I recall saying this before, but it bears repeating:
There could be a billion trans people in the world and it still wouldn't be a bad thing because being trans is not a bad thing. Even if the rate of people discovering they are trans is "disproportionate" to trends from decades ago, that is not a bad thing. In fact, it's a natural consequence for there being more trans people being able to stay alive, and, overall, being able to live in a slightly more tolerant world. You'd only see that as a bad thing if you actively didn't want trans people to either live or live a life that facilitates wellness.

After the fifth time that Katsuki pops up at UA, surprising Izuku with Bento for lunch, calling him "sensei" in a cocky(affectionate) tone, Kouta just stops at Izuku's desk on his way out of the room and asks him point blank,
"So are you and DynaMight actually dating, or what?"
Izuku sputtering and dropping all of his paperwork and avoiding the question out of sheer dumbfoundedness.
Then, the sixth time that Katsuki barges in, as he is thrusting the bento into Izukus hands as usual, Kota raises his hand, and stands up from his seat and yells out,
"DynaMight, sir!! Pardon me, but are you dating Deku-Sensei??" And the whole class gasps and whispers. Katsuki appears just as dumbfounded as he looks wide-eyed at Kouta and the students.
"Kouta!" Izuku balks, but then Katsuki suddenly grins mischievously. Izuku doesn't trust that look...
"Well, brat, maybe I SHOULD date him, then I could make sure Sensei doesn't forget to eat every day, right??" Katsuki looked entirely too pleased at the louder gasps and chatter that came from the students. He has a wicked grin as he turns his sharp red eyes back to Izuku.
"K-Kacchan, what are you doing?!" Izuku stammers, beet red and grabbing his arm. "This is not the time for--"
"If you don't want me disrupting your class, then stop leaving your Bento in the fridge!!" Katsuki scolds Izuku before swinging himself back out of the open window. There was a fresh wave of gasps and excited murmuring at the insinuationthat the two lived together. "We're ROOM MATES, OK?" He adds hastily, pointing his finger at the noisy classroom of kids.
He drops out the window and blasts off.
Izuku is left, stood at his desk, hands planted and hanging his head, trying to collect enough of himself to quell the riotous theories now flying around his classroom.
Kouta stands at his own desk amidst his unruly classmates, eyes narrowed as if he had just realized something, "I knew it!" He hisses.
"You're the worst," Izuku texts Katsuki later.
"I know" katsuki replies.
"Now eat your fuckin food or I'll stop making it for you."

Replaying the base game and main quest on a baby version of my main is very interesting. There's so much that's changed since I first played ESO but also wow I've clearly forgotten how the tedious and slow the solo, organic leveling process is, compared to how I play now
I didn't remember how slow the skill point gain is early on when you can't just zip zone to zone for skyshards
No fighters or mages guild leveling until you finish the tutorial island(s)
You are starving for gear and weapons you can actually use since you outlevel them so fast. Ending up stuck in heavy armor bc it's all that's dropping.
My bag is so tiny (as I pretend I don't have the gold for an upgrade). I can't imagine how bad this would be without a craft bag...
The main quest flow is still a little weird with the prophet immediately showing up again after finishing a quest. I have no real suggestions here for flow sadly, just minor complaints
But!!! At least there's no prologues being shoved in my face and kidnapping me to be taken to new zones. Summerset prologue kidnapping me to Auridon, stranded in Shadowfen after the Murkmire prologue, Craglorn intro quest sending me to "veteran overland" before I figured out wayshrines.... Navigating the base game without a guide was so rough.

Been thinking about Final Destination: Bloodlines for a few days straight now, urghhhh. (Very rambly spoilers below)
There's so much I could praise the movie for, but the one thing that I don't see appreciated enough is how the lore drop with Bludworth TRULY makes all the other connected movies make sense in a satisfying way. (Maybe I just haven't been too deep into the tags, lol)
Every film introduces another rule to spice things up, and though I LOVE the franchise dearly (it's one of my favorite horror movie franchises of all time, I got 'em all on blu-ray), I can see why so many of those rules seem like ass pulls.
"You have to break the design"
"You have to introduce new life"
"You have to kill someone"
With it being confirmed that essentially Bludworth was the final guy on Death's list due to the ripple effect of Iris saving everyone and how he and Iris were besties navigating Death's design together, it's no wonder the rules were ever-changing every movie.
Bludworth was learning it right along with us.
Every new rule was something he and Iris discovered together through the 50+ years of avoiding death. He was a victim, too, just like the rest of the visionaries.
Additionally, it was never stated, but I REALLY think you could draw the conclusion that all the visionaries were descendants of the Skyview attendants. THAT'S why they were involved in these horrific accidents to tie up loose ends. It also FULLY explains why Bludworth knew who they were immediately.
He wasn't a mysterious, omnipotent figure. He and Iris kept tabs on EVERY. SINGLE. FAMILY involved in the near-accident and discovered the pattern of how they got plucked off.
So of course he knew Alex's name when he arrived. And Kimberly's. And Sam's. They were the next descendants to go. He and Iris were studying the pattern INTENSELY. He knew Alex because they had records they were keeping of every family from the survivors and knew who was next. (He could have been a little less creepy delivering the information but he's allowed to have a bit of showmanship HILKJFD)
It just makes the previous movies make SO much sense. Why he knew their names. Why he knew the rules. Why the rules were so nebulous.
It's also just deeply satisfying that he's the last survivor, with us through the franchise the whole way down. I was really afraid they were going to send him off as the final survivor, giving Tony Todd a big gory death as a shock factor. I'm SO fucking happy they didn't.
ALSO I MISS TONY TODD SO BAD, MAN, FUCKKKKK. 😭😭😭

help a black nonbinary lesbian out today!
my roommate and I are both high-risk for covid and our new roommate doesn't seem to mask, and frequently goes around unmasked. I'm trying to find a good air purifier for our room and I found one that's under $100 USD, but neither of us have the money for it. I really don't want either of us to get COVID this school year. Anything helps :")
