Supply chain efficiency can be improved by reducing lead times, optimizing inventory levels, and enhancing supplier relationships.

Clear communication channels and regular meetings can foster collaboration and prevent misunderstandings that can hinder productivity.
10. Feedback and Customer Focus: Listening to customer feedback is invaluable in operations management. Understanding customer needs and preferences can guide product and process improvements. A customer-focused approach ensures that operations are aligned with market demands, ultimately boosting efficiency and productivity.

mage viktor meets a jayce from a timeline where the illness claimed viktor naturally
the moment that changed everything in this timeline was that vi managed to convince jinx that they could be sisters again. unconditionally. jayce got the council to vote for the creation of zaun. and there was no bombing or subsequent deaths/injuries. viktor died months later.
in my head, i imagine this jayce to have been in mourning for over five years. the last thing his viktor asked from him was to destroy the hexcore and keep working on their hextech dream. this jayce was unable to do either because of the weight of his grief.
he continues his duties as a councillor and pauses any new hextech development. the council, agitated, overrules him and hands over all hextech operations to new young and brilliant minds. he’s unable to destroy the hexcore because it knows what he wants (viktor)
though it’s slower, the anomaly still starts to form at the hexgates. and jayce, who is surprised ekko and heimerdinger came to him instead of the new people assigned to work with hextech, agrees to help, and gets thrown into mage viktor’s timeline.
mage viktor senses that there’s something different about this jayce. his grief is not the same as the other jayces who have visited. his grief belongs to someone he can’t return to. they have that in common.

PPT WMI AU One Shot: Sickly (WIP) PART 1
Tws/Cws: Fainting
Note: Chris (He/Him) is the player/one of my ppt OCs! He has his own lore that I have yet to flesh out/illustrate.
Firstly! I'll preface this by saying I typically only write for myself, so if any of this reads kinda elementary, I am so sorry, lol. I also don't share my writing pretty much at all, so I'll just be in the corner with my hands over my eyes XD
All the text is from my notes app. It's for context. Happy reading!
Part 1 (here) | Part 2 | Part 3 | Part 4 | Part 5 | Part 6
It's a bright, humid day out. Doey and Kissy had just turned the other kids lose for a quick recess before their afternoon naps. They were able to get the TV working long enough earlier in the morning to hear the weather forecast. They'll be getting some much needed rain showers for the next couple of days.
Doey has gone to his usual spot for a bit of rest before continuing with his usual daily activities. No one has seen him for a while, so DogDay offered to go and check on him.
"Hey! Chris told me you were still out here. I just wanted ta check on ya." DogDay says as he sits down beside Doey on the ground.
Doey sighs. How could he not? Being the sole provider and protector of the toys back at the Safe Haven was who he was. Who he still is. Just because they're somwhere else now doesn't mean there aren't duties to attend to.
Sure, having Chris around is nice, but he's always managed on is own. Things may get stressful every now and then, but there's nothing he can't do. He’s Doey.
"I know that, DogDay. But- they still need me. And I have to be there for them."
"You're missing my point, big guy.. You're still operating as if you're a one man show! Kissy and Huggy barely get to help you do anything because you've already done it! You did and still do everyone's job. Poppy assigned us all roles so no one would have to work like that."
*Isn't that what I was made to do?* Doey thinks internally. To fulfill multiple assigned roles? Yes, of course he was. And he dare not lose sight of that. Not then and not now.
"I promise it’s really no big deal, DogDay. Anyway, we should be heading back. The rain.. looks like… it's-" Doey hums as he gets up. He begins to stumble, Dogday quickly noticing.

Are you desperate for me?
Pairing: Wanda Maximoff x Fem!Reader
Warnings: Smut 18+, car sex, sub!reader, thigh riding, fingering, sex pollen, breast play, marking, praise, cum play, semi clothed sex, mentions of drug trafficking and death.
WC: 2.24k
───── ⋆⋅☆⋅⋆ ─────
You and Wanda are currently in Bari, Italy, on a mission to find locate and arrest a dangerous drug dealer that is rumored to be heading towards London for an important deal.
Your goal is to find his base of operations and destroy his current supply. The suspect in question, Cecil Adams, otherwise known as 'The Count', has been injecting his victims with his test products.
Almost all of them ended up dead within minutes.
"Oh come on."
"It's for the good of the people" Tony said and you rolled your eyes.
"So me and Wanda have to cancel our honeymoon just to find some wack ass Peter Piper? Why can't the police just deal with it?"
"They've tried, but every officer they sent has come back in a casket. You know we wouldn't have asked you if we didn't need to, but the rest of the team is already assigned elsewhere." Steve informed, crossing his arms and expressing a look of sympathy.
You groaned as you buried your face in your hands in annoyance. Wanda grabbed your hand, stroking the back of it her thumb as an attempt to help you calm down.
"A week in Italy wouldn't really be so bad, just think of it as a last minute change of venue." She whispered and you brought your head up to look at her and her bright green eyes.
"I... alright, fine." You couldn't bring yourself to argue with her, turning back to look back at Tony and Steve.
"You owe us two weeks off after this." Both men nodded in agreement.
Four days into your stay, you and Wanda had found his headquarters, an abandoned wear-house at the edge of the city.
You and your wife are rigging the place to blow. Members of S.H.E.L.D waiting just outside of the property as backup.
Wanda had used her magic to knock out the guards surrounding the area, putting handcuffs onto each of them, and with a snap of her fingers, she'd sent them straight into the secured van.
"You done, baby?" You ask Wanda through your earpiece.
"Everything's all set over here"
"Alright then, just make sure you're safe ok?"
You back away from the building with the remote trigger in your hand, your backpack filled with product in the other, you'd managed to sneak in prior and retrieve some per S.H.E.L.D's instructions.
"I will be detka, are you?"
"I'm safe" You assure her as you take small steps backward and away from the building.
Suddenly you feel a cool piece of metal brace itself against your throat, strong muscular arms wrapping themselves around you.
You sigh, reaching for the man's wrists and throwing him on the ground, the knife in his hand flying into the distance.
You hear him groan before you flip him on his back, grabbing a pair of handcuffs from your bag and putting his hands behind his back, locking him in place.
"For someone who's created such a hassle, you really need better fighting skills." You mutter, Wanda picking everything through the mic.
You cuff him and grab him by his hair, holding his head up. Pulling a chloroform-laced cloth from your pocket, you knock him unconscious.
"Luybov? What happened?"
"We've caught our culprit." You chuckle as you picked the man up, throwing him over your shoulder and heading towards the front of the warehouse.
You set Adams down, his body limp against the cemented ground.
"Ready?"
"Ready as I'll ever be."
"5... 4... 3... 2... 1..."
Boom.
The warehouse erupts into a riot of flames, painting the area in orange and red.
You notice a puff of smoke head in your direction but it's unlike anything you've seen before, it was... pink?
You tried your best to avoid it but you couldn't, the cloud reaching you and the moment you inhaled it, you cough heavily.
Wanda uses her powers to contain the fire and puts it out, red wisps of her magic encasing the remaining smoke, clearing it into thin air.
Once you can finally breathe, you turn to pick Adams up and hand him into S.H.E.I.L.D's custody. A group of agents taking him into the back of the van along with rest of his henchmen.
You hand one agent your bag of evidence, receiving a nod in thanks before they get inside and drive off.
"You alright?" You feel Wanda's hand grab your shoulder from behind you, her voice is laced with so much love and a hint of worry that makes you fall even deeper for this woman.
You nod, turning to face her and wrapping your arms around her neck, pulling her in for a desperately lustful kiss.
The moment your lips make contact you can't help the moan you let out at the sensation. When you pull apart, she noticed how of how your pupils have dilated drastically.
"I think it's time we go back to the hotel, don't you agree?" Your fingers playing with the pendant of her necklace, Wanda smiles back at you and nods, giving you another peck that makes your heart skip a beat.
You'd never felt this needy before.
She brushes her hand past your ear making your breath hitch, disappoint running though you when you realize she was only trying to grab your earpiece, taking her's out right after and putting them in her pocket.
Hand in hand, you both head to car that Tony had lent you for your time here. Wanda opens the door for you, a blush painting your cheeks at her chivalry.
She then heads into her spot in the drivers seat, starting up the car and putting the hotels address in the built-in GPS system.
Once on your way, you feel Wanda's hand on your thigh, giving it a light squeeze. You were starting to lose your composure, though the act was innocent, the heat in your pants was becoming unbearable.
"Oh my poor baby," she coos, "I can read your thoughts; they're quite loud."
"Are you desperate for me?"
You feel your eyes shut for a moment at her accent slipping into her words, your thighs clenching at the rasp in her voice.
You grab her hand, bringing it down to your clothed pussy, making her feel how your wetness had already stained through your uniform.
Wanda bites her lip, making a sudden turn, slowing down, and coming to a complete stop in an empty lot. You look at the screen on the dashboard, your hotel a fifteen-minute drive away.
You awkwardly shift towards her, straddling her lap, and reaching to the side for the lever of the seat, pushing it downwards.
She cups your cheeks and kisses you deeply, your tongues meshing together in a familiar dance.
Wanda unzips your suit from the front, smiling at your lack of bra. You pull apart so you can slip it off and throw it somewhere into the backseat, leaving you in just your panties.
You gasp when she sucks different marks onto your neck and collarbone, teasing you.
She's looking at you with innocent eyes, batting her lashes and pressing kisses against your skin, she then takes your nipple into her mouth, her free hand toying with your other breast, making you throw your head back in pleasure.
You move your hands to the back of her head, moaning lightly whilst treading your fingers through her silky strands. "You want me to touch you detka?" She mumbles against you and your breathing gets heavier.
"Please."
You buck your hips against her, grinding on her thigh pathetically, the friction of your panties brushing against your clit in the just the right way, little gasps and moans escaping your throat without permission.
Wanda releases your nipple, a string of saliva being the only thing connecting her to your chest, the sight making you whimper.
You look down at her with dewy eyes, the ache in between your legs becoming unbearable. Your breath shudders when you feel her fingers slip your underwear off, making contact with your wet folds, and you bite your lip at the feeling.
"So wet for me." She whispers, your eyes shutting when her slim digits make contact with your clit, and you can't help the noises that escape your lips. "You like when I touch you like this princessa?"
"Yes- fuck." You moan when she starts to tease your entrance, spreading your wetness thought your folds. When her fingers finally enter you, your eyes roll to the back of your head as she starts to pump them in and out of you.
"Such a pretty girl." Wanda coos, placing hot open mouthed kisses on your neck and jawline, her fingers curling ever so slightly on every pull out driving you insane, a familiar hot coil building up in your stomach.
Wanda repositions her hand, placing her two fingers on her pubic bone, using her free hand to help guide you into riding her.
"You make such pretty noises my darling, make some more." she smiles sweetly at you, making you groan at her words.
Your hands fly to her shoulders to help hold you up, your nails digging into the fabric of her suit, her lips back going to suck onto your nipples, your hips bucking frantically in your effort to chase you upcoming climax.
"Mm- mhmm, yes- Wanda, right- right there!" You squeal when she moves her thumb to put pressure on your neglected bundle of nerves.
"You're so beautiful" she murmurs against you before she pulls away, moving her other hand towards your ass, squeezing it gently.
"I'm gonna cum... fuck, baby I'm gonna cum! " Your eyes roll as you let the pleasure faze through you, you hide your face into her neck though your orgasm, pressing a light kiss there as your body trembles around her.
"You did so good detka, such a good girl." You hear her praise, rubbing up and down your back soothingly, as you slowly start to come down from you high.
When you lean back and open your eyes, they land on a lust ridden Sokovian, her pupils completely enlarged as she pulls her digits out of you.
Wanda brings her fingers towards her lips before slipping them both into her mouth, You feel another surge of wetness flow through you, slightly coating Wanda's thighs with my you slick.
She hums, "So sweet." She says as the swipes her fingers through your folds again, your head falling onto her shoulder as you shudder at the feeling.
You feel Wanda hold you up slightly, digits coated with your cum, you moan when she starts to pull at your nipples. "You like that, don't you?" She smiles before pulling you into another kiss.
She moves her lips downwards towards your chest, taking each bud into her mouth, tasting your juices as she swirls her tongue around them.
"Do you think you can do one more for me?" You nod, and she positions you onto her left thigh, guiding you hips as you start to grind onto her.
You whimper as your clit comes into contact with her skin each time you move your hips, Wanda pulls you into another lip lock, grabbing you by the back of your neck with one hand while her other one helps your movements.
"God- you feel so good..."
Wanda smirks against your lips before moving her hand from my hips towards your overstimulated clit, rubbing tight circles around it before pinching it, sending you into a deeper state of pleasure.
You scream her name and a string of curses, trying to steady your breathing. "So perfect for me." She whispers as she kisses your forehead.
"I love you" You say as you kiss her nose, watching how it scrunches adorably.
"I love you too" She returns, pecking your lips and hugging you close. Both of you sighing in content at the skin on skin contact.

I hope you dont mind me asking, what kind if stuff do you do for a job?
Do you work in a safe environment for trans people?
I work in civic technology, which is the concept of using tech to make the government kinder and more efficient for the citizens it serves. I have been a Service Designer, Product Owner, and Product Manager. These are all "real" jobs you can Google to learn more about.
Right now, I do this at the US federal level. (I am not a fed, but I work for them as a contractor.) While my company is generally safe & affirming, because of the current regime, I am doubtful I will ever get a "public trust clearance" again (this is not security clearance, but it is the govt's way to decide if you are trustworthy/honorable enough to serve) due to being trans. I can NOT be stealth here, due to all the background checks and interviewing that goes on (your family and friends get calls).
So, once my current gig with the agency I'm assigned to expires, I am likely done with fed stuff. It is clear my company, as affirming as they are internally, will not push back if I mysteriously get denied clearance. Or retain me if my presence as key personnel on a contract puts winning it at risk. I literally lectured my CEO about my risk landscape the other week. 🙃
I previously came from the municipal level (I worked for a well-known city) and again, everyone was very affirming and respectful. I involved trans people in my research and did a lot of good work, from improving emergency operations to launching food pantry home delivery, to getting potholes filled faster. I even got a multi-stall gender-neutral bathroom installed at City Hall, in the state of Florida, no less (alas, it had to be closed down when the state governor went on his transphobic rampage, and luckily I had already left by then).
Civic tech is interesting and fulfilling work, but you need a strong personality to cut through bullshit -- I frequently would be at odds with fire chiefs, commissioners, and crusty old accountants and had to either persuade or bully them to affect any sort of progress. Luckily, folks tell me I am both a charismatic and intimidating man. 😅
Again, it was impossible to truly be stealth because of background checks. When I had to take a polygraph, I was asked (by an ex-CIA guy to boot) if anything about me would "embarass" the city. I said I was trans and that my credit score (at the time) was in the shitter. The dude said, "as long as you're working on the latter, you're fine, and no one gives a crap about the former."
I did not have to be publicly trans, but I chose to. I even let the city do a TDOV feature on me on social media, which was a bit scary because that put a target on my back, even in 2019.
Did I still get the stink eye from some employees? Yup. I even had to sic HR on one. But overall, your average civil servant (maybe not federal anymore) tends to lean left, and civic tech itself is a very, VERY queer-friendly field. (Again, not so much federal anymore. I would suggest folks interested here stick to state & municipal work.)
I hope that helps. If you are interested in tech, as long as you are in fields where the purpose is *helping* people, you are bound to find a lot of trans people and allies.
#chit chat#I had considered once interviewing for the agency DOGE took over and obliterated#USDS used to be so queer folks and killing it first was absolutely meant to send a message to queer technologists

Damian, after returning from a solo mission to Titan Tower, learns that his partner Reader was sent on a mission to Spain without informing him.

Damian Wayne returned to Titan Tower after a solitary mission, his mind occupied with the reports he had to deliver and the strategies he was already planning for future operations. Although he had managed to eliminate those responsible for a trafficking ring in Gotham, he felt that something was not right. There had been a bad feeling in the air since he left the city.
As he landed on the roof of Titan Tower, the engines of the customized jet shut down with a high-pitched whistle. The sound of the night was dense, an uncomfortable silence. As soon as he got off the jet, Damian activated the communicator he wore on his wrist, looking for information from his team and, above all, from Reader. Normally, she was the one who made sure to greet him as soon as he arrived, sometimes with a smile or some witty quip, but on this occasion there was no sign of her.
The lights of the tower shone through the large windows that surrounded the main room. There was no sign of the other Titans. Everything was quiet. Too quiet.
As he entered, he was greeted by the Tower’s AI.
“Welcome, Damian Wayne,” he said in his usual monotone.
Damian moved with purposeful steps, his eyes searching the monitors for any hint of activity. He began typing, looking for recent mission and assignment reports. One of the files on the screen caught his attention: **Reader – International Mission – Spain**.
His jaw tightened as he saw the location. **Spain. Why didn’t he know about this?** He typed faster, accessing the mission details.
**Subject: Support in covert operations**
**Location: Barcelona, Spain**
**Operation in progress: Investigation and neutralization of developing metahuman threat.**
The feeling in his stomach intensified. Damian frowned as he read more details. The team had been sent without his knowledge, and it bothered him deeply. He always made sure Reader was safe. Her going on an international mission while he wasn't present wasn't something he liked, nor would he allow if he'd known about it.
He activated the Titans' communicator, looking to contact whoever was available, but there was no immediate response. Finally, a familiar voice appeared.
"Damian, is everything okay?" It was Nightwing, who seemed to be in the middle of another mission.
"Why was Reader sent to Spain?" Damian asked, his tone direct and cutting.
"I figured... you already heard." Nightwing paused, perhaps considering how to approach the situation. "It was a last-minute decision. The team in Europe needed urgent support and she volunteered. You know she's one of the best at covert operations."
"That's no excuse for not informing me," Damian snapped, his patience already at its limit. "I should have known."
Nightwing sighed on the other end of the line.
“I understand your frustration, but you were on a critical mission and a quick response was needed. There was no time to discuss it with you.”
Damian clenched his fists. He couldn’t help but feel like information had been deliberately withheld from him. Reader was skilled, he knew that better than anyone, but that didn’t lessen his concern for her. The idea that she was on the other side of the ocean, facing who knows what kind of threat, unsettled him more than he was willing to admit.
“Do you know what the current situation is?” he asked, his fingers moving quickly over the keyboards, tracking down any updates on the mission.
“The latest report indicates that they’re close to neutralizing the threat, but they’ve had complications. Some of the local forces weren’t prepared to deal with a metahuman of that magnitude.”
“How many are with her?” Damian insisted, trying to remain calm.
“The European team is supporting her, as well as some JLA agents.” Reader is leading the operation in the field, but communications have been intermittent due to the technological interference the target has been causing.
Damian cursed under his breath. He couldn’t stand the thought of being so far away and not being able to make sure everything was under control. **Reader is capable. Reader is strong.** But that didn’t mitigate the fear.
“I’m going to Spain,” he said, determined.
“Damian, listen…” Nightwing tried to intervene. “If you go now, you could put the mission at risk. Trust that she knows what she’s doing.”
“I’m not asking for your approval,” he replied coldly. “Just informing you.”
He ended the communication before Nightwing could respond. He was upset, but more than that, he was uneasy. He and Reader didn’t just share a personal relationship; there was a deeper connection between them, something he couldn’t ignore. He wouldn’t leave her alone in hostile territory, not while he had the means to reach her.
Quickly, he headed to the Tower's hangar. His jet was already ready for another mission, so he wasted no time getting on. Although he knew it could take a few hours to get there, he wouldn't let that time lapse weaken him. He felt responsible for her safety, and it wasn't just because of his role as a leader. Reader had accomplished what few people in his life could: break the barriers he had erected since he was a child.
As the jet took off, Damian connected to the international communication channels, trying to get any signal from Spain. However, as Nightwing had mentioned, the interference made it impossible. There was nothing but silence.
Damian's thoughts flew back to the first time he met her, how, from the beginning, something about her had attracted him. Her intelligence, her ability to stand firm in any situation, her constant willingness to help others. She was a person who knew how to handle herself in risky situations, and she often faced them without hesitation. And yet, something about this mission made him uneasy.
Time seemed to drag as he crossed the Atlantic. The constant roar of the jet's engines was the only sound that accompanied him. Damian checked and re-checked every detail of the mission he had been able to obtain. Barcelona was a complicated city for this type of operation. Its dense infrastructure and narrow streets could become a dangerous battlefield, especially if they were dealing with an unpredictable metahuman.
Finally, the jet began to descend on the outskirts of the city. Night was falling over Barcelona, the city lights flickering in the distance like a million little fires. Damian adjusted his equipment, preparing for landing. Time was of the essence. He had no further details of the mission, but he didn't need them. His only priority was to find Reader and make sure he was safe.
As soon as he set foot on the ground, he activated the tracker he had installed on his equipment before leaving. It was a discreet device used by the Titans to keep track of each other during missions. However, when he tried to locate Reader, the device showed nothing.
**Interference. Damn.**
Damian moved nimbly through the streets, staying in the shadows as he went. He used his contacts in the city to obtain more information. According to local reports, the riots had reached a fever pitch in the Raval neighborhood. A confrontation between a covert operations group and a being with metahuman abilities had caused chaos.
With that information in mind, he quickly headed towards the location. The streets were empty, the lights flickered, and the air was charged with a strange electricity. Damian felt that every second was vital. Finally, he reached the cordoned off area. From a tall building, he observed what was happening next.
The confrontation was taking place right in one of the main squares. In the distance, he could make out the operational team fighting to keep at bay a metahuman who seemed to control electrical energy on a large scale. Lightning crackled everywhere, lighting up the night with blue flashes.
And there, in the middle of the chaos, was Reader.
She moved with the grace of someone who had trained hard for this kind of situation. Her focus was absolute, but Damian could see the exhaustion on her face. She was using her skills, but the enemy was formidable, more so than anyone had anticipated.
Without wasting any time, Damian leapt onto the battlefield. Within seconds, he was already at Reader’s side, blocking one of the attacks headed her way.
“What the hell are you doing here?” she asked, surprised but relieved to see him.
“I wasn’t going to leave you alone in this,” he replied, his eyes fixed on the enemy as he prepared his next move. “We’re going to finish this together.”

Profession: Meteorologist - He has a very good understanding of the weather and can accurately predict changes. Although he does not enjoy his job as he despises working in spaces where he does not have control aka isn't the boss. On the orders of his father he’s also pursuing a degree in astronomy.
Fun facts: Seungcheol’s anger is quite destructive - surprise, surprise, it thunders when he’s mad. His hair was black when he was born but streaks of gold started to appear whenever he used his powers and now it is fully golden blonde. Seungcheol also has an insane appetite and is also always making sure everyone eats well.
Name: Yoon Jeonghan (Han, Angel Boy)
Descent: Son of Athena, Goddess of Wisdom, Warfare and Handicraft
Symbol: Medusa’s head
Role: Quest strategist - Studies warfare strategies of other camps and develops a plan of action for his team. Assigns roles in Quests to all members.
Residence: A tree house nestled on top of an olive tree that surprisingly no one can seem to climb other than the man himself. No one on camp has seen the inside of his house though all have tried - it is believed to house the rare luxuries he collects without anyone’s knowledge.
Companion: Bratty owl called Nox that only comes out at night, god knows where it goes off to in the day. (Dino often has to go on his knees and beg it to help deliver letters)
Profession: Lawyer - He originally wanted to be a teacher however his level of intelligence was too high for a kindergarten job. In fact, he’s so intelligent that he often has to downplay his smartness at work. The only reason he enjoys being a lawyer is because of the cunningness the profession requires.
Fun facts: Being the son of a virgin goddess makes Jeonghan a rare demigod - there’s very few known children of Athena. He’s also the camp prankster and though he gets on everyone’s nerves with his jokes, all the members adore him. He’s incredibly scared of spiders and refuses to visit Australia for the same reason.
Name: Hong Jisoo (Joshua, Joshie)
Descent: Son of Aphrodite, Goddess of Love, Sex and Beauty
Symbol: White swan.
Role: Camp manager - Responsible for all non training related operations on camp - meals, residences etc. Conflict resolving between members.
Residence: A small cottage by the lake that was personally crafted by his mother's helpers hence it has all her favorite things in it - red roses, seashells, sea foam etc. To no one’s surprise, there are also mirrors everywhere in his house.
Companion: Joshua once went to a bird shop to adopt a pet but came back with nearly every single dove, pigeon and sparrow because they would not stop screeching in his absence. Now they go everywhere with him - he’s a mini snow white.
Profession: Writer - Joshua writes romance novels often relying on real life experiences of his many affairs. His books are world famous under the pen name Mr.G (apparently short for gentleman) and they always have happy endings.
Fun facts: When he’s not writing, Joshua loves to make his own accessories, especially with pearls. He also loves reading other’s writings - particularly fanfictions of his characters. He is also a very good singer, often playing the guitar during evening campfires.
Name: Wen Junhui (Jun, Moon Junnie)
Descent: Son of Demeter, Goddess of Agriculture, Harvest and Seasons
Symbol: Cornucopia
Role: Camp Farmhand - Growing and harvesting crops needed for cooking. Cooks dinner for all members. (Breakfasts and lunches are each member’s personal responsibility, though Jun insists on packing lunch for members who go to work.)
Residence: A small farmhouse in the middle of his fields at the foot of the hills. It’s got windmills and creeks and bales of hay - very picturesque
Companion: A two feet long rough green snake called Fluffy. Unlike its name, it's skinny and clingy and is wrapped around Jun at all times.
Profession: Acupuncturist - works in a small clinic at the edge of the city and is quite renowned for his skill. Although looking at how most of his patients are young women with barely significant health issues, maybe he’s more renowned for his looks.
Fun facts: He's the one that most members from other camps have a crush on - he’s always having to run away from fawning girls during quest season. He loves adventure sports and often goes off on his own to do something outdoors. Hates the city, never visits it unless he has no choice.
Name: Kwon Soonyoung (Hoshi, Tiger)
Descent: Son of Dionysus, God of Wine, Festivity and Theatre
Symbol: Pinecone
Role: Camp PR - Establishing social connections with other camps. Entertaining guests who come to camp to form treaties.
Residence: Luxurious purple and green mansion which looks a little rustic from the outside with all the grapevines and ivy but on the inside it's the very epitome of lavishness.
Companion: Horang the leopard tiger - He had requested his father to gift him a tiger but his drunk old man sent him a leopard and Hoshi refuses to accept it. He often dresses it in a tiger outfit so it's safe to say Horang is actually quite sick of him.
Profession: Club owner - Hoshi owns a small underground club which has an even more underground secret room only for demigods. There he *cough* illegally *cough* sells his own brewed alcohol which is a big hit and makes him big money.
Fun facts: Makes and sells alcohol but does not drink as he cannot handle it at all. During his free time, he either studies the art of wine making or takes dance workshops in the city because he’s passionate about it. The loudest possible introvert you will meet with the largest possible social circle - literally no one hates him (except Horang)
Name: Jeon Wonwoo (Wonu, Jeon-sshi)
Descent: Son of Hades, King of the Underworld, God of Death and Riches
Symbol: Black Ram
Role: Camp patrolling - Patrols and secures camp borders at night. Not exactly his job but somehow always ends up doing the dishes.
Residence: He lives in a cave underground which is quite high tech and equipped, like the bat cave. He’s got all sorts of computers and screens set up everywhere for the ease of his job.
Companion: None. Wonwoo’s father gifted him Cerberus, a 3 headed puppy but Wonwoo gave it to Mingyu after he lost his own pet in a Quest. Natalie for some reason, likes to follow around Wonwoo like moth to a light.
Profession: No one knows really. It’s some big secret government job that he rarely goes to the headquarters for - mostly works from the comfort of his own home at whatever time is convenient for him.
Fun facts: He’s extremely rich - his job makes him a lot of money but also his father keeps sending him a lot of gifts, mainly gemstones. Children of Hades tend to be loners and do not join camps but Seungcheol fought tooth and nail to get Wonwoo into Camp Seventeen. Wonwoo loves to bike and often takes his motorcycle, Night Fury, to the countryside for long drives.
Name: Lee Jihoon (Woozi, Uji)
Descent: Son of Apollo, God of Sun, Music and Healing
Symbol: Lyre
Role: Camp Patrolling - Patrolling and securing camp at daytime. Also responsible for the healing wounded members
Residence: Woozi and Vernon own neighboring twin houses - Woozi’s is white and gold and is filled with his instruments and music equipment
Companion: A pure white cow which is named….Cow. It was a reward that he got in one of the Quests years ago and its milk has medicinal properties and helps him to heal members. Cow also has a little calf called Daisy which is the common camp pet - it’s fond of all the members and is very playful with everyone, especially Vernon’s hounds.
Profession: Music producer - He’s very good with sound and can play most musical instruments. Sometimes DJs at Hoshi’s club when Hyungwon, Jeonghan’s little crush, isn’t available
Fun facts: Woozi works from his own home studio so he barely ever leaves camp. He also doesn’t attend many social events unless really necessary. Spends longer hours than most members in physical and combat training - members suspect he considers himself a little weak since he’s the shortest and tend to hype him up at every given chance. He has the most beautiful long golden locks that he loves to style in various buns and braids.
Name: Xu Minghao (Myungho, Hao)
Descent: Son of Ares, God of War, Battle-lust and Courage
Symbol: War helmet
Role: Camp trainer - In charge of training members of combat. Assigns weapons and maintains the ones stored in reserves.
Residence: Brick House at the edge of the training field with his personal gym and simulation combat room.
Companion: None. Minghao does not feel any emotional attachment towards any living thing.
Profession: Tattoo artist - Minghao always liked things that were rebellious in nature and he’s a very talented artist so he decided to combine the two as his profession.
Fun facts: He’s one of the best warriors the world has ever seen - he's trained in many camps before he decided Camp Seventeen was it for him. The camp lost two Quest seasons because Minghao had to fight for the Amazonions as a favour to his dad but now he has the eternal support of the entire tribe. Although his father is the very symbol of rage and fury, Minghao tends to be quite calm and meditates often to keep inner peace.
Name: Kim Mingyu (Gyu, Big Boy)
Descent: Son of Hepheastus, God of Fire, Forges and Blacksmiths
Symbol: Smith's hammer
Role: Weapons master - he makes all the weapons and equipment for the members. Handles all engineering related matters on camp as well.
Residence: Has the only two storey house on camp - ground floor is his personal forgery and above it is his residence which the most automated, high tech place ever - seriously, he’s made a machine for everything
Companion: He used to have a baby donkey but lost it in a quest. (last it was seen was when Hoshi took a photo sitting on it) then Wonwoo gave him his dog because he was lonely.
Profession: Firefighter - being the son of the god of fire helps with that. Plus Mingyu is always looking to help people in need so it was a no brainer for him when the time came for him to pick a job. However now he’s considering leaving the job to become a chef
Fun facts: Mingyu is the tallest seventeen member so it's always hard to get gear for him - it's always too small or too tight. Mingyu isn’t particularly a fan of biking but knows it's one way he can spend time with Wonwoo so he built his own bike, FireBolt. Since the terrain on camp is too uneven for a bike, he built it to be able to transform into a mechanical bull at the click of a button allowing him to ride it around everywhere no camp, inducing mini earthquakes as it runs.
Name: Lee Seokmin (Dk, Min)
Descent: Son of Poseidon, God of Seas, Storms and Horses
Symbol: Water waves
Residence: He has a boat house in the middle of the lake which the members love to use as a party yacht much to his dismay.
Companion: Pegasus, a big stallion actually meant for battle but in reality it is a scaredy cat. Often runs the opposite side of combat regardless of Seokmin’s instructions
Role: Camp trainer - in charge of morning warm ups and drills. Helps members with general fitness and health.
Profession: Surf instructor - he spends pretty much all his time in and around sea because that is where he feels strongest. Often helps capsized boats and trapped animals though he’s not supposed to interfere and falls in trouble because of his good nature
Fun facts: Seokmin was deadly scared of water as a child and would not even go near it. His father personally trained him and prepared his son for demigod life. He is one of the only members who has lived in Olympus for a while in his younger days. He's incredibly sweet and considerate though most of Poseidon’s many many sons tend to be arrogant and rude
Name: Boo Seungkwan (Uri boo, Kwan)
Descent: Son of Hera, Queen of Gods, Goddess of Marriage, Family and Women
Symbol: Diadem
Role: Camp PR - Like Hoshi, he too establishes alliances and treaties with camps. Often the messenger to Olympus because his mother is queen - loved by all the Gods (except Zeus)
Residence: A Greek style house that Hera had instructed him to construct right in the middle of camp because she wants him to be the center of everything. Seungkwan dislikes it and often bunks with Vernon who’s the only one who hasn’t shooed him away when he approached.
Companion: Patricia, the peacock that his mother gifted him but it's a bit too high end and spoilt to be in a place like camp.
Profession: Wedding planner - Seungkwan loved weddings since he was a child mostly because he always saw his mother at one when she came to bless the unions. He decided to start his own company after nitpicking about how everyone was getting them all wrong and wanting to teach the world the right ways again.
Fun facts: If it's not already obvious, he’s a mummy’s boy. Though Hera is the very symbol of faithfulness, the growing number of her husband’s children prompted her to have children of her own, Seungkwan being the one she’s most fond of. He’s the latest addition to camp and within days of arriving, he had already boosted Seventeen’s image beyond their expectations. He runs a secret instagram page for Camp Seventeen who’s followers are mostly girls from other camps, because the pictures are mostly the members shirtless.
Name: Chwe Hansol (Vernon, Bonon)
Descent: Son of Artemis, Goddess of the Hunt, Wilderness, and Chastity
Symbol: Wolf
Role: Camp patrolling - along with Woozi, he too patrols the camp at daytime. Hunts wild animals which tend to find their way into the camps.
Residence: Twin houses with Woozi, his is silver and white and has a large enclosure for his hounds. His house shines according to the cycle of the moon - brightest at full moon, almost invisible at no moon.
Companion: Fifteen hounds that are descendants of the hounds that his mother hunts. He can’t remember fifteen names so he’s named as the numbers - One, Two, Three, so on.
Profession: Video gamer developer - Vernon had a lot of experience as a child when he was caste as Tv show host. Though, as much as he’s used to the entertainment industry, he likes to steer clear from it hence venturing into game development
Fun facts: Vernon is also the child of a virgin goddess and hence also a rare demigod. He’s famous for his chiseled features and is often babied by the Hunters of Artemis. Demigods aren’t allowed to meet their mortal families after initiating into camps but Vernon always sneaks out to meet his sister Sofia who he is very close to and fond of.
Name: Lee Chan (Dino, Maknae)
Descent: Son of Hermes, Messenger of Gods, God of Trade, Luck and Travel
Symbol: Caduceous
Role: Camp messenger - Much like his father, Dino plays the active role of camp transport-in-charge. Any and all deliveries are his job - even when Mingyu needs a ton of iron to weld.
Residence: A large camp tent at the entrance of camp - When he first came he claimed he wanted it to get ‘camp feels’ now he hates it but Cheol won’t let him change it.
Companion: A tortoise named Speedy which is as slow as he is fast. Always has to run, then wait for it to catch up, then run again and wait again and so on.
Profession: Cab driver - doesn’t particularly enjoy the job but it makes things easier for him. He says he’s saving up to go to med school one day but Woozi swears Dino said chest muscles are called pecs because they are short for spectacular so yeah, that’s probably not happening
Fun facts: He’s a kleptomaniac - he’s always stealing stuff from the members, his house is full of such artifacts. He’s also the most in touch with his demigod half siblings - the sons of Hermes are a tight bunch. Being the youngest in camp means he’s most teased but also most adored - camp messenger isn’t even a legit job, they just give him as little work as possible.
Name: [ ]
Descent: Daughter of Hestia, Goddess of Hearth, Home and Hospitality
Symbol: Fire
Role: Not yet assigned
Residence: Not yet built
Companion: Natalie the piglet who she found stuck in the trashcan one day and decided to raise. Natalie is a fledgling meaning its a creature of Olympus and does not follow time in the mortal world
Profession: Studying her last year of Architecture
Fun facts: She's the exact opposite of everything her mother is known for - very confrontational, not hospitable and not homely at all. Most Demigods are discovered when they are 16 but she made it to 25 undetected, no one knows how. Mingyu was the one who found her because of an accident that landed her in a lawsuit - Olympus assigned Camp Seventeen to her under the suggestion of the oracle.

⊹₊⟡⋆ masterlist | taglist ⊹₊⟡⋆
"Ach, it's freezing out here!" Wooyoung says, hissing through clenched teeth. "Whose idea was it to shoot a winter vlog?"
"You can take that up with your Captain," you reply.
You slide the lens off of the camera and carefully detach it from the tripod, wary of the ankle-deep snow it's wedged in.
"I won't be able to," Wooyoung mutters in response. "I'll be dead, because I froze to death."
You chuckle quietly, shaking your head at his dramatic behavior. As a part of ATEEZ's staff, you've come to terms with the fact that your job sometimes requires you to put up with less than ideal conditions and abnormal tasks. You have to admit that when management approved Hongjoong's idea to shoot a vlog at a winter cabin, you hadn't been overly excited about it.
Particularly, when you were assigned to be Wooyoung's personal camera operator. Of course you know that being assigned to a specific member not only means you have to follow them around all day long but also that you have to stare down a camera lens directly at their face for hours and hours.
You've done it plenty of times before for other members—usually Jongho or San. But management wanted to switch things up for a change of pace. If you're being honest, it's hard enough for you to hold eye contact with Wooyoung for ten seconds, let alone ten hours.
"Two steps to your right, please," you direct. He follows your instructions, and you nod. "Perfect. Okay, so for this part, just say hi and welcome everyone back to ATEEZ's YouTube channel and explain what we're doing here. You know how this all works. We can do a couple of takes if you want."
You position yourself behind the camera, lining up your sightline and raising a hand so that you can signal to Wooyoung. He stares directly into the camera, and it feels like he's looking straight into your eyes. Clearing your throat, you swallow a smile as he pastes a handsome grin on his face and prepares to deliver his lines.
"And...three, two, one..." you count down and point to cue Wooyoung.
"Hi Atiny!" he beams, waving sweetly. "It's my turn to film a vlog, so I'm taking you on a little winter adventure. We're here in Gangwon Province at a cabin that's just a little distance away from the Yongpyong Ski Resort."
He points in the direction of the ski lodge, and you smoothly angle the camera to where you can just see the tip of the resort sticking up over the tree line. You pan back to Wooyoung.
"We're gonna head there tomorrow to snowboard," he continues, "but for now we're gonna go inside and check out the cabin and then head into town to go grocery shopping for some food. So, let's go inside!"
"And cut!" you shout after pausing for a few seconds. "Wow, you nailed that. I'm impressed. Wanna see it?"
He nods and comes over to stand beside you. You position the camera so you can both see, too aware of how close he's standing; too aware of the way his warm breath ghosts over your uncovered neck. You gulp, playing the video back. He watches in uncharacteristic silence, nodding his head and clapping when the video ends. You smile, slinging the camera over your neck.
"Be honest. I'm better than the other members, right?" he says, grinning cheekily.
"Better than San? Yes, significantly better and much easier to work with. San has so much random, chaotic energy that it's hard to keep track of him sometimes. Better than Jongho?" you smile teasingly at him. "Never. Your maknae is a dream to work with."
Wooyoung scoffs, clutching his chest in fake pain. Despite yourself, you gasp when his hand clamps around your shoulder. He pretends to stumble, as if he's been shot. You bite the inside of your cheek to swallow a laugh and brush his hand away from your shoulder. Wooyoung smiles, tilting his head toward you.
"A dream? Oof. That's okay. Challenge accepted," he says.
He winks. You feel the burn immediately as it spreads across your ears and cheeks. You clear your throat, dropping your head to look at the camera screen. You're used to him flirting like that. He does it with everyone. Most of the members are shameless flirts. But you can't deny that when Wooyoung says things like that to you, you like to pretend he means it.
"Uh...let's head inside," you say, trying to change the subject. "We can do a cabin tour."
The cabin is small and simple, with just a living room, small kitchen, two bedrooms, and a shared bathroom. You silently thank your supervisor for remembering to book a cabin with two beds.
Taking into consideration Wooyoung's playful, excitable behavior, he's a natural in front of the camera. You're able to get through the cabin tour in less than twenty minutes with only two takes.
"And cut! Perfect. On second thought, Jongho might need to be a little worried now," you say. As you're double-checking the video, you find your teeth chattering violently. "Jeez, is there a thermostat in here? It's freezing."
Wooyoung shrugs, and you put down your camera as you both begin to search the cabin looking for the thermostat.
"Ah, found it!" Wooyoung shouts, and you follow his voice into the hallway.
"Oh thank god. Turn it all the way up, please."
Wooyoung chuckles. The way he grins at you, makes your stomach churn. Your eyes drop down to appreciate his slender fingers as they press the arrow next to the word HEAT. You wait a few seconds, listening intently for the sound of the heater clicking on. But nothing comes.
"Whaaa...?" he mumbles.
"Try again," you say.
He looks at you for a brief second before trying again, applying more pressure to the buttons this time. You wait again. Nothing. He tries a third time. And then a fourth time.
"Uh...maybe you have to hit another button first? Like to turn it on?" you suggest, peering over his shoulder to study the options.
He clicks every single button on the machine but nothing has any effect, whatsoever. He shakes his head, shooting you a concerned glance.
"Ahh," he whines. "I think it's broken."
"No...no there's no way it doesn't work...right? They would never put us in a cabin with a thermostat that doesn't work. Not in this weather. W-wait, hold on. Let me call someone an-and double check," you stutter, fumbling for your phone.
You dial your supervisor's number, tapping your foot as it rings. Your heart lurches when he answers on the other side. You explain the situation, sure that he'll have a solution. He assures you that he'll call the landlord and straighten everything out.
A sigh of relief escapes your chest, and you nod toward Wooyoung. Thank god. Crisis averted.
You finish up filming the cabin and then head down into town to shoot Wooyoung's shopping adventure. He lets his silliness come out a little more at the grocery store, getting up close and personal with the camera—and you. You laugh as he struggles to find the right products for the tteokbokki he wants to make for dinner, cracking jokes, and just generally looking really, really cute.
After traveling back up to the cabin, you film Wooyoung getting started on the dinner. The heat from the stove helps a little in warming the house, but you're impatiently awaiting the repairman's arrival. As if on cue, your phone rings. You place the camera down and answer quickly.
"Please tell me the repairman is walking up the path now?" you say into the receiver.
"Er..." your supervisor clears his throat, obviously nervous.
"Oh no...what?"
"I'm afraid the repairman is booked up today. He won't be able to make it until tomorrow."
"What?!"
"I know, I know. But there's a fireplace, at least, isn't there?"
Your gaze flicks toward the small fireplace in the living room.
"Well, yeah, but it...it's tiny."
"Well, it'll have to do for tonight. Listen, I'm sorry for the setback, but it's just for one night. If you need to buy some extra blankets or something, go ahead and we'll charge it to the company account. Anyway, this gives you a fun angle for Wooyoung's vlog. How to survive a night at a cabin without heat. You know, like a challenge. With a snappy title like, er...Freezing Point."
"Freezing point?" you quirk an eyebrow. "This was not supposed to be a challenge video. I wasn't even supposed to be assigned to this project," you whine, turning your back to Wooyoung and lowering your voice.
You are not strong enough for this.
"I'm sorry. There's nothing you can do except wait for the repairman to come tomorrow."
You run a hand over your face and groan.
"Okay, thanks anyway." You hang up and turn to meet Wooyoung's face. His eyebrows are raised curiously. "The repairman can't make it until tomorrow. We're stuck without heat tonight."
"Ahhh, no way," he responds.
"That tteokbokki better be piping hot."
Wooyoung chuckles, running a hand through his hair. When he turns away to check on the food, you allow your eyes to shamelessly trail along the angle of his jaw and down the veins in his neck. Your stomach flips unexpectedly, so you rip your gaze away.
Three years you've worked for ATEEZ, watched Wooyoung from behind the scenes, chit-chatted with him here and there while trying not to lose your mind. Now, here you are alone with him, watching him cook you dinner.
It suddenly feels so...domestic.
The tteokbokki is just warm enough to get some heat back into your bodies for about an hour or so. To your surprise, Wooyoung is not a bad cook, at all. You thoroughly enjoy your meal and talking to him. After cleaning up, you take turns changing into your pajamas. You both agree the best bet is to sleep on the floor in the living room where the fireplace is.
Wooyoung figures out how to light it while you search through the closets and drawers, gathering all the blankets you can find. You work together to set up the blankets and pillows across the floor in front of the fireplace, creating a makeshift bed. Despite the small space, you make sure to position yourself on the far edge of the room.
You lie down, facing the fire and pull a blanket up to your chin. Wooyoung, on the other hand, settles down on his back right in front of the fire. He holds out his hands, sighing contentedly. His eyes flick over to you, and he does a double take. His head lolls to the side.
"What are you doing over there?" he asks.
"Hm? Just...laying."
"Don't you...wanna sleep in front of the fire? I worked so hard lighting it," he pouts playfully.
You can't help but smile. How is he so cute??
"I'm okay here."
His eyes linger on you for a moment, and his unimpressed expression makes you think he's not convinced. But he shrugs and rolls back toward the fireplace.
"Suit yourself," he says in a sing-song voice.
You squeeze your eyes shut and try to sleep, but it's so freaking cold. Your breath escapes shakily, and you can't help but shiver, even with the blanket. A sniff makes you realize that your nose is beginning to run, too.
"Are you still cold?" Wooyoung's voice escapes sweet and low.
Your eyes flash open, and you lose your breath. He's turned on his side, the fire casting a gentle orange light across his handsome face. He looks so soft, warm, sincere.
You suddenly realize the situation you're in—the fact that you could be nestled in between his arms right now if you really wanted to.
"N-no. I'm f-fine," you stutter, clenching your teeth together to keep them from chattering. You aren't totally sure if the chattering is from the cold or your nerves.
"You're shivering."
"J-just a little. I'll be ok-kay."
He shakes his head, lifting the blanket beside him. He beckons you over with a toss of his head.
"Come here," he says. You hesitate, opening your mouth to protest, but nothing comes out. He waves you over again. "Come on. I won't bite. Unless you ask."
You huff and crawl toward him, stiffly positioning your body beside his. You don't know if it was more awkward to face him or to turn away. His arm curls around your shoulders as he drapes the blanket over you. Your spine goes rigid and eyes widen as you meet his gaze.
You watch as his sweet smile fades, his expression going dead serious. You expect him to withdraw his hand, but he doesn't. Instead, his fingers splay across your back. You can feel the warmth of his palm through your pajamas.
His eyes search your face, moving slowly and deliberately as if he were studying you.
"What are you doing?" you ask quietly, not sure if you actually mean to say it out loud.
"Looking at you."
"I've...never seen you so serious," you tease, hoping to dispel some of the tension.
"Pretty."
"What?"
"You. You're pretty. Very pretty. You always have been."
You freeze, not knowing how to respond. You can't bring yourself to break eye contact and can barely force yourself to breathe. Wooyoung's hand slides away from your back and moves toward your face. His palm cups your cheek, his thumb tracing down your cheekbone onto your chin. Your eyes flutter shut under his touch, relishing in the warmth of his palm. The pad of his thumb brushes over your lower lip. Your breath catches in your throat.
Is he insane?? You work for him. He's practically your boss. Nothing about this is appropriate.
So, why aren't you stopping him?
You pry your eyes open, looking at him pleadingly.
"Hmm," he hums, smirking. "You have a pretty mouth, too."
"Wooyoung..." the whisper, desperate and breathy, escapes your lips before you can stop it.
Wooyoung inhales sharply, squeezing his eyes shut and resting his forehead against yours.
"Do you have any idea what you do to me?" he asks, breath uneven as he leans in close to you. You say nothing, your brain preoccupied with the effort it's taking to resist smashing your lips against his. "It's been torture for me. Every second of every day, I think about you. All the time, I'm thinking about you. I try not to, but whenever you're working I find you. I look at you. I want to look at you. I love looking at you."
You shake your head, placing your palm against his chest to push him away. He holds on tightly, barely moving an inch despite all of your strength. You look into his eyes, bewildered.
"Wooyoung, what are you talking about? How can any of this be true?" you ask.
His eyebrows knit together, pain etching across his face.
"You think I'm lying."
"No, of course not. I just...maybe it's the cold. It's messing with your head or your judgement or something."
His expression returns to that dead serious face, not a hint of the easygoing, carefree Wooyoung you're used to.
"I requested you."
"What?"
"I specifically requested you for this weekend."
You shake your head.
"I don't understand."
"It was my idea to switch around the camera operators. And, since it was my idea, they let me pick who I wanted to be paired with. So, I picked you. It sounds super creepy now...but I wanted to spend time with you. Just the two of us. I wanted to see if...if I still felt like this when it was just us. A-and I do. I really, really do. I like you. A lot."
You can't say anything for a moment, just search his eyes for any hint of this being a joke. You briefly wonder if there's a hidden camera somewhere to prank you. But nothing seems off. Everything—his expression, his body language, his words—they all feel genuinely real.
You aren't sure why, but a laugh suddenly spills from your chest. A few more follow before you gasp, slapping your hand over your mouth.
"Oh my god I'm sorry!" you say. "I just don't know what else to do because, well, it's not funny, but it sort of is because...well, I like you, too. I've liked you for a while, probably like two years now, but it was so inappropriate because I work for you. And that would have been weird, and they say not to mix business and pleasure, so I didn't say anything. Oh, and also, I thought you would never ever like me back like that because who am I? I'm just a random person, but you're..." you start to run out of steam, realizing that you're babbling something awful. "You're Wooyoung. You're amazing and wonderful and funny. And beautiful."
Wooyoung chuckles, his grip on your face tightening.
"Yeah, no, I definitely like you."
You giggle, feeling heat spread through you.
"So, what now?"
"Now? Oh, I'm gonna kiss you now. Okay?"
"Okay," your voice escapes like a different person's, giddy and childish and silly.
Wooyoung leans forward, tilting his head to capture your lips between his. Your eyes flutter shut, your palm on his chest curling into the fabric of his shirt. His mouth is soft and wet, molding perfectly on top of yours. The kiss is perfect, not too long, not too hard, just a little bit of pressure and a slow break.
When you open your eyes, a dumb smile curves across your lips. The way he's looking at you—like you're the most interesting thing on the planet—it's wonderful.
"I think maybe you just surpassed Jongho," you tease.
"Really?"
"Yeah, well, Jonho's never kissed me like that."
His expression goes serious for a minute.
"Jongho better never kiss you at all," he says firmly. He taps his pointer finger against your lips. "These are mine now."
"Then you'd better get back down here and use them."
"Yes, jagi."
You giggle as he lowers his lips to yours again.
How to survive a night at a cabin without heat? Three words: Jung Wooyoung's lips.

Yabuki Nako x Reader
Note: The anon who graciously donated their story ideas, pls reveal yourself so i can properly credit you TT
also damn you (the reader) is so mean in this one lol

Nako was the kind of person you couldn’t help but notice, even if you weren’t trying to.
She wasn’t loud or attention-seeking—in fact, the opposite. She was polite to the point of frustration, always ready with a bright “Good morning!” that somehow felt genuine, even before you’d had your coffee. She had this… air about her, like she was constantly living in a world that operated just slightly differently from everyone else’s.
At first, you chalked it up to her being a little quirky. She wasn’t the type to gossip by the water cooler or complain about management like the rest of you. Instead, she spent breaks humming to herself, sketching in the corners of her notepad, or scrolling through something on her phone with a half-hidden grin that made her seem like she had a secret no one else could access.
Her petite frame and doll-like features didn’t help; she was practically tailor-made to make people underestimate her. You’d learned the hard way that behind her soft-spoken demeanour was a sharp wit and an uncanny ability to weasel out of assignments with the sweetest smile you’d ever seen.
But now, as you stared at her, all of those little quirks seemed less like personality traits and more like puzzle pieces. A series of breadcrumbs leading to the possibility that Yabuki Nako, your pleasant, slightly strange coworker…might be living a double life as a VTuber.
It was a hunch, but it didn't feel like a coincidence.
You first noticed it during one of those too-quiet afternoons at the office. The kind where the hum of the air conditioning and the sporadic clicking of keyboards were the loudest sounds in the room. Everyone else seemed to be deep in thought—or pretending to be.
You, on the other hand, had drifted into the void of YouTube, browsing the usual algorithm rabbit hole. Employee of the year, people.
It wasn’t long before you stumbled upon a clip from a VTuber. Her avatar was a tiny, overly-cute anime girl with pink hair, big sparkling eyes, and a voice so saccharine you could feel cavities forming. You didn’t think much of it—VTubers were everywhere these days, especially in Japan—but something about this one stopped you from scrolling away.
The voice.
It was familiar. Not just vaguely familiar. It was exactly familiar.
Your eyes darted across the office, scanning for the source of that nagging sense of recognition. The answer came to you when your gaze landed on Nako.
Today, she was wearing one of her usual oversized sweaters, the sleeves swallowing her hands as she typed away at her computer. Her expression was neutral, her eyes focused on the screen like she was deeply engrossed in work. But now that you were paying attention, you noticed her glancing at her phone every few minutes, her fingers tapping at it with a practiced swiftness.
And that grin. It wasn’t the polite, work-friendly smile she usually wore. It was something smaller, almost mischievous, like she was laughing at a joke only she understood.
You scrunched your nose, watching her for a beat longer than was polite.
Couldn’t be.
Just to be sure, you replayed the clip. The voice filled your ears and minds again, bright and bubbly, complete with giggles and high-pitched squeals that had "Nako" written all over them.
You shook your head. This was ridiculous. There were millions of VTubers out there—what were the odds? But as you kept thinking, the resemblance became impossible to ignore. The intonation, the slight lilt at the end of her sentences, even the way she laughed—it was uncanny.
Uh, hey….”
You jumped, nearly dropping your phone as Nako appeared next to your desk. Her big brown eyes blinked up at you innocently. “Did you need something? You’ve been staring at me.”
Her voice was calm, level, nothing like the hyperactive VTuber’s voice… but now you couldn’t unhear it.
“Oh, uh, no. Just spacing out.” You forced a laugh and stuffed your phone into your pocket.
Nako tilted her head, unconvinced. “Spacing out? While looking right at me?”
“I was, uh, thinking.”
“About?”
Her tone was casual, but there was something sharp in her gaze, like she was trying to read your mind. And maybe she was—Nako wasn’t as innocent as she looked. You’d seen her casually manipulate her way out of covering shifts more than once.
“Stuff,” you said, shrugging.
“Uh-huh.” Nako squinted, then smiled brightly. “Okay! Well, don’t let me stop you from… thinking.”
She walked back to her desk, but not before throwing one last suspicious glance over her shoulder.
You released a breath you hadn’t realized you were holding. Your heart was pounding like you’d been caught sneaking into the office fridge. It was just a coincidence, right? There was no way Nako—your soft-spoken, slightly quirky coworker—was living a double life as a virtual anime girl.
Right?
But the more you thought about it, the less ridiculous it seemed. Nako was always rushing off after work, claiming she had "personal projects" to take care of. She wasn’t particularly active on social media, and when she was, it was all vague posts about being "super busy."
And now, that voice.
You glanced at her again. She was typing away at her computer, completely unaware that you were mentally unravelling her secret life. Or maybe she wasn’t.
Either way, you needed to be sure. That Nako is…that Vtuber Yako.
-
"Nako-ya," you start casually, leaning against the edge of her desk. Your posture is deliberately relaxed, the perfect contrast to the laser-sharp focus you’re secretly aiming at her. The office hums with activity around you, the clatter of keyboards and faint chatter forming a pleasant backdrop.
Nako doesn’t look up, her face slightly illuminated by the soft glow of her monitor. Her fingers move briskly across the keyboard, her brow furrowed in concentration. "Hmm? What is it?" she mumbles, barely sparing you a glance.
"Just curious," you say, tilting your head as if in thought. "Do you stream? Or, I don’t know, have some kind of secret hobby?"
She freezes. Not long—just for a split second—but enough for you to notice. Her hands hesitate above the keys, her lips parting in surprise before quickly pressing together. "Secret hobby? Me? No, not really," she replies, a little too casually. Her voice is steady, but the quick swipe of her bangs behind her ear betrays her nerves.
You shrug, keeping your tone light. "Oh, no reason. Just thought I heard someone with a voice like yours on YouTube the other day."
Her gaze finally snaps to yours. Wide eyes. A flicker of panic. Then she schools her expression, sitting up straighter in her chair. "Lots of people have similar voices," she says lightly, her lips curling into a small, tight smile.
"Yeah, totally." You nod, standing upright. But inside, your curiosity is only growing.
She’s hiding something. I can feel it.
-
A few days later, you approach her desk again, armed with a coffee cup as a peace offering. "Morning, Nako," you chirp, pulling up a chair to sit beside her.
She glances at the cup, then at you, suspicion flickering in her eyes. "What do you want?" she asks, her tone wary but playful.
"Nothing! Just enjoying some coffee and a chat with my favourite coworker," you say innocently. Then, lowering your voice, you lean slightly closer. "By the way, have you ever heard of someone called 'Yako'?"
Her reaction is instantaneous. Her fingers fumble on the keyboard, and she nearly knocks over her water bottle trying to grab it. "Wh-what? No! Why would you ask that?"
You lean back, studying her with an amused grin. Her cheeks are flushed, her eyes darting everywhere but at you. She shifts in her chair, crossing her arms tightly over her chest as though shielding herself from further interrogation.
"Just curious," you say with a shrug, sipping your coffee. "Her voice sounds a lot like yours. And the way she talks? Weirdly similar."
Her laugh is high-pitched and nervous, her fingers fidgeting with the hem of her sleeve. "That’s ridiculous," she says quickly, waving you off. "It’s not me. I don’t even watch VTubers."
"Ah, fair enough," you reply smoothly, standing up. But you catch the way her shoulders tense as you walk away, her back stiff like she’s bracing for more.
Gotcha.
-
It becomes your new favourite pastime—seeing how far you can push her without outright accusing her. During lunch one day, you sit across from her in the break room, your tray clattering against the table as you settle in.
"Catchy tune, huh?" you say, humming the opening theme from Yako’s latest stream.
Nako’s chopsticks pause midway to her mouth. Her head snaps up, her eyes narrowing slightly as she tries to gauge your intentions. "What’s that?"
"Oh, just a song stuck in my head," you reply nonchalantly, taking a bite of your food. "It’s from this VTuber I’ve been watching. You wouldn’t believe how many people think her voice is addictive."
Her laugh is strained, and she resumes eating, though her movements are mechanical. She doesn’t meet your eyes, her focus glued to the bowl in front of her. "Must be a coincidence," she mutters, stirring her rice with more force than necessary.
You nod, pretending to let it go, but you’re watching her closely. The way her grip tightens around the chopsticks. The way her jaw clenches slightly, as if she’s holding back a response.
"Funny thing," you add after a beat, "her gestures are so specific. Like that thing she does with her hands when she’s excited." You mimic the exact motion, your grin widening as her shoulders visibly stiffen.
"I don’t know what you’re talking about," she snaps, her cheeks bright red now. She shoves a piece of kimchi into her mouth, chewing like it’s her only way to escape the conversation.
"Sure, sure," you say, leaning back with a smirk.
-
The office meeting is the next perfect setup. After the boss asks for creative ideas, Nako surprises everyone with a well-thought-out pitch about animated characters for a marketing campaign.
"That was… really specific," you say later, catching her in the hallway. She’s holding a stack of papers, hugging them tightly to her chest.
"What do you mean?" she asks, her tone cautious.
"You clearly know a lot about animation," you say, walking beside her. "For someone who supposedly doesn’t watch VTubers, it’s kind of impressive of how creative your solutions are."
Her eyes widen slightly, and she stumbles over her words. "I—I just… read about it somewhere!" she blurts, her voice an octave higher than usual.
You smile, your gaze lingering on her as she fumbles with the doorknob to the break room. Her movements are jerky, her lips pressed into a thin line as she avoids your gaze. "Of course. Just something you read," you say, holding the door open for her.
She hurries past you, muttering a quick "Thanks," and you can’t help but chuckle.
You’re almost there, Nako. Almost.
-
That evening, you sit at your desk at home, your laptop glowing faintly in the dim room. You have the stream open, the lively chat scrolling endlessly beside the avatar of Yako. Her signature pink hair bounces every time she moves, and the soft tone of her voice—yes, her voice—is as distinct as ever.
You recline in your chair, sipping your drink, a knowing grin already spreading across your face. Tonight’s stream is titled “CGR - Chill, Gaming, and Rant” It’s only been ten minutes since the stream started, and she’s already flustered, her voice rising slightly as she rants.
"I’m telling you, chat, there’s this coworker of mine, and they’ve been so annoying lately!" she huffs, her virtual avatar mirroring the pout you’re sure she’s making behind the screen.
The chat explodes with reactions: "LOL who is it??" "Drama at the office?? Spicy!" "Is it someone cute??"
You can’t help but laugh, stifling the sound behind your hand. There’s no mistaking the frustration in her tone, and the knowledge that you’re the source of her irritation makes it even better.
She sighs dramatically, the avatar’s shoulders slumping. "They keep asking me the weirdest questions! Like, 'Do you stream?' or 'Have you heard of VTubers?' Like, seriously? What kind of question is that?"
Leaning closer to the screen, you rest your chin on your hand, utterly amused.
Poor Nako. If only you knew I’m watching right now.
"I mean, sure, maybe my voice sounds a little like a VTuber they watch, but come on! Do I look like someone who has time for that?" she says, her tone dripping with faux indignation. The chat eats it up, spamming laughing emojis and teasing comments.
"Nako-chan sus" "Sounds like they’re onto something " "Give them a break! Maybe they’re just a fan?"
Her avatar mimics her throwing her hands up in exasperation. "A fan? Ha! If they were a fan, they’d leave me alone! But noooo, they have to keep pestering me every day."
"Come on, Nako-chan," you mutter under your breath, smirking. "It's fun trying to figure you out ."
As if on cue, she leans closer to the virtual screen, her voice dropping into a conspiratorial whisper. "And the worst part? They’re so smug about it! Every time I say it’s not me, they just smile like they know something. It’s driving me crazy!"
You laugh out loud this time, unable to help yourself. The timing, the delivery—it’s comedy gold.
The stream continues, and Nako eventually moves on to gameplay, but the occasional quip about her “annoying coworker” keeps slipping in.
"Chat, imagine this: you’re trying to work, minding your own business, and someone just waltzes over to your desk like, ‘Hey, are you this another person?’" she says, mimicking your voice in an exaggerated tone. "Who does that?! Who has that much audacity? Who even bothered?!"
Your sides hurt from laughing now, and you type into the chat with your anonymous username: "Maybe they just want to get to know you better, Nako-chan! "
She reads it aloud, her avatar squinting. "‘Maybe they just want to get to know you better’—psh, yeah, right. More like they want to ruin my life! YOU MOTHER*****!!! "
The chat erupts again, and you lean back in your chair, cackling your ass off and satisfied. It’s almost too much fun watching her complain about you without realizing you’re listening.
As the stream wraps up, she sighs dramatically one last time. "Anyway, thanks for listening to me rant, everyone. I needed that. And if my coworker somehow sees this—" She leans closer, her avatar's face filling the screen. "Stop. Pestering. Me!"
You grin, saluting the screen. "No promises, Nako-ya. No promises."
-
It’s just another ordinary day at the office—except it’s not. You’ve been inching closer to the truth for weeks now, and every interaction with Nako has only added more fuel to your suspicions. Today, though, feels different. There’s a tension in the air, something you can’t quite put your finger on.
Nako is sitting at her desk, her head bent over a stack of papers. She’s unusually quiet, not even giving you her usual half-hearted glare when you casually stroll past her cubicle. Her fingers fidget with the edge of her sleeve, her knee bouncing under the desk—a sure sign she’s on edge.
You seize the moment.
"Hey, Nako-yaaa," you say, leaning over the partition with an innocent grin.
She doesn’t even look up. "Ugh. What now?" she mumbles, her voice clipped.
"Oh, nothing much," you reply casually, pretending to examine a report in your hands. "Just thought I’d ask if you caught that new Yako stream last night. It was hilarious."
Her hand freezes mid-motion, the pen slipping from her fingers and clattering onto the desk. Slowly, she looks up, her eyes wide with a mixture of panic and resignation. "I—I don’t watch VTubers," she stammers, her voice a pitch higher than usual.
You raise an eyebrow, feigning surprise. "Really? That’s a shame. She was continuing her ranting about this super annoying coworker who keeps pestering her. Sounded oddly familiar."
Nako’s cheeks flush a deep pink, and she immediately averts her gaze, pretending to rummage through her desk drawer. "That’s… a coincidence," she mutters.
"Sure, sure," you say, watching her closely. She’s avoiding eye contact like her life depends on it, her shoulders hunched as though she’s trying to disappear into her chair.
You decide to press your advantage. "You know," you say, your tone turning teasing, "I know I talked a lot about this but I’ve been thinking. If you were a VTuber—and I’m not saying you are—it’d be pretty smart to complain about your coworkers on stream. Get it all off your chest, you know?"
Her head snaps up, and for a moment, she looks like a deer caught in headlights. "I—what—why would you even think that?" she sputters, her voice cracking slightly.
You lean closer, resting your arms on the edge of her desk. "Oh, I don’t know," you say, smirking. "The voice, the mannerisms, the very specific hand gestures you do when you’re excited. It’s all a bit too familiar, don’t you think?"
Nako’s face is now as red as a tomato. She opens her mouth to respond, but no sound comes out. Instead, she drops her gaze to her lap, her hands twisting nervously in her lap.
"I—I don’t know what you’re talking about," she says weakly, but the tremble in her voice gives her away.
You chuckle, leaning back. "Relax, Nako. I’m just messing with you."
But she doesn’t relax. In fact, she looks even more panicked now, her fingers clenching the edge of her desk so tightly her knuckles turn white.
That’s when it happens.
Her phone buzzes on the desk, and in her haste to grab it, she accidentally swipes the screen. For a split second, you catch a glimpse of her notifications—one of which is a message from someone named Mod-Kazuya: “Great stream last night, Yako-chan!”
The world goes still.
You glance up at her, your eyebrows raised. She freezes, her hand hovering over the phone, her eyes darting between you and the screen.
"So…" you say, breaking the silence, "…you don’t watch VTubers, huh?"
Her shoulders slump, and she lets out a long, defeated sigh. "Fine," she mutters, dropping her head into her hands. "You win."
The victory feels sweeter than you imagined. You can’t stop the grin that spreads across your face as you watch her squirm in her seat.
"I knew it!" you exclaim, pointing a finger at her. "You’re Yako!"
"Keep your voice down!" she hisses, glancing around the office in a panic.
You chuckle, dropping into the chair beside her desk. "So, how long were you going to keep this from me?"
"As long as I could," she mutters, burying her face in her hands.
Her vulnerability softens your teasing just a bit, and you lean in slightly, lowering your voice. "Relax, Nako. Your secret’s safe with me… for now."
She peeks at you through her fingers, her expression a mix of relief and suspicion. "What do you mean, ‘for now’?"
You smirk, folding your arms. "Well, let’s just say you owe me a favour or two. You know, for keeping quiet."
Her groan is muffled by her hands. "I hate you."
"No, you don’t," you say cheerfully, standing up. "Come on, Nako-chan V. Let’s grab some coffee. My treat."
Her glare follows you all the way to the break room, but the faint smile tugging at the corner of her lips doesn’t escape your notice.
-
It began innocently enough—or so you’d like to think.
You weren’t a tyrant, just opportunistic. After all, you held a golden ticket: the knowledge of Yabuki Nako’s secret life as a VTuber. And to her credit, she had taken your harmless requests in stride—at first. And the first test of her patience starts with coffee.
“Nako-chan, could you grab me an extra cup from the breakroom?” you ask, flashing a polite smile. “I’m drowning in emails here.”
Her head snaps up from her monitor, her brows furrowed in disbelief. “You were just in there five minutes ago. You had a fresh cup in your hand.”
You tilt your head, feigning a moment of thought. “True. But I drank it all. And you’re, well…” You let your voice trail off, shrugging as if the answer is obvious.
She narrows her eyes. “I’m what?”
“…good at grabbing coffee?” you offer sheepishly, your grin betraying your faux innocence.
Her lips press into a firm line, her eyes narrowing into suspicious slits. You see the flicker of a battle waging behind her gaze—outright refusal versus the undeniable fear of your leverage. With a huff that’s more air than sound, she rises from her chair, muttering in Japanese under her breath. You don’t catch the full meaning, but the sharpness of her tone makes the message clear:
You’re a piece of sh*t.
When she returns, her lips twitch into a strained, professional smile as she sets the cup down a little harder than necessary. “Your coffee. Enjoy.”
“Thanks, Nako! You’re the best!” you reply, suppressing the grin tugging at your lips.
Her forced smile tightens, and she pivots back to her desk, muttering something again. This time, you swear it’s about wishing coffee burns weren’t fatal.
The second favour comes during the weekly rush to print reports.
“Hey, Nako,” you whisper conspiratorially, leaning over the divider between your desks. “Could you grab the printouts for me?”
She doesn’t bother to look up. “The printer’s ten steps away.”
“…I know,” you say, resting your elbow on the divider and propping your chin on your palm. “But you’re already standing. It’ll save me some precious seconds to finish this email.”
Her shoulders rise and fall in a slow, exasperated sigh. This time, she turns her whole body toward you, lips twitching downward in irritation. “You’re sitting. You’re literally doing nothing.”
“I’m multitasking,” you counter smoothly, pointing at your screen where your email draft has precisely one line. “See? Hard at work.”
Her gaze lingers on you for a moment, her expression unreadable. Then, without a word, she stands and stomps toward the printer. Her ponytail bounces aggressively with each step, a physical manifestation of her frustration.
When she returns, she drops the papers onto your desk with a loud slap and leans over, her face close to yours. Her lips are pursed, her cheeks puffed out slightly in barely contained fury, and her eyes bore into yours like twin daggers.
“Next time,” she says in a low, dangerous tone, “I’m shredding them.”
You blink innocently. “Thanks, Nako. Truly. I couldn’t do this without you.”
Her jaw tightens, and she storms back to her desk, muttering again. You’re starting to think her muttering is a stress response you’ve singlehandedly cultivated.
It’s after the third week of subtle pestering that her patience begins to fray in earnest. By now, she’s learned to recognize the telltale grin on your face and the overly polite tone you reserve just for her.
“Nako,” you start sweetly, leaning over her desk during your Friday team meeting. “Could you take notes for me?”
Her eyes widen imperceptibly, and she stiffens in her chair. “Why?”
“I forgot my notebook,” you whisper. “And you’re so much better at taking notes than I am.”
Her lips press into a tight line, and her cheeks flush faintly. “Unbelievable,” she mutters under her breath, shaking her head. Still, she takes the papers from your outstretched hand, her fingers gripping them a little too firmly.
Halfway through the meeting, she glances sideways at you, her brows knit tightly together. “You owe me,” she hisses, her voice barely audible.
You glance at her, trying not to laugh at the mixture of irritation and resignation written across her face. Her brows are furrowed, her nose scrunched slightly in annoyance, and her lips are pulled into a sharp pout. It’s almost endearing—if she weren’t so obviously plotting your demise.
“Of course,” you whisper back. “Anything for my favourite coworker.”
Her expression shifts ever so slightly, her glare softening just a fraction. But then, as if remembering she’s supposed to be angry, she elbows you in the side, her pout deepening.
“Quiet,” she mutters, her cheeks now faintly pink.

The breaking point comes one chaotic Monday morning.
“Nako, can you—”
Her chair screeches as she bolts upright, her face flushed with a mixture of anger and embarrassment. “No! Absolutely not!”
The office falls silent, every head turning in your direction. Her fists are clenched at her sides, and her eyes glisten with unshed frustration. Her normally calm expression is replaced with one of raw exasperation, her lips trembling as she speaks.
“You’ve made me your personal assistant for weeks! Coffee, notes, files—I’m not your errand girl!” she snaps, her voice rising slightly before cracking. She takes a deep breath, her gaze lowering to the floor. “And if you tell anyone about...you know...I’ll—” Her voice falters, and she slumps back into her chair, her frustration giving way to quiet defeat.
The silence is deafening until you finally break it with a quiet, “Okay.”
Her head snaps up, her wide eyes meeting yours. “What?”
“I’m sorry,” you say sincerely, rubbing the back of your neck. “I thought we were just messing around. I didn’t mean to stress you out.”
Her lips part slightly, but no words come out. She stares at you, her eyes searching your face for any sign of deceit.
“I mean it,” you say softly. “No more favours. No more pestering. I’ll keep your secret because I respect you, not because I can use it.”
Her expression softens, and the tension in her shoulders eases. “You’re serious?”
“Absolutely,” you say with a nod. Then, a small grin sneaks onto your face. “But I do feel bad, so...how about lunch on me?”
Her lips twitch into the faintest of smiles. “Lunch and dessert.”
“Deal,” you say, standing and grabbing your wallet. “Come on, my favourite coworker.”
She huffs but follows you, her cheeks faintly pink. “You’re still insufferable, you know.”
“Oh wow, never knew that.” you reply, holding the door open for her. “Just your good old insufferable coworker.”
For the first time that day, she laughs…followed by assuring the onlookers after the meal.
