The way they treated Steven in Gen3 was so odd. He only ever appeared in this one-off, and is a no-show during the whole Hoenn crisis two-parter with Lance getting the spotlight instead. (I guess for FRLG promotion, or because Wallace had taken over the Champ role in the games by the time those episodes aired?) Fortunately, the Mega Evolution specials were a lot kinder to him.

Origami May from Pokémon Ruby and Sapphire designed and folded by me, in an impulsive burst of hyperfocus! One uncut square of double tissue paper. Though next time I would remember to use single color paper, since this one has some unwanted color changes from the backside of the sheet. Was going for a sort of Poké Ball-throwing pose. I'm thinking of making a guide like a photo diagram for this one if I can get some things more uniform in terms of shaping and can also just fit it in, time-wise.

I am overall happy with this one. And might have to fold some Pokémon to go with her. Maybe ino87's Salamence tutorial on youtube.

But yeah. I really like Ruby and Sapphire...

ash ketchum is really fucking short

hello i would like to formally point out that ash ketchum is a tiny lil boy just look at him!!

he’s a good head shorter than brock AND noticeably shorter than misty, an average height girl if not on the shorter side, comparing how tiny they look to any adult within the series:

no, this is not an error! put him next to ANY adult-sized human from any generation and he barely comes up to their chin--

all other generations he is the same height as/slightly shorter than the pokegirl:
