So with the Percy Jackson series releasing new episodes every Tuesday, I’ve made it a personal goal of mine to eat/drink something blue for the release day.

ONLY PROBLEM WITH THIS IS THAT MY SHIT HAS TURNED BLUE. MY INSIDES ARE BLUE. I EAT/DRINK BLUE AND MY INSIDES WILL TURN BLUE FOR DAYS.

The thing that makes me so happy is the fact that those of us who grew up with the Percy Jackson books are now old enough to really enjoy the show and understand the changes. The twelve year old in me heals every-time I watch videos of people preparing trays of blue cookies and setting up blue candy bowls for a watch party. The fact that the show is not a word for word adaptation but rather has nuances that we as adults can pick up on while also being simple enough for the actual twelve year olds watching is testament to the genius of Rick Riordan and his fan service. Anyways I just love how every social media I use is full of PJo stuff, happy healing you guys. Let’s celebrate every week with those dam cookies!💙🐬

i plan to watch pjo with my friend tomorrow (he has been sick and we agreed to watch it together) and the deal was he brings some sort of blue beverage and i will make blue cookies, well i made the cookies but they aren't very blue because there has been no blue dye in the stores and the only thing i could find in literally like all 6 or so stores nearby was blue food gel and i used all of it for nine cookies and it still doesn't look blue but he already bought the juice so he is bring blue juice and i made semi blue cookies and i feel so bad like the absolute worse cause he just spent money on juice and i couldn't even make blue cookies and i just wanted to know if my emotional meltdown right now is valid and i should feel bad or if this is me being irrational cause most times i can tell myself yeah i am being irrational right now like i shouldn't feel bad but this time i can't seem to talk my self out of it and i feel i should feel bad but idk

I really hope these turn out blue. Last time I tried this they just turned grey. But I changed the food coloring I used so I’m more hopeful.

Either way, I figured I had to try this again for Percy’s birthday. Even if it fails, I’ll have a bunch of delicious cookies.
