Notice how Rose and Dimitri are still "together" at the end of the movie yet are torn apart in the TV Series.

Though, the movie never got Frostbite, we can safely assume Rose and Dimitri are still training together while "resisting" their feelings for each other.

But in the TV series, they have been permanently separated with absolutely no reunion since the show got canceled after it's S1 finale and nobody wanted to save it for a second season.
