One reason I like using tumblr is because the tags actually work. Instagram and tictok are miserable to look for specific stuff on, god even YouTube is getting worse about this

I was just on tictok and it doesn’t matter what the fuck I search or what tags I scroll it starts showing me random shit after like three videos. If I wanted to scroll the fucking fyp I would do that so whyyyyy dose it insist on making every single thing connected to the fucking algorithm

Instagram is just as bad although I will admit people are more prone to putting random tags on posts to try to get more likes or whatever. YouTube seems to be slowly showing me more random videos I’ve already watched when searching tho this isn’t nearly as bad.

TikTok is by far the worst about this and it is sooo annoying. I’m just trying to look at fan works for a specific fandom stop showing me other stuff!!!

I am feeling a way about Aelwyn continually inviting Adane to hang out at her apartment even though it's a disaster area with her ten ornery cats and scattered microwave dinner trays. I know a part of that is Brennan just wanting a reason to show the audience the very funny contrast from, "I came here to fuck!" to "Nooo Hector :(" But there's also something to her being like, "I want you here with me even though it will entirely ruin any possible remaining mystique around my cool girl persona"--something she absolutely still cares about in a general sense as she tells Adaine not to tell Fabian anyone else about what her apartment is like. It's one thing to be nice, but it's another to be vulnerable, especially when you've been raised in such a way that every weakness was used as a future attack--so much so that her entire brand of magic is protecting herself and not being vulnerable.

So I've been generally out of the loop with Homestuck^2 but I have some thoughts due to the most recent upd8.

Please HS2 team don't be messing with me I NEED to see another game of Sburb because there is so much potential for the roleplayers, wiki divers, game devs and game enjoyers out here waiting with bated breath for more info.

As many of you may or may not know, there are LARGE gaps in the info we have about Sburb that HS2 could be aiming to patch. Namely: What does a regular game of Sburb actually look like? All the ones we've seen have had both major deviations from what "normal gameplay" is as well as large parts glossed over that I know I and many people would LOVE to have more explanations for.

Even just more data points would be great, which brings me to something else HS2 could show: What do all the (cl)as(s)pects do? Now we do have some ideas about what all the aspects and classes do but as many theorists know we are simply lacking data points on many different aspects and classes. With the chance that some ex-players could be going in with them I am personally hoping the last few aspects and classes get some extra info on them in the form of the latest kids.

The following classes and aspects being assigned would give us at least 2 proper data points on each if they are assigned:

Mage, Thief, Sylph, Bard, Blood, Rage, Mind and Doom.

These classes and aspects are given to at least one troll but no humans, thus begging more questions about them. At least with Sylph and Thief we have Arcadia and Meenah, but a full game showing these off would be greatly appreciated.

Of course I am extremely curious as well about how all our ex-players/guardians will affect this upcoming game but instead of getting into my theories on that let me leave you with this:

I was looking up something else but ran across this:

It got me thinking about discussions about Will leaving Emory for his friends, but in this scene, when he owes everyone an explanation, he considers Emory to be the most deserving of one. He speaks to her before turning to them. He doesn't want to see the emotions she's feeling reflected in her eyes, but she forces himself to, because her opinion of him matters the most.

And a few paragraphs down was this line, which made me think of the people who doubt Will's loyalty. He says he wouldn't commit, promising to succeed, if he wasn't entirely positive he would.

Will wouldn't have married her if he thought there was a possibility of him cheating. Yes, most people who do cheat, don't start off thinking they will. But Will's also extremely loyal. He wouldn't commit to Emory if the situation with Alex wasn't completely over. Besides, we know she was just a bandaid for his pain, whereas Emory was the cure.
