I never again want to hear anything Ryan Condal and co. doing a good job at adapting a finished story or that I am just crying because I picked a side.

They literally turned it into bullet points list which they cherry pick what goes in and what gets replaced by whatever rampant, rancid thought goes through their heads.

my most hated trope is when author writes a character, that frees slaves, defends his people from oppression but then villainizes this character terribly.

yes, this is about the darkling and show! daenerys what was the reason to make person do everything for his people and then make this person look “evil” by kvlling those who oppressed their people, by this I mean otkazat’sya, fjerdans who caught grisha children, women, tortured them, took them as prisoners to build the ice court, executed them and slavers in essos whom dany fed to her dragons, which was absolutely deserved.

and then by some reason rulers who did absolutely zero for their people (zoya and sansa, I’m looking at you) will be shown as “good rulers”🤡

no, fighting oppression is not fucking evil, you cannot just say “pls stop oppressing and executing people🥺🥺” cuz it WILL NOT stop, it will only get worse (speaking from experience)
