Rewatched the 2004 Phantom of the Opera bc I remembered it existed but I spent like the whole movie getting increasingly dismayed over how normal Erik looked so I decided to draw a more, eh, lore accurate version? at least according to his description in the novel

this fandom pairs gavin and the rk900 dude like theres no tomorrow, which is lovely, follow ur bliss, happy for you. i want that same energy for north and kara. they are sampling from parallel water wells, they are running on similar batshit frequencies. north like 'what if we blow their ass up' (iconic of her) and kara like 'i'll run straight into high-velocity traffic man i'll fucking do it' (and then she did it) like these two women. repeatedly exposed to apathy, violence, cruelty. repeatedly wiped of their memories to keep them passive in the face of constant abuse. what if they met and held hands and raised alice to be their madmax pipe-bomb slinging baby . anyone.

luffy gets a girlfriend

He is blissfully unaware of this fact, however. He meets Torao at work, he's a firefighter and she's a doctor. She stitched up a cut on his arm and he gets hungry, spontaneously invites her to eat and she accepts, probably hungry too (or totally thinking that the cute guy with the stupid smile is asking her out).

They go out several times after that, usually with Luffy showing up at the hospital randomly, either injured or bringing in a patient, or simply to bother Torao because he was bored.

Luffy gets a new (girl) friend.

They're weird friends, though, because one day Torao just leaned in and kissed him. On the lips! And he liked it for some reason, so they kissed countless more times.

And sometimes things get too hot when they kiss and one thing leads to another and- well, they had sex. Several times. Which is weird, because Luffy definitely has no desire to kiss, much less have sex, with his other friends. But it works, so he just classifies them as weird friends.

He's pretty sure they're NOT lovers, because neither he nor Torao made fancy proposals, with roses, candles, fancy dinner and fancy rings, like Sanji and most TV shows tell, so, definitely weird friends.

And its okay, he likes being weird friends with Torao :D

(They're totally dating and no one believes Luffy when he says they're just friends. Because he shares his meat with Law, he actually, like, listens to her opinion instead of just doing what he wants, he takes her side in arguments no matter how obviously wrong she is, he fights with Ace, physically, when his brother says Law should get out of Luffy's life.They are totally dating, Luffy has a girlfriend, it doesn't matter that he doesn't know it.)

Having finished the Book of Bill, I have some thoughts. Nothing detailed, just as it pertains to my writing mostly!

First: Fuck Yeah, that was great! And my congratulations to Billford shippers for being so well fed.

Could have used more Dipper info but hey, I'm biased!

Second: Knowing that Bill is so absolutely fucked up by destroying his dimension is excellent. I'm tempted to hop back on the Whump sequel now, because goddamn. You know that guy wouldn't just be upset about losing something he cares about. Again. He'd go absolutely unhinged.

Another thing that's amusing to me is that, in Familiar AU, the reincarnation setup was accomplished by Bill going to the Axolotl.

I'm just amused at the idea of said extremely powerful being being rather nonplussed that Bill's actually like... Forming connections (healthy ones!! even if it's just one person for now) 'Cause a big theme in the book is he has No Idea how to do that. At All. Along with all the 'burned own dimension to a crisp' PTSD.

I can only imagine said salamander is Very Surprised! Likely because he thought that only Literal Death would bring Bill even close to reforming.

(Bill protests he's NOT reforming shit; Dipper wonders what he's gotten himself into. Again)

Poor Dipper. Thought he'd be able to be Perfectly Normal and Fit In by casting a quick little familiar spell, and ends up being a multi-lived Emotional Support Human to an insane interdimensional criminal.

The only one that could possibly be canon to Ink is Swap if we take into consideration the canceled comic Comyet did a long while back! And the art Comyet has done with Ink and Error I'm 99% sure is just a what-if, not canon interpretation on how they think they possibly would interact together

Everytime I see someone with their full chest exclaim how the dream twins or Error are canon to ink I internally die inside I'm sorry
