Watching Kiki's Delivery Service bout to make me write my boss a thank you note
#im on my periodddddd#captilism and bootlicking aside I actually like my job#so its nice to have something to do and be done before 1 most days (I only have to do 8am-4pm once a week)#its part time and I mostly handle 3rd shift well (which varries between 3AM to 4AM start times) bc I have insomnia most nights anyway#oh and I love stationary dawg I have all these lil washi tapes and glitter pens that I don't use a lot anymore#and being a Baker is something that I always felt denied access to so to finally be able to call myself competent and a food scientist lol#to be able to follow a recipe makes me feel accomplished#it makes me feel like there's this long road full of cracks and potholes I can look back on#and see that I actually did something worth while with my time on earth#even if its just a little thing. I can finally feel a little accomplished. I can breathe a bit#and it's really because someone took a real chance on me... and idk no one has done that in a while#there's something different about being independent this time around#I think its because I did it my way?#it me
