I feel like if you were a hardcore Onision fan in middle school, you were easily manipulated by others (this is referring to me as well). The fact that I did not see the amount of red flags this man had at the time is honestly so baffling.

genuinely one of the worst things you can ever do for your mental health is camp out in the twitter replies of someone you hate.

back when everything was coming out about onision id check his Twitter every day and spam his replies with "ok groomer" and kys memes and the only thing it did was ruin my mental health and it did NOTHING to help actual victims. and on top of that i had never even WATCHED the guy.

i get that it can feel good to drag down a bad person but you're not helping anyone.

alright, how about this? if you keep publishing about your kinks without tagging them, you're a creep. if you show your naked chest in youtube streams, a platform that wasn't made for it, in a channel where you talk about content made for children for the most part, you're a creep. if you bring up rape lay as some inspiration for a disney show in a video where you don't even warn about that kind of content, nobody should be trusting you with their children. if you let a minor to send you nude art and flirt with you openly, only to later date that same minor the moment they become legal, you're a groomer. if you call child rape a "spa between two people", you're a rape apologist. if you laugh at your wife recounting her sexual abuse in a video that you later published and profited off, you're a bad partner. if you stole content, including footage, words and images, that you didn't had any hand in making and don't even bother crediting those people, you're a plagiarist. and i know you know what happens to plagiarists, LO. once again, for the people in the back, parasocial grooming was a term created to talk about the kind of influence from certain creators that would target a younger demographic but still insert sexual content that is inappropíate. normalizing certain topics or behaviors for that younger demographic that later they could take advantage of by exploiting that dynamic of creator and fan. the term originally was created with Shane Dawson and Onision in mind, and we know that both of those men went out to have inappropriate contact with some of their fans as they were underaged. in the case of onision, that turned into just textbook grooming in at least one case. same with LO. but here's the thing: we don't need it to tell people that LO is a bad person. it's accurate? absolutely. does she think that arguing against it because she doesn't understand what it is or pretend she doesn't means that we have nothing against it? i hope, because then it will make it so much funnier when i can show archive links of her grooming behavior.

(as for "paraosocial abuse", never heard of it, and since LO is not bringing any examples of anyone using that term i'm going to go ahead and doubt that anyone actually did.)

There's a queer tiktoker that was recently threatened and bullied to the point where police are advising them to take a break from the app for their own safety. Because they're getting death threats. (Many of which were from the queer community).

And if you don't like someone because they're "too loud" or "too annoying" or "make large gestures" or "too childish" or whatever.

Just make my life so much easier and admit you're abelist and hate autistic and ADHD people.

Please. PLEASE. Just admit that you were that gay kid in school that bullied neurodivergent kids out of your gay friend group because they were "too weird".

It's hard enough for gay adults to experiment with their identity later in life without being called childish, because it wasn't safe for them to do this as a teenager. But to add accusing neurodivergent people of being groomers for being childish, which further infantilizes autistic and ADHD adults?

I felt like screaming when drituation was going down because saying that Dream was a groomer when literally the Onision saga existed was just too much for my brain to handle.

Like if you want to talk about grooming, take one look at that horrifying man. That is grooming, not ignoring insta dms for 9 months and whatever may or may not happened on snapchat.I feel like if you were a young onision watcher it breaks you a little bit. It’s innocence I’ll never get back lol.

i feel like some people really need to learn the difference between actual predatory behaviour and normal human behaviour and how much context matters. long rant under the cut

oh my god can we PLEASE stop making 20 minute youtube videos titled "__ is WORSE than you think!!" and its literally just a bunch of nothing statements and arguments that mean absolutely nothing about a person overall. the Only thing that these entire videos have is that the person theyre about has always done some fucked up thing, but instead of talking about the thing they did or anything substantial, they'll just be a bunch of innocuous statements or jokes that aren't actually bad at all, throw in a few that are kinda gross and creepy IF you have the context of what that person's done, and nothing that actually adds anything to the conversation.

like, a good example of what these types of videos wishes they were is the onision files by repzion. an actual series of videos laying out Actual disgusting behaviour, the reason there are So Many is because he's just done that much fucked up shit. but the problem is when everyone wants to do that with everyone who's ever been despicable online when there just isn't as much to talk about. so what do they do? they start scraping the bottom of the barrel to try and have their own onision files but instead of being hours worth of the most enraging, despicable, vile, abusive shit a person can do, its just "and they use so much toilet humour which is disgusting" (<- a real thing someone said when discussing a child groomer!! who fucking cares if they think poop is funny!! they groomed children!!)

its incredibly fucking annoying and diminishes whatever horrible thing they did imo? like "oh you thought that sexualising children to their young and impressionable audience was bad, wait until i tell you about how they think poop is funny, if you didnt think they were a monster before, you surely do now"

like am i crazy? and if you try and say "hey this doesnt actually matter" then all of a sudden you're defending the perpetrator when in reality a lot of the innocuous shit they mentioned as "proof" they're a despicable person (rather than the despicable thing/s they did) is stuff everyday people do??

they'll bring up a 4 year old video of them blowing a raspberry into a babys belly, which is creepy with the context of if the person in question is accused of being a child predator, but theyll rarely ever say that. theyll just show the video and be like "thats disgusting!! how could they do that?!" and its like yeah, its gross because Theyre the one doing it. you have to say that. otherwise youre saying that no one can touch babies ever without being a predator. this isn't substantial, this doesn't add anything to the conversation, youre just talking. if youre going to say things that are creepy or gross because of the person doing them then you have to say that otherwise youre telling your audience that those things are inherently bad.

kissing your 12 year old fan on the mouth? an actual reprehensible, vile thing for an adult to do. laughing about a baby's butt? only creepy if you know they also did the first thing.

because if you say that by making jokes about baby butt (something that is in no way sexual, it is a BABY), they are being creepy and gross, then you are saying there is something inherently sexual there. you need the context of them sexualizing children first. you need to bring up that the reason this behaviour is gross when They do it is because of the other gross things they've done. otherwise you add nothing to the conversation, youre just saying words at me. i have no reason to care if someone makes sex jokes in their content until you give the context that the character theyre playing in that content is meant to be a child

just listened to Steam Powered Giraffe for the first time. heres the thing: First off, song was good! (It was Latum Alterum) i like how it sounds and stuff. very catchy! like i understand being angry. ive been there. so many times, like ive said a million times i was in the fuckin trenches in onision's twitter replies. but there are just. so many better ways to show support that isn't an overused joke that ALREADY makes people feel bad.

the only way to uplift victims is to ACTUALLY UPLIFT VICTIMS not put down the bad people. because at the end of the day the bad people just. aren't going to care. they're going to keep doing what they've always been doing because the joke they've heard a million times doesn't mean shit to them. but it DOES mean something to the victim who is having to hear their trauma be spun into a joke.

and on top of that it just. makes victims feel weird about coming forwards. if u remember the whole "discord moderator" joke that shit like. fucked me up because my groomer WAS A DISCORD MOD and i didn't want my trauma reduced down to a joke about that when i talked about it.

according to LO, neither Ginger, Lolo or MO could have been groomed in any sort of way, no matter how old and more influence LO has over them, no matter how she behaved with them while they were minors, because now they're adults and so should be able to do whatever they want.

this is the same the logic that Onision used when grooming his victims, btw.

hi, im notdecentouma here with my first actual post.

recently, i’ve been watching many of mr repzion/repzion’s videos about onision. i’m currently watching one where he mentions the wetland incident. i really dont know what happened, so here’s my first opinion on it.

okay, so his neighbor said “oh yeah, do this, destroy a wetland” or whatever, and onision was just like “okay!”. basically, he’s listening to strangers. if he can listen to his neighbor (probably a stranger), cant he listen to all of us? cant he listen to the people telling him to stop being so disgusting and stupid?
