Bandage

Linebeck looked warily at the bandage wrapped around Link’s tunic. “Shouldn’t that be inside your clothes?”

“That’s what I said!” Ciela agreed.

“You faint when you see blood, though,” Link noted somewhat worriedly. “I didn’t want to bleed on the ship.”

Linebeck was caught between guilt and exasperation, but instead he grew flustered, arguing, “I do not faint! Just lightheadedness! I have a weak constitution sometimes, it’s genetic!”

Even Link looked unconvinced.

MY HEADCANONS: CAN LINK COOK??

Hero of Hyrule (Hyrule Fantasy/TLOZ 1 + Adventure of Link):

Effortlessly skillful when it comes to cooking. Simple dishes with simple ingredients, but amazing results. He’s a pragmatic person with a great sense of deduction, so he always goes for what seems to be a “safe option”.

Hero of Legend (A Link to the Past + Oracle of Seasons/Ages + Link’s Awakening):

His uncle taught him a couple of basic recipes, which he modifies a little from time to time to avoid getting burned out from eating the same things. If he had to cook or bake something very different, though, he wouldn’t have a problem, but only if they provided him with instructions.

Hero of Time (Ocarina Of Time + Majora’s Mask):

Can’t cook at all, so he relies heavily on what he can eat raw or afford from the market. Following a recipe helps him greatly, but he doesn’t really enjoy the activity of cooking either, so he tends to avoid it.

Hero(es) of the Four Sword (Four Swords):

As a singular person, Link isn’t afraid to try cooking new dishes (as long as he can follow a cookbook). He’s better at cooking than at baking, though he's not particularly good at either activity. Still, it entertains him.

As four copies, they still enjoy cooking, but struggle to communicate, which makes it harder to get things done successfully.

Hero of Winds (The Wind Waker + Phantom Hourglass + Spirit Tracks):

Tends to get messy, but can cook fairly well. Often helps his grandma in the kitchen, and sometimes bakes cookies and other sweets for his sister. He’s not afraid to try new things at all.

Hero of the Minish (The Minish Cap)

He can make sandwiches. Very good sandwiches, in fact. He can’t do much more than that, even though he will gladly try.

Hero of Twilight (Twilight Princess):

Can cook, and enjoys it a lot! He uses the simple, humble ingredients available in Ordon village. On occasion, his neighbors from there trust him to be a babysitter for their children, and he manages to make veggies appetizing for them every time.

Hero of the Skies (Skyward Sword):

Since he lacks the self-confidence to try new things on his own, he feels better if the instructions are detailed and specific. He gets anxious if he doesn’t know exactly what to do or how to do it. When he attempts to cook, though, it usually turns out just fine.

Hylian Champion/Hero of the Wild (Breath of the Wild + Tears of the Kingdom):

Has mastered cooking by trial and error, and he loves it. To Link, every mistake is worth it when it comes to cooking and experimenting with new ingredients and recipes. He uses any ingredients he has and creates unique things every time. When things turn out well, he writes down the recipe.

currently I’m watching a Phantom Hourglass playthrough so it’s a perfect prompt !! I realised I forgot Ciela but Wind needs some dad and son time !!

My silly jokester omg. He’s very important to me so here are some headcanons in a very simplified form

some wind waker stuff!! I like to think that he went through the war of ages before phantom hourglass, and after phantom hourglass he meets the other links. he and mask both have a little variation of warriors’ scarf somewhere in their outfit bc I said so :3

as a weapon in the links meet he would probably use the skull hammer and the phantom sword. the wind waker too! didn’t draw his equipment on him but after I finish some more of the links designs maybe I’ll do some of their gear :0

Source/Game(s): Wind Waker and Phantom Hourglass (eventually Hyrule Warriors, but he hasn't gotten there yet)

Sexuality: Straight

Favorite Color(s): Tune loves the color blue. The color of the ocean and his favorite shirt. It’s a calming color.

Disliked Color(s): Tune isn’t very fond of the color grey. Grey typically means storm clouds. And storms can be dangerous if you’re on a boat, or if you’re on a small island. Grey means danger to him.

Skills: Tune is a decent swordsman, not the best in the chain, but also not the worst. He is very nimble on his feet though, his small size giving him an advantage when it comes to ducking and dodging and getting in a better position to fight.

Outside of combat Tune is a really good sailer and an expert at tying knots of all sorts. Plus he's an amazing shot with his ship's cannon.

Outfit/Design Notes: Tune wears his lobster shirt because it is his favorite shirt to wear in general. He doesn't really like to wear his 'hero's outfit' much, but he does wear the pants from it. He thinks it goes along with his shirt really well. Along with those he basically always has his power bracelets on as well as his pirate charm. Plus his spoils bag, since you never know when you're going to find some treasure.

Tune is based on people from the Polynesian islands so he has very dark skin and curly, dark brown hair.

Other: Tune has been in a relationship with Tetra since he was 14 and they're still going strong. He adores her and respects her not only as his partner but also as his captain. While their main goal is to locate a land that they can settle to form New Hyrule Tetra is also aiming to become the Pirate Queen of the Great Sea. And Tune is behind her in every way, ready and willing to support her plans.
