King Abdullah II, Queen Rania and Crown Prince Hussein of Jordan attended the national event marking the Silver Jubilee, held on the 25th Accession to the Throne Day on 9 June 2024.

Upon Their Majesties’ arrival to the event venue surrounded by the Red Motorcade, the national anthem was played and Royal Jordanian Air Force fighter jets conducted a fly-past.

Around 9,000 Jordanians attended the event, including members of the Royal family, senior officials and officers, and diplomats from Arab and foreign countries.

The event highlighted Jordan’s achievements throughout a quarter of a century, through a military parade by the Jordan Armed Forces-Arab Army and security agencies, showcasing the latest developments in these national institutions, reflecting the high professionalism and commitment of its personnel.

Around 3,200 personnel from all military and security formations and units marched before the stands.

The military parade also showcased various JAF vehicles, including tanks, cannons, and other weapons recently introduced to service, as well as defence machinery manufactured by the Jordan Design and Development Bureau, along with air shows by the Royal Jordanian Air Force, and free falling paratroopers.

The JAF musical band also performed at the event.

During the event, His Majesty and the attendees saluted border guards and anti-terrorism troops, as well as cadres who participated in airdrops to Gaza and worked at the field hospitals in the strip, in recognition of their efforts, and their role in safeguarding Jordan’s stability.

The event also featured cultural and folklore segments representing all governorates performed by over 1000 young men and women, with 12 floats representing each governorate.

A group of young Jordanians performed the Silver Jubilee anthem and another national song composed for the occasion.

What's Ganondorf like in the Divine AU?

Ganondorf is the king of the gerudoes and his mission is to overthrow Queen Dazel before she invades Ordon. He raised Princess Zelda and is working with a sheikah named Hiero to find the hero of legend while also training Zelda in the powers of light magic.

He's more like the father of the group, being Zelda"s adoptive father and Link's mentor in the story. He's also got a twin sister named Basma. (who is the sage of Lightning)

He's like..the second tallest of the Ganondorfs(8'7) in my aus.. and he's about 45 and he's gaaaay (all my Ganondorf's are gay lol) and he's a sweetie to Hiero.

I will hopefully make the Divine vessel au comic soon, but it's so big.. I have like 12 sages to make and ontop of 4 champions..AND others.

*He attended the Royal Military Academy Sandhurst in England.

*At the time of his passing, February 7, 1999, King Hussein was the longest serving executive head of state.

Two things: I don't get the UN thing. So Meghan was upset that she wasn't made an ambassador in 2015, that when she saw them at the market, she was mad? I don't get why she would have expected them to make her an ambassador when in 2015, she was still very unknown.

Second thing: I always found it so funny how almost all the rumours about them turn out to be true. Like, the palace denied Vogue for ages, and then it turned out to be true! And that's why I can't with "William is leaking" No, your faves, specifically Meghan, is leaking like crazy and has been since day one. Just accept it.

Yes, basically she wanted to be an ambassador and they said no (or they just didn't respond). So Meghan apparently said she would only do the Fiji engagement with them if they didn't have signage anywhere (I think it was a "if I can't be an ambassador then you can't promote your program" type thing) - and when they had signage anyway she flipped out. I'm not sure WHEN she wanted to be an ambassador. She did her stint with them in 2015, at which point yeah - why would she have EVER thought she was on the same level as Angelina Jolie or Emma Watson? So I wonder if the subject was broached while she was dating or engaged to Harry and they were kind of like "eh - let's see how this pans out" before making any commitments. And also, the UN already works closely with a few other royal women (Crown Princess Mary, Princess Basma of Jordan, The Queen Mother of Bhutan, and more) - they don't need another royal at this time.

I think the thing to remember with rumors is that they don't start out of thin air. Where there's smoke there's fire - but to it's surprising how ACCURATE many of them have been (usually you get things that are partially true and partially false - and not typically as BAD as the initial rumor is).

Yeah, when SS is like "oh look William is leaking!" as if somehow that's a coup it's frustrating. The Sussexes have been leaking since Day 1. We've had details of so many private conversations come out. FFS they paid for a press release about FLOWERS being sent to a FUNERAL (which is so, so tacky). But Camp Cambridge says "Yeah, they aren't speaking" and that's a leak? That's not a leak! That's the Cambridges confirming common sense.
