今日も出勤、昨日の続きでiMacの環境設定をする。バックアップからの復元ではなくて一から構築するのはそれなりに楽しい。プリンター・スキャナー・Timemachineなどのデバイスを設定し、次にアプリケーション類をインストールする。私の使い方ではM3チップは贅沢だが、やはりキビキビ動いてくれるのは嬉しい。自宅は27インチモニターだから若干狭いのは仕方ないが、ほぼ同じ環境で作業出来るのは有り難い。よし、がんばるぞー！

5時45分起床。

朝食。

洗濯。

弁当*2。

プラゴミ、45L*1。

ツレアイの職場経由で出勤する。

順調に到着・・・と思ったら、AppleWatchを充電器にセットしたままであったことに気づく。

iMacの環境設定、まずはデバイスをつなぐ。次に必要なアプリケーションのインストール、Microsoft365, PixelmatorPro, GoodNotes・・・。さらに各種サイトへのログイン、こんな時は＜Bitwarden＞の独壇場だ。ユーザIDとパスワードを登録しておけば、メインのパスワードだけ知っていれば後は覚える必要が無い。アマゾンや楽天、各ソーシャルメディアなどにログインして確認する。

図書館へ、紀要の抜き刷りを取りに行く。先日の大阪でのキルト展示に来てくれたスタッフが、当日差し上げたパンフレットを閲覧室で紹介してくれていた。大感謝！

弁当を頂き、早めに退出する。

順調に帰着する。

＜SOU・SOU＞の節分クーポンが今日から利用開始、2,000円のクーポンがあるので、ツレアイ用に春の新作を予約する。

＜無印良品＞のクーポン（500円）があるのだが、今月末でマイルがリセットされるので3月に入ったら糠床を買い足そう。

Appleから注文して置いた＜Keyboard＞が届く、来週の出勤時にiMacに繋ごう。

雨が止まないので、買物は諦めて在庫食料で夕飯準備。

鶏ジャガwithブロッコリー、ポークステーキ、コロッケ、カツオのたたき、レタスとトマト。ツレアイもそこそこに帰宅出来たので4人揃って夕飯開始。

録画番組視聴、ポワロ。

第3話「第三の女」/ The Third Girlシーズン 11, エピソード 3 オリヴァ夫人に紹介され、ノーマという娘がポワロを訪ねてくる。殺人を犯したかもしれないと告白したノーマだったが、それ以上何も告げずに去ってしまう。 興味を引かれたポワロは友人のオリヴァ夫人を訪ねるが、そこで死体が発見される。心に深い傷を負ったノーマのため、ポワロは調査に乗り出す。

片付けからの入浴・・・のはずが、気がつけば布団の中。

AppleWatchを忘れたので、帰宅してからの室内分だけ。水分は、1,780ml。

Today is both my 23rd birthday and college graduation! Who could have written a better script to end my college career? 建造中であった静岡ガンダム見学のついでに清水港や三保半島見物へ。

清水港には帆船のオーシャンプリンセス号が停泊していた。

Pixelmator’s New ML Super Resolution Feature is a Real Life ‘Enhance!’ Tool

Pixelmator Pro just released a new tool called “ML Super Resolution”: a machine-learning-powered feature that “makes it possible to increase the resolution of images while keeping them stunningly sharp and detailed.” In other words, the real-world equivalent of all those movies where someone yells “Enhance!” at their computer screen.

The macOS photo editing program has been integrating machine learning-powered tools for some time now, but ML Super Resolution may be the coolest one yet. Like Google’s RAISR technology or the recently developed EnhanceNet-PAT algorithm, ML Super Resolution improved on traditional upscaling algorithms by using a convolutional neural network to analyze the image you’re “enhancing” and predict the correct pixels to interpolate.

“Put simply, it takes into account the actual content of every image, attempting to recognize edges, patterns, and textures, recreating detail based on our dataset and extensive training,” explains Pixelmator on the company blog. “When upscaling, it can make much better predictions because a red pixel next to a blue pixel can be a completely different type of texture or edge in different images even though, to the primitive approaches, they’re always the same.”

Mucha gente se esta metiendo con Pixelmator Pro, la nueva app que quiere competir con Adobe Photoshop en el Mac, y la verdad es que no entiendo porque. Que si la interfaz, que si los menús, que si es muy complicada de utilizar… Para nada. A mi me parece un gran avance en este tipo de programas de retoque fotográfico.
