My boyfriend made an observation about the Timberborn icon so I modified this meme to show it.
ID:
Text: Nobody. Gay bears™ on Instagram.
Image: the faces of 20 white gay men, mostly heavy set, all with beards, a couple with baseball caps, and most with a particular smile. Second row first column has two men. Third column, third row is the Timberborn icon, a cartoon beaver face in a floppy brimmed hat and a leather harness. He has the exact same profile and smile as the gay men.
Sorry this is late - I was in Japan for a month and a half
Oshi No Ko
The series that easily stole the #1 spot this season.
It really stands out, I've never seen a story like this one and it really hits hard.
The episodes feel real and definitely show a side of the film/idol industry that a lot of people brush over. It's such a great concept and I'm thoroughly looking forward to future seasons.
10/10 - Masterpiece
Demon Slayer - Season 3
I really can't stress how next level Ufotable's animations are and you really get to see it in this season.
The story itself is also picking up the pace with my guess of 2 more seasons before the series is completed, it's such a great feeling to really experience the series moving forward and being able to get to know more of the key characters introduced in season 1.
A really killer season packed into a reasonable amount of time and episodes.
9.5/10 - Amazing
Hell's Paradise
I can't put my finger on exactly what it is, but this really didn't hit as hard as I thought it would. The manga was impeccable and I guess the anime just didn't live up to it.
I also felt that some of the animations were lackluster, which is surprising for MAPPA.
Maybe they're really starting to feel the weight of having to work on so many titles.
I'm hoping the next season feels better, the second half of the series is really where it picks up and is what makes everything worth it.
7.5/10 - Good+
Mashle
Honestly one of the best comedy series I've seen in a while, I kept thinking maybe it wouldn't hit as hard the next episode but it always did. Excellent Harry Potter memeage and overall comedy.
8/10 - Very Good
Dr. Stone S3
This took me a second to get back into but once I started watching, I really got into it, it's honestly such a good series. I feel like we're really headed toward the main story now and things are picking up the pace. Was a solid season for the story.
8/10 - Very Good
My Love Story with Yamada-kun at Lv999
I loved this series so much. It was a bit of a slowburn but so very wholesome. I think it reminded me a bit of a younger wotakoi if that makes sense. just realistic and cute, the last episode is 100% a killer payoff, very much like jdramas where it's not over the top and you're stoked about the tiniest thing. definitely a couple i support all the way.
8/10 - Very Good
Heavenly Delusion
This season did such a 180 for me. I loved the initial concept of post-apocalyptic survival vs the captive kids but man did it get uncomfortable fast. There were just way too many naked kids and borderline harassment scenarios that I felt super icky watching the show. It could've gone such a different direction without all that stuff and be amazing.. End of the day the series was novel and that stuff wasn't the whole show.
7/10 - Good
Gundam: Witch from Mercury Season 2 - Part 2
I was a huge fan of the first season, the story was solid, the characters were great and in general it was just a really good season.
I had a much harder time with this season, it felt way more political and felt a little more rushed than i'd like.
6.5/10 - Fine+
With the new season coming out this weekend I'll post this and add to it when I complete the following 2 shows:
The Dangers in My Heart
thank god i have realized that i can Post On Tumblr (make insane little personal posts whenever i want) since the last time i picked up paradise lost. the girlies in the gc were not very receptive to my screaming over milton's descriptions of satan and of hell but i know in my heart that the tumblrinas will come through for me
I can’t believe I haven’t done my Spring Anime review yet!! What happened to July!!!
1) My Love Story with Yamada-kun at Lv999
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️/5
AMAZING!!! I loved every minute of this show!! It made my laugh and smile like a fool. It is just SO SWEET!!! The animation was also beautiful!! LOVED this!!! definitely my favourite of the season!!!
2) Why Raeliana Ended Up at the Duke’s Mansion
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️/5
GREAT show! I really enjoyed the romance between our two leads, the characters were definitely the best part of this show. I loved both the main characters individually as well as liking them as a couple, and there was some amazing side characters (*cough* Noah *cough*) as well. My only criticism was the pacing, but the characters were good enough to overlook that.
3) The Ancient Magus’ Bride Season 2
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️/5
GOOD show! I really enjoyed this, I think they managed to capture the vibes from season 1 while still making it feel completely fresh and new in many ways with the new setting and characters. I love Chise’s character development and I’m excited to see where the plot goes next.
4) Dead Mount Death Play
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️/5
GOOD show! I really liked this show! Earlier in the season I actually would have given it 5 stars but it kinda stumbled at the end. I’m not even sure what my issue was with the last few episodes, maybe pacing, I dunno they just weren’t as amazing as the first 3/4 of the show. Still an amazing show though! I love the art and the characters!
5) Demon Slayer
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️/5
Eye candy. Need I say more? The animation is stunning!!! Demon Slayer always manages to crank out the most amazing fight animation!
6) Hell’s Paradise
⭐️⭐️⭐️/5
I really wanted to like this show more then I did. It’s gorgeous and has some really interesting characters and definitely made me cry ALOT but something about this show I just couldn’t get fully invested. I think it was a combination of the fact that there were so many different and interesting characters and they killed SO MANY of them so quickly that any time I got insterested in a characters story I was like oh now they are going to die. I get shock value and heart wrenching is what they were going for but it happened so often it became routine. Also, they built up all this mystery about the island and then info dumped everything in like 2 episodes 🫤it is still worth watching purely for the art though!
7) X&Y
⭐️⭐️/5
Ok this show disappointed me so much!!! I loved the first part, the mysterious vibes and the escape rooms with epic music and then I felt like they lost the plot part way through and never bothered to pick it up again. I kept watching hoping for a satisfying end, but they really fumbled this one.
8) Mashle
Dropped after episode 6
It was funny and made me laugh, but super repetitive and the characters were so one dimensional that I dropped it.
9) Summoned to Another World for a Second Time
Dropped after episode 7
This show had a cool premise and I kept watching it for awhile hoping that it would get better, but every episode just got worse. Dropped.
my two fave mangakas are suu morishita (a sign of affection, shortcake cake, like a butterfly) and akiko higashimura (Tokyo tarareba girls, princess jellyfish)

Ep.7
No disguises this episode, but that's ok because Stanley had enough disguises himself to cover a small UNCLE HQ. An absolute icon. He is my favourite innocent ever. He is the best agent UNCLE never had.
50/10
Ep.8
Belly dancer. Was she a terrible belly dancer? Yes. Was she supposed to be a terrible belly dancer? Actually, also yes. Tbf the ruse got her where she needed to be.
6/10
Ad-answering husband & wife. The newspaper lady was having absolutely none of it and it was pure chance that they bumped into Greta's friend.
3/10
Greta Wolf. The cult fell for it, so I can't fault it, really.
7/10
Old person. Who even walks around like this? Who thinks: "I will disguise myself as an old person, let me just cover myself with a sheet." My grandma would never.
1/10
Cult member. The sheet is back, because apparently that is what vaguely-middle-eastern clothing looks like. Sure. I want to point out that nobody else was dressed like this.
1/10
Ep.9
THRUSH goon. It's the shorts for me. Maybe it's the Brit in me, but any man in a pair of shorts looks like a little boy. Anyway, he got into the cave ok.
6/10
Ep.10
THRUSH radio operator. Such an effective disguise that they put her in charge of their entire radio communications. Too bad that starting a mutiny was more than a little conspicuous.
8/10
THRUSH diver. Such an effective disguise that they put him in charge of placing and mapping out underwater beacons. If it wasn't for that pesky mutiny...
When is the next chapter of Pandemonic Paradise ? 🥺
I'm so glad you like it, Anon!
Unfortunately, I have no idea when the next chapter of Pandemonic Paradise will be out. I've wound up in a writing slump lately, and haven't really made any progress on anything.
The next chapter is about half finished, at least, but I sadly can't make any promises as to when it will be out.
Thank you for your patience and your kind words! Have a good day! <3

Ticket to Paradise has a very brief shot showing a distant thunderstorm with some dim lightning in the cloud. A dance sequence with loud music has some very mild patterned lights.
A few scenes take place near clifftops. Two scenes use some mild shaking of the camera, including one involving a lot of drinking.
Flashing Lights: 1/10. Motion Sickness: 2/10.
TRIGGER WARNING: After drinking, and with obvious warning, a character rushes out of the scene, presumably to vomit, which we never see or hear.

The real estate market is booming. More and more home buyers from all socio-economic sections realize their dream of buying a dream home. While buying a property it is extremely important to be conscious of certain aspects of the investment/ buying process.
Curious about something you mentioned in your post last week, you said that in your opinion all drugs should be legal and I’m curious about how that would be a positive at all? Like I get weed bc it’s pretty harmless but when I think of drugs I think of cocaine and heroin, which have destroyed so many lives. If it was widely available wouldn’t that end up hurting more people than helping? That’s just my opinion but I’m curious on the other side
I do think all drugs should be legal. This is said knowing that addiction runs in my family and that the only reason my older sister is my *sister* is due to drug use and addiction. Otherwise she'd be my cousin.
Making drugs illegal does not stop people from getting high. It does not stop drug related crime. And it certainly does not stop drugs from tearing families apart.
Addiction is a symptom of a larger problem. Solve the problem and the addict problem goes away. Solve the addict problem and drugs stop ruining lives and destroying families and creating massive amounts of drug related violence. Places that have roled out decriminalization strategies effectively have seen an overall reduction in crime rates across the board, a reduction in recreational drug use, and a reduction in bloodborne illness like HIV. Creating safe needle exchanges as well as safe places to get high with medical staff onhand has also created a locale where very few people die from overdose.
Most people hear "decriminalize all drugs" and think I mean a free-for-all. I don't. I think the drug market should be regulated. I don't think you should be able to get ketamine or heroin over the counter at a walmart like you can get asprin. But I think it's time to stop putting people in jail for getting high.
My aunt tore her life and her family and her health apart for years while she was addicted to heroin. My sister, her daughter, needed to be removed from her care due to the amazingly bad choices she made as a mother due to her addiction and her prioritizing drugs over the health and safety of her daughter. My aunt has had multiple heart attacks from the damage the constant drug use did to her body.
My aunt is more than a decade sober and do you know why? It's not because she got a wakeup call when her daughter was taken away, because at the time she willingly and freely signed her over to my parents because that got her "out of [her] hair". It's not because she had a heart attack, because she went right back to it the moment she was out of the hospital. It's not even because she spent time in rehab and prison, because the moment she was out she was using again.
No, my aunt got sober because her life changed. She was put on a better pain management plan. She got out of her shitty marriage to her shitty husband. She completed some education to make her more hireable so she didn't have to rely on less than safe means of paying her bills. She reconnected with my sister and reforged their relationship once she was 18. She bought her own house. She found love with someone who didn't give a shit about her past and brought out the best in her.
My aunt was a deeply unhappy person. Heroin made life more tolerable for her. Until she couldn't tolerate life without it. Until she'd do anything, anything, to get her next high.
A lot of addicts are addicts because they are self-medicating for something else and their drug of choice has chemical properties that makes their brains crave it more. If you fix the "deeply unhappy" part, you create a healthier environment for that addict to take control over their life again. Without it, they are far more likely to continue to relapse.
Knowing this, why would I then want to add the threat of prison and jailtime- life-ruining things themselves- to an addict's list of concerns?
Look up rat park sometime. In the rat paradise, drugged water was freely offered, and occasional a rat here or there would take a hit or two, but rarely enough to even get high and almost never habitually. Addiction literally didn't exist even though the rats were taking addictive substances. But the rats in cages, seperated from each other, with no enrichment, crammed into small spaces and stressed to hell? Those rats took hit after hit after hit until they overdosed and died. The addict rats were deeply unhappy. The drugs were their only escape. The paradise rats had to be lured in with sweetened drugs to even consider and even then they rejected them. The caged rats did not need sweetner, even though the drugs made the water bitter.
If we can see such a stark difference in rats having their needs met vs rats experiencing isolation and stress, what would happen if we showed human addicts the same consideration?
I think a lot better results than continuing to jail deeply unhappy and desperate people for doing the only thing they can think of to cope.
