Watcher: "Actually... I have a part-time job... but I'm not that happy about it. I work as a partner to reporter for big events in colony. We're... doing fine, just boss is a little bit more into conversation than I can bear."

Gourmand: "Well, I'm honestly just thankful that such a concept is not something we often do. Permanently locking yourself to one thing sounds real bad. It clearly didn't treat the ancient civilization too well. For me, I would need something where I could work with others, while also expressing myself. But I could see a lot of appealing possibilities. Culinary arts, science, engineering, education… and a few more I might be forgetting."

Saint: "What is a job?"

Five Pebbles: "If I were not an iterator... maybe I would enjoy being a professor, or an archivist."

Seven Red Suns: "There are a number of things I enjoy observing and studying, but I particularly enjoy studying the various fauna I see. My time modifying my Messenger and the time I've subsequently spent with them in particular has sparked that interest, so I think I would enjoy being a biologist of some kind."

Eel Lizard: "I find that almost funny. Considering the world the way it is, I don't suppose many of the world's inhabitants necessarily need occupations, especially not a lizard like myself. However, I don't wish to leave you empty-handed. If I were to find myself in a field of work, as slim of a chance as it may be, I'd probably become a therapist. Are you surprised? A younger version of me always dreamed of it. To always help people in need. Give them an outlet. I doubt that's possible these days. Now all I am is a grumpy lonely lizard… as I've been told."

Well... I cannot show any images from this comic without running on spoilers for issue #1.

The art is pretty good. I have been reading a lot of material pencilled by Fero Pe lately, and he is definitely a very good Turtles artist.

Now about that story...

So Nightwatcher isn't just Jennika?

There is an actual soul in the machine?

I was left with many questions, but now I also understand why the captions were red in the first issue. How much of Nightwatcher is Jennika? Is she just lending her body and skills?

I cannot really answer much at the moment, but this gives me Azrael vibes.
