I saw your DD graph asking for other ideas, so... if you still have any desire to do further Dracula graphs I'd be curious to see how the word count per character breaks down (not how much they speak but how much they write. Adding all their diary entries together, etc.). Obviously Mina wins by default from having typed up the whole novel but outside of that detail, how much did each person author?

So first off, if you just want to visualize the author breakdown, ta-dahhhh!

Seward was staunchly in the lead, talking his head off and burning through those wax recording drums like no ones business. Poor Mina for having to transcribe it all. In total his words made up 39.3% of Dracula. Nearly 40%!

Seward unsurprisingly had the most individual entries overall at 47, and had the longest streak for being the narrator in an entry at 10 days (09/02 - 09/11) with Mina following right behind at 9 days (08/10 - 08/19)

Mina surprisingly was 3rd overall both in word count and number of entries. She wasn't even in the top 3 for most words in a day which is as follows.

1 - Seward October 3rd - 9942 words

2 - Seward September 29th - 7206 words

3 - Jonathan October 3rd - 5944 words

Van Helsing only had 9 entries total but still came in number 4 for word count, in front of Lucy. It's interesting to note that the amount a person writes doesn't correlate to the amount of time they are being written about/appear. Which is why Arthur and Quincey don't even beat out the newspaper clippings for words, lol.

There are lots of authors we only hear from a single time, like Sister Agatha. So I've decided to make a small fry pie as well. (Authors under ~500 words)

The captain of the Demeter and Van Helsing both had more days written than Lucy! Though I didn't break up number of entries, like when the log of the Demeter had 3 or 4 on one day or Lucy wrote a letter and in her diary.

Potentially MAJOR Hazbin season 2 spoiler if this “leak” ends up not being a fake. I just need to get my thoughts and feelings out somewhere and maybe there are a few others out there that feel the same way I do about it.

I just saw on TikTok a supposed leaked song with line animation that, if true, reveals that Rosie owns Alastor’s soul.

It’s hard to tell what’s fake or not nowadays with so many super talented artists and people using AI generated voices to mimic the actual voice actors so I REALLY hope it’s just a convincing fake.

If this is true though, I will be absolutely DEVASTATED. I adore their friendship - and not just the fanon friendship and/or QPR that we as a fandom have created with HC’s - but also the canon friendship we saw in episode 7 of season 1.

Have you ever had something happen in a show that upset/disappointed you so much that you actually had to step away from the show for a while and process before you could continue to watch and enjoy it? That will be me if this is real.

Because the wording in the song, plus the rough animation accompanying it, really gives the impression that (1) They don’t like each other at all like we thought they did & (2) Rosie literally views Alastor as a pet to puppet and nothing more.

And a friend of mine said that even if it’s real they could still maybe be friends but I’m sorry, Alastor as a character just wouldn’t be friends with or even willingly friendly with someone who owns him and limits his powers to where he almost dies in a fight and has a mental breakdown about after said fight. So if this is a true leak, season 1 episode 7 was all fake friendship and that hurts my heart so much.

Also, aside from the fact that I’ll be heartbroken about this, it just doesn’t make sense to me from a plot standpoint. I know a lot of people don’t want it to be Lilith just because it seems obvious but Lilith or Roo at least make sense narratively.

I just don’t see how, story wise, Rosie owning him could make as much sense as other potential candidates for who he has a contract with.

Why would Rosie help the hotel by letting Charlie use her people to fight for the hotel and then turn around and handicap a powerful person that is also defending the hotel? Why make him disappear for 7 years, what did she possibly gain from that? As far as I can tell nothing really changed for her during his absence.

Anyways, I’m rambling. TL:DR if the “leaked” song and animation ends up being a real leak I will be devastated and very disappointed in Hazbin.

Flemeth, Character File Description DAI

So I'm combing through the character game files while I try to beat the heat. And I got to Flemeth's and there is a rather juicy bit in her character description.

I don't know how much it still holds up, if at all. I'm going to put it below the cut in case anyone would prefer not to see behind the curtain.

This is Flemeth from the previous two games. In this game, Flemeth's story comes to a head-- she knew that Solas would summon her, and that he would need to steal her power to further his plans. She knew that because they are both elven gods... yet Solas has slept for a thousand years and his power dwindled, while she was killed long ago and a spark escaped from her into the body she now holds. She has nurtured that spark, and knew that Solas would need it. He was once her oldest friend, but she knows that in his drive to restore the elven people he will kill anyone-- even her. She intends to let him have the power, so long as she can pass the essence of her god-hood onto Morrigan, a gift Flemeth had always planned for her daughter yet one Morrigan misunderstood as hostile possession.

The part that really catches my eye is the end bit.

The implications of this, on Flemeth's motivation, her relationship with Morrigan, whether she's still alive or not, and the extent of her abilities.

My questions right now are:

How does this change/is it impacted if Morrigan has Keiran?

What does this mean if Morrigan drank from the well?

If Solas has Flemeth's power, does that mean he holds the leash to the one who drank the well or is it Morrigan?

What exactly does god-hood entail? Immortality or more than that? The ability to tell prophecies? The ancient elves weren't considered gods simply for being immortal. And if Solas took Flemeth's abilities what is the extent of that?

If they explore what exactly makes up god-hood in Thedas, what will this mean for the old gods? Since they aren't actually dragons will we get clarification on what they are? If they're considered gods?

What implications will this have on our understanding of god-hood in terms of the Maker?

It said Flemeth nurtured the wisp of Mythal, does that mean to the extent of being able to separate power from god-hood? Is that why she needed the old god soul?

Flemeth says in DAI that a "soul cannot be forced on the unwilling", does this mean that the energy Flemeth put in the eluvian was her god-hood? Is it being stored/kept safe for/wandering to find Morrigan?

How long has Flemeth known of Solas' plan? Did she calculate it because Mythal knew him so well?

Did Flemeth know where Solas was all along or did she only learn of him once he woke up/became active?

Did Flemeth know her death was inescapable? How?

Figured I would repost it this year in a less specific date way. Scroll if you don’t want to know! - I’m only tagging this as potential spoiler, as it only relates to the story in a meta way.

Total, the journey takes 189 days, 111 of those have entries (58.73%)

Bram’s longest on streak is 19 days - September 17th to October 6th

Bram’s longest off streak is 11 days - June 6th to June 16th

In the top three positions for length we have September 29th “An Eventful Day” - 9,034 words October 1st “The Attack” - 10,259 words October 3rd “A Day Full of Action” - 15,883 words

There are 160,720 words total, making an average of 1,448 words per entry, (though 22% of the total book is in the top 3 days)

Google says it takes around 5 minutes to read 1,000 words

October 31st has 420 words (yes really)

so!! i redrew every single enemy in the game. in the span of like 9 days (excluding the king i made him right after the last update). that’s abbbout 79* drawings total, with only 3 custom ones for once!! i’m so normal. as always, these are free to use with credit!! go nuts!! spritesheets are included <3

got some notes under the cut, along with As Many Enemies As I Could Fit without making this post obnoxiously long. and i failed. i had to swap between the app and browser several times and i still couldn’t fit every drawing. open this post at your own risk (silly).

okay so first of all. what’s with the asterisk. well. I Drew A Lot More Than 79 Assets Actually. they’re getting posted separately, because this post is ABSURDLY long. you can find most of them in the miscellaneous folder, but for a bit of clarity, i added the teleport map and a bunch of ui elements that reference sprites from the icon sheet. and also the game over and loop back animations but i haven’t finished the spritesheets for those because they’re a pain in the ass so they’re not in the drive yet

if you missed my complaining a few days ago, a few enemies might look a bit crunchy in the actual game? specifically, calamité and désespoir were drawn at the wrong size, because their images in the files do not match the spritesheets! i avoided the issue with most of the other enemies, those two just blindsided me. sorry about that!

^sadnesses having inconsistent designs was actually a running theme with these. détresse rock has an unused design in the files (which i managed to catch before having to redo it thankfully), anxiété has extra spikes that don’t appear on the spritesheet (sorry i was too lazy to fix that one), even the version of the friend rescue in the files doesn’t match any of the frames in the spritesheet. hfjfhfj. sorry about the quality issues.

tangentially related to that, massive thank you to @riggedbones for grabbing the individual frames for the animations for me!! they made my life so much easier. vs friends would’ve been so annoying…

speaking of the animations! hi can you tell i’m not an animator. these were my first time doing Anything animation related since, like, middle school. super sorry for the Jank in some of these! the friend rescue looked way better when i drew it 💔💔.

bourdon’s hands also might act a bit odd, my apologies. the sizing ingame is SUPER inconsistent (why is one of the hands SMALLER than the other????). once i’m able to actually test the mod, i’ll try to fix it wauaua.

the 3 custom sprites are for the triplets! i ended up making two versions for each, one that follows the ingame art, and one with my personal designs for them. i like my own designs for them, but they’re a lot easier to tell apart? so if you want to use the ones that fit the gimmick better, they’re also in the drive 👍

this update. was originally going to have way more custom art. i’ve actually got an act 6 siffrin enemy asset in my art program! but school started and i decided it’d be better to just get the normal stuff done. so the mod can actually come out in a reasonable timeframe. promise that’ll all come out Later! sorry about the wait 😓😓😓

also adding this because i almost forgot: no i don’t know if these are compatible with sasasaap. i don’t have the game still and it’s not my main priority atm, apologies!
