RH D Negative and well, even if someone’s blood type is different they could still have genetic of some blood types that come from their different families either on their father or mother’s side...

but yeah I know that he is suppose to be a descendant of King David, like me...

so the only proof that makes us technically family, is that and making us distant cousins.....and I guess being a Earth Angel, I guess there can be other relations as well....

I still don’t think I would be allowed to grab him by his ear if he ends up trying to cross a line, even if I still want to grab the Antichrist by the ear and show no mercy to the said ear....cause I ain’t having none of that mess.

 it might be a good thing that the Feminine energy is getting back into balance, not counting the Toxic-Feminine energy.

it is possible that Mary Magdalene was the Feminine Messiah, but just because I and others might believe it could be true, doesn’t mean that everyone will.

I also think it is good that Helluva Boss and maybe even Hazbin Hotel, have a slightly different history from the canon stuff that is wrote about the angels, fallen angels and demons that is wrote in myths and religion...

although it can suck to know how the daughters of Eve and Adam are possibly not given enough respect....

also if Lilith was Adam’s first wife, he should of left her alone so she could heal properly, and Adam trying to force her to come back to him and not telling God the full reason why she left in the first place...

it just doesn’t seem right, plus after thinking about yesterday....

I came to the theory that when Lilith left Adam, she was pregnant with his unborn child or children....

and it might of been a good thing she left, because the bad stress wouldn’t of been good for the baby or babies if she was going to have twins.

and if Lilith had 100 children, the ones that she had with Adam, would be the eldest....

not everyone has to agree to that theory, but I think it could be possible that Lilith was pregnant when she left Adam.

also the weirdest theory I have is that Fizzarolli and Blitzo had ended up switching bodies, before the whole Stolas x Blitz affair and before Fizzarolli started to work with Ozzie and before he got those robotic limbs.

which if that theory were true, that would mean that the Blitz we know, was originally Fizzarolli and the Fizzarolli we know was originally Blitzo.

both could love horses, even if their friendship fell apart.

Fizzarolli, who now goes by Blitz and doesn’t want to go by the “o” because it is silent now....could of had two reasons to want to use Stolas’s book.

one, to go to Earth and see the horses there and two, to find a way to switch himself and Blitzo who is now called Fizzarolli, back to normal.

anyway I don’t think I have much else to say for this....

I mean there was the nicknames, and some other stuff....

I think in my next post after this, I will talk about a FNAF theory....

I also want to say that even if the nickname might be a bit rude,

the nickname Beelzeb*tch had pop into my head.....

I think it first pop into my head when watching a Helluva Boss Theory video...

I loved the two episodes of Season 2 of Helluva Boss.

and my thoughts about Loona and Octavia are this...

I sib it, because once again not all “Ships” will be romantic, and you ONLY use the “I ship it” if it is gonna be the romantic type.

if it’s a sibling type thing, where it’s platonic and not romantic...

you use “I sib it.” and for family either adoptive or step-family...

you use “I fam it.”.....and for friendships, there is “I bud it.”

I think that Loona will be like a big sister and friend to Octavia, which would be both a I sib it and I bud it type.

anyway I’m gonna go watch a movie first, before I talk about a FNAF theory...

and maybe I will talk about a Undertale and Deltarune theory after that....

and maybe I will think about other nicknames for the royalty and nobility from Helluva Boss and Hazbin Hotel.

I’m still gonna call Mammon from Helluva Boss, by the nickname Manny.

maybe I will do another drawing of him wearing a shirt that says This Dork For Rent.....I think I might be really weird to come up with that idea...

it would of still been nice if I had did a drawing for Halloween but I didn’t get to, I did kind of sleep half through it, and only was able to wake up for the few hours left of Halloween, and I got to watch a movie during that time.

it just didn’t feel much like Halloween, I guess some might of felt this way before for some days, not just for Halloween.

hopefully when it does get to Christmas, it will feel like Christmas.

one of the things I can look forward to this month, before the next month where Christmas will be starting on....

is that on November, there will be a Season 3 of the Cuphead Show.

oh and this month I saw some new trailer for the Bendy and the Dark Revival, so it disproves any assumptions about that game being canceled.

just got to wait a few more days for Season 3 of the Cuphead Show. 

also want to add that in theory, that Lucifer and Lilith from Hazbin Hotel, might either be very affectionate with each other and are very much in love which is how some fans write fan fic or fan art about them...

or they could be on the rocks and could be having a on-and-off type of thing going on....so there are two theories, one is that those two are madly and silly in love or two, they are having a little bit of a separation and coming close to a divorce but still see each other because they are on that “on-and-off” type of love....one of those two theories might be true...

That is your decision if you ever decide to watch the series again... I'm not forcing you. And I'm enjoying this series. Except if this series is so popular, then why is there rarely any content? There is rarely any form of content for this fandom. And it's angering me. So that means now I have to write for another fandom that has no content. What the fuck.

But the violent scenes really pick up by episode three. Though.. I have always waited an episode or two before judging a series, because any first couple episodes are always introduction to plots and characters.

Like I said.. I have a type. Apparently I would be attracted to the guys who have no problem harming men but are against any abuse toward women and children. Akaza, Gun-woo, Woo-jin, Rocky, Vincenzo may even be only some more obvious examples of these types of men too.

Obviously romance is part of their stories. Since that is definitely part of the reason for the story.. The H&L fandom needs some romance as it is, so why not write it yourself. No one else seems to be doing that.

Now that Halloween is getting closer, I will definitely have to get back into watching more horror shows and movies.. Not that I don't always watch horror series. But lately I have been into a lot of other genres at the moment, like action and crime right now. So I am going to search through the horror genres soon (including anime too) to watch next.

Smoky has always been a big brother to everyone in Nameless City in ways that people seem to forget that they are blood related, well, not that family is always about blood relations either. They are a founding family type of family. So no biological relationships for most of them.

Even though Smoky isn't in the franchise that often for more obvious reasons, I would like to involve his character more in some ways that I might be able to. But I'll have to figure out how to do that though.

And I can imagine that for Takeshi.. Since Smoky was huge presence, a huge presence, in Nameless City since he was a baby. He might feel like he could never live up to the same expectations Smoky, he might constantly compare himself to Smoky. Kind of like how Cobra always compares himself to his older brothers of Mugen, wondering if he is a good enough leader for his younger friends of Sannoh. So I can see it.

Are Ryuko and Hinami in the same story? Do they ever meet? I do not for sure if this is helpful, but I might have some ideas? Not good ideas though. My ideas might be too vague for you though. So I don't know.

Exactly. Common sense is not common anymore. What "common" is, shouldn't be common. What common is for most people.. Betraying a lot of their loved ones (whoever that loved one is), almost killing other people and business by consuming drugs and alcohol - depending on their vices, prostitution, gambling. I try my best not to be judgmental, but situations like these make it difficult for me not to be judgmental.

I know, I know.. Everyone's human. We make mistakes. Whatever. I've heard those comments. But, when people do things like these things, it's hard for me not to judge them when they're careless or reckless in a situation where people and even places are always harmed by them to begin with. And then people wonder why I always hate humanity.

This is why I prefer the company of animals over humans. Because so many humans do things like this.. It's always so rare for me, at least in my experience, to find people who are actually decent to be around.

watching smokey slowly deteriorate over the movies is so sad. i can’t imagine how hard it was for all his friends to watch and not be able to do anything because they didn’t have the money :(

they ended h&l too quickly, i wanted to see leader takeshi! i wanted to see him struggle under the weight of the legacy smokey left! and then finally come into his own as a leader!

i didn’t initially intend for ryuko and hinami to be in the same group overall universe, but then i imagined the two of them and kizzy in some badass girl trio fight scene, and now they are. they probably meet briefly while ryuko is being passed around the cities to avoid kuryu, and then during fights, but they’re not overly close but they are friends.

they’re edges just don’t really line up well, if that’s understandable? like ryuko is very booksmart and kinda princess-y, and hinami is very streetsmart and kinda tomboyish; ryuko is angry at her mother for abandoning her, but hinami has become (mostly) indifferent to being abandoned by her parents (until it rains); so they kind of clash a little?

i would love to hear your thoughts tho!!

idk how it is in other places, but all around australia, there’s been a lot of disrespect, especially from younger people. there’s horrible cases of severe bullying, fighting, and stealing (including car theft and then joyriding).

and then there’s all the cheating and drug use, drunk driving. everything’s kinda going to shit and it’s getting harder and harder to find decent people. so many people care more about themselves than caring at all - even minorly - about the people around them.

So I started watching MHA recently so if you don't mind i might include some characters from there every so often.

Iwaizumi purposely keeps the ac on full blast in his home so that you either have to cuddle him for warmth or have to ask for one of his hoodies.

Kirishima is the best at calming you down from a panic attack. His sweet words and comforting arms never fail to make you feel better.

Tendou has a drawer of all the things you need when you come over to stay with him. This isnt limited to just clothes either he has a toothbrush, hair products, ect

Sakusa has a pair of reading glasses that he only allows you to see him in. He also has a tendency to leave them in odd places and have you help him look for them.

Bakugou is actually a really big fan of cuddles especially after a rough day. His favorite position is laying his head on your chest so he can listen to your heartbeat.

Hinata and you will hangout with Natsu at least once a week and do something fun together. This has included going to arcades, having movie nights, going hiking, ect.

Yamaguchi loves to do couples cosplays if you are into that and will even do his best to play the part of the character.

Tsukishima loves to give commentary on whatever movie you two are watching together and loves to try and guess the ending of the movie.

Bokuto wears a little charm bracelet with your name on it to every single game especially if you cant be there for whatever reason. He claims its his good luck charm.

Kuroo loves sending flowers to your job with the tag reading "secret admirer" you and all of your coworkers know its him but that doesnt make the action any less cute.

Wow! I'm so excited that you're watching MHA! I'm rewatching it with my sister right now so I've been really into it again. I am more than happy to hear your soft headcanons for those characters too!!

Soft Sunday Headcanons Haikyuu and My Hero Academia

(with: Iwa, Kirishima, Tendo, Sakusa, Bakugo, Hinata, Yamaguchi, Tsuki, Bokuto, and Kuroo)

Iwaizumi: omg! What a clever boy. How could you possible be upset about it though when he looks so happy after his plan works and you're curled up next to him all cozy and warm in his hoodie.

Kirishima: He's the most supporting partner you'll ever have! He's super positive and optimistic, but he knows what it's like to have bad days and would never judge you in those times you might need to lean on him a bit more.

Tendo: I love reading headcanons that just make me nod and say "yep." This sounds like Tendo all the way. He's the overachieving boyfriend that always somehow anticipates your needs. I love him!

Sakusa: *casually googles for fanart of Sakusa in glasses* This is so cute omg. We may never know why he's self conscious of other people seeing him in his glasses but it's an endearing trait. Also, Omi, why are your glasses on top of the refrigerator?!?!

Bakugo: Gosh, it takes so long for him to be okay with being that vulnerable around you, but once he gets there it's heaven! Bakugo gives the best cuddles. He's so warm and it feels so safe with him laying on top of you while you run your fingers through his hair.

Hinata: Natsu doesn't really give you guys a choice. She's always been close with her brother, but she also clicked with you right away. She immediately considered you family, and she loves spending time with both of you. Hinata always had a feeling you were the one, but seeing how well you fit in with his sister sealed the deal. There's no escape for you now! (why would you want to anyway!? I would love to be part of this sunshine family!)

Yamaguchi: Wait! Yamaguchi! Please be the Midoriya to my Todoroki. That would be awesome! It would be fun to do cheesy halloween costumes with him too! Show up as ketchup and mustard bottles just to make other people roll their eyes.

Tsukishima: Okay, but cuddling up with him on the couch while watching bad scary movies to point out the cringey effects and bad acting. Sometimes he forgets the movie though, getting lost in the sight of you giggling and making sarcastic comments about how dumb some of the characters are. His heart feels so full. How are you so perfect for him?

Bokuto: What a precious boy. Sometimes he's a little too superstitious but he appreciates when you play along. It makes him so happy when you hold the bracelet for a moment, passing your good luck onto it before putting it around his wrist yourself and sending him off to his game with the promise that you'd be in the stands cheering as loud as you can for him.

Kuroo: He's so dorky in the cutest way. He knows just how to make you swoon for him. Knowing how jealous he makes your coworkers with his sweet gestures is just an added bonus.

Fics in Progress Update (Sept 2021)

I haven’t done a work in progress update in a while and so now seems like a good time to do that since I’m finally free of Glimbow Week and other commitments for a bit. I don’t know if anyone is actually interested in / cares about any of this stuff but it’s helpful for me to write it out and organize my thoughts.

Here’s the thing tho: I was thinking my schedule would normalize in the autumn and, for various reasons, that has not been the case At All so writing time is still super sporadic and I’m not going to commit to any consistent posting schedule.

That said, I’m planning to concentrate mostly just on my ongoing fics for a while so expect less random new one-shots and more finishing stuff that’s already up.

The Other Me has about ten chapters left by my outline but since we’re all having fun with that fic I may expand it a little as antics occur to me. My hope is to get that back to bi-monthly updates at the longest by the end of Sept.

Glowing Up: The Pirate and the Princess has a mere two to three chapters left (depending on how I chop it up) and I hope to have that finished before fall is over.

Lay Down was pretty much a very lone one-shot I chopped up so I could post it in time for Glimbow Week. The other two sections are written, I just want to clean them up and expand them a bit now that I have the time to do that. They will go up when they go up but, since there are only two sections left, it should finish up pretty quickly.

Going There, Coming Home and the Glimbow Swap (Prince Bow and Archer Glimmer) are my babies. I don't know exactly how many chapters are left of any of them (well I do, roughly, but I tend to split chapters as I edit which mucks with those numbers) but they are all very dear to me and I like just working on them at my own pace so those will continue to update willy nilly as I get time to work on them between other things.

What about [insert fic name here]?

I have many other one-shots and additions to my existing AUs I wrote as back-ups for Glimbow Week that are in various states of completion. I will post them or not as the spirit moves me.

As for bigger projects I’ve teased but have not started posting yet…

I was going to start posting Outlaws of the Whispering Woods (my dystopian Robin Hood AU) months ago but I decided to wait because a) I want to concentrate on making progress on some of my other big works in progress first and b) I’d like to try to hold it for the next Big Bang to give it a chance of it reaching a wider audience because I’m really proud of it and I’d like more people to read it.

In an ideal world, I’d start posting more Beasts AU for Halloween (bc that’s what I originally wrote it for) but it’s suffering from plot hole-itis right now so I can’t post it until I iron out some story issues. I’m not sure if I will ever post everything I have planned for that AU but I hope to at least post a big chunk of the Catradora / Glimbow part because it is dear to me.

Horde Glimmer AU: I have written much more of the same AU where Glimmer and Catra are swapped (as seen in my fic, Another World) and I am honestly not sure anymore if I will ever post it since that one-shot mostly flopped. That said, I might still post random scenes I’ve written to test the waters.

Fake Break-up AU, which I posted a teaser for during Palentines last year, is very dear to my bi-heart and in many ways the most personal thing I’ve ever written but I am not sure if I will ever be posting it despite having written a ton of it already. It depends on how life goes, particularly in relation to the next thing…

Last year around this time, I got distracted a Glimbow vampire AU. I wrote a ton before realizing… you know, this is so far from canon maybe I’d be better off just writing this for real. And, if I may be vague, things started happening there that told me it was the right choice. Will I ever post any of it in its original fanfic form? I am not sure but I might do a few select scenes as one shots at some point. Either way, you’ll get to read it eventually… Bow and Glimmer’s names just may be different. ;-)

The mood right now at Casa de Funkaport is frustrated because I really thought we’d be done with COVID by now and instead it continues to complicate my life in many ways. I am still starting to step back from fanfic to go back to work writing (which is why my focus right now is in finishing up stuff I’ve already started vs starting new stuff) but that’s been more of a slow tentative shuffle than the jump I thought it would be.

Anyway, that’s just a quick update on where everything stands! Remember, if you want to influence me to update your favorite fic next I am easily bribed with fanart of my fics and Kofi tips! ;-)

Ghosts

I initially had the idea to do this fic a while ago, even before I started writing my first Super Mario fic. I finally got around to it for Halloween after being reminded of the idea via coming across a fanart piece that depicted a similar idea. I'd link it because it's sort of fic inspiration but it's buried deep in the Bowuigi tag on Tumblr and in the reblogs on my main blog.

Of course the hotel was haunted, why wouldn’t it be? Just when he thought he was finally free of having to deal with ghosts, this had to happen. Finding the Poltergust in the garage – indicating E. Gadd was here somewhere too, probably trapped in a portrait – was a sheer stroke of luck because Luigi had neglected to bring his own ghost hunting equipment. This one was the new model E. Gadd had been telling him about too which was neat expect for the fact that he now had to use it to deal with a hotel full of ghosts.

Before getting to that though, he glanced around the garage one last time to make sure he was alone before pulling out his phone. He needed to call Bowser, tell him not to come day after tomorrow after all. They’d been planning to have him show up at the hotel a couple days later and then finally reveal their relationship to Mario and Peach because away from home while on vacation when everyone was already in a good mood seemed like a good place to do that. But ghosts had happened instead so it’d have to wait.

Though it wasn’t super late into the night yet, hopefully Bowser would already be sleeping so Luigi could just leave a message. There was a very real chance Bowser would want to come anyway to punch the ghosts over their plans being ruined and only get himself in trouble. Luigi would rather not have to try to dissuade him from that so… He picked up on the third ring.

“Hey, what’s up?” he said. “Aren’t you normally in bed by now?”

“Uh… yeah but um… well turns out the hotel’s haunted, it was a trap from King Boo. He uh… yeah, stuff happened and I have to deal with it.” He needed to save Mario and Peach, the Toads too. “So, you probably shouldn’t come after all. We’ll have to tell them… later.” Both of them had kept finding reasons to put it off, figures after finally committing to a plan something would go wrong with it.

“He got Mario again, didn’t he?”

“Yep and Peach and the Toads and probably E. Gadd too, since his car is here but he’s not.”

Bowser grunted. “How does King Boo keep beating Mario when I never could?”

“Please not now.” Mario was in danger; Luigi didn’t want to hear about Bowser’s rivalry with him when that was a thing.

“Oh uh… all right, sorry. You okay?” All the gruff bravado was gone from Bowser’s voice now. Instead he sounded concerned which meant Luigi’s plea had been filled with more desperation than he’d intended.

“No, not really.” How could he be in this situation? What if he couldn’t beat King Boo this time? Or what if… King Boo took it further and killed Mario before Luigi could get there to even try to save him?

“Right, you’re afraid of ghosts, huh?”

“I know I probably shouldn’t be anymore.” He’d dealt with two full hauntings and captured King Boo twice as well so logically he shouldn’t be afraid anymore but alas, his fear had never been rooted in anything logical. “But… they’re still scary.” He leaned against E. Gadd’s car, holding back a grown. This ‘adventure’ had only just started and he was already tired.

“All righty then,” Bowser said as if reaching some kind of decision. “I’ll go over and beat the ghosts up for you. Except me in however long it takes my fastest air ship to get there.”

“What? No, no, no, you don’t need to come down here. I can handle it on my own.” It was too late though; the line was dead.

Luigi groaned as he flipped his phone closed to slip back into his pockets. Now he had to save his brother and friends and watch out for when Bowser arrived to hopefully make sure King Boo didn’t get him too. Could the night get any worse?

The hotel was rather drab looking in the dark of night, there wasn’t a light on anywhere inside it. It had looked much better in the brochures so it was a disappointment all around. Vacation wasn’t what Bowser was here for though so whatever. Maybe a dark hotel would serve as a good arena to beat up some ghosts and King Boo though.

Mario was going to be so shocked when he saw it was Bowser who’d save him this time. That would count as finally besting him too, right? Defeating the person who’d defeated him was basically a victory over both of them, right? So, this was going to be a fun outing after all.

With a signal from him, the ship flew in closer to hover over the roof. “Circle at a distance until I call you back,” he instructed the shy guy at the wheel before vaulting over the edge. In hindsight, even with how much it would’ve slowed down the ship, he probably should’ve brought in a troop of minions for backup but he’d been in such a hurry and hadn’t wanted to wait for an entire troop to get ready to broad it and now it was too late. Whatever though, he could handle King Boo and his tiny boos by himself.

He landed on the hotel’s roof with a thud, the tiles cracking beneath his weight. Glancing around he was disappointed to see that the roof was empty. What his exact plan was, he had no idea but he didn’t a plan, he’d just wing it like he normally did and it should be fine.

The roof was pretty barren and thus it didn’t take him long to locate a possible way down so he could enter in properly through a window or something. Before he could start to descend though…

“Why are you here?”

He snapped around to see King Boo had come out of seemingly nowhere. He was holding a portrait of Princess Peach, which knowing King Boo’s powerset, meant it probably was her. Bowser had given up courting her a long time ago and had only continued to kidnap her to lure Mario in for another rematch. He no longer even did that because Luigi had decided to convince him not to which had ultimately resulted in their current relationship. But it still made him mad because if anyone was going to capture her, it should’ve been him. He at least treated her right, the way a princess should be treated, not trapping her in a portrait. So…

“I’m here to kick your ass,” he said with a slight growl as he balled up his hands into fists. He would’ve preferred to start with a blast of fire but he wasn’t sure how flammable Peach’s portrait was and he wasn’t going to risk damaging it and possibly her.

King Boo raised an eyebrow and laughed. “You’ll make a nice portrait so sure, I won’t question my good fortune, let’s fight.”

Bowser lunged at him even before finished speaking, intending to grab and rip Peach’s portrait out of his hands. But King Boo floated higher, dodging with seemingly little effort. And he was out of Bowser’s range completely, such bullshit.

With a flash of light from King Boo’s crown, there was suddenly an empty portrait floating beside him. “Sorry this isn’t much of a fight, I got stuff to do,” he said as it starting glowing, pulling Bowser in.

Like hell was he gonna be turned into wall art. He’d blast the damn thing to bits with fire and then…

Next thing he knew, he was indoors and looking down at Luigi instead of up at King Boo. It felt kind of like waking up after a too long nap. He breathed out the breath he’d been taking, releasing a puff of smoke instead of the mighty blast of fire he’d intended it to be. He glanced around at the room, it seemed to be an office of some sort. “What happened? Where am I?” he said as he looked back down.

Luigi looked tired but otherwise mostly fine. He had the Poltergust on his back but a different model than the one he’d shown Bowser. This one had a clear tank with something green inside it. “You were captured by King Boo and turned into a portrait,” he said. “Why did you have come? I tried to tell you not to.”

“Because I wanted to.” Bowser always did whatever he wanted.

“Yeah but why?”

“You’re scared of ghosts, I wanted to beat them up for you.” And he still would, he just had to try a little harder. There were few problems that couldn’t be solved with a good punch and/or blast of fire.

“Oh uh… thanks for the thought.” The slight blush on Luigi’s face as he lifted his free hand to rub the back of his neck was cute and made look slightly less tired. “But I um… I’m fine. I can handle it by myself.”

Bowser sighed as he crossed his arms. He wasn’t too good at reading other people’s emotions but… “You don’t seem fine.”

Luigi deflated a little, letting out a heavy sigh. “It’s scary and I’m tired and… scared and stuff. Gotta save my bro though so…” he trialed off with a shrug. “You should probably go the garage but uh… I’m not sure how I’m going to explain your presence to E. Gadd and the Toads, that’s going to be awkward but I’m not sure where else would be safe.”

“Fuck that, it’s personal now, I’m going to beat up King Boo.” No way would Bowser ever stand for such a humiliating defeat. So he turned to march out the room.

Before he could take more a few steps though Luigi grabbed his arm pulling him back. Bowser could easily just drag him along or pick up and carry him with him or even just shake him off entirely but didn’t.

“You can’t,” Luigi said. “He’ll just turn you into a portrait again so… please don’t. I already have to save Mario and Peach, I don’t want to have to save you again too.” He sounded desperate and scared and… it made Bowser feel bad. “So just… let me do it.”

“You’re scared of ghosts though.” So he shouldn’t even want to do this.

“Yeah but… you need special equipment for hunting ghosts and… I’ve never lost to them so… I can handle it.” He was full on hugging Bower’s arm now, making it even harder to pull away.

Bowser could only sigh at that. “All right, fine, I’ll just help you then.” He could do that much at least. “I’m not letting that bastard get away with beating me so easily and I’m not letting you face the ghosts on your own when you’re so scared of them. And there’s nothing you can do to convince me to hide in some stupid safe place instead.”

Luigi looked like he wanted to protest but sighed instead as he rested the side of his face against Bowser’s upper arm. “Okay, that works, I guess. It’s… kind of nice to have some company anyway I suppose, it gets kind of lonely sometimes.”

Bowser grunted instead of trying to come up with a reply because he wasn’t sure how to. “Let’s go,” he said instead, gesturing towards the rooms exit. He wanted to see how Luigi fought ghosts, he’d been curios about what that was like ever since Luigi had told him about it. “I can’t wait to see the look on Mario’s face when I help save him.”

Luigi chuckled nervously. “That’s uh… certainly going to be an interesting meeting.”

Tag Fact #3 -  I’ve come to realize I’ve always been a fan artist more than I thought. so here is a timeline of influences that shaped my childhood to now. from nostalgic times, to sad changes, to great loss, to strange rises to fame and phases, to stepping stones and finally a laughing place. all the things that make up your favorite fan artist Tag.

1. Rayman (bumped into this in the year of 1999) was actually the first fandom (with crossovers) I bumped into when I was 9. although the internet wasn’t available at the time it was still fun to dwell in home amusements. I remember the storylines and the OC’s I made but they’re kind of embarrassing and it’s probably a good thing there was no internet. I’ve done fanart and comic crossovers of Rayman with Calvin and Hobbs and Nights Into Dreams, spinoffs of Sonic the Hedgehog OC’s, Yoshi with Pikachu, and the Pokemon/Digimon craze with OC’s and other Nintendo comic shorts. but the drawings and comics are long gone and disappeared in the garage in a backpack due to suspecting my sister’s dad accidentally throwing them away. years later towards the year 2018 (now 28), we decided to move to North Carolina and it was my chance to find them again. unfortunately the backpack was gone just like I suspected (my main stuff), but for some reason I found my Pokemon/Digimon fanart, a good batch of Super Mario drawings (vaguely remember doing these), my sister’s drawings and some other neighborhood kids’ drawings in a dirty box. I was partially happy I found something at least but it was the backpack I wanted the most. sometimes I regret not looking for the backpack (’cause I was too busy being a kid) but it’s alright, noone needs to see that shit anyway, ha ha. anyways, I recall being a fan of Rayman from 1999 ‘til 2002.

Sonic Adventure 2 Battle (bumped into this in the year of 2003) my second fandom I bumped into when I was 12 going on 13. at the time, my sister and I both liked the Sonic The Hedgehog Franchise based on the Battle remake and ended up making our own secret fanart club that consisted of only us two members. she liked Sonic (and that was her boyfriend, ha ha) and I liked Knuckles (and he was my boyfriend, ha ha) and we were crazy in love about Shadow’s backstory. we listened to the game’s soundtracks as we drew fanart and comics after school and man, those were good times. however, as we grew older towards the year of 2005, we ended up having separate rooms and I believe it played a part in disconnecting on the same interest. then one day, I asked her why she wasn’t into Sonic anymore and she replied, “Because I grew up.” I was sad after that and slowly observed that she was influenced by the emo culture and the new friends she’s made. I was the only member of our little club for a little longer...but eventually I moved on too. I still have some surviving fanart we did together but it doesn’t mean shit anymore since she turned out to be an abusive mother from the last I’ve heard of her. 

3. Gorillaz (bumped into this in the year of 2006). as the Sonic years were at its end, I first heard the song “Feel Good Inc” on Music Choice and seeing the first image of them as displayed on this post (except the fan-made background doesn’t count since I can’t find the original artwork). this was my third fandom and later had proper access to the internet to the website I still currently use called DeviantArt. at first I liked 2D but eventually fell for Murdoc and developed a spiritual connection towards the character as obviously seen in my old fanart and rare photos of my devotion shrines on Valentine’s Day and his birthday every year. for the longest time since being a permanent fan from 2006-2017 (11 1/2 years) I had no knowledge that it was a political propaganda band and other realizations I don’t want to talk about. I only followed them because it was a cartoon and not the bullshit behind the musical project. the world I’ve built and support for them for all those 11 1/2 years shattered the fuck out of me and I just wanted to be left alone to find myself again, somehow. activity stopped on all my profiles, the flow of fanart stopped since I now cringe from the fan service and felt I was used for my talent. I didn’t want to be reminded of it all so I took down all my Gorillaz fanart and archived them for old followers’ nostalgia but also in the hopes they’ll be forgotten in my timeline. I ceased to exist in the fandom for huge personal reasons but it’s best to not say why. I know for sure that the fandom wonders what happened but it’s none of their business. THE END.

4. Waluigi (although I knew he’s been around since 2000 during childhood, I took deep interest once I revisited the character again in the year of December 2013). as silly as this sounds, when I revisited him again, the character was so bizarre that I ended up staying up 3 nights and 3 days in a row just looking all over the internet on everything about him and the questionable “hush-hush” absence of a backstory. despite there being no backstory he slowly gained a cult following and in many ways it’s a good thing. however, since the early 2010′s tension has been building up between Nintendo and its fans about him starring in a main game but everyone hasn’t fully gotten it in their heads that it’s not gonna happen. as long as Nintendo is in control of that, the fandom will not win, I’m sorry to say. on the other hand, if it’s going to be this way, then that’s what fanart and comic projects are for. as for me, I am doing my very best to get my comic project “Waluigi Land” going. again, I apologize if it’s taking very long to get Chapter 2 going if you’ve been keeping track but aha moments need to develop before I start permanent drawing (since concepts, character design and storyline needed improvement badly). as of right now I am still a Waluigi fan and I will not quit on him.

5. Turbo from Wreck-It-Ralph (although it debuted in 2012, I watched the movie two years later into the year 2014). for some bizarro reason, I had an unhealthy obsession with this character to the point where I dressed up as him for Halloween 2014. only 2 fanarts of him and the Turbo Twins exist on my profiles, mainly because my mind was more focused on just ‘thinking about him’ or ‘being him’ rather than drawing physical drawings. luckily, this supposed alleged fandom didn’t last long a little after Halloween so I chalk it up as a very short phase. to this day I don’t know what has gotten over me about him. the only thing I can think of now is that I think it’s because the character had yellow eyes and teeth but I don’t know. now that I think of it, that little fucker was ugly as hell and I STILL don’t know what had gotten over me. one day, my brother mentioned what that was about, and I said to him, “I don’t wanna talk about it.”

6. Undertale (although it debuted in 2015, I later took interest in it in 2016). It was all about Sans and Papyrus. I couldn’t get enough of the skeleton bros. eventually Toriel and Mettaton EX became my favorites but it took a long time to draw more of all 4 of them because I had other important things to do in my life plus I was still waiting for the next Gorillaz album to revive my imaginative juices (or so I thought). I really want to have this as one of my frequent fandoms but I just don’t have time for it anymore. it’s still in the back of my head to want to draw them but at this point I still have other better interests to be in. and besides, I’m lazy just like Sans.

7. Cuphead (June 28th, 2017 was the official day I called quits on the British-based band Gorillaz due to the bullshit behind it. since that date I was lost, had no inspiration to look forward to and no cartoon guy to make me smile...but lo and behold of the same year, I took an interest in playing the game Cuphead and man...that shit was a frightening exaggerated metaphor for being on that one drug (forgot the name though) and having sex at the same time but man that was the best fun I’ve had in years. I mean, it’s like, enemies are just so happy to murder you and that scared the shit outta me. and the facial exaggeration?....I think I should stop, ha ha. anyways, the Moldenhauers saved my ass from spiraling down, they have no clue. anyways, eventually I became a permanent fan of their work so to ease the hurt and erase my past from the G-fandom I had to re-wire my brain into a different cartoon category that’s a rather more American, so anything Toon related like Roger Rabbit, Felix the Cat or another favorite that’s a western-based cartoon makes me feel better, especially my new man .......King Dice <3 <3<3<3. however, there was something about this new fandom category I still didn’t quite understand until the date March 14th, 2020. I finally understood what it was but I feel I shouldn’t bring it up. anyways, Cuphead and anything western or rubber hose is my last stop in inspiration for the remaining years of my life. many say never say never but I believe I’ve found my laughing place and that’s all that matters.

Madness draws: my dä fanart from when I had my (arts) comeback in 2018

For years I didn’t draw anything because of a personal (art crisis) and because I simply was studying and working so much I just had no energy left for arts.

In 2018 I was done with schools and studying and dropped out of the school I was in at that moment, and also the horse stable I was working at (school related stuff) was sold and closed its doors so also my work ended. For the first time in almost 5 years I was actually free. The longest holidays I had has was 3 weeks summer holiday in 2016, I think. I had another in 2017 but of that I actually was having health issues (nothing serious) for 2 weeks and then had to be in school for the 3rd one, after which I even got the flu.

So I was SO excited when I finally was free the first day of November in 2018. After I had got enough sleep and rest, I started to find my creativity again. And I started to “daydream” before falling asleep every night, I started to write fanfictions in my head and I started to draw, too. Partially it was also because for the first time in years I had an online friend I enjoyed talking with and we had similar interests, aka dä and Bela/Farin, and that inspired me a lot to draw even more - but unfortunately that friendship did not work out in the end and we’re no longer friends.

Anyway, most of these drawings are very much Bela/Farin related again because I talked about that a lot with this person and I often asked what they’d want to see and then drew it if the idea was something I could carry out.

This is not the first one I drew but maybe the 4th or so. I’m just putting this here first because it’s the most “innocent” aka not too much shippy stuff rubbed into the faces of my followers who don’t care about that. There’s 5 different drawings + 1 comic behind the read more link. All of these, apart from the comic, where drawn into my old sketchbook.

About the drawing above - I didn’t use pencil for these first ones at all yet, I just drew them with the fineliners as I was still a bit rusty as the last time I REALLY drew anything was in 2013 aka over 5 years ago from 2018, so I had to actually look at my old comics and drawings to even figure out how to draw these characters anymore. And I think the last actual time I drew in this style was in 2011 even. And that is very visible from the first 2018′s drawing I did! ↓↓↓

This is the one - and wait, I have an explanation!

So with this person I mentioned, we just constantly had this playful debate over whether Bela is “bottom” or not - and honestly I couldn’t care less about that because I no longer read any fanfics. I do write fanfics - or a fanfic - but only for myself and as an asexual I have never been interested in writing about certain themes so I never need to think about the whole top/bottom stuff anyway. I used to read smut before until I one day just realized it’s SO BORING and uninteresting to read, started skipping all smut scenes and wanted to read fluff but all the fluff was so quickly and badly written because everyone wanted to write smut only, that I was left with absolutely nothing to read. So it was the old story again: I started writing/drawing the stuff I wanted to read and see.

However, back to the top/bottom topic, I always base my opinions with everything over how things are in real life and with these guys, if you look at how they are in interviews and on stage, the dynamics are not just plain black&white. I’ve never seen there anything that would indicate that just one is “top” or “bottom” whatsoever which is why I kept saying imo they’re more like just switching if you listen to their jokes. Remember: I don’t read any fanfiction and don’t give a fuck about smut (lol at the pun) and honestly, even tho I understand those jokes they do and say on stage, I wish not to have any visuals about any of that “activity” in my head.

So, to support my “they switch!” opinion, I drew this, just for fun. And it is the official first drawing I did in 2018. I just needed to fire back bigger than I could do with simple text messages :D

Moving on. The person in question was very fascinated by the idea that Farin would be a vampire and not Bela (to support their top/bottom views...) which is why I drew this:

Also a very quick one, without sketching anything before drawing with fineliners. This and the first image of this post both are very small in real life actually, the signature is about the same size in every drawing so you can see from that that they are actually pretty small.

Talking of the signature: The funniest thing to me about this IS the signature. Because I was so rusty I didn’t even know how to write it anymore :DDD You can compare it to the signature in the other drawings because in them it’s better. Why it’s so funny to me is because it should say “Aada” but it looks more like “Hella” which means “stove” in Finnish.

Next one was something I saw in my head and wanted to draw - I think this one was also done without sketching it at first:

Kinda simple, right? :D I just wanted to draw something with heavy shadows and they’re meant to be watching TV at night. I guess it came out pretty okay.

The next two I drew based on one of my old fanfics I wrote years and years ago. I’m a bit annoyed that I decied to draw these into my SKETCHBOOK when I could have used just paper I use for drawing but I guess I didn’t know yet where I was going to end up with these and drew them into the sketchbook because of that. I thought I didn’t sketch these at first but I have found photos of these with sketched with pencil so that means I started sketching my drawings at this point.

So, back to the fanfic, it’s one of the longer ones I wrote (but still not that long even) and set to happen in the late 80s. There was some drama in the story because of Bela’s drug use and Farin was very harsh and Bela left altogether. For some time they had no idea where each of them were but then one very rainy night they both were on a walk at the same time and happened to stumble upon each other for the first time in weeks or so. I can still see those scenes so vividly in my head and here’s my artistic view over those scenes:

I have used my Promarkers with the second image, the paper was not the best for them which is why the black looks awful.

What comes to the image... it really annoys me to look at that because how the FUCK that is something I have drawn? And it’s legit based on something I have written. ME??? Like wtf. My aroace ass just can’t handle me writing/drawing fluff like this. I have days when I need to see fluff more than anything and then have to produce the content because can’t find it from anywhere else and my brain is simultaneously like “flufffff 8))))” and “boohoo whyyyyy how staaaaaph D:” because I am so afraid of being connected to what I draw. Like. If I draw or write fluff, it doesn’t mean I would be a romantic person nor allosexual nor alloromantic, right? Because I can also draw a comic or write a story about a murderer and it doesn’t make me a psychopath either. It’s the exact same thing.

And in fact: I had a comic book character who was called Micro the Insane Murderer because that’s what he was. Also I once wrote a story about a serial killer but she was also insane. But for whatever reason it’s much harder to show people fluff I have written or drawn than my fictional serial killer stuff... I guess people just easier assume that you’re an allo, thanks to anormativity, but usually don’t think you’re a psychopath just because your OC is :D

The last one is the comic that has a Halloween theme as it was around Halloween and the person I talked with still wanted to see/read something where Farin is the vampire instead. So here’s something that was my first B/F comic in 7 years. I didn’t remember how to do pretty much anything anymore and the coloring is a bit off, and I was really still just trying to figure out how to do all this again :D

At that point I think my head was still filled with fanfiction stuff so the comic also is full of (hurt/comfort) drama - and a long-ass “backstory”. You can see that from this on I have moved to more humorous stories. Sometimes I draw occassional fluffy comics when I’m really on that weird mood (usually 1-2 days/month thanks to the uterus and hormones), but my main focus is on the humour and I wish to make people laugh.

But that’s about it. I think I have now posted everything here, the newer ones I have posted here after drawing them since 2019 but this post is the “missing link” between those old old comics and the newer stuff :D Then I of course have all the other traditional art like potraits and such I did in 2009-2012 which I have never shown here. Maybe I should post those too?

Tenma’s feelings towards Sakuya were crush on first sight

I will never get over the fact that part of Tenma’s reason for joining for Mankai was because of Sakuya’s performance as Romeo

Sakuya’s feelings towards Tenma are admiration. Tenma’s been an actor for so long and Sakuya really loves talking to him about all the different roles Tenma’s had

Tenma asks Sakuya on dates but always chickens out in actually telling him that it’s a date

Instead Tenma tells Sakuya that it’s “leader meeting” but Banri and Tsumugi were too busy

Sakuya actually figures out that they’re actually dates after he talks to Harugumi but he doesn’t say anything to Tenma because he likes Tenma but doesn’t think that Tenma would like him like that so he just appreciates Tenma inviting him out.

Basically both Tenma and Sakuya treat those outings as dates but think that the other doesn’t think of it like that

Tenma fully expects to get a shovel talk when he and Sakuya officially start dating but he didn’t expect everyone and I mean literally everyone in Mankai gives him a shovel talk. Even his own troupe betrays him in this.

The biggest shovel talk surprise for Tenma was honestly Masumi because he didn’t think Masumi payed attention to Sakuya’s love life

Tenma has no idea that Natsugumi actually did give Sakuya a shovel talk because the leader of the shovel talk was Yuki and like hell is he telling the Hack he actually cares about him

Yuki has known about Tenma’s crush being an actual thing from when Tenma and Sakuya teamed up during the Halloween event and wore what was basically a couple’s costume

When Natsugumi found out about Tenma’s crush, they started going out of their way to support him

Kazunari has the bright idea of sending Tenma cute pictures of Sakuya all the time and gets all of Natsugumi involved

They keep trying to flirt with Sakuya for Tenma and Tenma is so embarrassed by their antics

Tenma has decided that all of Natsugumi are horrible wing men (what he doesn’t realize is that he’d be just as bad of a wing man as all of them)

Sakuya and Tenma are basically ray of sunshine and gay disaster

Okay this next thing has nothing to do with them in canon but everything to do with my huge slowburn sakuten au

The fandom started shipping their characters in the webshow Sakuya stars in as a flower spirit and Tenma guest starred in as a dragon and Tenma dies the first time he sees fanart of their characters in a romantic situation

I love these two so much. there’s a reason they’re my a3! otp outside of my sakuya harem agenda. thank you so much for sending me this ask!
