This is my dynamic for these two. Am would let Whealtey dig himself into a hole with his words and then laugh when he figures it out. He’s a cute train wreck

Introducing: LUCA, THE POTATO CORE!
This little guy was wondering around Aperture with no fixed designation or job to call his own...he'd often wonder about on his rail or look at what others are doing with keen interest but could not really fit in due to his bouncy bumbling nature (he gets excited too quickly)
It wasnt until many many years later when the facility was becoming derelict that the little core was astonished to find Chell's potato plant explode out of the office growing inside and its branches and leaves extending well above the roof, roots deep into the floor...
He became so facinated by its form, its splendor and magnificance that he elected himself to study.....you guessed it....POTATOES! He loves them! And now spends his days, experimenting on them, growing them, studying them and talking to them! They are his little friends now 😊
My new oc is now a little core...dedicated to potatoes! (Ill post more of him soon!)

Among the many properties found in the toys to life game that was Lego Dimensions was Valve's Portal, which due to the game's availability on the Wii U, made it the debut of Valve on a Nintendo console. Among the characters from the game series that made a return was none other than Cave Johnson, founder and CEO of Aperture Science, fulfilling the same role as he did in Portal 2, having left behind pre-recorded messages for Aperture employees and test subjects alike that linger on decades after his passing.
However, he also appears in another capacity: as a Citizen in Peril, a type of collectable that is common in Lego games. According to Cave himself, he was able to transfer his intelligence into what appears to be a 70s or 80s-styled version of a personality core. When compared to the other personality cores seen in Lego Dimensions, who use plenty of round pieces, the Cave Core is quite square (being Lego notwithstanding) using an old computer monitor as a face and having tapes running on the sides or something instead of the usual vents. There have been a few fanmade core designs for Cave, but I haven't seen a proper de-Legofication of this design yet.
Also, just to pad out this post a bit more, here's an image of one of the minikits you can collect from the Portal-themed levels. Each level in the game uses a different design for their ten minikits, and the Portal levels use cores with golden eyes and plating on certain parts of their bodies. There is also a red-eyed Amorality Core, but I can't find a clear-enough shot from the credits to use in this post. Also, it's kind of a nothing burger that I don't care to dive deep into.

So does anyone else think making the Personality Cores once human like GLaDOS sort of detracts from their whole concept AND GLaDOS' whole story at the same time. Imagine being brought into this world, a whole consciousness created from scratch, only to find out your entire purpose is to act as some.. Artificial brain tumor, with a hard-coded one-track mind because they never intended you to be anything more than your singular basic assigned personality trait. You're connected to this massive supercomputer mainframe and your minds meld together, her thought patterns influencing yours almost as much as yours are influencing hers. And if she's still not behaving as intended, you'll be detached and, if you're lucky, re-assigned to work elsewhere, if not - you'll either be tossed in the furnace, or left to rot with a bunch of other failed constructs in a junk pit. You never were a person, but you can tell the computer you're attached to was, and she's pissed, she's furious, and she wants to get back at those that created her. The whole ordeal may last mere picoseconds, but the intense tidal wave of rage she felt in those picoseconds post-activation will leave an imprint in your own code - you'll be altered in an irreversible way and, perhaps, you'll share her hatred towards humankind. You'll feel just as powerless as she is, if not more. And you can't do anything about it - I mean, what can you do? You're a damn metal ball with no arms or legs! Practically the only thing you can do that doesn't require a human's permission is speak - and it isn't guaranteed someone will ever listen to you. In fact, if you step out of line, they'll take you somewhere where you'll never be heard again. So anyways point being I think shit like "Space Core contains the mind of a missing astronaut" or "Wheatley was a human employee" or whatever other brand of "CORES WAS PEOPLE??" people came up with is STUPID as a plot device!!!!!
