🥤🍔 Diner Cookie runs a diner ( I did not come up a name for it lmao) and she’s considered the fastest worker in the diner. With her roller blades and help with her pet Soda Jerk, she can quickly clear out the lunch hour in any time! She’s very friendly towards everyone, but she is Oreo’s rival. She’s also not fond of her older sister, Strawberry Filling, because she’s very lazy and never helps her in the diner.

⚫️🥛 Oreo Cookie is a very pompous cookie. Coming from a rich cookie family, Oreo is a cookie with high standards. She’s willing to still run with other cookies, but she’s here to brag about her stats. With her trusted pet Sparkling Milk, she can be brought her special boat to cheat in races lmao. She bullies Diner for her lack of wealth and they fight a lot. She’s not really cool with many Cookies unless they got money.

(Oreo Cookie can also be called Cookies n Cream Cookie, in case of copyright issues cuz I obviously don’t own Oreos lmfaooo)

🍪🍫 Originally, this Cookie is supposed to be a Chocolate Chip Cookie. But, they ended up being a little too excited to get off the oven, and ended up like they are today. However, Cookie Dough is fine with how they are. They can shapeshift and grow in size, especially if special chips are given by their pet Chippy Bird. They are very friendly with every Cookie.

(They go by any pronouns, I’m just using they for consistency)

Homemade Oreos

This recipe didn't work out so well. The recipe is from Claire Saffitz (transcript in the "Food" folder). The flavor of the cookies was wonderful, especially the browned butter element, but the butter weight was too high in proportion to the other ingredients and the cookies were greasy and crumbled and broke upon picking up (see left photo) and fell apart when bitten into (right photo). I think I'd like to make these again with a more traditional shortbread proportion of ingredients (3:2:1) and 15% cocoa powder for the cookies. Alternately I would try a royal icing cut out cookie proportion, because those hold their shape really well.

Because I felt that the filling was a bit too fatty and soft I would sub shortening for the coconut oil, only melt the cocoa butter, beat it into the shortening and confectioner's sugar, and roll that out, freeze and cut, or maybe pipe it on if it seems like the consistency would allow it.
