Ok, Headcannon time!

(This one is for both Mother's Day and Father's Day)

Villager:

There is a small window of time in which females and males go into heat... It is manageable when it is immediately tended to, but it can worsen each year if they do not find a partner.

This process can also be initiated by special bread or foods if wanted by both parties...

(Same gender partners can agree to have a third party member of the opposite gender join in to help procreate if same gender couple are planning to raise a child...)

Expecting Mothers and Fathers have a calming 'purr' like vocalization to help when the mother is feeling sick or in pain. After the baby arrives, the Father's personality changes to that of an overprotective growler... Sounding like a cat's low growl. Mother's stay close to their newborn(s) and will also have a low growl... When growling fails to warn the intruder, they roar before attacking in self-defense...

Both can roar; the men sound like tigers, the women like lions...

Illagers:

Expecting mothers hold themselves off in a room they feel most comfortable with, as 7 times out of 10 the father is off pillaging or fighting to defend the homestead... With half if not all failing to return.

Single Mothers will fight to keep their unborn child safe till they are born, then they have to fight to keep that child alive till they have proven themselves or have become young adults...

Father's that do return are avoided by the others as they fought to return home to their families. They have earned the right to be left alone as well as their wife and children...

If they return to their wife having been attacked and taken, the father will kill the Illager who took her. If she cheated and purposely lost the baby, both the cheating wife and Illager are killed...

Illager parents give off low deep growls similar to a dog or a wolf... They also roar; the men like bears, the women like cougars...

Witches:

Witches don't marry or keep life partners, but rather live solitary to themselves unless a meeting is called...

Male witches will stay with their partner until she drives him off or she can care for the child without him. It is rare for Witch parents to stay together and even rarer for the male witch to raise the child alone.

There are more females than there are males... A ratio of 8 females to 1 male (8 : 1)

Witches have a hiss like an alligator or crocodile and can give off a growl like said reptiles... magic infused with their roar will make it sound akane to that of the T-Rex from Jurassic Park...

Pillagers are more dangerous than villagers and wandering traders but they all seem the same sometimes.

A few Hours later...

Valorie looked over to Jay "So, do you have a girl waiting for you when you get back?"

"No, I'm a single man~"

"Really, I thought it was because the girls back home called you crazy?" Smith chuckled as Jay retorted "They just didn't understand me is all..."

Jay then noticed two fingers walking up to the boat "Who is that?"

Alexander had brought Valkyrie to the ship "And here we are..."

"I'm kinda nervous, are you sure it's ok for me too..." She started to ask when he cut her off "There is nothing to worry about, they need at least one more person before they set sail..."

Valkyrie then locked eyes with Jay for the first time...

"Hey, do you know the villager up there...💕" She asked Alex...

"Who?"

"The one with glasses...💕"

"Oh, that would be Jay." Alexander smiled telling her

"Jay..."

Meanwhile Valorie looked over to Smith "Should I be worried?"

"Na, he is just finally experiencing true love, right Jay?" Smith looked over to Jay

"What... Yeah.... Pretty cute..." Jay responded to them.

"Ya see, he's just fine."

Jay was the first to run down to meet their new shipmate.

"Everyone, this is Valkyrie." Alex smiled at them.

"It's a pleasure to meet you." Jay smiled at her holding her hand in both of his

"Likewise, your Jay... Right?"

"Th-Thats right..." He could not stop staring into her eyes...

"I think we have it from here buddy, let's get back on the boat." Smith chuckled at the site...

Alexander's voice then echoes....

'... I hope through this adventure...

You all learn to be humble...

To find love...

To find acceptance with yourself...

The courage to follow your dreams...

Orchid turned to everyone "Ok..."

'... To find what you have lost.'

"If we are ready... Let's set sail~"

'... I've done all I can do... It's up to you all to grow and become stronger for the challenge ahead...'

Alexander watched the ship set sail...

'I wish you the best of luck...'

Some hours after they first set sail...

Smith walked up to Orchid, stretching and with a yawn saying "I can't wait to see my folks again... It feels like forever since we were home..."

"Yeah... I do miss home..." Orchid responded to him "But..." She turned to him "... Getting to explore and meet new friends, we've learned so much... And finding others like me, I feel that we can now tell everyone where I might have come from..." Her smile brightens "It's going to be nice to talk to your mom and dad after these past few years~"

Smith was smitten with her smile "I'm sure they would be really happy to see us too..." He couldn't stop staring at her 'Maybe I should finally tell her...'

They both suddenly felt a drop of water on their heads...

"Was that rain?"

"I think it was just a strong wave..."

There was a sudden downpour of rain...

"I don't think so!" Orchid moved her arms to cover her head...

"We should get you and the others in the ship!" Smith had to speak up over the rain...

There was a sudden crash against the ship knocking Smith and Orchid over. Smith grabbed her "Hang on, I got you!" He grabbed the railing to keep them from sliding...

There was a sudden shout they heard.

"Wait, wasn't that Valkyrie?" Orchid asked...

"I thought I heard that little Illager!" Smith stated as they both looked up...

Jay was reaching out for Valkyrie who had Archie in her arms...

"VALKYRIE!" Jay rushed with a rope but it was too short...

"SOMEBODY HELP!" Valkyrie screamed holding Archie close as he screamed "I CAN'T SWIM!"

"ORCHID WAIT!" Smith called out to her as she got up and ran. She grabbed a rope and wrapped it around her right arm as she hurried to save them...

Both Valkyrie and Archie screamed as they fell off the ship, Valkyrie losing her cape in the process...

Orchid jumped and grabbed them both...

"Don't let go!" She shouted holding the rope tight...

As they came to a sudden stop, the rope tightened and jerked Orchid's arm severely. Orchid suddenly felt the pain and screamed out...

"Orchid!" Mason cries out after hearing her scream.

"We have to help!" Yumi called to him as she hurried over...

"Just hang tight Orchid, we'll have you up!" Smith called to her as he tugged the rope...

"I'm sorry Valkyrie! Just hang on!" Jay frantically pulled the rope with Smith...

Pillagers waiting near a river and watching a human fish. The chilled basket is soon full of salmon and that's when they barge into the scene and snatch the catch. Human does all the work and they reap the rewards.

But the human plots revenge and gets a bunch of silverfish and jams them into the basket. He sits down and pretends to fish while keeping himself and the rod mostly out of view, save for his head and the tip.

When the Pillagers emerge to bully him into giving up the food, they get a face full of bitey and very angry Silverfish. They roar and claw them, dancing around and racing back into the woods as the bugs give chase.

That patrol doesn't bother him again, deeming him not worth the trouble. He wasn't a Hero or any real threat anyways. Bruised egos take days to heal along with the bites.

Orchid saw two figures approaching the village. Upon closer inspection she saw that they were illagers, a vindicator and an evoker. The evoker cleared his throat and spoke: Uh, excuse me, I am Amicus and this is my bodyguard, Fidus. Could we perhaps spend the night in your village? I promise we will behave.

"It's quite fine you can stay with us, the others understand. Oh don't mind my brother he is just... Overprotective..."
