Rest in peace Akira Toriyama, the creator of Dragon Ball Z. 😢 🌻
You've been such a huge inspiration to me and to countless others. A lot of amazing work wouldn't have been made without your influence! You will be missed! 🌟
Let me pay tribute with a redraw of Tails in the traditional Toriyama art style! Includes both a colored and black & white version!
Aaand I couldn’t find these in my gallery earlier. More Lego Monkie Kid x Spiderverse stuff. Macaque isn’t actually a spiderman, he’s a variant of the prowler.
Mei also has a second suit, for when she unlocks her Samadhi fire, but I havent drawn anything with that suit besides a quick scrappy concept sketch
The reason Sea Dragon Leviathans live so exclusively in the Lava Zones is because their bodies are so large that they require an incredible amount of underwater pressure to keep themselves from falling apart (and also because their eggs need to be kept very warm to be incubated properly).
If a Sea Dragon Leviathan were to roam to the upper zones (Lost River and above) for too long, they'd die from depressurization, the way some deep-sea animals do when brought up.
Reaper Leviathans, however, have bodies dense enough that they can enter deeper pressure zones for some time - and they certainly do this, given they have competition for food from other Reapers, as well as the Ghosties.
So.. some of them will venture the Lost River in hopes of finding more prey in the form of Crabsquids and River Prowlers. Which, overall.. makes them an easy, nutritious target for hungry Sea Dragons who sometimes find them at these more comfortable depths.
Sea Dragons will also prey on very young Ghost Leviathans that are foolish enough to enter the Lava Zones to sate their appetites.. but leave the more grown ones alone since they're too tough to consume, and don't want to incur the wrath of these pack predators. The reason no remains of Ghost Leviathans are found is because they have no true skeleton - and Sea Dragons will eat every part of this leviathan.
"Do you not hunt the yetis of the high peaks, stripling? Their meat is as tender as a bear's and their blood as warming as fire. They are prey that will please Atarka." —Surrak, the Hunt Caller
