Earlier, while scrolling through Facebook, I saw that there’s going to be a new Kingdom Hearts mobile game that’s going to be like Pokemon Go and Wizards Unite and, until the 19th of November, you can actually sign up to be a beta tester.

I’ve never been a beta tester before so for the hell of it, I took a blind leap of faith and decided to sign up…I’ll admit that a part of me feels stupid for blindly signing up but you never know, that leap of faith might pay off…fingers crossed 🤞.

The footage seems all shaky the whole labatory seems to be shaking and screaming the door from the lab could be seen Slamming open,

and a young looking man and what could be recognized as Dr. Holiday run into the test subject's room she seemed to be very badly injured to the point she was missing an arm she coughed up blood and although audio was messed up some of what they said could be made out.

"Doctor please we gotta go I know that things your life's work but it's not worth losing your life over! We already know what happens when we play god and we're paying for it!, we gotta go before the experiment from the labatory next door finds us"

She could be seen dropping her arm to the ground and screaming before burning the wound closed with something before sitting down at the computer desk.

"NO I MUST COMPLETE HIM OTHERWISE HE'LL BE DEAD WITHIN 30 YEARS HIS CODE ISN'T DAMN COMPLETE YOU CAN EITHER HELP ME OR LEAVE! I CAN DO IT MYSELF IF I HAVE TO!"

Although the faces were blurred the man jumped and mumbled "I'm sorry... I just don't want to die I hope you make it out of here okay." Before running away as some sounds of destruction came towards them seemed.

She seemed to scoff loudly before rubbing her head and continuing to work away typing away the best she could with only one arm this project was her life's work she didn't want it to destroy itself she wanted to complete him,

she was growing tired and looking around her nervously the sounds were so loud so distracting she then noticed the camara still recording and got up from the table and began to walk towards it just as the door smashed open with a blue glow around it.

She gasped for air feeling herself being choked by a physic hold pulling at her own throat she began to beg but not for her life but instead for her creations life.

"P-Please let me store these logs in his memory at least I beg you he must know about his past... and... give him this scarf it's from his mother"

The legendary pokemon let go of her throat and spoke telepathically "YOU HAVE 5 MINUTES THEN I'M SETTING THIS CREATURE FREE"

She sighed before turning the camara off and the footage ended there.

Niantic and Capcom launching Monster Hunter Now in September

The location-based game Monster Hunter Now developed by Niantic and Capcom will be released on the iOS App Store and Google Play in September. Registrations are now open for the beta test, which will begin on Tuesday, April 25. The project came up when Niantic visited Capcom in March 2019, and Monster Hunter series producer Ryozo Tsujimoto 'immediately said 'Let's do it' without giving it a second thought.' The AR game will preserve the key social characteristic of the Monster Hunter series. Players will team up with any others in the area when taking down monsters. There will be in-game purchases.

The launch of Monster Hunter Now is crucial for Niantic. After the huge success of Pokémon Go, Niantic has been trying to make location-based games of the same type, such as Harry Potter: Wizards Unite, but the game has been shut down in January 2022 due to poor performance. According to Bloomberg, in 2022, Niantic has canceled four projects, including Heavy Metal, a Transformers game that Niantic announced last year, and Hamlet, a collaboration between Niantic and Punchdrunk. The company also cut 85 to 90 jobs (8% of the staff). In addition, The Witcher: Monster Slayer will also be shut down on June 30, 2023. It seems that Niantic is still in the shadow of Pokémon Go and has not launched a more successful game. (Covid must be a big reason.) The success of Pokemon Go is undoubtedly due to Nintendo's strong IP popularity. The cute image of Pokémon is welcomed by all audience groups. In this sense, whether Monster Hunter's IP popularity can help Monster Hunter Now break through the fan base is still unknown, although the Monster Hunter series is Capcom's second largest IP in addition to the Resident Evil series.  In addition, for Niantic, whether to continue to do the same type of AR game seems to be a question. Pokémon GO's success is also attributable to the fact that the AR game was so new to the public when it was released that it harvested lots of attention. However, AR games did not change much after so many years.  Whether Niantic develops a new way of playing for Monster Hunter Now may be the decisive factor for the success of this title. If not, it seems the entire AR game industry should start thinking about where to go next: is AR game a flash in the pan?

For Nobunaga no Yabou’s 40th anniversary, Koei announced a new AR app called “Nobunaga no Yabou: Shutsujin”. 

It will have a feature similar to Pokemon Go, where players control their in-game avatars’ movements by walking around in real life locations. Instead of simply sending units to conquer territories, players will need to physically walk to the territory they want to conquer. See below right, where the IRL location names and stations are labelled on the map:

There will also be in-game events, just like most other mobile games would. During the currently-ongoing beta test period, players are able to test out the Kawanakajima Battle event, but so far there’s no official posts describing what that looks like. The main website only says “See instructions in the game”. 

I’m not sure if players are allowed to share on social media their gaming experience, but we’ll see if there’s updates from the official accounts later.

Woke up at 7am and told Siri to wake me up after 30 minutes and was surprised when she told me that she'll wake me up at 7.30am. I thought that wasn't right because work starts at 7.45am and then I realised that I was off today and the only reason why I had an alarm is that I have an appointment today withy my dermatologist. Texted Eddie good morning and called my grandma and sister. Won Wordle with two attempts and I could feel Eddie's dismay over text.

Didn't catch the bus on time so had to wait another 5 minutes and I was a bit worried that I might miss my appointment. GP gave me an option to take oral antibiotics or take a topical one. It's one or the other because she can't risk me having resistance to antibiotics. I chose to take oral antibiotics and she prescribed me a few medical creams and a very expensive cleanser and moisturizer that helps me reduce my sebum because apparently I have oily skin fuck this shit. Fuck the price. 38GBP just for a cleanser and a moisturizer. La Rosch Posay why do you have to be so anti-poor? My desperate-ass just bought it blind. I was planning to go to JD to have a look at this converse shoe I've been eyeing on but didn't because I spent a lot already this day. Got a haircut today and I like it. I'm going back to that barber, I swear. Went to the gym and did back, chest, abs, and legs today and a bit of cardio. It was a strong session. My pull-ups are getting better. Maybe I could come and climb with Eddie one of these days, or maybe not. Just thinking about climbing scares the hell out of me and my hands sweat like crazy. Got some Starbucks from Tesco on my way home and passed by the post office to pick-up some letters and got my CC from HSBC which I'll be using from now on. Cooked some noodles with the San Marino Corned Tuna and that'll be my lunch for the next two days. Put my TV in its box because I'll be selling it to Misch this payday and threw my vibrating pad in the bin. I hope someone buys my shoe rack because otherwise I'll be throwing it in the bin too. Watched 2 episodes of Euphoria and gosh why do they make taking drugs look artsy? I'm kind of insecure that I haven't tried weed at 27 years old. I would want to just so I could say that I have. Weed's not exactly that kind of drug but it's the feeling of novelty, I guess. My GOSH manager has called me and told me that my start date will either be on the 8th of the 22nd and since I'll be on leave on the 26th-29th, they can't give me the 22nd. I have to finish two weeks. I have to talk to Ate Airen about adjusting my last day in DSU on the 6th because I have to give myself time to move from here to Eddie's. It's all happening... Also, my BRP will be coming through the post within 2 days. It's really happening. Played a few games in Pokemon Unite. Can't wait for Friday. I'll definitely massacre Diablo 4 Open Beta. I'll be a necromancer.

Today's thoughts are about me being insecure. About many things that I don't have that others do. Experiences that I don't have, my social life, my circle, these kind of stuff. I guess I want to have that. I have to acknowledge these feelings and accept myself in the present and pat myself in the back and be my own supporter. I have to make these things happen to me in my own time. It's not going to happen overnight. I have to be patient and when moments and opportunities come, I have to seize and make the most out of them. I'm a jealous soul. Another way to word it is that I just want the good that everyone else is having.
