I was moved to do a Tarot reading for myself, so I asked the cards “What do I need to know about the path that I’m currently on? I drew six cards from The Witchling Academy Tarot: The 10 of Swords, the Queen of Cups, the Hierophant, the 3 of Pentacles, the 6 of Cups and the Sun. ⭐ When I look at these cards, they really form a journey of sorts. I’m ending a cycle of difficult mental strife, one where I’ve had to learn to let go of every thought that I’ve been carrying that’s been harmful to me. I’ve had to look deep within myself and really reflect on what I put out there into the world. I’ve also had to learn a lot about myself and what I’m capable of. ⭐ Going forwards, I have to remember that I will not be alone on this journey, that I will have others with me that will see me through all the trials that I will face on this path. I have to remember to not only give kindness to others, but to accept kindness from those around me. I have to accept the love that is given and not turn away from it. In the end, I will reach part of this journey that will bring light and joy to my life, with the sun shining brightly from within. ⭐ I know that the path that I’m on has brought some difficulties, but it has also given me lots to be joyful about and the knowledge that I’m growing, both spiritually and mentally. This morning, I asked the cards “How can I embrace my passions today?” I drew the Knight of Swords, the Knight of Wands and the 5 of Pentacles from The Witchling Academy Tarot. ⭐ When I look at the Knight of Swords, I’m being reminded that I already know what to do, I just have to charge past the parts of my mind that are telling me that I can’t. The mind is a tricky thing and sets up roadblocks along the way. I need to charge past them and write, even if my mind is telling me that what I’ve written is no good. ⭐ I also need to embrace the fire that resides within me. I need to find the joy that creating brings to me and celebrate the light that shines from me when I create. I am at my most joyful when I am writing of painting, so I need to embrace that. Charging past the walls the mind creates will bring light to my spirit as I continue on my path of creation. ⭐ Sometimes, it seems like I hit a wall and I’m not sure where to go or how to get there. Sometimes, the door in front of me seems as if it closed and I don’t know how to go forwards. However, oftentimes, it’s as simple as opening the door and heading down a path that I may not have thought of before. This morning, I asked the cards “How do I embrace the joy today?” I drew the King of Pentacles and The World from The Witchling Academy Tarot. When I look at these cards, I’m reminded that there is joy all around me. My life is full of abundance and I have but to look around at what I’ve created and what surrounds me. There is joy to be found in what I’ve created and the life I have. Joy is a mindset and I’m grounded enough to see that and appreciate that. I am at the end of one cycle and beginning a new phase in my life. I already have everything I need to embrace joy. My mind, body, spirit and emotions are harmonious and I am ready to let go of the old and embrace the new. This new cycle will bring me to new heights and I already have everything within me to begin this new journey.
