From Balfour to Israel: Unraveling the Complex History of Palestine
In the early 19th century this region was controlled by Ottoman Empire. During the Great War British took the charge of this place. In 1917, the British being a colonizer gave Balfour a declaration. The Balfour Declaration was a public statement issued by the British government in 1917 during the First World War announcing its support for the establishment of a “national home for the Jewish…

A Kremlin official says Russia sees efforts to end Ukraine war as a drawn-out process
Russia considers efforts to resolve its three-year conflict with Ukraine to be “a prolonged process,” Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov stated on Monday, following U.S. President Donald Trump’s growing frustration with both nations’ leaders as he pushes for a truce.
“We are actively working on implementing certain ideas regarding the Ukrainian settlement. This process is ongoing,” Peskov said during a press briefing.
“There are no concrete developments to announce at this time. It remains a lengthy process due to the complexity of the matter,” the Kremlin representative added when questioned about Trump’s reaction to Russian President Vladimir Putin’s remarks dismissing Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy’s authority to negotiate a deal.
Russia has effectively dismissed a U.S. proposal for an immediate 30-day ceasefire. The possibility of a limited truce in the Black Sea—an essential trade route for both nations' grain and cargo shipments—remains uncertain as Kremlin negotiators have set extensive conditions.

Political Hypocrisy
I find it absolutely appalling that countries like Ireland, Norway, and Spain are stepping out of line to recognise a Palestinian state. This move not only undermines the sovereignty and security of Israel, a democratic nation but also sets a dangerous precedent in international diplomacy.
Let's be clear: these countries are making a reckless and one-sided decision without considering the complex realities on the ground.
Tumblr media
Firstly, Ireland's stance is especially infuriating. It's ironic that a country which has its own complicated history with terrorism and political violence would support an entity that has been involved in acts of terror against innocent Israeli civilians. Ireland should be the last to throw stones when it comes to matters of national security and conflict resolution.
Norway's decision is equally baffling. As a country that prides itself on peace and diplomacy, they are now supporting a narrative that negates the legitimate concerns of Israel regarding its security. By recognising a Palestinian state unilaterally, Norway is effectively ignoring the fact that Hamas, a recognised terrorist organisation, holds significant power within the Palestinian territories. This is not just a matter of statehood, but of ensuring that any future state does not become a launching pad for further violence against Israel.
And then there's Spain, a country that has its own regional separatist movements. How hypocritical can they get? By recognising a Palestinian state, Spain is essentially endorsing unilateral declarations of independence. How would they feel if Catalonia or the Basque Country were given the same recognition by other nations? It's a double standard that reeks of political pandering and a complete disregard for the rule of law.
Moreover, these countries are ignoring the numerous peace initiatives that Israel has put forward, which have been repeatedly rejected by Palestinian leaders. They are turning a blind eye to the incitement and glorification of violence that is pervasive in Palestinian society. This isn't just about borders; it's about fostering a culture of peace and coexistence, something these nations are jeopardising with their premature and misguided recognition.
In essence, Ireland, Norway, and Spain are making a huge mistake. They are not only compromising the peace process but also aligning themselves with a narrative that refuses to acknowledge Israel's right to exist and defend itself. It's a slap in the face to every effort made towards achieving a just and lasting peace in the region. These countries should seriously reconsider their stance and recognise the full implications of their actions on both the Israeli and Palestinian peoples.

Marcos Jr. Commends Philippine Army's Success Fighting Terrorism
Tumblr media
The President's Visit to 1st Infantry Division
In a recent address to the troops, President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. expressed his admiration for the Philippine Army's 1st Infantry Division (1ID) and the joint task force combating terrorist organizations in the southern region of the Philippines. He lauded their consistent and excellent performance, praising their dedication and love for the Republic of the Philippines.
A Proud History of Service
President Marcos Jr. reminisced about his childhood days when he accompanied his father during camp tours, where the elder Marcos frequently visited the 1st Infantry Division, also known as the Army's Tabak Division. He emphasized the soldiers' significant role in the fight for peace in the Zamboanga Peninsula, urging them to take pride in their actions.
Transitioning from Warriors to Peacemakers
During his visit to the Kuta Major Cesar Sang-an in Labangan, Zamboanga del Sur, the President congratulated the soldiers for their remarkable work. He called on them to shift their focus from being warriors to becoming peacemakers, as the nation strives to achieve lasting peace. As the peace process advances, President Marcos Jr. expressed optimism about the development and progress that will follow in the region.   JTF ZamPeLan: A Diverse Task Force The Joint Task Force Zamboanga Peninsula and Lanao (JTF ZamPeLan) comprises the 1ID, Naval Task Group-ZamPeLan, and Tactical Operations Group 9. This task force operates across several provinces, including Zamboanga del Norte, Zamboanga Sibugay, Zamboanga del Sur, Lanao del Norte, Lanao del Sur, Misamis Occidental, and some parts of Misamis Oriental.   Addressing Various Threats JTF ZamPeLan confronts multiple threat groups, including the Communist Terrorist Group (CTG) and Daulah Islamiyah-Maute Group (DI-MG). Additionally, the task force plays a crucial role in monitoring the peace process with the Moro Islamic Liberation Front (MILF) and the Moro National Liberation Front (MNLF). With a combined combat force of approximately 5,000 personnel, JTF ZamPeLan tackles these challenges head-on.   Remarkable Achievements As of July this year, JTF ZamPeLan has accomplished several noteworthy achievements. Among them is the dismantling of six out of seven CTG guerilla fronts within its area of responsibility. The task force successfully recovered 48 enemy firearms and neutralized four high-value individuals during an encounter with the DI-MG in March 2022. Furthermore, the top leadership of DI-MG, Abu Zacharia, the Amir of DI-Philippines, and the overall Amir of the Islamic State-East Asia, was neutralized on June 14.   Towards an Insurgency-Free Zamboanga Peninsula With only one CTG guerilla front remaining, the Armed Forces of the Philippines (AFP) celebrates a strategic victory in the region. Their focus now shifts towards completely eliminating CTG influence to maintain Zamboanga Peninsula's insurgency-free status and support tourism and investment promotion efforts.   Addressing Challenges and Supporting Normalization Alongside the successful anti-terrorism efforts, JTF ZamPeLan faces other significant challenges. These include tackling the proliferation of loose firearms, containing private armed groups in preparation for the upcoming 2023 barangay and Sangguniang Kabataan elections, and actively supporting the normalization process. This involves the decommissioning of MILF combatants and the MNLF's transformation program activities. In conclusion, President Marcos Jr. praised the Philippine Army's 1st Infantry Division and the joint task force for their unwavering commitment to protecting the country and fighting against terrorist threats. As they shift their focus towards peace-making, the nation looks forward to a future of progress and development in the Zamboanga Peninsula.   Sources: THX News & PCO. Read the full article

Youth Radicalization in Mindanao is a Right to self-determination.
By Algazelus
Why is the war in Mindanao unending? There are so many reasons behind this, from the perspectives and points of view of minority groups and from the government side. First, the government started the Moro war in 1968, and second, the government continues to cover up crimes of impunity they are so guilty about. Therefore, as long as government denies responsibility in the warring itself, there can’t be any possibility of viably crafting solution measures for the people of Mindanao.
This article focuses on informing people about activities such as radicalization, where young people are at risk and influenced by this extremist group. An underlying question is: How do the environment and the involved group ask them to do such a thing? And how can this be addressed?

Global Greening Deserts Trillion Trees Initiative Climate Emergency, Peace Building and Species Rescue
Europe's and the world's first vertical farming startup for threatened or endangered tree species as well as important crops or plants develops further concepts for energy and resource-saving species conservation, climate and environmental protection. Botanical gardens, national parks, game and nature reserves are invited to join the global Greening Deserts Species Rescue CES-RPP, Greening Camps and the Trillion Trees Initiative and related projects. The emergency program and projects to save species, restore biodiversity and ecosystems need international support. The goal is to save more than 300 tree species from extinction by 2025 - for example through professional tree breeding, seed storage, distribution and joint tree planting activities. Some international species protection, climate protection, nature conservation and environmental protection organizations have already showed their interest. We are looking forward to new partners in the future to master one of the biggest tasks and challenges of the decade. Reducing species extinction by mitigating its causes and promoting global biodiversity is at the forefront, also in urban regions and cities! With the Urban Greening Camp, the Urban Greening Network for healthier and greener cities was launched - many have followed the good example. You can download the article here! Please share and support the projects for global peace process. #globalgreening #globalpeace #peacebuilding #peaceprogress
Tumblr media
Species extinction, climate change, environmental degradation from monocultures, forestry and agriculture are increasingly evident. Droughts and heat waves have made many impacts and causes clearly visible. The problems with old bad habits or systems such as excessive deforestation, draining, pollution, and destruction by agriculture or monocultures in rainforests or similar ecosystems rich in biodiversity and crops are complex. Yet solutions can be very simple - as explained in these and other articles. New techniques, technologies, products or services are not always necessary, but can of course accelerate and / or improve sustainable developments. Greening Deserts has over the years presented good solutions to many of these world problems - such as really effective developments and sustainable solutions to stop deforestation by monocultures. Diverse concepts for desert greening, tree planting campaigns, urban greening, vertical agriculture and innovative project developments like the Greenhouse Ship show great possibilities and potentials how to combine biodiversity conservation, ecosystem restoration, productive eco-agriculture and eco-forestry. Here are some ideas, methodical and sustainable thinking using the palm oil issue as an example. It are a few points from the concept paper for the Desert Forest project Palmforest.org.
Stop ALL new palm oil plantations in rainforests or similar ecosystems with rich biodiversity, fauna and flora.
Attempt to convert palm oil plantations to more environmentally friendly habitats with greater biodiversity. Alternatively, replace or relocate to areas with no or very low biodiversity.
Establish ecological agroforestry, mixed afforestation or reforestation with trees, shrubs, crops, herbs, fruit and vegetable plants.
Move oil palm plantations to man-made deserts, drylands, wastelands and desert-like areas; In these regions, there not much damage to the environment and soils possible.
Incorporate soil- and water-improving techniques such as sustainable drip irrigation through solar desalination systems.
Continuous improvement and research of agrophotovoltaics, agroforestry, cleantech and greentech in the greening camps.
Supporting various biodiversity, conservation, cultural, and scientific projects in each region, such as where the camps are beginning to restore or expand ecosystems.
Promote environmental awareness and more sustainable consumption, reducing overproduction and overconsumption, especially of products that harm the environment, people and wildlife.
It is unrealistic to reduce the demand for palm oil on a large scale in the next few years and palm oil boycotts or sanctions can be problematic, especially to solve the main problems or causes, many good solutions have been elaborated. The points are not firmly decided or fixed resolutions, but suggestions and of course can be added to or improved.
The world does not really need more food production, but a better sharing, distribution and preservation of food by cooling, drying, pulverizing and processing of food waste around the expiration date - for example with new infrastructures, logistics and startups for food waste preservation. Also local or regional cabinets and preservation machines or facilities in food retail outlets could be established – similar like Norway's deposit return scheme for plastic bottles or similar plastic recycling machines! Current food sharing solutions are already quite good, but there is a lack of holistic solutions that solve the global supply chains, logistics or transport systems in connection with food waste preservation and food waste at expiry. The problems or solutions already start with the causes like overproduction, transport over long distances and environmental destruction by intensive agriculture. See, for example, monocultures and livestock or factory farming, as well as the excessive waste of food in supermarkets instead of preserving it, storing it and distributing it to the needy. A suggestion would be cooling and drying machines for perishable goods such as fish, meat, vegetables and fruit to make them durable before expiration. There are old tried-and-true methods for this, such as pulverization, cookies and chips - there are already vegetable chips, so why not make them from food waste. Retail itself, new startups and jobs could benefit from this innovation of direct preservation of "food waste", just before or after the expiration date. The respective countries or EU and UN could even promote this and regulate it accordingly! It is really time to reduce the global famine of over 800 million people and hundreds of millions of children through better preservation and distribution systems - especially since the world produces food for well over 10 billion people! The suggested lack of food is hypocritical and a big lie. There is enough energy, food and water for everyone worldwide. The artificial limitation, commercialization and denial of these resources in certain countries or regions is systematic and violates ethical, moral and humanitarian principles, rules and laws - such as international Children's and Human Rights.
Climate and environmental protection, nature conservation and species protection are also important issues in the climate crisis. The human-induced impacts of climate and environmental change, such as desertification, global warming and other extreme weather events can be reduced through a more balanced climate or weather system. Glaciers, ice sheets and reflective snow layers play an important role in this - as do large grasslands, wetlands and global forests of course. All the trees and forests in urban areas are also important, as is the coastal greening, marine conservation at the coasts – so like the protection of the lakes, rivers, seas, oceans and other waters. The Greening Deserts and the Trillion Trees Initiative, actions, campaigns and projects moved many nations, organizations and people to plant millions or even billions of trees! Some countries have followed the advice and announced that they will plant one or even several billion trees in the next few years. There is evidence of the advice and recommendations that have been sent to various ambassadors, ministers, institutions and organizations. In some cases, it is easy to see that direct action was taken after being contacted and communicated. Some initiatives and projects even have prominent imitators.
Further important statements, facts and opinions on the topic of climate crisis, nature and environmental protection Human impact on climate, environmental, natural and weather systems is significant. The excessive disruption, destruction and pollution of natural environmental systems and life forms has made the world what it is today! Certain industries, institutions, organizations, people and other responsible parties that have destroyed ecosystems and important parts of the environment and polluted the planet are also partly responsible for the extinction of countless species and the destruction of the biosphere. They have caused not only an unstable atmosphere, but also more toxins, greenhouse gases and water vapor. People should be aware of these true facts, logical arguments and reality and care more, learn from them and do much better. It is never too late to change and improve the world together as humanity in a sustainable way. Negative actions and impacts can be prevented or reduced by nations together. Destroyers and polluters are thus prevented or even stopped from causing further pollution and environmental destruction. They should comply with laws, policies and global development goals on their own of course.   Climate change adaptation, disaster risk reduction, education, resilience and understanding of the true causes or circumstances should be a priority - as should the regular revision and updating of the global Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
Further opinions and statements:
For general understanding, many Change Games and Greening Deserts projects are environmental, educational, scientific, social and truly sustainable developments. Most of them were developed by the founder in his spare time. Many are or were non-commercial and private projects. The Greening Deserts and the Trillion Trees Initiative are still private initiatives and can be transformed into organizations or startups at any time.
Many conservationists, environmentalists, climate and nature activists want to protect species, some even the really important and endangered species. That is commendable and there could be many more of these activists. But it is much more important to save the really critically endangered species and protect them at the same time! Still hardly anyone understands how important species rescue is and how unimportant species protection of unimportant species is - at least in comparison and relation to the rapid species extinction of the truly threatened or critically endangered species. Every gardener is a species conservationist. What good does it do the biosphere, nature and mankind if we save the few species we hear about every day - such as the elephant, tiger, panda and co.. On the other hand, countless, much more important species are dying out every day, including many keystone species on which many other species depend. Unfortunately, there is also a lack of awareness and understanding of the biosphere in terms of biomass and species diversity. All life forms in organic soils, grasslands, wetlands, and global forests, as well as water bodies, which even significantly regulate climate and weather systems, are the main component of the biosphere!
If humans really want to prevent species extinction, they must maintain healthy ecosystems and restore important habitats and landscapes, especially wetlands and real forests. This will allow the atmosphere, biosphere and all parts of nature to recover, naturally regenerate and better self-regulate. The connection between species recovery, species protection, climate protection, environmental protection and biodiversity, biosphere and ecosystem services is often not seen accurately. To this day, many people do not realize that climate protection is also species protection and thus contributes significantly to the preservation of the biosphere - because the biosphere consists of species, i.e. biomass. One of the best ways to protect and save species is to preserve the important habitats of these species and to restore ecosystems through greening, reforestation and species protection camps or similar projects on a global scale. The founder and initiator of Greening Deserts has explained these important issues in several articles and offered innovative solutions with global initiatives or international projects such as the Trillion Trees Initiative.
Another important issue is the lack of Disaster Risk Reduction (DRR) on so many levels. One example is flood protection through nature-based solutions. It is logical that, for example, after drought years, dry and water-repellent soils make erosion and flooding even more extreme. Another problem is the lack of trees and wetlands that have been destroyed. The problem in Germany is and has been the lack of disaster preparedness and management for extreme weather events such as droughts and floods, DRR should be an established system worldwide. Urban flood protection through additional water reservoirs, waterways and underground reservoirs can also help reduce these risks - similar to the concept of sponge cities. Another problem is the lack of trees and wetlands, which have been destroyed primarily by extreme drainage for agriculture and strip mines. Many important ecosystems such as wetlands have been destroyed as a result, including wet forests, marshes, swamps, and floodplains. Facts and scientific advice on how to protect against land degradation, erosion and prevent flooding through disaster preparedness, nature-based solutions and sustainable water management can be found on the Greening Deserts project pages.
Many people from the climate movement, in governments, and even parts of industry have followed and been inspired by Greening Deserts' articles and projects - especially the articles, master theses and projects. On the topic of soil improvement and the global greening, a lot of experiences have been gained and many experts have been exchanged about meaningful actions. Since 2017, Greening Deserts recommends desert greening with hemp, desert bamboo and thistles, which loosen the soil to great depths as well as improve the soil overall. Appropriate ground covers or special grasses also protect new tree plantings from drying out. Green manure plants such as special field beans and hemp can quickly build humus-rich topsoil. This even works in drylands and wastelands! Read more in Greening Deserts articles "Hemp toilet paper can reduce deforestation, climate change and global warming" and "Hemp cultivation in open-cast mines for sustainable soil improvement and organic farming with hemp".
Climate, nature and environmental protection is also species protection – thus it is human protection.
All suffering is caused by ignorance. People inflict pain on others when they selfishly seek their own happiness or satisfaction.
Love and compassion are the foundations for world peace - at all levels.
The way to change others' minds is with affection, not anger.
Peace does not mean an absence of conflicts; differences will always be there. Peace means solving these differences through peaceful means; through dialogue, education, knowledge; and through humane ways. - Dalai Lama
Greening Deserts projects have inspired and moved many millions of people to do something for their environment and others who need greener and healthier habitats.
Greening Camps can reduce deforestation, land degradation, desertification and global warming by global greening, conservation as well as promotion of biodiversity, ecosystem restoration and ecological reforestation!
Human ignorance will kill us and all life forms on planet Earth. The only way to prevent this dilemma is more awareness, education, environmental consciousness, respect and tolerance or even understanding.
Keep calm, don't fear, avoid anger, hate and fears. Share peace actions instead. Sharing is caring, share peace and care each other please. Stay kind and peaceful. Unite for the global greening and peace process. This is the only way to prevent a world war.
Mankind does not need to travel to the desert planet Mars, if desertification continues at the current rate, we will have a desert planet Earth in 100 years!

Climate Emergency and international call for more peacebuilding actions, climate adaptation and disaster risk reduction in Europe 2022
Urgent letter and article about climate change adaptation, civil protection, disaster preparedness, disaster risk reduction (DRR), environmental and mental health, freedom, fundamental and Human Rights!
Authorities, governments, local communities and people should be more concerned about saving rain, fresh or potable water for worst-case scenarios, such as extreme heat and drought. We have had a creeping or silent drought in Europe since March. If droughts continue and heat waves come, it can be a really serious worst-case scenario, especially a huge problem for health, mental health, and water security. Many cities do not realize the severity of the situation. After several inspections and inquiries, we have found that many urban areas are not well enough prepared. We scientists recommend speeding up preparations and hoping for the best that the summer will not be too dry or too hot. Contact your local authorities and the experts at the @GreeningDeserts-Networks and Trillion Trees Initiative for Europe, Africa, India and MENA region. If you need more information or advice on any of the above questions and issues.
The founder worked out an special fire and water protection project called Brandschutzkanister or Brandschutz-Kanister. It are water canisters you can use to reduce fire risks at home, work or even outside at risky locations. Means if there are corners or places very dry you can place the water canisters above and below, so in case of fires you will have fast water and if enough canisters are placed it if enough canisters are well placed, the fire may even extinguish itself. In German it is called Selbstauslöschung or Selbstlöschung. The good thing, you can use the canisters as chair, so the founder had the idea to develop the fire protection canister as nice product in future. If you want support the project development and help to push and share the development, the sustainable production and sharing in your community feel free to contact @greening deserts.com and @ greeningcamp.com! Have courage for real solidarity with all the endangered or threatened people who life in affected regions who are affected by the ongoing drought and upcoming heat. You can read much in the latest article „Drought in Germany and Europe severely affects monoculture forestry, industrial agriculture and population.“
It follows the urgent letter who was sent to thousands of international experts, hundreds of institutions and even organizations of EU and UN! These certain people should stop being silent or profiling. It costs us all important time that we do not have when it comes to the worst-case scenarios. Above all, politicians should get their act together now and work more with the public on disaster preparedness and other important measures. Above all, stop disrupting Greening Deserts projects, social work, developments and developers! You are only endangering and harming the people, the nation and yourselves in the end! It is simply embarrassing and a disgrace. Rather help build the Vertical Farming Startup and Urban Greening Camp so that we can save many of the endangered species (including humans). For this we are in an object where we could store countless canisters and other important things like the seat canisters. Watch some pictures below, more photos will be published if..
Climate Emergency and call for more international peacebuilding actions and peace speech to accelerate the peace process
Hello friends of humanity and nature,
This is a short info-email with some important advises. Don't ignore and misunderstand, it are useful information for us all.
Please support and share the urgent call, article and letter if you can. It depends also on you and affects us all - especially the poor or weak victims of the world who need more solidarity, too.
Always remember, over 800 million suffering by hunger and if so much parts of the world or media, people, societies only care or report so much about Ukraine.. and so less about other important issues - it's not proportionate! Many more will suffer, poor nations and people will feel forgotten. It's sad that so many ignore our advises and concerns or even block, disturb and harm the important humanitarian and peace work or projects. Seems that several people and interest groups don't really want true peace.
Read more on Greening Deserts project pages and social pages, such as how to sustainably and realistically reduce the risk of further crises, especially the increasing risk of a global food and world war crisis. The media, especially the news and mass media, have a big responsibility in this and many other important aspects - especially in relation to ethical and moral principles, international guidelines and laws. They must also pay attention to the effects, side effects, and consequences of their broadcasts and programs - especially taking more responsibility in avoiding too much fear, violence, and horror. All these media must take care of the mental or psychological health of their consumers and viewers and prevent harm, this should finally be regulated by law. It is not the problem of news reporting about war and all the relations and problems like propagandizing the war - no matter which side. The risks of to much hasty, risky and wrong actions can cause more conflicts, death, suffering and expand the war like we see since the early days. Certain media pushes these problematic actions of all the responsible actors or parties. Many international intellectuals warn of a third world war by being too aggressive and supplying too many weapons, especially heavy assault weapons. Many nations, serious organizations and institutions have concerns about the developments.
Greening Deserts is distancing from any unnecessary rearmament and critical weapon delivery who makes things much worse. The opinion and advise is very easy, do more for real defense, passive and strategic tactics with more armor, intelligent moving, shields And it makes more sense in general and in the long run to do for real peace-building instead of risky weapon deliveries who makes things worse. Greening Deserts community and founder condemns the war of aggression, any destruction of the environment and life is bad! Some media misunderstanding the true facts and real reality - it is serious and important to prevent the high world war risks by doing much more for more peace-building!
Support Greening Deserts, Trillion Trees Initiative and connected projects on global and social networks - especially our humanitarian, peace-building and species rescue initiative.
Concerns, opinions and statements of the founder of the Greening Deserts Trillion Trees Initiative on the current situation:
Since February, Greening Deserts have been calling for more health issues like mental health support, more peace speech(es), peace speech(es) and solidarity in all media - especially in advertising, mainstream and social media. Unfortunately, one can see that countless actions and demonstrations have not done much to maintain or restore peace - important aspects and awareness of certain backgrounds and causes are missing. The situation is getting worse and worse, as many of the problematic factors and multiplications, such as unnecessary provocations and sanctions, have driven the escalation spiral by many contributors. The media's complicity and responsibility plays a crucial role. Unfortunately, not much has happened in this regard to date 15-03-2022. This can be seen just by the hashtags like #UkraineRussiaWar and many similar problematic escalations, sanctions, pushing military armament or warmongering actions in various media. Certain interest groups, manipulated media, people and parties or politicians have even further escalated and worsened the situation - this is like poured oil on the fire. They have no foresight and consideration for the peoples of the world and people who will suffer considerably or even die under the said actions and sanctions - and perhaps have already died! This deadly boomerang effect is significantly underestimated as with the Corona(virus) or COVID-19 pandemic! It is once again the typical symptom fighting instead of root cause solutions and crisis prevention through sensible de-escalation diplomacy or language or real peace speech, disaster and conflict risk minimization, forward thinking action as well as sustainable foresight in so many essential areas - especially in ethical, humanitarian and social relation. We need more effective peace actions, peace speeches on all levels and less war speech or propagation of war in the digital or media space! By many of the hasty actions, provocations and escalations certainly many people have fallen ill and additionally died! Besides, the risk of a world war has increased enormously. If the world war and with it the nuclear war breaks out, this will be probably the last one!
More Important advises, comments, opinions and statements of Greening Deserts projects on social pages:
Children's Rights and Women's Rights are also Human Rights. Access to a healthy environment, declared a human right.

The main problem in the world is the advancement or proliferation of war talk, issues and actions in digital, mental and real life. By so many thinking, talking or even acting too war-oriented and less peace-oriented the reality is also determined by it and war risks naturally increase - it is never the fault of one person or group alone. When talking about war, peace should not be forgotten! #peace education #peace speech #peace media?
A major problem in the world is too much war language, military propaganda in digital, mental and even real life. Too much war media and talk about war can lead to or fuel more conflict and war! Do you support #PeaceWork #PeaceSpeech #PeaceMedia?
Media that reports so much about war should also show alternatives and real sustainable peace solutions. All this hasty and violent media we have seen since February is not good for peace building and mental health - especially for the old, poor and vulnerable. This media is damaging the health of many people and should finally take responsibility. #ChildrensRights #MentalHealth #PeaceBuilding #PeaceSpeech
The parties and leaders of some European countries do not understand the seriousness of the situation and the coming consequences, as do many news media. First and foremost, emergency prevention, mental health and disaster risk reduction #DRR should be promoted more every day now - on all levels and especially in the media, news and talk shows! - 10-03-2022
There were several attacks on our pages and people, some help would be great - especially because of several Human Rights violations. To much violence and violent media is a major problem in these times.
It is sad that sharp criticism, inconvenient truth, logical opinions and charitable or humanitarian work isn't allowed on certain 'social networks' - we monitored and recorded many violations and dubious practices of censorship, shadow banning,.. and x-violations of social networks. With combinatorics, logic and reverse engineering you can proof a lot. The attacking, blocking, censorship or oppression of climate and species protectors, environmentalists, Human Rights and Children's Rights must be reduced and have consequences - no matter how big or famous companies or people are. Who protects the defenders and protectors?
Many questions to answer and problems to solve, we know it's not easy but it is possible if United Nations finally take it more serious.
Always remember, poverty reduction is no longer possible today without fighting corruption, or only with great difficulty - same for other global issues. It is now up to you as well. Please share and forward if possible. Every action counts in this regard. The call has been sent to thousands of institutions and organizations with some updates.
With best regards, your friend of nature. We -mankind- have not much time left to prevent the worst.
Constructive feedback and support is always welcome. Read more on Greening Deserts project pages.

Hamas agrees to Egyptian ceasefire proposal, Israel counters
Hamas has accepted a new Egyptian-brokered proposal to release five hostages, including American-Israeli Edan Alexander, in exchange for a renewed ceasefire, a Hamas source.
In a televised address on Saturday, Hamas leader Khalil Al-Hayya stated that the group had engaged “positively” with the draft agreement from Egyptian mediators and agreed to its terms.
According to the Hamas source, the deal includes the release of five hostages and the reinstatement of phase 1 ceasefire conditions, which would allow humanitarian aid to enter. Additionally, Hamas expects discussions to continue regarding the second phase of the ceasefire.

One of the positives from having the kids home so much is getting the chance to teach them more thoroughly the history of their people This way they understand when a great man like John Hume passes why we should light a candle in his honor in the hopes our prayers of gratitude are carried to heaven by the flame Born: 18 January 1937, Derry, Ireland Died: 3 August 2020 #irish #ireland #irishcatholic #johnhume #derry #IRA #sinnfein #peaceprocess #SDLP #irishmom #momlife #rip #restinpeace #prayer #gratitude #northofireland https://www.instagram.com/p/CDgZ9HOAXti/?igshid=wzteed4jva6e

Building Stronger Ties and Helping in the DRC: UK's Commitment
Tumblr media
  Strengthening Partnerships for Progress
The Power of Collaboration We’re here to see for ourselves the reality on the ground; to listen and learn, and to understand how the UK can best support. Don’t hesitate to talk to us and tell us what we need to know! I promise to visit Goma and the east of the country regularly. As you know, the UK has had a permanent presence here in Goma since 2006, fostering stronger connections with our partners in the region.
Recognizing the Importance of Collaboration
Achieving Together First of all, we need to be very clear about the fact that, these days, nothing worthwhile is done alone. Everything we achieve, we do with the support, partnership, and friendship of others. Whether you are here tonight as MONUSCO, UN agencies, the international community, civil society, implementing partners, Congolese authorities, businesses, or others, you are all here because you are our friends. Secondly, it’s about remembering why we’re here tonight. We are celebrating the many, rich and diverse ties that unite our two countries and our two peoples.   Strengthening Cultural and Educational Exchanges These ties go all the way back to the very top of the state - indeed, His Excellency President Tshisekedi was one of the very first heads of state to be received by His Majesty King Charles III last year. This meeting reflects our shared interest in climate and conservation leadership. Our ties go back a long way and extend far beyond our leaders. Wherever I am in the DRC, I discover new links with the UK - I hear there’s a British bishop in Goma!   Showcasing Inspiring Examples The same is true in the UK, where I am discovering Congolese communities everywhere, offering Congolese food, and working in finance or research. As a proud Scot, I must highlight the inspiring example of Dr. Deborah Kayembe, who was born here and appointed Vice-Chancellor of the University of Edinburgh, the first African woman to be elected to this ancient and prestigious post.
Enhancing Collaborations in Various Fields
Exploring New Avenues of Cooperation I look forward to seeing how we can strengthen our links in the fields of culture, education, health, energy, climate, and many others. The third part is the most serious. Although tonight is a happy occasion, I must acknowledge the serious security and humanitarian challenges facing so many people here.   Commitment to Humanitarian Assistance I am proud of the support we continue to provide, including the new $26 million humanitarian aid program we announced for the DRC this year. We welcome the recent decision by the United Nations to step up its response to the humanitarian crisis in the East. It is essential that our two countries do everything in their power to support its implementation, in particular by granting humanitarian access.   Emphasizing the Importance of Peace Processes But we are also aware that the humanitarian response, however necessary and vital, is not the solution. Rather, the solution lies in the painstaking and exhausting work of peace processes and peace-building. If it were easy, it would already be done.   Collaborating for Peace and Stability Today, of course, many are working with the facilitator, President Kenyatta, to give new impetus to these efforts. I want to make it clear that the UK is a friend of the DRC, that we fully respect the sovereignty and territorial integrity of the DRC, and that we condemn all aggression and violations. We fully support the Luanda and Nairobi processes, we recognize and appreciate the essential role of MONUSCO and the UN family here, as well as humanitarian actors and civil society, that we give priority to the protection of civilians, including against acts of sexual violence, and that we are doing and will continue to do everything in our power to support peace and stability.
Unlocking the Potential of the DRC
Harnessing the Power of the Congolese People The potential of this great country is immense. Already, every day, I see the spirit of innovation, determination, and enterprise of the people of the DRC. Last night, at a dinner in Kinshasa with business leaders, we learned that businesses in Goma are among the most profitable in the DRC - an impressive testament to will, capacity, and opportunity.   Balancing Challenges and Opportunities Here in the East, the promise and the peril are both very clear. The risks and consequences of unwise, short-sighted, or selfish decisions are borne immediately and terribly by innocent civilians. On the other hand, judicious decisions, strategic patience, and determined peace-making can unleash the promise. Millions of young Congolese men and women deserve their rights to dignity, respect, security, and stability. If they have them, there is no limit to what they can achieve. Gratitude and Hope Thank you. Asante sana.   Sources: THX News & Foreign Commonwealth & Development Office. Read the full article
