Why Bucky's Personality Type Is ISFP:
Tumblr media
I have to start this by saying there is a person out there who has made like articles concerning numerous MCU characters' MBTIs, but the only 2 she got right are Steve and Tony, which everybody knows they're ISFJ and ENTP respectively, so, not exactly impressive, on the so-called other hand, she says that Bucky is "ESTP", while Scott is supposedly Bucky's actual personality type even though the latter is quite extroverted, but I tried to explain this to no real avail, leading me to feel it necessary to make this entry about Bucky's Myers-Briggs which I realise a number of individuals have it correct, but regardless, it's important to me to properly explain in my own words just everything that makes Bucky the personality type that he is, so here I go...
Tumblr media
Point 1: Bucky is introverted.
The fact Bucky became a sniper for the Howling Commandos in Captain America The First Avenger is a good indicator of this fact, as certainly it's a rather singular position, but of course there are other examples, such as at the Stark Expo, where, instead of mingling with the crowd, Bucky kept to his small group of him, Steve, and ostensibly their dates ('though, we all know that was an excuse for Bucky to spend more time with Steve), in fact, Bucky is so introverted that he even talks to himself (much to the amusement of the woman he's supposedly dating) when observing the initial reveal of Howard's ultimately failed vibranium hovercar, and later, after Steve rescues Bucky from that initial Hydra laboratory, instead of Bucky going and accounting his ordeal to the rest of his infantry or otherwise like handling that in a social way, he goes off to drink by himself until Steve goes and talks to him (which, naturally, Bucky welcomes anyway), yet Bucky is very good at addressing crowds and being a leader, however, obviously so is Steve, who is also a known introvert, and the thing about that is these circumstances are very contextual, where Bucky is either talking to people he knows and is comfortable with, or where it isn't such a large crowd, that flip being shown many years later during the 3rd episode of The Falcon and the Winter Soldier: "Power Broker", when Bucky is at Sharon's party to showcase her stolen artwork; Bucky is the only person who isn't blatantly mingling/dancing with the rest of the guests, being very much the "wallflower" expected of someone so introverted as Bucky, and when Sam and Zemo are comparing Madripoor to New York (of course the city not the state) due to its party life, Bucky takes offense because they're obviously just stereotypically referring to Manhattan, but Brooklyn has a laid back, uncrowded vibe, which is a big reason Bucky has always felt more comfortable there, and it continues to The New Avengers (Thunderbolts*), where Bucky, as congressman Gary put it, goes "all rogue in the darkness" instead of texting "like a normal person" (which he must not really know Bucky if he assumes he'd ever do anything the "normal" way), and I know that maybe isn't a blatant indicator considering context, but it does show how Bucky prefers the 1-on-1 range of discussion as opposed to doing things that are secretive overall yet seemingly public , which of course that's also observable in how he talks to Mel, and so yeah, there are a lot of examples of the fact Bucky is introverted, but these are what I think work for this entry.
Tumblr media
Point 2: Bucky is sensing.
Although Bucky leans toward intuitiveness at times (the way Sebastian and I actually have), particularly in his understanding that people have souls and can still be around in a way even when they've passed away, well as how Bucky considers inanimate objects as family (such as the shield and his dog tags), he tends to take things at like face value overal; when he initially confronts Steve near the start of Captain America Civil War, Bucky states: "I read about you in a museum", said "museum" being the most famous not art related there is, but even if Bucky wasn't aware of that at the time, he may still have worded things similarly, and in particular this scene shows how Bucky doesn't rely on his intuition of remembering Steve but how Bucky knows who Steve is based on external information, and down the line, when Bucky "meets" Flag Smasher in the 2nd episode of The Falcon and the Winter Soldier: "Star Spangled Man", he doesn't realise something is up with her 'til it's too late and she punches him into the next vehicle in that convoy, but an ongoing indicator of Bucky's sensing range is how he's been blaming himself for what Hydra's Winter Soldier did (Bucky's soul not having been present in those times and therefore Bucky not being part of it), even though Bucky knows inside how it wasn't his fault and he would never do anything like that, he still struggles coming to terms with the fact, partly due to Bucky remembering what happened in such a way that he literally feels like it was him, even though like I said, that couldn't be true, and is merely the result of Bucky's memories being manipulated, so anyway, like I said, Bucky is less sensing than he is introverted, but these are like decent examples of how that fits for him too.
Tumblr media
Point 3: Bucky is feeling.
This is easily what people misconstrue the most about Bucky because Bucky is so sensitive that he'll downplay how things affect him so it isn't too much, but every decision Bucky makes is from the like standpoint of his needing to help others, such as in The New Avengers (Thunderbolts*) when Bucky learns from Mel that Sentry Project is a real thing, and even though Bucky was having a hard time really listening to a good portion of what would ultimately become the rest of his team due to his stubborness that's been like amplified since he became neurodivergent, and the fact Bucky didn't yet trust them, as soon as he had that information from someone Bucky had been considering a reliable source, he let them go and recruited them because otherwise, in Bucky's words: "...anybody could get hurt..."; that is and has always been Bucky's driving motivation, among many other examples it's the reason Bucky began protecting Steve, how come Bucky practically sacrificed himself for his infantry, why Bucky never gave in to Hydra's initial brainwashing attempts (and, somewhat ironically, another reason Bucky has continued to blame himself), even though in some ways that could've been easier, and believe it or not, while Bucky tends to be rather... ...direct, he actually holds back when fighting anybody who isn't straight up evil, or can just handle his overall strength, owing to how crucial it is for Bucky to not hurt people, and while Bucky doesn't so-called wear his heart on his sleeve, he is the most emotional person, showing his feelings in every way except talking about them, for the most part (this being just for those Bucky has come to consider part of his family, like), and others don't notice it, which is so weird to me, because I know I'm an empath and particularly that I see Bucky in a way maybe nobody else can truly understand, but I mean... Bucky is so expressive, and how people can basically ignore that, since Bucky isn't generally the outwardly sensitive type, is straight up confusing to me, but like I said, I can feel how Bucky feels and how blatant that is, and Bucky being feeling is probably the main part that makes Bucky, Bucky.
Tumblr media
Point 4: Bucky is perceiving.
Okay, so 1 reason Bucky fell from the train (even though I need to say how it has ultimately very much worked out, of course Bucky survived and is doing way better) is that during the initial climax of Captain America The First Avenger (technically there are 2, 3 if count Steve dealing with modern times, just like there are numerous openings, obviously including when Bucky is introduced, which far as I'm concerned, is the time said film really begins), when Bucky was fighting Hydra agents, he literally overstepped and fell as the outer railing gave way (which of course this also was around when Bucky lost his left arm); Bucky is very much a leap prior to looking sort of individual, and like I said, he's always been like that, I mean...sometimes it's almost as though Bucky doesn't know the meaning of the word judging because even though he can judge and has, Bucky never really accounts for things like that but tends to be relatively accepting of whatever's happening/how people are (depending, and I know judging isn't necessarily about being overly critical/judgemental, but yeah), is very in the moment, and rarely plans ahead; this is also observed during The New Avengers (Thunderbolts*), when Bucky just drives straight into the lobby of the Avengers Tower instead of having an already thought out plan he'd be ready to utilise (and even if Alexei mistakes that for an actual plan), so yeah, Bucky just goes for it; he's tremendously action oriented, but even when Bucky isn't moving around a lot, he still just goes with the flow, so to say, which is no better evidenced than when Bucky was living in Wakanda, as recounted by Bucky when things were initially getting set up for battle during Avengers Infinity War; Bucky spent his days prior milking goats, growing/harvesting crops, and just generally living a peaceful life that others could benefit from too (which can fit into the category of Bucky being feeling, and even somewhat how Bucky is introverted), without any definitive goal in mind until things had to change, which I think Bucky still knew they would, but yeah, like I said, Bucky is definitely a deal with things as they come type of person ('though I gotta say this is very different from a wait-and-see attitude, which is just lazy, and clearly Bucky is the opposite of that).
Tumblr media
Conclusion:
Bucky is unquestionably ISFP if people just take the time to get to know Bucky and don't assume things about him based on very little information or even stereotyping, but like I said, since that's been a problem I wanted to counter and say for myself about Bucky's actual personality type/the indicators of that.

usopp positivity post #3
Usopp’s MBTI and personality type is an ENTP.
ENTPs are who people refer to as “The Debater”. He shares an MBTI w/ Sabo, Doflamingo, Gol D. Roger, Kizaru, Sun God Nika, Kaku, Lindbergh, Caesar Clown, and Dejiro.
ENTPs are often the life of the party thanks to their quick wit and ability to come up with hilarious quips and jokes on the spot. Usopp from "One Piece" showcases this perfectly with his humorous antics and the way he uses humor to lighten the mood or bond with his crewmates. His playful banter and comedic timing are classic traits of an ENTP, making him not just a strategic thinker and creative problem-solver, but also someone who brings a lot of laughter and fun into the mix.
Facts about ENTPs:
ENTPs have a talent for turning almost any situation into a lively debate. They thrive on intellectual stimulation and love to play devil's advocate.
They're often described as the "idea machine" of the MBTI types, constantly generating new concepts and possibilities.
ENTPs are notorious for their love of wordplay and puns. They're quick-witted and always ready with a clever quip.
They have a natural knack for improvisation, whether it's in conversation or problem-solving. ENTPs can think on their feet like no other type.
ENTPs have a mischievous streak and enjoy pushing boundaries, both socially and intellectually.
They're masters of persuasion, able to talk their way in and out of almost any situation with charm and charisma.
ENTPs can be easily distracted by shiny new ideas, often jumping from one project to the next without completing the first.
They thrive on intellectual stimulation and love to explore complex theories and concepts, often diving deep into esoteric subjects just for the thrill of it.
ENTPs have a rebellious streak and dislike being told what to do. They prefer to carve their own path and challenge authority 👀when necessary.
Despite their sometimes unpredictable and unconventional nature, ENTPs are incredibly loyal friends and partners, always willing to support those they care about.
Usopp really lines up with the ENTP personality type, and here’s why I think so:
Creative Genius: Usopp’s a master at whipping up cool gadgets and weapons, always coming up with wild, out-of-the-box solutions. This knack for innovation is just like an ENTP’s love for tackling problems in unique ways.
The Ultimate Storyteller: This guy’s stories are off the charts—entertaining, elaborate, and delivered with such passion. It’s something ENTPs are great at; they know how to engage and captivate an audience with just words.
Clever Strategist: Even when he’s scared, Usopp pulls through with some seriously clever tactics. It’s that strategic mind ENTPs are known for, finding ways to win even when the odds seem stacked.
Always Leveling Up: Usopp doesn’t just settle; he’s all about getting better and facing his fears. That drive to improve and challenge oneself is a big ENTP move.
Adapts on the Fly: Usopp rolls with the punches, adapting to whatever crazy thing comes his way. That flexibility is a core ENTP trait, helping them thrive in chaos.
So, yeah, Usopp’s adventures and how he handles them? Totally ENTP stuff. His creative and strategic thinking really shows why he fits this personality type to a T.

Pick-a-Vert
The “*Vert Spectrum” is a model that suggests that there is a continuum of introverted and extroverted behaviors, with ambiverts falling in the middle and omniverts switching rapidly. On one end of the spectrum are introverts, who tend to be quiet, reflective, and reserved. On the other end are extroverts, who are usually more outgoing, assertive, and sociable. Ambiverts fall somewhere in…
