To Save the World (We first need to Pass the Desert)
read it on the AO3 at https://ift.tt/gxrPlma
by SleepingPenguin
There were many things Tsukasa thought would be his future. Wonderlands x Showtime would be a world famous troupe. If not, then he'd be a star actor. Maybe even be a teacher for uprising actors and pianists.
But no, the world just had to crumble apart and now he's taking care of a fire-scared teenage genius, a stubborn ninja, a neglected hero, an amnesiac construction worker, and a boy who never really grew up.
But Tsukasa's already practically a big brother to many of his friends, and boy, do they need a big brother right now.

Interlude IV: Showtime song but Ninjago cuz I have no self control
Christie is Nya
Zach is Lloyd
Juanita is Harumi
The people they killed are the ninja and they’re talking about how they “killed” them/let them die
Whenever I listen to this song I can’t help but think about an AU where:
After Lloyd saw the ninja die in S8 he snaps and after he leaves Harumi with Nya he goes to kill everyone in the SOG but right before he leaves to do so Nya stops him and they have this arguement insert song here and in the end Lloyd goes and does the deed killing all the SOG except Harumi instead forcing her to not only see everything she worked so hard for get destroyed right in front of her but leaving her to live with the guilt and consequences of her actions in jail.
After that Lloyd disappears for a couple of days only to be found in a cell at Kryptarium Prison that he put himself in.
After the ninja get back from the first realm and find out what happened they go to Kryptarium Prison to visit Lloyd but Lloyd thinks that he’s dreaming/hallucinating cuz he saw them die until they go into the cell and hug him and he cries and they cry and they comfort him and then Nya joins cuz she also missed all of them and then they all get therapy cuz Lloyd just saw his friends die and then murdered an entire cult/gang which isn’t really the best response to that kind of situation plus all the other crap he and the ninja went through throughout their lives in the previous seasons isn’t really a good combo.
So yeah I get all of that from a 1:44 minute song...
Cool I guess👌

Cursed: Cast and Details on Netflix Arthurian Series
https://ift.tt/2yGJIDT
Netflix will follow the teen-aged exploits of King Arthur’s Lady of the Lake character in Cursed.
facebook
twitter
tumblr
Netflix is pulling a sword from a stone in its upcoming original series, Cursed. Based on King Arthur’s Lady of the Lake, the project comes from comic book writer/artist Frank Miller (The Dark Knight Returns, Sin City) and Puss in Boots writer/producer Tom Wheeler. The 10-episode series is based on Miller and Wheeler's upcoming illustrated young adult book, Cursed.
Cursed put a twist on the King Arthur legend, told through the eyes of the Excalibur-bestowing enchantress, the Lady of the Lake. The character is depicted here as a teenager, named Nimue, with a mysterious gift, and the coming-of-age series showcases her path to destiny. According to the plot description (via Variety), after her mother dies, Nimue joins a young mercenary named Arthur, on his quest to find the magician Merlin and deliver an ancient sword. The future Lady of the Lake become a symbol of courage and rebellion against the “terrifying Red Paladins, and their complicit King Uther."
In the latest news, a new official image from Cursed has arrived from Netflix, showing star Katherine Langford in her role as eventual Lady of the Lake, Nimue, which you can check out in full just below. Additionally, a major character for the series has been cast.
Cursed Cast
Bella Dayne has just joined the cast of Cured as a series regular, reports Deadline. She will play Red Spear, described as “a regal and ruthless Viking captain, with an eye for treasure…loyal to no one, the Red Spear and her crew raid villages along the coast of Britain, until a Fey stowaway boards her ship and entangles their fates.”
Dayne, a German actress, recently co-starred on the BBC’s Troy: Fall of a City in the crucial role of Helen of Troy. She’s also fielded TV runs on AMC/Channel 4’s Humans, FX’s Trust and Showtime/Sky Atlantic’s Guerilla, as well as guest spots on shows like Amazon’s The Man in the High Castle, CBS’s Person of Interest, ABC’s The Goldbergs and FX’s American Horror Story.
Katherine Langford will star in Cursed as Nimue, as Deadline reported back in September 2018. The role will serve as a quick Netflix homecoming for Langford, who, for two seasons, has starred on the streaming giant’s controversial teen drama, 13 Reasons Why as the posthumous-video-providing self-martyred teen, Hannah Baker. That series returns for Season 3, sans Langford. Yet, with momentum from 13 Reasons Why, Langford, an Aussie actress, banked movie appearances in director (and Arrowverse CW TV maestro,) Greg Berlanti’s recent rom-com, Love Simon, as well as the comedy-drama, The Misguided. While she had to see her role cut from the newly-crowned all-time box office topper, Avengers: Endgame, she will next be seen in director Rian Johnson's November-scheduled mystery movie, Knives Out.
The cast also consists of Devon Terrell (The Professor, Ophelia), Peter Mullan (Ozark, Westworld), Lily Newmark (Sex Education, Solo: A Star Wars Story), Gustaf Skarsgard (Vikings, Westworld).
Cursed Details
“I have always been entranced by the mythological Arthur story—and by Nimue, in particular,” said Frank Miller said in a statement after the book announcement, per CBR. “It can be interpreted in any number of ways — from a delightful children’s story, as in The Sword in the Stone, to a terrifying interpretation like Excalibur. This tale represents an incredible opportunity and an exciting challenge for me as an illustrator, and I’m excited to collaborate on the story with Thomas Wheeler. I inherited a collection of antique children’s books from my mother, and I’ve always wanted to have a crack at it myself. This project is a dream come true.”
Miller, who co-directed Sin City with Robert Rodriguez, also wrote the graphic novels Ronin, Daredevil: Born Again, and 300. He created the character Elektra for Marvel Comics’ Daredevil series, and the character Carrie Kelley for DC Comics. Miller wrote and directed The Spirit, which was based on the Will Eisner comic book series.
Wheeler co-wrote Lego: Ninjago Movie for Warner Brothers. He also is currently writing the sequel to the Shrek spinoff Puss in Boots. Michael Bay will direct his original screenplay Vostok for Paramount Pictures. He worked on the screenplay for August's Dora and the Lost City of Gold.
Cursed Release Date
Cursed doesn't have a specific release date yet, with Netflix only teasing a release for sometime in 2020.
However, Simon & Schuster Children’s Publishing will release the Cursed graphic novel on October 1.

Tonight the Lego Ninjago Movie earned itself 4 giant ninja mechs outta five. I kinda just saw this because it happened to have a really convenient showtime for me and I didn't expect much because I thought it'd be like the Ninjago show - it isn't and I enjoyed it a lot! It's everything you expect from Lego movies. It's funny and charming and rather heartwarming. Kids and adults would enjoy!

New in theaters - 9/22/17
Here’s what’s new in theaters this weekend and if they’re any good, complete with links to showtimes and tickets. All scores and descriptions from Rotten Tomatoes.
Kingsman: The Golden Circle - Kingsman: The Golden Circle offers more of everything that made its predecessor so much fun, but lacks the original's wild creative spark. Showtimes and tickets
The Lego Ninjago Movie - In this big-screen NINJAGO adventure, the battle for NINJAGO City calls to action young Master Builder Lloyd, aka the Green Ninja, along with his friends, who are all secret ninja warriors. Led by Master Wu, as wise-cracking as he is wise, they must defeat evil warlord Garmadon, The Worst Guy Ever, who also happens to be Lloyd's dad. Showtimes and tickets
Friend Request - Friend Request's attempts to update old-school teen horror for the digital age do not, sadly, include memorable characters, fresh scares, or novel storytelling twists. Showtimes and tickets
Battle of the Sexes - Battle of the Sexes turns real-life events into a crowd-pleasing, well-acted dramedy that ably entertains while smartly serving up a volley of present-day parallels. Showtimes and tickets
Stronger - Stronger rises on the power of its well-chosen ensemble to offer an emotionally resonant fact-based story that transcends inspirational drama clichés. Showtimes and tickets
Still playing:
It 85%
American Assassin 34%
mother! 67%
Home Again 32%
The Hitman’s Bodyguard 40%
