Me aconsejas?
Happy manifesting ❤️

Banduan disambut cam hero hindustan dgn escort lagi....
Maka, speaker seperti budak suruhan lari keluaq cari2 orang. - f/bk
Seputeh MP Teresa Kok today claimed that a minister visited Turkey from July 3 to 7 and attended Dewan Rakyat on July 13. Kok told the Dewan Rakyat that the minister in question was in charge of plantation industries and commodities.
“We know that whoever goes overseas needs to undergo quarantine for 14 days. But this minister did not comply (with the quarantine rules),” the DAP lawmaker said. She asked if the health ministry or Parliament should take action against him.
Former deputy health minister Lee Boon Chye (PH-Gopeng), who was debating on the Temporary Measures for Reducing the Impact of Coronavirus Disease 2019 (Covid-19) Bill 2020, said action should be taken if the claim was true. “There should be no double standards,” he added.- f/bk
The RM4 million rebuke...
The DAP could hardly contain its elation when it announced on Saturday that in just one week Malaysians from all walks of life had contributed almost RM4 million to the solidary fund set up to help DAP secretary-general Lim Guan Eng (LGE) cover his bail expenses. The whopping response by ordinary Malaysians, at a time of economic hardship no less, says a lot about the mood of the public these days. In the first place, it is a sure sign that public faith in the integrity and credibility of government institutions has hit rock bottom. Coming after the sweetheart deal involving Riza Aziz and the withdrawal of charges against former Sabah chief minister Musa Aman, the corruption charges against LGE were viewed with nothing but scepticism and contempt. And when you add to the mix the plotting that brought down the Warisan government in Sabah and attempts now underway to challenge the legality of the royal pardon that Anwar received in 2018, it is not a difficult leap to conclude that a conspiracy is afoot to castrate the opposition and keep it from challenging an already shaky government. If MCA and Gerakan were hoping for some political dividend from the corruption charges against LGE, they would, no doubt, be greatly disappointed. They tried to make an issue of the donation drive – by questioning why the DAP was appealing for public donations to help pay for LGE’s bail when the DAP secretary-general and his wife were more than capable of paying for it themselves – but it fell flat.
LGE is, of course, no pauper but the fund-raising exercise was never really about the money; it was a shrewd political move to harness public outrage over the charges, an invitation to the public to express with their cheque books their disdain for the government’s actions. And clearly, Malaysians rose to the occasion in splendid form, delivering a stunning RM4 million rebuke to the government. PN parties can fulminate all they want about the DAP’s tactics but there’s no escaping the fact that UMNO, MCA or Gerakan can never dream of raising such support from the public themselves. Many voters would rather swallow whatever coin they have than give it to PN parties. Certainly, when UMNO stalwarts tried to raise money for former UMNO president Najib’s bail in 2018, the results were less than inspiring. Media reports indicated that about RM500,000 was raised and that too mostly from UMNO branches. Perhaps after seeing the glittering array of treasure that was taken from his home, people wisely concluded that Najib didn’t need any of their hard-earned money. No word yet on whether there were any donations from Najib’s many Saudi admirers or whether the MCA or the Gerakan themselves offered financial support to the man they were once so proud to follow. In the end, the PN government might have done the opposition a huge favour by its clumsy attempt to sideline LGE. All it did was to make voters angry enough with PN to rally to the DAP. As the party’s publicity secretary Tony Pua said with obvious glee, “The response [to the solidarity fund] has been incredible and exceeded all expectations… [it] has certainly reinvigorated all of us at DAP.”
The same thing happened when former prime minister Mahathir Mohamad brought trumped-up sodomy charges against Anwar Ibrahim in 1998. Malaysians, instinctively recognizing that an injustice was being perpetrated, flocked to Anwar’s banner by the hundreds of thousands. It gave birth to the reformasi movement which has had such a profound impact on Malaysian politics since.
It is a reminder that in politics, perception is everything. If people perceive something is not right, they will respond appropriately. For now at least, PN may have the power but it cannot claim to have the hearts of the people. The DAP leadership, however, should not take the support of the people for granted especially when it comes to their blinkered love affair with Mahathir. Many voters have grown weary of Mahathir’s endless race-based political intrigues and schemes. They overwhelmingly hold him accountable for the collapse of the PH government and are in no mood to give him another chance. Mahathir’s continuing obsession with race came through again when he launched his new party last week. Instead of talking about building a united and democratic nation, which is what is desperately needed, he talked about the struggle for Malay dignity and Malay rights. From past experience, we know that when Malay politicians talk about fighting for Malay rights, they are invariably implying that the non-Malays have become too strong, too rich, too ungrateful or too whatever. This was the same narrative that Mahathir deployed at the Malay Dignity Congress to gather support for his plans to form a Malay unity government. No one wants to see a repeat performance. If the DAP wants to continue to enjoy the support of the people it must not fall for Mahathir’s charms again. Voters would rather the DAP (and PKR) remain in opposition and continue to fight for a more inclusive and democratic nation than be in a government led by a man they no longer trust. If the DAP is so desperate to return to power that it is willing to blindly follow Mahathir once more, it might just have to look for rich Saudi donors the next time it needs support. - Dennis Ignatius

cheers.

Best restaurants in Lahore

There are plenty of great eateries and restaurants in Lahore for whenever you want to hang out with friends and family. If you’re someone who wants quality packed into cuisine but at a reasonable price, you’ve come to the right place. So whenever you feel generous and long for some ‘affordable luxury’ as opposed to very cheap, budget food, head on over to dine at some of these restaurants in Lahore that serve food under Rs. 1000/-:
The Work
Located in the prime Mall 1, Gulberg area, The Wok is a Chinese food lover’s paradise. You get to put together your meal from a variety of entrees in chicken, beef, and fish with a side of chow mein or rice. There are soups and appetizers and Pina Coladas so you’re well taken care of. This “bowl-system” really works for groups of people who have varying tastes and normally can’t agree on what to get. So, yay!
The Sweet tooth
As the name suggests, yes there’s dessert involved. However, The Sweet Tooth even has its own share of mind-blowing namkeen dishes! We’d talk about their remarkable chicken and beef burgers, but we’re really here to discuss the cheesy goodness their deep dish pizza is. Layers of marinara, cheese, vegetables and sausage, and more cheese – you’ll be planning your next visit before you’re even done eating. This too, under PKR 1,000 and this is also include in Best Restaurants in Lahore
Mouthful
Mouthful is so underestimated. Their taste, their quality and value for money is incredible, which is why they’re on this list! The restaurant has a variety of under PKR 1,000 options to choose from like tandoori fish tikka, paneer harvali and their beer (non-alcoholic) can chicken! They even have a brunch menu with nehari and their signature omelette’s sure to fill you up really well!
Rina's Kitchenette
Rina’s has been a household name for many years now. They started out with to-die-for cakes and desserts, and now have successfully transitioned into a to-die-for eatery! With great ambiance, Rina’s Kitchenette delivers fully with its menu too. Buttermilk fried chicken burgers, cheeseburgers, sandwiches, chicken pot pies, three cheese cannelloni and so much more, it’d be a mistake if you turn back from the rush and go elsewhere. Most of these options come below PKR 1,000 even with taxes, so head down to this favorite among restaurants in Lahore.
Outpost BYOB
Outpost BYOB has been a constant in Lahore’s burger scene. Paired with their outdoor setting, their beef and chicken burgers are an absolute treat. You can build your own burger (BYOB :D) the way you want it, whether it’s with melted gouda or mozzarella, pickles, caramelized onions, honey mustard sauce… it’s really up to you. Add some fries or onion rings, get a fresh lime and you’re sorted. All this under PKR 1,000. If you have cash to spare and have an obsession for cheese, you NEED to try their mozzarella sticks that are served piping hot with stringy cheese ready to burst out of the outer breaded layer.
The Brasserie
A new addition to the Mall 1 restaurants in Lahore, the Brasserie is good interior mixed with amazing taste and good value! Almost their entire menu, except for the beef, lamb and seafood entrees, is under PKR 1,000 and includes grilled sandwiches, very juicy burgers, to-die-for pizzas, authentic pasta, and lastly, some pretty impressive salads. Their three cheese chicken with spaghetti is a customer favorite and dare we say has also been compared to a similar dish from Café Aylanto – only more affordable. Pair your chicken with a chilled soft drink. Call for the check, pay within PKR 1,000 and walk away a happy person.
Nando’s
Nando’s does chicken and refills like no other! Get yourself some of that delicious flame grilled Peri Peri quarter chicken with some wedges and a coke and you’ll go home happy! If that isn’t your thing, dive right into the specials and have a huge copper dish of spiced yellow rice, grilled vegetables, and some chicken thighs smothered in Peri Peri sauce – crisp on the outside and juicy on the inside. Yes, please!
The Pantry By The Polo Lounge
The Pantry has one of the finest and most extensive menus in Lahore. For breakfast, they serve the best yogurt and granola with fruits and nuts – the perfect start to a day. Don’t like granola? Have a freshly baked bagel with cream cheese or some heavenly eggs benedict with turkey bacon and a latte! If you’re not there for breakfast, try one of their pastas, burgers, pizzas and grilled chickens. They all come under PKR 1,000 and some even leave space for a strawberry mojito or sattu (barley) if you want a healthier option!
Café Zouk
Sure Café Zouk is old-school, doesn’t mean it’s stopped being Zouk! It’s every Lahori’s safe-place – if you can’t decide where to go, if all else fails, you know you can always go to Zouk. Sure their menu’s overwhelming, but it also delivers in taste and quality. Be it their creamy ricotta, spinach-filled chicken cannelloni or the special cordon bleu burger stuffed with cheese, there are many options (in pasta, noodles, burgers, sandwiches) in the otherwise expensive menu that are under PKR 1,000 leaving you cash for drinks and/or dessert! So next time you and your S/O can’t decide where to go, go to Café Zouk

Menjawab 19 Tohmahan Pada DS Najib Ada macai mai tepek poster seperti di bawah untuk memperlekehkan kejayaan-kejayaan DS Najib mentadbir negara dengan cemerlang. Berikut adalah jawapan-jawapan kepada 19 tohmahan itu: 01. Proton - tak pernah untung. Bisnes 33 tahun rugi memanjang. Baik jual dari dokong biawak hidup vendor kroni Tun. 02. F1 - projek tak pernah menguntungkan negara. Rakyat marhaen pun tak pernah mampu nak beli seat mahal-mahal tu. 03. Lapangan Terbang Sg Besi dijual sebab hilang nilai strategik ketenteraan. 04. 1MDB gagal - Katalah gagal pun, 1MDB membayar hutangnya sendiri. TIDAK ADA BAILOUTS. Sedangkan sebenarnya tak gagal. TRX tu 1MDB la tengah buat sekarang. Tak seperti company-company zaman Atok. Memanjang bailout. Bailout harga berganda-ganda plak tu demi pastikan kroni kekal kaya. 05. Ringgit merudum - Ringgit paling banyak merudum zaman Tun. 1USD = RM4.80. Rizab Bank Negara menipis. DS Najib arahkan KWSP beli konsesi tol. Supaya kalau pun rakyat kena bayar, hasilnya tetap pergi kepada rakyat (pencarum KWSP). 07. GST dilaksanakan - Ini tindakan bijak yang telah menyelamatkan ekonomi negara ketika harga minyak jatuh. GST sistem cukai paling telus di dunia. Wang dibayar pasti masuk ke kantung negara. Sistem cukai lapok SST zaman Tun penuh ketirisan. 10. Petrol naik - Ini adalah masalah global. Satu dunia kena. Takkan ni pun salah Najib. Badigol sood tul. 11. Pelabur asing lari - Ni zaman Atok bukan zaman Najib. 12. Ahli UMNO keluar parti - Hahahhaha!!! Ni apa kena mengena ni? Ahli UMNO dah keluar parti sejak tahun 50an (PAS), 1988 (Semangat 46), 1999 (PKR) dan terbaru Bunge. Tapi UMNO kekal memerintah dengan jayanya. 13. Warga asing bertambah - Ini petanda ekonomi negara mantap. Warga asing tak pergi negara-negara gagal dan miskin. 14. Aset negara dilelong - Aset apa yang dilelong ni? Hahahhah. Jual beli syarikat adalah normal. Mercedes Benz dibeli oleh Geely. Apakah Germany dah lelong Mercedes? 15. Tanah strategik digadai - Tanah mana tu yang kena gadai? Temberang je lebih. Forest City yang Atok kata gadai tu tanah tambak ngok. Satu inci pun bumi johor tak jual pada China. 16. Kapal terbang hilang - Aisey... nahas macam ni pun jadi bahan untuk kenakan Najib? Zaman Tun dulu Highland Tower runtuh. Tu sebab Tun jugak kan? 🤣 17. Petrol naik - Cai siap tulis 2 kali untuk panjangkan list. (Perkara no 10). 18. Bila Mahathir kata nak jadi PM, Anwar tak setuju, tapi Anwar tak kata tak mahu bekerjasama dgn Mahathir. - Wfauzdin Ns

Historic Parliament Session
Begins 13th July...
The sitting of the Dewan Rakyat (the House of Representatives) of the Malaysian Parliament starting tomorrow is a momentous occasion – a history in its own right. Two “extraordinary” items fire the imagination of the public. One concerns the position of the Speaker and the other of the Prime Minister himself. And there might be a third – a new voting bloc. The former Prime Minister (twice), Dr Mahathir Mohamad, had announced that six “Bersatu” MPs are aligning themselves with nine Warisan and a single UPKO members to form a new voting bloc. As had been widely reported, the Prime Minister, Muhyiddin Mohd Yassin, had submitted a motion seeking the removal of the highly regardless Speaker, Tan Sri Mohamad Ariff Md Yusof, while Dr Mahathir would continue with his motion to have Muhyiddin removed. Since being sworn in on March 2, Muhyiddin had adopted a slash and burn policy of firing appointees of the Pakatan Harapan (PH) government, most of whom were professionals, and replacing them with his people, the majority of whom are politicians. It’s his way of buying support. Mohamad Ariff, a former Appeal Court judge was appointed in July 17, 2018 upon the victory of the PH in the May 9 General Elections. Also to be removed is one of the two Deputy Speakers, Nga Kor Ming, the PH (DAP) Member of Parliament for Teluk Intan, Perak. The other, Mohd Rashid Hasnon, the PH (PKR) MP for Batu Pahat, Johor, appears to be unaffected. It has been widely reported that Muhyiddin has nominated the former Chairman of the Election Commission, lawyer Azhar Harun, as the candidate for the Speaker post and the BN (Umno) MP for Pengerang, Johor, Azalina Othman Said, as Nga’s replacement. Azhar, who is better known by his non de plume Art Harun, resigned from the EC on June 29. He was nominated to the EC post by the PH government of which Muhyiddin was a senior member. It appears that he is being nominated in order to continue to give a semblance of independence to the Chair. But it raises eyebrows because only four months ago Muhyiddin had nominated his elder brother, Idrus Harun, as Attorney General. Two things are to be considered. Firstly, it has been widely reported that this is the first time in the country’s history that the Prime Minister is seeking the removal of the Speaker. Secondly, the motion could be used to show confidence in the Prime Minister or as an indirect no-confidence vote against him depending on the “yea” and “nay” from members. Do bear in mind that Muhyiddin himself had admitted, during his March 27 television broadcast, that “this isn’t the government you voted for.” His Muafakat Nasional (MN) ally, Pas President Abdul Hadi Awang was even more candid when he described Muhyiddin’s Perikatan Nasional (PN) government as one that came in through the roof. Abdul Hadi, who is the MP for Marang, had since been appointed Muhyiddin’s Special Envoy to the Middle East with ministerial status and understandably had stopped complaining about the legitimacy of the PN’s government.
No-Confidence Motion According to media report, Dr Mahathir had successfully submitted a no-confidence motion against Muhyiddin. It was supposed to have been moved in the last session. But Muhyiddin succeeded in stifling it by limiting the session to one day - May 18 - and confining the nominal sitting to just the King’s speech. And now it’s being widely speculated that Muhyiddin is seeking Mohd Ariff’s removal because he (Mohd Ariff) accepted Dr Mahathir’s motion. If he remains in the Chair, he might facilitate the tabling of the “usul”. Muhyiddin could be betting on a more thoughtful and kinder treatment from a new Speaker in whose appointment he has a hand. But it might not be as easy as that. He could face resistance from House members. They might not agree with his attempt to remove Mohd Ariff and appoint Azhar. If this happens, his standing as the Prime Minister will be hurt because such an outcome could be interpreted as an indirect no-confidence vote against him. Conversely, if he succeeds in having Mohd Ariff removed and Azhar appointed, his position becomes stronger and Dr Mahathir’s no-confidence motion could see a tougher passage. But whatever the outcome maybe, the final objective must still be for the good of the country and the people more so as we enter the recovery phase of the Covid-19 pandemic and are rebuilding of the economy. - A.Kadir Jasin
What if Muhyiddin fails to remove Ariff?...
Prime Minister Muhyiddin Yassin has made a move to remove the parliamentary speaker Mohamad Ariff Md Yusof against the staunch objection by civil society and the opposition. But what if a miracle happens that the motion - unprecedented for the Parliament - is narrowly defeated? Talk about unintended consequences in politics. Would that backfire on Muhyiddin that a failed removal of the speaker, in turn, shortens his premiership or at least forces him into a snap poll, much like how Dr Mahathir Mohamad’s machination to derail Anwar Ibrahim’s succession ended in terminating his own? Legislative defeat does not amount to a loss of confidence. Just like the rejection of Budget (supply bill), a legislative defeat was once treated as an informal vote of no-confidence, necessitating the prime minister to resign or seek fresh election. In fact, the first prime ministerial resignation in Britain happened in 1742 when Britain’s first PM Robert Walpole lost a House of Common’s vote on the validity of a by-election. A year before that, the first-ever formal motion of no-confidence was tabled against Walpole but he survived. In 1944, Winston Churchill forced the Parliament to vote on an amendment bill as a vote of confidence on his premiership and won the gamble. As politics get more fragmented and government backbenchers more rebellious, it makes no sense for contemporary governments to resign over every legislative defeat. A case in point: Theresa May resigned only after her fourth humiliating defeat in the House over Brexit, which would affect Britons for generations. Hence, if Muhyiddin fails to remove the speaker, he needs not to be seen as losing the Parliament’s confidence, although it would look good for him to table and win a vote of confidence to silence his detractors. In fact, as pointed out by PKR parliamentarian Hassan Karim, Muhyiddin even has a convenient precedent left by Mahathir, the first PM who lost on a constitutional amendment. Much ado over nothing in changing speaker? On the other hand, how much advantage would Muhyiddin gain by successfully removing Ariff (below)? If Muhyiddin’s motivation to remove Ariff is an act of vengeance on the speaker’s decision to accept Mahathir’s motion of no-confidence on the original agenda for the May 18 parliamentary session, then it makes perfect sense.
Apa terjadi jika Muhyiddin gagal singkir Ariff?
After all, Ariff is the first federal speaker that defies sitting prime ministers, a bad example that must be removed if you want a rubber stamp Parliament. However, if changing of the speaker is driven by a cool-headed calculation to keep Muhyiddin in office, I am afraid that the PM may have been ill-advised. The opposition has two ways to unseat a government. A formal motion of no-confidence can be suppressed by pushing it down to the bottom of the agenda with government businesses – Mahathir’s motion of no-confidence is now the 27th item – and a partisan speaker is useful to avoid any fast track of such motions. However, the second way – the defeat of the Budget – cannot be avoided by even the most partisan speaker in the world. Every year, when the Budget is being tabled, technically the government’s head is on the Parliament’s chopping board. When the Budget is passed, the Parliament’s axe stays in the air and the government’s head passes through the chopping board in one piece. No speaker can stop the axe from falling down. What keeps the axe in the air is the government’s majority. So, if Muhyiddin loses his majority, his government will end latest by early December when his budget must be put to vote. If the opposition has a majority, they can slowly humiliate the government by voting down every motion in the seven-week process right after Budget Day (Nov 6). Strategically speaking, dishing out cabinet and government-linked company (GLC) positions to ensure the loyalty of government MPs is indeed the rational move in that “scheme of things”, not changing the speaker. And if the government does have the majority, defeating the opposition’s motion of no-confidence will procedurally legitimise its power and stealing the latter’s thunder. Where extending government’s lifeline is concerned, changing the speaker may be a placebo rather than a magic pill. Government’s little gain, democracy’s big loss?
Some readers will now ask, how can it be possible that a little gain for the government turns to be a big loss for democracy that civil society and the opposition make a huge protest? The answer is simply this: Parliament is more than just the electoral college of the prime minister. Other than retaining/revoking confidence government and approving budgets (supply bills) – the so-called “confidence and supply” matter, we pay Parliament (RM145 million in 2019, of which RM44 million alone for MPs’ monthly allowance) to make laws and scrutinise the government. Our Dewan Rakyat needs a speaker who is both impartial and visionary to unite the MPs from across the different parties and to continue parliamentary reform: more parliamentary committees, slots for non-government business, balloting for private members’ bills, recognition for shadow cabinet and a parliamentary service commission. A partisan speaker alone can make the august House a rubber stamp by silencing the opposition and vocal government backbenchers. We have seen enough of Ariff’s predecessors in Dewan Rakyat as well as speakers in state assemblies who block lawmakers from questioning the government even suspend them just to protect the executive from embarrassment. Standing up to the executive is, therefore, the first quality that we must look for in parliamentary speakers. When Charles I entered the English Parliament in 1642 with soldiers to arrest five MPs, England’s greatest parliamentary speaker William Lenthall famously defied the king by saying: “May it please your majesty, I have neither eyes to see nor tongue to speak in this place but as this house is pleased to direct me whose servant I am here; and humbly beg your majesty’s pardon that I cannot give any other answer than this is to what your majesty is pleased to demand of me.” Ariff is the closest we have to Lenthall. He defied two prime ministers. Before defying Muhyiddin in May by accepting Mahathir’s motion, he defied Mahathir’s request to convene a special session on March 2. Had he conceded to Mahathir, who made him the speaker, Muhyiddin may not be PM today. Hence, Ariff is not a loyalist to Mahathir or Pakatan Harapan. He is a loyalist to parliamentary democracy.
Not many speakers get to be tested twice to demonstrate the independence of Parliament from PM. In passing both tests, Ariff not only can hold his head high in history, but he also made a new page in history for our Parliament. And what is the reason to remove Ariff now? The motion offers nothing except that “terdapat pencalonan lain” (there is now another candidate). This is an insult to Ariff, the new nominee Azhar Harun (above) and the office of the speaker. The speaker is not a spectacular chandelier in a white elephant building which costs RM145 million in annual maintenance that you simply replace one with another. I am an admirer for Azhar’s vision, competence and integrity. He can certainly be a great speaker, possibly no less than Ariff, in any other circumstance, and definitely a great president of the Senate. It is tragic now that Azhar is made to fill in the shoes of a giant who must be sacked for having passed the providence’s test to defy two prime ministers. Is a surprise defeat possible? If all 222 MPs give full attendance and abide by party lines, it would be a slim majority of 113 to 109. But the final numbers may be different. Any opposition MPs who are absent may raise suspicion that they will soon join the government’s bench. On the other hand, government MPs who are absent for whatever reason – food poisoning, coughs, fever or some non-medical circumstance – will help to keep a good speaker while reminding the PM of their own values. If they have not got any GLC appointment, they would likely get it before the Parliament is adjourned in August. If you want to tell the MPs to do the right thing, whether in the presence or by their absence, please sign the petition here. - Wong Chin Huat,mk
Again? this "hate-crime" need to stop!!!

cheers.

UMNO/PAS Will Continue Blackmailing Muhyiddin, Including To Drop All Criminal Charges On Najib n Zahid...
Prime Minister Muhyiddin Yassin has appointed Tiong King Sing as the Special Envoy to China with ministerial rank. Effectively, the already bloated 70 ministries Cabinet is now consisting of an eye-popping 72 ministers, including the recent promotion of Hadi Awang as Special Envoy to the Middle East (despite Saudi Arabia still considers Mr. Hadi as a “terrorist”). However, unlike Hadi, whose Islamist party PAS has in its possession of 18 seats in the Parliament, Mr. Tiong’s Progressive Democratic Party has only 2 seats. Exactly how could a leader of a party with only 2 Member of Parliaments be given a ministerial position? Tiong had also humiliated PM Muhyiddin when he turned down his initial appointment as Deputy National Unity Minister. While the name “Tiong King Sing” might sound unfamiliar, he was the big boss of Kuala Dimensi Sdn Bhd, the turnkey contractor of the PKFZ (Port Klang Free Zone) project. Yes, Tiong King Sing was the same man popularly known within the circle of MCA as the “twin brother” of Wee Ka Siong (current MCA president, whose 47% in Hijau Sekitar Sdn Bhd was a sub-contractor of PKFZ). Mr. Tiong, also known as the Mafia Bintulu, became a billionaire when he sold his Kuala Dimensi’s 1,000 acres (4.0 km2) of Pulau Indah land to Port Klang Authority for a cool RM1.8 billion, the same land he had bought for only RM95 million, thanks to his connection with Mr. Wee. The PKFZ soon exploded into a RM12 billion scandal due to cost overruns and financial irregularities. The PKFZ scandal was so explosive and toxic back in 2008-09 that even the police during the era of corrupt Barisan Nasional regime had to freeze luxury cars, lands, a Gulfstream IV jet aircraft and a Learjet 60 aircraft belonging to Mr. Tiong under the Anti-Money Laundering Act. Of course, Tiong King Sing didn’t go to jail, let alone Wee Ka Siong. Yet, the simple fact that PM Muhyiddin had to “kowtow” to a corrupt mafia boss like Tiong speaks volumes about what a weak leader he is. The racist “Malay first” Muhyiddin is not only being bullied by a rich mafia boss, but is also constantly pushed around like a prostitute by racist, extremist and corrupt politicians of the same ethnicity – UMNO and PAS Malays.
Not satisfied with the appointment of their boss – PAS president Hadi Awang as Special Envoy to the Middle East – the Islamist party took the opportunity, while the country is in the middle of Coronavirus pandemic, to demand for all its MPs (Members of Parliament) who currently do not hold positions in government to be made heads of GLCs (government linked companies). Not to be outdone, UMNO president Zahid Hamidi had similarly pressed for more positions when his letter dated April 16 was leaked. Mr. Zahid has demanded that the prime minister appoints four Sabah UMNO leaders (Bung Moktar Radin, Mohamad Alamin, Rahman Dahlan and Yakubah Khan) to government positions not only at federal but also at the state level. In fact, Zahid (who himself faces record 87 criminal charges) has openly demanded that Sabah UMNO chairman Bung Moktar be appointed as Sabah Federal Development chairman, despite the former Felcra chairman Bung Moktar and his wife Zizie Izette are being charged for taking bribes in a RM150 million investment in Public Mutual unit trust products. Rahman Dahlan, one of the loudest cheerleaders of former PM Najib Razak’s 1MDB scandal, should be made a senator, said the despicable Zahid in his letter. Thereafter, PM Muhyiddin was told to appoint Mohamad Alamin as a deputy minister while Yakubah Khan be given the post of Labuan Port Board chairman. But the blackmail has just begun. It’s most likely that not-so-clever Zahid has consulted his former boss Najib in what appears to be an evil and wicked plan to not only intimidate and bully the weak backdoor prime minister, but also to test how much UMNO could push the weak Muhyiddin for more concessions. The letter was deliberately leaked to humiliate the Malaysian leader, knowing very well that he would be powerless to retaliate. While UMNO has nothing to lose, the same cannot be said about Bersatu. The simpleton Muhyiddin thought he was the biggest winner after he betrayed his own Pakatan Harapan government and formed a backdoor Perikatan Nasional government with oppositions UMNO and PAS. He thought he could control his new allies the same way Mahathir had controlled DAP and PKR. If Muhyiddin refuses to grant the wishes of ally PAS, he would lose power if the extremist Islamist party pulls out. If Muhyiddin refuses to give whatever ally UMNO wants, he would lose power if the racist and corrupt party pulls out. If the prime minister is so spineless as to obediently appoint a corrupt leader like Bung Moktar, then it’s a jackpot for both Zahid and Najib.
Yes, the letter of demand from Zahid was to test the water. If the prime minister could be bullied to the extent of appointing even a small fry like Bung Moktar, then the conclusion is that the same PM Muhyiddin can be forced to pervert and pressure the judicial system to free crooks like Zahid Hamidi and Najib Razak of all charges related to corruption, money laundering and criminal breach of trust (CBT). With razor-thin 114 MPs (112 minimum seats are required to form a simple majority government in the 222-seat Parliament) supporting the backdoor government, the traitor and treacherous Muhyiddin is – comically – at the mercy of UMNO-led Barisan Nasional’s 42 MPs (UMNO’s 39, MCA’s 2 and MIC’s 1), PAS (18 MPs) and Sarawak-based GPS (18 MPs) to hold on to power. UMNO and PAS do not mind at all if Muhyiddin threatens to dissolve the Parliament and calls for a snap election. As a matter of fact, UMNO and PAS are betting every dollar they have that the president of Bersatu (who has less than 36 MPs after Mahathir and some refused to align to him) does not have the balls to go for a general election. For now, UMNO and PAS are happily riding Muhyiddin as if he was like a donkey, whipping the idiot whenever they want power and projects. When the day of general elections finally comes, both parties will kick away Muhyiddin and whatever is left of his Perikatan Nasional government, and split the seats to be contested between UMNO and PAS only. But it’s one thing to demand for government positions so that projects and contracts could be secured to enrich families and cronies. It’s another thing altogether for the UMNO and PAS leaders to break the laws and get away with it. Despite less than 2 months, the people have seen how 2 laws are being practised by Muhyiddin government – 1 set of law for ordinary people while another for VVIPs. Ever since the MCO (movement control order) was declared in March 18, the authorities have arrested, fined or jailed at least 15,924 people for flouting the government’s lockdown. Some of them are still kept in jail while awaiting their trial and others fined up to RM1,000. Even those attending funerals have been arrested and slapped with fines without sympathy whatsoever. However, when photos emerged of two deputy ministers and one Menteri Besar (Chief Minister) meeting people in three separate functions while obviously failing to follow the lockdown and social distancing rules, people were incredibly furious over the police inaction – dragging their feet on whether to arrest the VIPs aligned to Muhyiddin government.
In Perak, Deputy Health Minister Noor Azmi Ghazali and fellow Perak executive councillor Razman Zakaria were pictured sitting down to lunch with some 20 people. In another photo, Deputy Development Minister Abdul Rahman Mohamad happily cut a cake while closely surrounded by his supporters in Pahang. Had this been done by ordinary folks, they would have been arrested and thrown into prison. Then, there was the PAS warlord, Terengganu Menteri Besar Ahmad Samsuri Mokhtar, who proudly posted on Twitter of him having lunch with former Menteri Besar Ahmad Said in the latter’s home. Under the “Stay at home” restrictive orders, no mass gatherings are allowed, and only one family member is allowed to go out to buy groceries, medicines or food. So, does that mean ordinary people can travel to visit their friend for lunch since the Terengganu Chief Minister has set an example? Senior Minister Ismail Sabri Yaakob, who is also the defence minister, has previously warned that MCO violators would be arrested under the third phase of the MCO (from April 15 – 28) instead of just being slapped with RM1,000 fines. For obvious reason, the police has had only dared to record statements as part of their so-called investigations into the government VIPs’ breach of the law. Even the supposedly “clean and courageous” IGP (Inspector General of Police) Abdul Hamid Bador is as quiet as a church mouse when the big guns linked to Muhyiddin backdoor government deliberately broke the laws. It would take public uproar for Perak EXCO Razman and Terengganu Chief Minister Ahmad Samsuri to apologise for their actions, while Deputy Health Minister Noor Azmi deleted the photos on his Facebook account. But the fact that they haven’t been arrested and charged, let alone handcuffed, unlike many Malaysians who have flouted the MCO, shows the pathetic double standards practised. Can ordinary Malaysians, upon being caught by the police for flouting the lockdown, quickly apologise and be forgiven by the authorities without the threat of handcuff, remand and imprison? Turtle egg Senior MInister Ismail Sabri Yaakob claimed that no one is above the law. Yet, none of the VIPs are dealt accordingly. The coward PM Muhyiddin, as usual, is hiding while keeping his mouth shut. Heck, even Nurul Hidayah, the eldest daughter of disgraced Zahid Hamidi didn’t care about breaking the MCO law when she posted photographs about her meeting with Deputy Environment and Water Minister Ahmad Masrizal Muhammad together with her husband. When a netizen questioned Nurul, she arrogantly challenged the critic to report to the police – suggesting that her father is now more powerful than PM Muhyiddin. - FT

Nasi lemak kopi 'O' kaw...
Nasi lemak kopi 'O' kaw....
Ana terbaca knyataan Khalid Samad yg bertajuk Tun: Kawan atau lawan buat PH. Pnjg artikelnya. Kesimpulannya, ana setuju dgn pandangan beliau 100%. So, ulasan ana: Ente semua nk lihat Kerajaan PNkhianat berkubur dlm masa terdekat ni...? Nk tngok lebai PAS berendam dlm kolam tahik lps ni..? Tipsnya mudah je sebenarnya, ana ringkaskan: 1. Buang ego masing2, terutamanya penyokong2 ultras Anwar. Jgn kurang ajar, jgn desak, jgn biadap kpd tubuh badanTun. Xpyh la nk maki hamun org tua tu. Hormat je dia atas dasar org tua. Dia pun dh dpt karmanya. Baru dia tau bgmana Azmin yg dia anggap sbg anak emas dia boleh khianat dia. Baru dia tau Muhyidin tu dubuk mcm lebai PAS jugak. Biar je pucuk pimpinan tertinggi PH buat keputusan yg terbaik diatas sana. Kita ada Tun, Anwar, Abg Mat dan Lim Guan Eng. Ltk je kepercayaan penuh pd mrk. Siapa yg akan jd PM, biarkan mrk berempat yg putuskan. Yg lain jgn sibuk.

2. Jgn lupa, Tun sendiri punya pengaruhnya dari kalangan bbrp MP BERSATU, Sabah dan Sarawak. Simple calculation, PKR, AMANAH, DAP + (Tun n the team), kita mampu dpt simple majoriti yg diperlukan dlm parlimen nti. PH x akan kuat jika kita berpecah. Masing2 saling perlu memerlukan. Tanpa satu drpnya, formula ini TIDAK AKAN BERJAYA. 3. Kali ini PH solid tanpa geng kartel. Dulu, yg buat serabut dlm PH ni sebenarnya geng kartel, Azmin semburit. Skg geng kartel dh xda. Lbh senang buat keputsan.
4. Dlm keadaan pengurusan negara yg celaru dan cacamerba, dgn adanya Menteri2 recyle yg x perform semasa dlm kerajaan PH perintah dlu, ditambah lg dgn badut2 sarkas yg dilantik dlm barisan kabinet baru Muhyidin yg dilihat lbh kpd memberi ghanimah tanda terimakasih keatas kejayaan yg diperolehi hasil drp usaha pengkhianatan (bkn sbb kelayakkan sbnr pun), ana yakin MP2 lain yg lbh perform dan wibawa yg dipinggirkan, akan berfikir 2 kali utk terus memberi sokongan kpd Kerajaan PNipu sebelum sidang nanti.
5. Ana percaya, kita semua dh belajar dari kesilapan lalu. DAP dh terima karmanya. Kalo benci sgt dgn Tun tu, jgn tengok muka dia. Tgok muka Anwar sudah. Xlama pun org tua tu dah. Umurnya 95 dah. Sabar sikit je lg atau x mrasa lngsung. Politik ada seninya. Buang ego masing2. Rapatkan saf semula. Jgn ada rasa kita sorg je bijak. Org lain bijak juga. Raikan pendapat sahabat2 kita. Jgn bergaduh sesama sndri. Jgn jd bodo. Back to basic. Just my ten cents opinion. Now or never...! - Azhar Ismail
Lebai2 PAS kata orang cemburu
pasai Hadi dilantik duta....
Jadi fahamkan..Sebab aku kritik haji Hadi bukan sebab dia dilantik Duta Khas seperti Sammy vellu dulu..tapi aku marah kenapa kebencian dia ekpada Ds Anwar masih belum padam.. - Ipohmali
- MD

Muhyiddin’s Lazy Backdoor Government Should Start Thinking About An “Exit Strategy” Like Germany...
Germany has unleashed a “To-Do List” to enable the country to lift, or at least scale down the lockdown, scheduled to end on April 19. The government hopes with the list of measures to be implemented, people could return to their normal life. Since its March 22’s lockdown, the Europe’s largest economy has been suffering from a meltdown and is tipped to enter recession this year. Basically, the German government has identified 3 primary steps to be taken as its exit strategy. First, it’s a mandatory that everyone wears a mask in public. Second, public gatherings will be limited. Third, tracing of infection chains will be expedited. The proposal documents say the measures should be sufficient to keep the number of people infected by each person below 1. For this plan to work, mechanisms will be put in place to track more than 80% of people with whom an infected person had contact within 24 hours of diagnosis. Those infected and the people they had contact with will be quarantined, either at home or in hotels. When that is achieved, schools will be able to reopen on a regional basis and strict border controls will be relaxed. The exit strategy paper unveiled by Germany assumes the Coronavirus pandemic will last until 2021. But the country isn’t the only one in the European Union who is thinking ahead. Widespread testing is one of many steps to exit lockdown gradually in Europe. The UK is considering “immunity passport”, a certificate declaring that the holder is no longer at risk of contracting Coronavirus. Even though lifting or relaxing a lockdown could backfire and trigger a new wave of Covid-19 cases, the European Union (EU) also recognises that if the lockdown continues for too long, its economy will enter an even more prolonged downturn. It’s already estimated that the EU could take up to 2 years to return to its pre-Coronavirus GDP (gross domestic product) levels. So, does the backdoor government of Muhyiddin have a similar exit strategy to ensure the country’s economy could pick up as quickly as possible? Based on the reactions from the bloated 71 ministries (including newly promoted Special Envoy to the Middle East, Hadi Awang) so far, it appears everybody is happily enjoying their fat salaries while watching Netflix at home.
With the new infection cases remain stubbornly at 3-digit figure on a daily basis, it’s hard to see how Malaysia could end its MCO (movement control order), which was supposed to end on March 31, but extended to April 14. The only good news is the high number of recoveries. But the Health Ministry director-general Dr Noor Hisham Abdullah could only do so much. Dr Noor Hisham Abdullah is not a policymaker or a lawmaker, let alone a politician. He’s just a civil servant who somehow has proven to be more efficient, effective and professional than his boss, Health Minister Adham Baba. But it seems the clueless government is passing the buck to Dr Noor, depending entirely on him to tell the government whether the lockdown can be ended or otherwise. Hence, Dr Noor should be very careful when dealing with the politicians. If he says the MCO can be relaxed because the infected cases did not “spike”, but the situation gets worse later, he will get all the blames. On the other hand, if everything works accordingly, you can bet your last dollar that all the 71 incompetent ministers will suddenly appear in their rush to shamefully claim credit. Federal Territories Minister Annuar Musa has already hinted that the current lockdown could be extended after its expiry on April 14. The country continues to register new death(s) every day – from the first 2 deaths (March 17) to 62 deaths (April 6). That essentially means an average death toll of 3 persons every single day for the last 21 days since the first death started. On Saturday (March 4), Inspector-General of Police Abdul Hamid Bador revealed a disturbing data – there were a jaw-dropping 40,000 people involved in the Coronavirus chain of infection, involving up to about 11,000 “Tabligh” members who attended a religious gathering at a Sri Petaling mosque – Masjid Jamek – in Kuala Lumpur from February 28 and March 1. Apparently 16,000 people had attended the gathering. Confusing the matters, there were conflicting data from the police, Senior Minister Ismail Sabri Yaakob and Health Ministry. For example, when Ismail Sabri claimed the police was still tracking down 3,800 Tabligh members, police said 95% had already come forward, but the Health Minister said 5,084 had yet to step forward for tests.
Yet, despite in possession of the data, including the home addresses, telephone numbers and identity card numbers of the 40,000 people in the web of infection, the police continue to pussyfoot in getting all of them to be screened and tested. If the authorities and politicians refuse to temporarily put racial and religious politics in the cold storage, how could they draw up an exit plan like Germany? For example, the state of Johor police chief Ayob Khan Mydin Pitchay said of the 2,086 Johor participants who attended the Tabligh gathering, only 1,220 of them had undergone screenings in hospitals. To the remaining 866 attendees, the police chief – like a broken record – merely warned that they would face strict action by the authorities. Sure, a church gathering (Feb 26 – 28) in Sarawak and a wedding (March 6 – 7) in Bangi, Selangor, contributed to the clusters of Covid-19 cases in the country. However, Health Ministry director-general Dr Noor Hisham Abdullah said both clusters have been contained. The cluster that has yet to be contained is the Tabligh cluster, which forms the largest cluster (42.8%). Ending the lockdown will depend on the ability of a country to “flatten the curve”, follows by a downward trend. According to the World Health Organization (WHO), the Covid-19 cases in Malaysia are expected to peak in mid-April, which is about a week from now. But that was just a prediction. Can the health ministry, or even the government, says the curve has been flattened now? What will the government do if the chart does not spike even after mid-April, but continue to register 3-digit new cases? Will that mean the testings and screenings have barely scratched the surface because the Tabligh and other clusters are still growing to the next generation indefinitely? What if the chart does not spike after mid-April but follows by a downward trend? Will the government then declare the worst is over and the lockdown can be lifted or relaxed to enable certain sector of business to resume gradually? Muhyiddin government cannot continue blaming two Chinese men caught fishing to put food on the table, or a Chinese cardiologist jogging to keep healthy, or Heineken brewing its beer at 10% capacity as excuse that Coronavirus refuses to go away.
It’s time the backdoor government tells the people about its exit strategy so that the public and private sectors, schools, restaurants, hotels, pubs, retailers, transport services and whatnot know the expectations. Muhyiddin’s senior ministers and police cannot keep shouting about MCO stubborn defaulters as the reason the lockdown may be extended, but at the same time admits 99% compliance. Perhaps the incompetent government has not heard about exit strategy before, let alone crack their head to prepare for one. Making it compulsory for everyone to wear a face mask is the responsibility of the government, not Health Ministry director-general Dr Noor Hisham Abdullah. By the way, what happens to the so-called “free mask” promised by PM Muhyiddin recently? If there is any exit plan at all, the government should draft out a comprehensive definition of limited public gatherings. When the lockdown is eventually lifted or partially lifted, life will not be the same again. While social distancing has to be maintained, it can’t be as ridiculous as one person per car. People need to go to school, get their hair cut or have their car repaired. While the happiest group of people is the civil servants who get free cash on top of their guaranteed monthly salary and job security while napping at home, thanks to the recently announced RM250 billion stimulus package, the government’s piggy bank will soon runs dry. If business and commerce do not resume soon, there could be millions of jobless workers in the private sector. There’s little doubt that the virus is still out there. The objective is to gradually lift the lid on controls while watching what will happen with the Coronavirus spread. Certain states or districts or areas that are not Covid-19 hotspots should be prepared for an exit strategy. Perhaps the government hopes to see zero infection cases like China. But what if it does not happen even after another 2 extensions? - FT
