Tumblr media
Satan: The Unicorn
- I think he should look more beastly overall like hes some wild creature that just emerged from the forest
- His pants should look like hooves like those bellbottom esque fuzzy ish pants like
Tumblr media
Shout out to someone in 1545 ig. Unicornis
Also spots should look more like. Horselike like speckled or splotchy
- Has two black stars and one green in the middle on his forehead
1. As a reference to Lucifer who created him and
2. A reference to how biblically unicorns were out of control beasts that could only be tamed by a virgin maiden (honestly im a lil tempted to write a fic of satan x sweet innocent reader but gn. Goodbye even)
- HES A UNICORN HE SHOULD HAVE A UNI HORN PLEAADEEE 😭😭😭 they should be a similar shape to Lucifer’s but one short one and should be able to summon a longer one below where the star diamond is on his forehead is when he gets pissed enough and both should be black with green tips + it would actually make him look more vicious too
- I appreciate them making the little bow look like ribs but I think it would be much cooler if his ribs just were sticking out and wrapping around his body and they were black and green
- Ribs should also have patches of fur resembling flames where they start (near his back or at his sides)
- I also think his tail should have short rugged fur lining the outside and it should get longer at the tip; I’m going heavy on the beast agenda I fear. He may clean up pretty well in his human form but he can’t hide his sin in his demon form cmon now y’all
- Since we don’t see his markings I’m making shit up and I think his markings should be fur lining his back and arms
- Just wanna say I resemble the fur wrap thing because it kinda resembles a horse tail/mane and the gray shirt bc it resembles a rhino (What unicorns in the bible were based on I think)
- A bit insecure about you seeing his demon form tbh. Thinks he will scare you and a little afraid he might do sth he’ll regret if he loses himself; he sees himself as beastly in that form, anger is a hideous emotion and he doesn’t want to scare his loved ones away like he used to when he was first born and always lashed out with full force, scaring his brothers (Don’t get me wrong if he’s angry he’ll show it but he wont let all of his anger out at least not at once and if he has to do sth drastic he’ll first isolate himself)
- Very nearsighted but refuses to get glasses and only wears them when reading (glasses are weakness)
- Bulks up a bit and gains more strength in his demon form frs
- Snarls when hes angry and sometimes sneezes in the middle of his anger often (it would be funny)
- Pact mark is only visible on your temple but internally spans throughout your veins and is not very big but grows the angrier you get post activation; that shit is freaky it can even cover your whole face and put your body in autopilot (like how anger issues people black out) if you get angry enough
- It’s pretty wicked its first shaped like a small spade but bulges like flesh; is similar to tanjiro’s mark somewhat
Tumblr media
- Pact mark allows him to enhance your rage by giving you some of his own (can be a pro or con depending on the situation but i mean u can just tell him to stop iykyk policy)
Tumblr media
Asmodeus: The Scorpion
- I THINK HE SHOULD BE VAMPIRIC Feeds on sexual energy and life force yk incubus/succubus thingz but he should have the fangies too imo
- Tired of them having collars and looking prim and proper so I’ve arbitrarily decided that his shirt should conjoin with his skin and become kind of like calcharos ult for VERY loose reference; hes the avatar of lust he can be shirtless ish
Tumblr media
- IK I SAID NTM ON THE CLOTHES BUT UGHHH Imagine if he was wearing like a robe similar to aphrodite bc its like a nod to his past as a high angel but also how he’s steeped in desire and lust. Like its being held up by the roses, sheer will and the fact that it is conjoined with his skin
- Hc that he is like cupid and can see connections between people SO I think his spine should be lined with like. Arrow-like spines
- Despite being like cupid, he finds it really hard to genuinely connect people and find someone who enjoys his presence beyond his looks and will typically avoid people on his recharge days (he likes partying and being around people but its also pretty draining keeping people entertained which is why he usually brings someone with him. I also imagine this is how he and Levi connect “I guess we aren’t so different after all” type shi)
- He should have a tail. I thought about it for a while and like. ???? Scorpions tails are like their whole thing I think he should either have a tail or towards the bottom of his spines one of them is long enough to resemble a tail (his wings are cool but like he should have a. Tail)
- Tail/spines should have venom
- I think his markings should be connected, like the hearts are good but they should be connected in like a segmented line and wrap around his arm; preferably 7 to represent the scorpions seven chamber heart
- He needs glasses too and he only wears them when they go with his outfit otherwise its contacts (which he also introduced satan to)
- He should have more eyes on his face smaller eyes below his main two that only appear when open (otherwise his face looks normal just with slight slits you’d only notice if u were REALLY staring)
- Very tolerant to weather changes. He still acts like he’s dying but he def doesn’t have it as bad as Levi who is literally dying over there
- Pact mark is a tramp stamp and he won’t stop asking to see it gn. Its shaped like a hollowed heart with a design inside and becomes a spade with a similar design when activated as well as spreads a bit (as all the others do) its very classy and pretty tbh
- Activation is almost like. Erotic? It feels good but its almost like it steals the air from your lungs and makes your chest tighten; its a mix of pleasure and panic (not quite pain because it gives you urgency but not so much that it makes you want to stop) Unfortunately this isn’t something that really wears off but rather wears down and just becomes leas intense as you get used to it/stronger
- Pact mark allows him to shapeshift into you and anyone who you have had a sexual or romantic encounter with
Tumblr media
Beelzebub: The Fly
- MOUTHS ALL OVER: A mouth on his forhead where his horn comes out of and the markings spread across his body can open, revealing mouths (def gotta have some on his hands I fear. Can also change the locations of his markings and can consume things such as magical energy through his mouths
- Should be able to create a third horn in the middle of his forehead to make his horns appear like a crown (Lord of the flies had a teeny lil crown its a bit funny)
- Should have more fur aspects like his wings should have fur at the base and around the outline maybe
- His markings should be furry and the fur makes it look like they’re black flames 🔥
- Should have four wings that appear like two until he gets ready for takeoff, to which they spread out real wide
- Ik he’s a really simple guy so his design is simple too but I think he’s just missing some of that demonic flair. He should have insect arms that he can control (they might look like sticks but they’re actually very strong and useful)
- Always wants to be around you. Always. Even though he moves insanely fast he always loops back around to match your pace
- A bit colorblind and nearsighted but is fast enough to make up for it
- Almost never gets sick but he’s usually the one who brings sickness in the house so his brothers have to make sure he cleans off before coming in 😭 (I imagine demons don’t get sick in the traditional way but its typically some behavioral or magical illness like a common cold for suc/incubi causing like them to be less efficient in seducing humans; like how asmo has his power with his eyes maybe his vision gets blurry for a few months/years or it makes HIM fall for the person he was trying to seduce)
- Lucifer has had to ban him from the kitchen because he kept eating food that already went bad especially if he was sleepwalking
- Can make a protein shake/smoothie out of anything !!!! No matter how erm. Odd the combination
- Always rubs his hands together and licks his lips before eating a meal
- I would like to propose….. him being in charge of the Devildom air force like how Levi is in the navy…. Ik ik came outta nowhere but Flies having those big ass eyes gave me the idea to out goggles on him that look like Fly eyes and then I was like ok well what if that was for when he’s flying and here we are
- OK STAY WITH ME NOW. He used to do the equivalent of illegal drag racing but flying and Belphie would always bet on him and thats how they made food money for Beel sometimes until Lucifer shut the whole thing down after finding out bc its a bad look for Diavolo he also doesn’t want his baby brother getting hurt but he wont say that (Belphie thought he was a killjoy)
- To him. It feels like wherever he goes death and despair follow and has gotten stronger and stronger so that no one close to him will ever die again (“I should’ve been strong enough so that the safest place for her would be by my side” -Marius von Hagen [he makes me so emotional]) (If you’re wondering how this is related its because flies symbolize triumph over adversity as well as death and decay)
- Pact mark is right on top of your stomach (above the bellybutton) and it looks like two triskelions (three wheeled spiral) stacked over each other to create six wheels as a reference to his prior angelhood but as well as a nod to his transformation
- Activation costs you a lot of energy and it feels like you’re starving like you haven’t eaten all day even if you just ate a hearty meal (you go back to normal a bit after activation but its a little maddening while its taking place)
- He can possess your body for a limited amount of time (typically only accidentally triggers this power) during this time any damage that his body takes transfers to you and vice versa (tbh this is much more risky for him than you bc his body is extremely strong so he’ll only take minimal damage but it’s a gamble with you)
- He can also steal some of the nutrients from your body so um. I’d be careful of that (he won’t ever actually do it but now that your bodies are connected he can)
Tumblr media
Belphegor: The Cattle
- STOP SHOWING HIS FUXKINH EYE BEHIND HIS EMO HAIR/ sorry had to get that off my chest. It coulddd be something that could make him more eerie and off putting like a demon but his whole thing is that he looks cute and sweet but is actually intelligent and dangerous so maybe just. It shows in his demon form only if anything
- He should have a bell on his tail. It would be kewt. Not something he inherently has but he wags his tail in his sleep often so the brothers put it on him so they don’t trip over him (he hates it but he’s too tired to gaf)
- He should be more fuzzy too like having his right arm have an arm warmer rather than that sleeve that doesn’t even look connected like. Also theres a mix of fuzz and thorns on his person. It’s a gamble. Proceed with caution.
- His boots should be more like hooves kinda like what I said for satan but boots and more comfy looking
- They were way too shy with his cow spots imo. I think it should almost look like he has vitiligo (but with more melanin rather than less yk)
- HE SHOULD HAVE A LITTLE EARRING THAT LOOKS LIKE THE CATTLE TAG
- Got a nose piercing (septum I think?) after learning about piercings in the human world but doesn’t use it much anymore
- Nitpicky but I think his horns should end while sticking forward rather than curling out all the way to resemble a bull thats ready to charge
- Appreciating the fact that he has four belts likely to represent the four chambers of cows’ stomachs
- Separation anxiety victim NUMBER ONE. Especially after Lilith died he’s gotten so anxious being without his loved ones and never really wants to leave their sides bc he never knows when they’ll be gone
- He is Beel’s eyes and probably has the best vision in the family tbh 25/20 vision fr
- A lil colorblind though; affects his drawings and when levi asks him to doodle with him he always uses a unique set of colors (hes grabbing at them randomly)
- Likes to just watch his brothers socialize and be with them. An observer in his own home. The only reason he gets out of bed everyday is to see the people he cares about most
- Likes silly little puzzles, games and toys like rubix cubes and bouncy balls n shi but gets annoyed if you just give it to him and expect him to play by himself like !!!!! Keep him company !!!!!!!!!
- When he was trapped in the attic Lucifer would sometimes bring him enrichment toys and fill him in on current news or just sit there in silence to keep him company while turned away from him (If he looks at him too long he might fold and let him out; he loves his brother but. He thinks this is what needs to be done)
- Pact mark is on your thigh probably snug on the inside and whenever he’s laying on your lap he looks at it and maybe traces it before drifting off
- It probably looks like a symbol of a moon or spiral inside of a sun representing the midnight sun and the neutrality of the sloth sin (a sun that never rises or sets)
- Can sap your energy and make you see hallucinations or make you want to sleep; can probably put you in hibernation as long as it doesn’t hurt you and can eat your nightmares # dreamcatcher

Random Wilmon headcanons pt. 1
A few of my, many, Wilmon headcanons for our favourite fictional couple! I will probably end up doing another post at some point.
After completing their high school education they’ll move in together either in Stockholm or Copenhagen, before going to university
Simon will probably study music, anthropology, or social studies.
Wilhelm studies either psychology or something with business.
Wilhelm did ballet as a kid and therefor he is really flexible.
Simon had long hair when he was younger, and he is seriously considering growing it back out.
Wilhelm will often, unconsciously, twirl a piece of Simons hair around his finger when they’re sat next to each other.
Simon gets nauseous easily and will get carsick within minutes.
Wilhelm suffers from almost chronic shoulder pain due to being tense with anxiety.
Simon sometimes suffers from migraines that will have him curled up in pain and throwing up. Wille will dutifully hold the puke bowl and rub his temples for him.
Wilhelm struggles with falling asleep and especially without Simon.
After getting back together for good, Simon has a hard time being away from Wille. Simon finally feels able to show all of himself, be vulnerable and share his emotions with somebody, and Wille has become his safe place.
Simon has always been Willes safe place, and now that nothing can tear them apart any longer, he makes sure to be the same for Simon.
Neither om them likes the dark, so they have a little star shaped night light plugged in every night.
Simon doesn’t feel comfortable using public restrooms and needs Wille to stand outside the door waiting for him.

Chapter 5 This couple, coffin talk
cw: flashback lesson 16 OM
The first time you died was during your first school year in the Devildom.
You have felt bad for him, being stuck in this stuffy attic all by himself. He had reached out to you early on, a whisper in the night, urging you up the stairs. That Lucifer tried to stop you only fueled your curiosity.
The big bad brother who locked the youngest up after an argument. Of course, you made pacts with the other five brothers to break the magical lock to the attic.
He was so grateful, pulling you into a warm embrace.
He hugged you tightly.
“You humans really are foolish, idiotic, weak creatures, aren’t you?”
Tighter.
You couldn’t move.
“Hehe. Does it hurt? Finding it hard to breathe? I’m sure it must be very unpleasant.”
Tighter.
“You’re so stupid that I can’t help but laugh. Don’t blame me for tricking you, blame yourself for falling for it.”
Tighter.
“I hate humans. I hate them more than anything in the three worlds-”
Your ribcage cracked, puncturing your insides.
“And I hate you!”
Why this particular scene flashed before your eyes, you didn’t know for you had already forgiven him. The time you sacrificed yourself for Lucifer or several other instances you had put yourself in immediate danger would have left a better taste in your mouth.
Now, a scythe's polished, pointy tip was millimeters away from your face. It would have pierced through your left orbit if you didn’t bend backward the time and way you did thanks to Luke’s blessing no doubt. The sharp edge of the death dealer ominously glistened in the candlelight.
“Didn’t you know that curiosity killed the cat, my dear?” a voice croaked to your right, amusement resonating within. From your peripheral vision, you could see his dark boots that had no business having this many belts (nor him having legs this long).
“But satisfaction brought it back,” you breathed out, voice shaky. A bead of sweat of fear trickled down your temple as the rapid beating of your heart continued.
Undertaker chuckled and pulled the scythe away from you, lovingly grazing the smooth side of the cutting blade. You stared at the tool that was not designed to cut grass or harvest grains. It had the shape of an elongated bone structure; the edge of the blade ended in a skull that was decorated with thorns around the forehead and the shaft went directly into the skeletal thorax with all its components.
He held out his free hand for you to take, pulling you upward. His skin felt weird to the touch, neither warm nor cold. Just like Thirteen’s. Undertaker gently turned your hand, thumb striking over the seal on the back before letting go, making you wonder if he recognized the sigil that proved your affiliation with the Sorcerer’s Society or the ring of light around on your finger. He eventually took a step backward, giving you a moment to ogle him.
Actually, without being fully veiled by his black overcoat, revealing a matching dark robe, and without his crooked top hat Undertaker even kind of looked … attractive there and then. His choice of clothing and jewelry was interesting for his time, if not ahead of it.
Moreover, with the murder weapon at hand, he didn’t look like a demented oddball anymore but the personified harbinger of death. A grim reaper, a Shinigami.
Oh.
Oh.
Now you knew he recognized you as a sorcerer and some other things about him started to make sense.
Undertaker stored his scythe away, locking the closet with a satisfying click. His lips were curled upwards when he turned back around. Since his bangs covered the upper half of his face, you couldn’t read his true emotions.
/I wonder if he has phosphorescent eyes, too./
“Heh, be more careful when snooping around, unless you’re dying to experience my coffins firsthand,” Undertaker said, snickering at his own little pun at the end.
“Err, it’s definitely not on my bucket list for 1888. Dying ain’t fun,” you quickly denied, mumbling the last part. You awkwardly rubbed your sweaty neck when you felt him staring from behind his long bangs.
Wait, he couldn’t know what a bucket list is, couldn’t he?
“A bucket list is a to-do list before ‘kicking the bucket’,” you quickly explained.
The mortician hummed “Interesting choice of words. Although, even if it’s the basis of my work, I understand death is undesirable - but - maybe such topics should be discussed over a cuppa and biscuits, don’t you think? You’re still shaken.”
This is how you ended up sitting on one of his coffins across from him, a measuring beaker with black tea in hand.
Undertaker, who sat cross-legged on another death box, held out a black urn toward you, silently instructing you to take whatever was inside. Having lived in the Devildom for so long nothing food-related should and could surprise you anymore.
Still, you must have looked baffled when you fished a biscuit in the form of a dog bone from the alienated cookie jar because the silver-haired man let out a little cackle. “Go ahead, they’re delicious, I promise~”
He was right, they were! The sweet taste was welcomed after your near-death experience.
“Gosh, you need to give me the recipe for these. I’ve got some baking-loving friends back home.”
“Hmm, I might, if you pay me with a good laugh, of course,” he answered cheekily, bouncing his crossed-over leg.
“Wait, for real? … Let me think about one…”
Undertaker waited patiently, munching on his treat.
“Okay, you see, my favorite childhood memory is building sandcastles with my dear grandfather – well, that was until my mother took his ashes away.”
Turned out that simultaneously eating and laughing was not a good idea.
The silver-haired choked on the cookie as the laugh got stuck in his throat, bending over, battering his chest with suppressed giggles (why) while you shot up in a panic, refilling his cup. “Oh my god, are you alright?”
He made a gesture of refusal with his hand, knocking the beverage back.
“That was a killer, young Miss,” he said once you two calmed down, acting like nothing happened.
“I have yet to ask what I owe the pleasure. I assume you're still busy with the murder case, hm?”
You lowered the recipe Undertaker gave you beforehand, regarding him with a mirthful grin. “Nope. I was gift hunting for the family and ended up in front of your store by chance. Maybe it was fate? For the article, well, I don't think the Queen's cute little watchdog would let us publish anything remotely true once he finds out who Jack the Ripper is.”
Undertaker’s lips curled into a grin as well “Oh, you figured it out?”
“Yep. Yesterday's event confirmed our suspicion. Not that you sound surprised at all, tho.”
“I had a feeling you’ll succeed. I’m sure the young Earl won’t be far behind for he is the good lapdog of Her Majesty.”
You made a face “Never have I imagined a child being responsible for resolving the disruption of the general society. Seriously, putting himself in danger like that.”
“And that collar will choke him someday,” Undertaker said, his voice dropping an octave. “If not for his self-imposed duty, his butler will certainly be his undoing.”
“Well, if the Earl can’t find a way to circumvent his contract, that is, even for a certain amount of time. Employers tend to find a way to go around their agreements, so it’s technically not impossible.”
The mortician tapped his lips with his index. A grimoire - he hadn’t considered this possibility for they are seldom found. It would require Sebastian Michaelis’ true name and free access to Hell. However, different matters solicited his attention; exempli gratia Karnstein, so he would keep your words in mind. An interesting human you were; just maybe …
A low vibrating sound broke his thoughts.
“Shit, I hate to cut our talk short but…” you said, eyes fixating on the screen of the D.D.D. you halfway pulled out of your dress pocket “...look at the time. Sata- err, my husband is expecting me soon and I still have to make the way back.”
You pushed the phone back and walked up to him.
“Thank you for the tea and cookies. I don’t know how long we’ll stay in London but I hope we meet again before we leave.”
You gave Undertaker your brightest smile, surprising the Shinigami but he gently held your outstretched hand. Hands he had taken souls with.
“Likewise, young lady. Be careful on your way back. You never know what lurks around the corner.”
“Noted!”
You took your bag from where you nearly met your untimely end and walked to the door. Grabbing the knob, you turned your head backward.
Feeling bold, you let a slight gust of wind whip around his face, revealing his odd green eyes that widened slightly at your display of magic. Proud of yourself, you winked and waved goodbye, your smile branding itself into his mind.
Laugher filled his empty store.
“What an interesting sorcerer~”

Hello folks! Writing this chapter was really hard for some reason and I struggled with the decision of putting a scene in or not. As you can see, this chapter is rather short, meaning I cut a scene out. It involved the harassment of MC. (In Victorian London some men were pathetic and walked up to unaccompanied women, even from higher ranks, assuming they were streetwalkers. In this case, the reader would have been approached by Grell with the idea in mind to make the case more personal. I'm not sure I handled this well enough in my draft, so here we are)

Creating a Divine Atmosphere with WeDezine: Fresh Ideas for Your Home Temple
At WeDezine, we believe that a home temple should be more than just a spiritual sanctuary – it should be a place where design, functionality, and tranquility merge to create a sacred space for peace and devotion. Whether you envision a cozy meditation nook or an elaborate prayer room, WeDezine offers personalized interior design solutions to help you create a divine atmosphere. Here are some of our innovative ideas to elevate your home temple, combining timeless traditions with modern design trends.
1. Thoughtful Space Planning with WeDezine
Choosing the right spot for your home temple is key to fostering a serene ambiance. At WeDezine, we emphasize creating a temple space that feels separate from the hustle and bustle of daily life, ideally in the east or northeast corner of your home to channel positive energy. Whether you have a spacious home or need to work within a compact area, we provide expert advice on optimizing your layout. From cleverly utilizing corners to designing wall-mounted shrines, we ensure your temple fits seamlessly into your home while remaining a tranquil retreat.
2. Curating Soothing Color Palettes
Colors are powerful in shaping the atmosphere of any space, and WeDezine excels at curating the perfect palette for your home temple. We recommend soft, calming hues such as whites, light yellows, and pastels that evoke purity and peace. For those who appreciate traditional aesthetics, we can incorporate deeper tones like maroons or earth shades for a grounded, spiritual environment. Our expert designers can also introduce elegant gold accents or sophisticated wood finishes to add a luxurious touch without compromising the temple’s sacred vibe.
3. Bringing Nature Indoors
At WeDezine, we’re passionate about biophilic design – integrating nature into interior spaces to promote well-being. For your home temple, we use natural materials like wood, stone, or marble for a divine and enduring look. Hand-carved deity idols, wooden altars, and marble floors are some of our specialty offerings, designed to enhance the spiritual essence of your space. Adding greenery, like a potted tulsi plant or bamboo, further purifies the atmosphere and symbolizes growth and harmony.
4. Lighting Design for a Divine Glow
Lighting is a fundamental part of setting the right mood in your home temple. WeDezine focuses on creating a warm, inviting ambiance using soft lighting solutions that radiate calmness. From traditional brass lamps and hanging lanterns to discreet modern LED fixtures that highlight your deity idols, our custom lighting designs enhance both the spiritual and aesthetic appeal of your temple. Natural light is also a priority in our designs, helping to create an open, peaceful environment where the divine energy flows freely.
5. Smart Storage Solutions with Style
A well-organized temple enhances its spiritual energy. WeDezine integrates sleek, custom storage solutions that maintain the clean and clutter-free atmosphere essential for your home temple. Whether it’s concealed drawers for religious texts, incense sticks, and puja items, or wall-mounted shelves designed with elegance, we create practical, space-saving options that keep your temple both functional and serene.
6. Sacred Art and Symbolism
Personalizing your temple with sacred symbols and artwork can enrich the spiritual energy of the space. WeDezine offers customized wall art featuring deities, mandalas, and sacred symbols like the Om or Lotus, each designed to complement your temple’s aesthetic. Our designers work with local artisans to create bespoke pieces that reflect your personal beliefs while adding an artistic touch to your home temple. These subtle, yet impactful decor elements make your space feel both sacred and stylish.
7. Creating a Tranquil Atmosphere with Aromatherapy
WeDezine recognizes the power of scent in enhancing spirituality. We incorporate fragrant elements such as incense burners, essential oil diffusers, and fresh flower arrangements to complete the sensory experience of your home temple. Traditional scents like sandalwood, jasmine, and rose are used to elevate the sense of devotion and serenity. For added tranquility, we can also design water features or incorporate small fountains that bring the soothing sound of flowing water into your sacred space.
8. Minimalist Temple Design for Modern Homes
If you prefer a contemporary design, WeDezine specializes in minimalist home temples that are sleek, simple, and elegant. Our modern temple designs focus on clean lines, uncluttered spaces, and refined finishes, ensuring that your temple integrates harmoniously into your home’s overall aesthetic. We blend traditional elements with a modern approach, such as combining a marble altar with a modern brass lamp or opting for simple wooden panels with subtle lighting. The result is a tranquil space that reflects both modern sensibilities and deep spirituality.
9. Personalizing Your Sacred Space
At WeDezine, we believe your home temple should be a personal reflection of your faith and spiritual journey. Our team collaborates with you to create a customized design that incorporates meaningful elements, whether it’s family heirlooms, traditional relics, or custom-made deity idols. We can also add a meditation seating area with comfortable cushions, install an audio system for devotional music, or design a dedicated shelf for your collection of spiritual books. Every detail is thoughtfully considered to make your temple uniquely yours.
10. The WeDezine Experience: Crafting Sacred Spaces with a Modern Touch
At WeDezine, we combine traditional wisdom with cutting-edge design to create home temples that are not only spiritually uplifting but also visually stunning. "The Route." Introduction to the Brihad Jabala Upanishad, "the Exploration of the Mysteries of the Copious Desire for Harmony and Rhythm."
Tumblr media
The date of composition and the author of this text are unknown. It is likely a late medieval, post-12th century era Upanishad and it is neither part of the 17th century compilation of 50 important Hindu Upanishads published by Mughal era Dara Shikoh, nor part of the 18th-century anthology of 52 popular Upanishads in North India published by Colebrooke, nor is it found in the Bibliotheca Indica anthology of popular Upanishads in South India by Narayana.
It is numbered 85 of 108.
Om ! O Devas, may we hear with our ears what is auspicious; May we see with our eyes what is auspicious, O ye worthy of worship !
May we enjoy the term of life allotted by the Devas, Praising them with our body and limbs steady !
May the glorious Indra bless us !
May the all-knowing Sun bless us ! May Garuda, the thunderbolt for evil, bless us !
May Brihaspati grant us well-being !
Om ! Let there be Peace in me ! Let there be Peace in my environment ! Let there be Peace in the forces that act on me !
1 First Brahmana:  Busunda “the pistol” approached Kalagni Rudra (the fire and death like Rudra) and asked him, “Please tell me about the greatness of Vibhoothi (Sacred ash - Vibhoothi is generally prepared by burning cow dung at auspicious times.
The Vibhoothi of Pazhani temple is prepared by burning cactus plants). Kalagni Rudra replied, “What is there to tell?”.
Then Busunda asked, “Please tell me the importance of wearing Vibhoothi “holy ashes” and Rudraksha’. Kalagni Rudra replied, “This has already been related along with phala sruthi (resultant effect) by sage Paippalada “given over to sense pleasures.”. There is nothing more to be told more than what he has said”.
Then Busunda asked, “Tell me about the route to salvation as told in the great Jabala (Brihat Jabala)”. Kalagni Rudra agreed and started teaching.
The route to salvation never leads to the Shining Abode with cloud streets or golden harps playing all day long. Salvation is the discovery of a way to a law abiding life that does not agitate the mind, the neighborhood, or the world. Election years such as the one we are in, are not examples of ways mankind attains to his salvation.
A large number of people for example, think immigration and the economy are our problems while triple digit temperatures persist, and a Third World War we started overseas by allowing the Mormons to run amok are the main issues.
There are billions of persons living below the poverty level and they shall never know a single comfort in their lives. These things should agitate us but instead we debate nothing of importance at all.
Above, there is a mention of what is called Vibhuti, holy ashes. These are streaked across the forehead in the shape of three lines.
Tumblr media
These represent the ways the mind has burnt up the ability to regret the past, the be anxious in the present and worry about the future. In order to function properly in the world and know the will of God such as it is, the mind must abandon unproductive ways of spending its time. All that is done in the body must be done at the level of the BMI without the presence of the PFT.
Tumblr media
The faculties and equipments are more than capable of performing as God intended just fine on their own so long as the mind and intellect are not concocting so much. Once the Brahman creates a mind, it will try to reabsorb its experiences. This is how one establishes what is called the Atman, the soul, the bearer of one's experience. The Atman, the discriminator, that which discerns the pecularities of nature is the key.
So the means to salvation and the balance of rhythm, harmony and salvation in our lives is to know what fuels our passions and what is not worthy of our time and attention.
The text above refers to a famous sage named Pippalada; salvation includes happiness and sense pleasures in moderation. If we are conducting ourselves in a way that makes these difficult, if not impossible then something is out of tune.

12) Ghrishneshwar Temple Jyotirlinga This Jyotirlinga is located near Daulatabad in Maharashtra. This is the last Jyotirlinga among the 12 Jyotirlingas of Lord Shiva.
Significance of Shiva Purana:- Shiva Purana has great importance for the devotee of Shiva. In the Shiva Purana, the elemental interpretation, mystery, glory, and worship of the benevolent form of Lord ‘Shiva’ of Parabrahm Parmeshwar have been described. Reading the Shiva Purana and listening to it with devotion is the best form of worship. According to Shiva Purana, a man reaches the highest position after attaining Shiva devotion, he attains Shivapada. By listening to this Purana selflessly and reverently, one becomes free from all sins and enjoys great and excellent pleasures in this life, and finally attains Shivaloka.
