What’s the easiest way to connect my iPhone to a printer?
Connecting your iPhone to a printer is easy if your printer supports AirPrint. Just ensure both devices are on the same WiFi network. Open the file you want to print, tap the share icon, and select “Print.” For printers without AirPrint, download the manufacturer’s app (like HP Smart or Canon PRINT) from the App Store and follow setup instructions. Still unsure how to get it all working? Our remote operating system support can walk you through every step, whether it’s WiFi configuration, app setup, or printer driver installation.

reveal of my gordon hlvrai costume project, now that about half of it is done! this is cardstock and glue and tape and more glue and paint and velcro. and 2 gloves (one hand-sewn)
i got started sometime in early-mid fall, but i committed to making it work with cardstock in january- it was originally meant to be a sizing test before construction with eva foam over the summer. then i realized how expensive thatd be, too much pressure for a form of craft ive never practiced. im pretty amazed with how its come together, even with the large seams! during that whole time when it was unpainted (started painting two weeks ago) there was no way to tell

i heard about thermal printers from yzu's post on twitter and judging by what i could find on youtube about them (tiktok style shorts) they seem to have gained popularity from tiktok. i did find a nice (aesthetically pleasing) informative full length video about them though, from the channel MarinaMakesArt posted November 1st 2024
youtube
and here is a video from March 10th 2022 about thermal printers by the channel She's Basically

does anyone remember the scrapbook post from two weeks ago?? well, my sister is now VERY proud to present: the rebels scrapbook, featuring what has since become an entire (!!!) kalluzeb page.
the highlights, in my opinion, include: the polaroids, the songs that just “fit the vibe” in her words, literally everything about the kalluzeb page, the MEMES, the baby yoda w/ sunglasses that is “literally her,” and the copious amounts of glitter covering everything.

"I'm sorry your husband is at war. Would you like to make him a scrapbook for when he gets home?"
"Your husband will return from war eventually."
"Your husband will come back, don't worry. You'll get him in the mail. And we can make him a scrapbook. Maybe he'll send you a care package."
Quotes from my mom, about Granolah, because I said "I MISS MY HUSBAND :(" and she's decided that the saying "he's at war" is how we explain his absence. Until I can order and get a plush.

I actually hate giving irl friends pics as gifts.
I did it once a bit back cuz they were going through a rough time.
it was special then, but now there is a weird expectation
and every time I give a pic as a gift after it gets less and less special
watching my arts' value drop off in front of my eyes is kinda too much ouch for me dog.

My mom loves her buy-nothing group. She loves a good bargain and you can't beat free.
This week she picked up a HP ink tank printer that had "wifi problems"
She had no intention of fixing that herself. She called me to fix it. "The wifi just stopped working on it one day and they couldn't get it to work again" was all I was told
I got it working in 45 minutes
I commandeered my dad's laptop and downloaded the HP app (🤮) on it and tried the setup. Couldn't connect.
I printed the information page. The wifi was turned off. There were Instructions on the key combo to turn it on and a print the Wi-Fi setup guide
I turned it on and printed the setup guide
Of the 3 pages of methods I saw USB cable and jumped on that immediately
Suddenly HP App could see the printer! Big shock. USB never lets me down. #Hardwired for life.
I went into the printer setting and added it to our wi-fi
I printed another test page. Wi-Fi is on and it has an IP adress
I unplugged the USB and tried to print. No dice. It didn't add network printing to the computer.
I try to add the printer again
It can't find it on the wifi
I punch in the IP address that it just printed out into the search bar
It found it instantly
It took 5 min to add the drivers
I tried to print
Printer is not in the printer list. It's hiding in the more options page. I print a test page from the laptop
I go on my phone and print a photo from my gallery
This printer is totally fine and has 0 issues.

A pile of mascots/symbolic creatures of the supernatural orgs. Used variously in logos, marketing, political cartoons, and as tattoos by particularly devoted members.
Left-to-right, top-to-bottom:
The Serpopard of the Preternatural Legion
The Eagle of the Department of the Unknown
The Fox of the Chatter & Melody Society
The Chimera of the Paranatural Council
Worldbuilding nonsense below
Each of the symbolic creatures probably exists in reality at this point, given Humanity’s tendency to turn nothings into somethings, but wherever they are, they haven’t been found yet.
The Serpopard is probably the least stereotypical of its organization. Legionnaires have the nickname of ‘wolves’ due to their tendency to stick together, be armed (usually with stabby things), fondness for dusk and dawn, and general dislike of ‘cats’, or police, and ‘lions’, or military. But the organization chose the serpopard, or, as they call it, the Champion, to represent them as a symbol of power. Then they had to go and stick on hooves (for the tenacity of warhorses), a snake for a tail (for cunning), wings (for mobility), and human hands (for adaptability). No member has yet worked up the courage to admit that they’re just trying to copy the Council.
The Eagle is very typical and vanilla, especially since the Department, as part of the US federal government, was all but required to use the bald eagle somewhere in their iconography. In the original design for the seal of the Department of the Unknown, the Eagle wore a blindfold, representing the ignorance of the supernatural held by the government of the time. In the modern iteration of the seal, this Pathfinder’s blindfold has come undone, and now she holds a lantern to guide the rest of the government when it comes to dealings with the Unknown.
The Fox is almost offensively stereotypical of the Society. With his alternate name, the Scribe, harkening back to the org’s scholarly roots, and his design reflecting their two patron gods: the vulpine Chatter and avian Songbird. Nevertheless, he is a perfectly serviceable symbol of the Society, and has existed in some form since their heraldry days.
The Chimera is the newest, and arguably most carefully designed. Originally codenamed as the Amalgamation during the design process, they represent the global cooperative motive behind the existence of the International Paranatural Council, as many parts come together to make a coherent and better whole. Deliberately bucking the trends of so-called ‘angelic’ symbolism used by the other mascots, it is intentionally demonic and draconic, toting bat wings and goat horns in an embrace of all manifestations of the supernatural.

They came out so good!! Nasty fox gets a glow in the dark sticker sheet set!! Glow in the dark stickers with these super complex kiss cut lines was PERHAPS a bit overambitious but it worked! I'm really happy with them, though the production had me biting my nails a bit (a lot). idk man I always wanna try new things. Q_Q

something very funny but endearing to me in fanon is when people have the androids be usb-compatible. just update their drivers w a usb dongle.
now would usb still exist in 2038? undoubtedly. but we all know that cyberlife would come up with some bullshit proprietary wire for interfacing with their tech.
