Okay so I might’ve gotten too silly

Something I've tried to teach my kids (still working on it) is that if they have some kind of chronic trouble, like regularly losing track of time, or forgetting commitments, it's okay and even advisable to rely on outside assistance. (As an example, reminders on a talking device [Echo, etc.], or setting up a new routine.) I guess, more than that, I want them to learn that it's okay, they're okay, they don't have to fix themselves, they just need to be on time (or whatever). And those aren't the same thing. Basically: Sometimes, really hard problems are roadblocks that can prevent you from focusing on your goal. To move forward, you have to go around. And you can do that! because you don't have to let your roadblocks stop your growth and define you.
